Thanks to the new changes, my post count is now five times my activity. Just thought it was interesting.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin already using too much power by 2020? on: June 11, 2016, 04:40:22 PM
Agree, if the banks are gone, and BitCoin takes over, it'll be alright.

This is very true. The corporatocracy harms the environment more than Bitcoin ever will but nobody dares criticize it.
883  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pakistani husband of 3, father of 35, aims for 100 children on: June 11, 2016, 04:39:06 PM
The world is complaining about overpopulation, poverty, devastation etc and this man is aiming to have 100 children. I think it is better to have a family planning so that he can give a better future for his children  Smiley

Family planning is not permitted in his religion, and that is why he is producing so many children. The business minded religions always encourage their adherents to have as many children as possible, in order to increase their power and revenue. This is true for both modern Christianity (especially in third world nations such as Nigeria and the Philippines) and Islam.

Why are you assuming what his religion is even though it is never specified in the article? Or are you assuming that all brown people are Muslims?
884  Other / Politics & Society / Re: McDonald’s Is Days From Opening Restaurant Run Entirely By Robots on: June 11, 2016, 04:37:30 PM
I meant that they tackle ebooks available publicy on sites like Thepiratebay. They also refrain from releasing electronic copies of books, and also do not use textbooks that are available as ebooks on the internet. If an ebook ends up being leaked, they simply change a few words and rerelease the book by calling it a new edition. Worst scam ever. By the way, if anybody has a way of getting on ebook.farm or ebooks.wtf, please tell me, I've been banned from both for inactivity and I'm a broke college student.
885  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: June 11, 2016, 04:35:09 PM
I am just posting to let potential participants in this campaign know in advance, I have not been paid in full for all my posts. I was paid for 19 posts yesterday when I made over 30 posts. There are counting issues.
886  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 5 reasons for global marijuana legalization on: June 11, 2016, 04:33:20 PM
I hope we can(abis) agree on that?

Terrible pun, but I agree otherwise. It is a war, they refer to it as such (ie The War on Drugs)

Liberty shall prevail in the end.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling crying thread on: June 11, 2016, 04:29:47 PM
Just to let everyone know, this thread is a safe space. You will be free from judgment, and should not hold anything back when sharing your emotions. Let this be a therapeutic moment indeed
888  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: New sub-forum on: June 11, 2016, 12:22:16 PM
We really don't need an entire sub just for religious discussion.

Thank you for your input. Can you tell us why?
889  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 5 reasons for global marijuana legalization on: June 11, 2016, 12:20:49 PM
Its just that my opinion, I think marijuana must be legalized but with restrictions. For example, you can't buy marjiuana unless you got some medical prescription from a qualified doctor. That way drug abusers can't abuse it easily.  Grin

Marijuana is not a drug of abuse. Tobacco cigarettes are more addictive, as is alcohol but those industries have corporate representatives
890  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit Scammed me; During Okpay withdrawal, I am waiting from 3 days on: June 11, 2016, 12:10:15 PM
Have you tried to contact them? Has this been resolved yet?
891  Economy / Auctions / Re: Hero member account 720+ potential on: June 11, 2016, 12:07:56 PM
Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, you're probably in the auctions section of bitcointalk waiting in line to be ripped off
892  Other / Politics & Society / Re: McDonald’s Is Days From Opening Restaurant Run Entirely By Robots on: June 11, 2016, 11:37:01 AM
That's the thing.

If your job can be done by a robot, then you are useless. And sooner or later, you will be fired.

Colleges are losing their advantages slowly. Most of them will be producing biological robots with no thinking- Humans. (They already do actually, but robots haven't completely overtake humanity yet.)

Robots are cheaper, robots make no mistakes (very little chance), robots don't hold grudges, they don't spit on your food. Then why the heck i choose humans? I prefer robots.

Robots are also doing another good for us. They remind us that we don't need to make kids more than 2. That is the reason why the world is becoming a shittier place every day.

We are already seeing colleges declare a war against ebooks and they try to suppress technology. So yes, you are absolutely right
893  Other / Politics & Society / Re: London's mayor is a muslim! on: June 10, 2016, 05:27:52 PM
Interesting how many new accounts are being created to do damage control on this issue.

Lesson of the day: When multiple people disagree with you, dismiss their opinions as they are all multiple accounts. In fact, there are only two original accounts on Bitcointalk. The rest are all multis.
894  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT scammed me -and not only- during DCR withdraw. Seems they won't fix it on: June 10, 2016, 05:25:22 PM
Hackers got them today. Most funds have been dissolved. Educated guess.

How Bitcointalk users react when someone goes offline for a day.
895  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit Scammed me; During Okpay withdrawal, I am waiting from 3 days on: June 10, 2016, 05:11:28 PM
I have my signature space rented out for their campaign. I sincerely hope I will not have any issues when I withdraw my money. They seem to be doing okay so far but I have not tried to withdraw yet.
896  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 10, 2016, 04:56:00 PM
Read books, get smarter. Start a company, create value and sell it. Convert a bit of your revenue to bitcoin and hope for the best. Actually, you should never put all your hopes for bitcoin to make you rich! You should invest in your self and create a business which makes you steady (passive) income. With this income you can buy bitcoin!

Currently I am working for a boss but in my free time I am working on my own business. My business is making about $100 per month so I cannot quit my job yet. But If I hit a steady $5000 a month side income, I will consider quitting my job.

$5000 a month is not even sustainable in some countries, ie Canada.

I have lost 100$ worth of bitcoin in dice even with only two possible outcomes loss in dice is so much. Even with small bets i lost 100$ within 3 hours at midnight time. Angry Embarrassed
I got this loss few month back.
Playing dice for 3 hours sounds too long for me. In dice game, everything can happen even in just 5 mins. And with small bets, you should realized your lose and didn't continue your bet after you have lost around 50$.

You get reeled in because of the emotions. You get tempted to "win back" what you have lost, and that often worsens the circumstances.
900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling crying thread on: June 10, 2016, 03:16:15 PM
My biggest loss was during a ame of progressive slot wins. I started with 0.1 BTC and worked my luck all the way up to more than 4 BTC, but I was too greedy and instead of cashing out I simply spent my time playing more and more.

I went from 0.1 BTC, to 4 BTC in 10 minutes, and from 4 BTC, to 0 BTC in 20 minutes.

I didn't cry tho..

You should cry. It is healthy, let it all out. You will feel a lot better when you release your emotions. This has been scientifically documented.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/benefits-of-a-good-cry-crying-science_us_55dca26fe4b0a40aa3ac4e30

Otherwise, your emotions will be suppressed and you will never know when the negative feelings will strike you.
