881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Insurance for trading exchange on: May 24, 2019, 03:37:13 PM
A lot of trading exchanges have been hacked and users funds stolen leading to the closure of such an exchange, following the recent hack of the binance and 7000 btc stolen by hackers and the effect of such on btc markets, i think the trading  exchange should consider an insurance policy to cover loss in case of funds theft.
Do you think this idea with work in the cryptocurrency business?

This sounds like an insurance for bank deposits for depositors. Here in the Philippines there is a company called PDIC or Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation. A bank needs to be a member of this so that the deposits of their depositors are covered but there's a limit. Lets say the coverage is up to $10,000 USD deposits. If anything happened to the bank, the deposits of the depositors are covered up to $10,000 USD, however anything above $10,000 USD will not be covered anymore. However, in Crypto exchanges, I think its going to be hard to prove that they did not hack themselves to get paid.

883  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: May 23, 2019, 11:51:46 PM
disagree with you. Day trading is profitable in cryptomarket only choose entry and exit point carefully  Wink

Day trading will need more effort to find the entry and exit point even with deeper analysis because to find that, we need to analyze one by one, including watch the price moves. But day trading now can be worth because many coins can go up to a higher price so we will have the opportunity to make a profit.

Day trading is a exhausting process overall ,but with practice it can be a very profitable.
Yes it is exhausting because you need to monitor the price of the coins that you are watching for you to be able to sell and buy at the right time. That is why day trading is not for everyone because it needs focus and time. I tried it before and I ended up watching my monitor all day. Unlike those who prefers to hold their coins for a long period of time.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: May 23, 2019, 11:47:10 PM
I think it depends on what the game is. In a dice game, you need to rely on pure luck. Some say you can apply the martingale strategy but I tried that strategy and I ended up loosing more in the end. I am not saying that martingale strategy its not a good strategy, it may not worked for me but it may work to others. In a card game, you need both. A good bluffer can make another player fold even if he is holding a good card.
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: May 23, 2019, 11:38:53 PM
I don't. I let them discover it themselves. But if someone asks me about it, I will tell them about Bitcoin, and if I see a positive interest I will encourage them to go into Bitcoin. We are wondering why Bitcoin is has not yet reached mainstream and yet we don't wan't to share our knowledge with Bitcoin in fear of being blamed if ever they suffer losses.
886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to trading? Learn to be an emotionless trading machine on: May 23, 2019, 11:34:55 PM
Actually, being an emotionless trader is difficult. I also make some adjustments regarding with my trade right now. In fact, I lost my interest today because I am waiting for bitcoin to move down and direct to my bias but it seems like it won't happen. I would like to say that you cnanot fight with your emotion but you can learn how to adapt certain changes in just improve yourself in trading.
This is why there are bots out there that helps you trade, this way you don't have to worry on your emotions and let the bot buy and sell for you based on the settings that you entered. I myself sometimes overcome by my emotions specially when someone that I know and also in trading tells me something that is so convincing that makes me buy or sell a coin.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: May 23, 2019, 11:31:16 PM
This could turn disaster if you keep on playing and in one time you might lose the money . Longer you play more chances of losing also increases and your profit will become less in such instances where you gamble for long time .
This is true. Once you gained profit, keep it and continue to play within your limits and if you lost, you have to set a limit of up to how much you are willing to let go and not look back. Trying to recover your losses is not really a good idea and you might end up loosing more than what you planned to play within the day.
888  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining in the cloud vs simply buying bitcoin on: May 23, 2019, 11:27:45 PM
Question is,is there such thing as cloud mining, I know a few reliable ones like Hashnest but the profits there is too small and the maintenance fee will eat up your profits. That is why I stick to trading because there your coins have more opportunity to grow with careful selection of what coin to buy and careful planning.
889  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: May 23, 2019, 11:23:59 PM
I always see this word being posted in twitter to "buy the dip" but for newbies in trading, its going to be hard for them to determine if its "the dip" or the price will continue to drop drastically. I remember wen I was new in trading, I kept of buying when the price started to go down thinking that the price will recover until I run out of funds for trading. Price did not recover for a month.
890  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com 🔥 CASHBACK 🌟 NEW LEVELS 🌟 NEW RANKS🌟 CHEST PRIZES OF $35,000 💰 on: May 23, 2019, 11:20:06 PM
Contests are basically casinos giving back the money they won from you so it would be silly to think they should be giving back too much. Hell while at it why don't we ask them to give us all the losses back but we will still keep the wins so in the end lets bankrupt this place very quickly!?!

Contests are already something that literally should not exist and only exists because of competition and since bitsler wants to keep it going without becoming some old casino people used to play they are doing it and that is great for us gamblers to have such a great competitive contests here however it makes no sense to keep asking for more.

When you are out eating dinner somewhere is the drink you have with that meal is free? No you pay for everything but here you may lose and win but in the end they will even give you some back no matter what.
I guess every business have something in mind to give back to their loyal clients and they also have something in mind to keep it up with the competition. There's new online casino being launched every month and existing online casino needs to do something to keep their clients. Even tv shows run contests to keep thier viewers from switching channels so I don't mind seeing contests run by an online casino or a dice site like Bitsler.
891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buy fast and sell fast on: May 23, 2019, 11:14:02 PM
If in trading apply fast trading strategy,
What obstacles are constraints
and weaknesses?
Befe you buy anything, you need to look at where the price of the coin is heading, use RSI and Bollinger bands. Impulsive buying in trading is dangerous. You need to study the trend first. Also plan your exit, what will be your planned profits before selling. If you aim too high, it might take quite some time before you hit your goal, but if you aim too low, it might be achievable but you will not feel your profits because its too small.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: May 23, 2019, 11:09:00 PM
Looking at Nitrogensports and checked the odds, it looks like the fighting pride of the Philippines Senator Manny Pacquiao is the underdog. The odds are +115 for Manny Pacquiao and -135 for Keith Thurman. If the fight will go until the last round, I think Senator Manny Pacquiao will win. Senator Manny Pacquiaos speed is something that Keith Thurman needs to overcome.
893  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 23, 2019, 11:04:35 PM

Over the past 30 years, salary never goes up, I know because I saw the salary today is same as my first salary 30 years ago, I’m not disclosing my age, so don’t be too paranoia, but the price of everything goes up thru the roof, the only person who salary goes up are (ikr, salary must kept secret because it is case sensitive, don’t tell anyone else!), ok, enough rant! Try to tell your kids to work for a salary in the future, I think they could barely afford a piece of beard!!

End of story! Ciao!
I think yours is a special case that you need to take on to your employer if after working for 30 years and you did not get a raise, its either your company does not appreciate your loyalty or the company see's no reason to give you a raise. Price of goods go up yes we all agree with that but salary in general also goes up as in our country, there is a minimum wage law that companies need to follow and minimum wage law is being reviewed every year so minimum wage increases every year too.
894  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price and Binance on: May 23, 2019, 11:00:08 PM
How many people think the price increase has been triggered by the fact that Binance has stopped withdrawals?
If so what happens to the price when Binance allows withdrawals again?
There is no impact on the price of Bitcoin and withdrawals in Binance. Actually if you observe the price of Bitcoin lately, it continues to go up specially before the weekends and start of weekday, the price will continue to climb unlike before, weekends price of Bitcoin starts to go down and price will slightly recover at start of weekday again.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 23, 2019, 10:56:10 PM
Every new exchange that is being launched has something new to offer to the market. The failure of an old exchange is an opportunity to new exchanges. I don't mind seeing new exchanges because not all exchanges offer the same service and not all exchanges list the coin that I need. Also, for the sense of security, there are those who prefer companies that are within their reach so if anything bad happens, they know where to go.
896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I accept Bitcoin payments on my website? on: May 23, 2019, 10:50:58 PM
Do some research on these, and choose what you think's best for your business.

NOTE: These are just the BTC payment processors I know by name. I have zero idea if these services work well, so dyor.

1. BitPay: https://bitpay.com/
2. BTCPay: https://btcpayserver.org/
3. GoCoin: https://gocoin.com/
4. CoinPayments: https://www.coinpayments.net/
5. Coinbase Commerce: https://commerce.coinbase.com/
Sorry to OP. Which among this in the list is the easiest to use and easiest to install in my planned blog. I plan to sell something in my blog but the quantity of the item to be sold is not too many, maybe less than 10 in a month. Is it advisable to use any of those or just use the PM function to discuss the price and mode of payment.
897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What trading strategy do you guys use? on: May 23, 2019, 10:45:30 PM
Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?
The only strategy that I use is to stick to my plan of gaining only 1.5% to 2.5% profits in every trade. I don't aim for anything higher than that because I might fall to a trap like and end up holding a high priced coin. I know that price of BTC and Altcoins recovers when it drops but it may take quite sometime for it to happen. I am not a fan of long term holding.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: May 23, 2019, 10:41:34 PM
As much as I would like to support Donaire on his quest to win the WBSS Bantamweight Final, I think Inoue will win this fight. Donaire has the punching power and I ma not taking that away from him but he has this attitude of not following the fight plan specially when he is being over whelmed by his opponent. But I hope, he wins this one and bring pride to the Philippines again.
899  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is heading back to $6k on: May 23, 2019, 10:32:34 PM
Its now $7,800 and it's been going back and fort at $7,100 since May 12 and I see a growing interest again in Bitcoin as some stock market investors in or country started asking again where to buy Bitcoin and who can sell regardless of many is available. However, this is like what happened last 2017 when stock market investors achieved their goal they dumped their Bitcoins and price started to drop.
900  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $9,000 by the end of the year on: May 23, 2019, 10:26:23 PM
We are almost halfway of 2019 and Bitcoin is just $1,200 USD away from $9,000 USD. If the price of Bitcoin continues to move this fast as we have witnessed lately $9,000 USD can be achieved even before end of this year. Let us just hope that there is no negative news that will have a severe impact in the price to make those panic sellers sell again at very low price.
