883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change the password if your wallet is stored online on: March 14, 2014, 05:34:53 PM
Noticed an attack on my laptop from Ukraine (could have easily been one of many hops).

I suspect that since MtGox's database was hacked, they are going through accounts that had large withdraws and hitting IPs or e-mails.

I immediately moved all coins to cold storage.

Hell !! and how did ya noticed the attack being made please share so that i can get a check on my security too??? Shocked

And OP you kidding me who store wallets in dropbox.  Tongue
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reliable payment systems? on: March 14, 2014, 05:31:08 PM
considering your question the most reliable method for online payment will say credit card or bank wire transfer. Because i can't be cheated while doing the payment using my cc as i can chargeback in case of any fraud and in bank transfer atleast i would know the correct details about the person or the company !!! Don't know what others do prefer though Smiley
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Sales tax coming to Singapore. on: March 14, 2014, 05:26:28 PM
i don't think its true anyways where did you find that news from please post in the source and move this thread in the news section. Also i think the answer for this will be no one has to worry about any payable taxes except the exchanges atleast in my country   Wink
886  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crowdfunding for Personal Use? on: March 14, 2014, 05:21:13 PM
Alright firstly not considering it as a loan request, how much do you think a camera is going to cost??? as mentioned clearly you want to pursue your interest in it so surely don't need a high end very pro looking and specs camera at the start i guess!! search ebay for a used one instead if you have low budget. Also you can ask for a loan in the lending section providing the collateral as needed but you definitely don't need crowdfunding  to buy a camera. good luck
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: REQUEST: BTC Wallet on: March 14, 2014, 05:18:04 PM
It think most of the community if perfectly fine and happy with blockchain, cold storage, paper wallet, electrum being the storage for coins so no need for any so called real players to join in the game and yeah if something needs real pyalers to get in will be the exchanges !!!

890  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NEW WEBSITE on: March 13, 2014, 11:52:37 PM
Faucets are never legit, some might pay due to a certain time or at start just to win over the trust of people to ensure that more and more people start investing in them and once they get enough coins for their Christmas then they will just get lost in the winds !!! Cheesy Cheesy
891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Identity confirmation on: March 13, 2014, 11:51:15 PM

892  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie want help on: March 13, 2014, 11:47:31 PM
Look no one here is biased with a newbie account you can surely post in the lending section but taking the appropriate measures like providing the collateral of course should be equal or greater then the value of the loan needed always say yes for escrow cuz its for both buyers and sellers protection provide legitimate proofs if needed that's it and you will be all good to go trust me !!! good luck

This has been discussed many time on the forum so i would suggest OP to lock this thread  and just use the forum meta section for the answer and if OP is lazy to do that then just use the search button of the forum. Its always good to google and search forum before creating a new thread for help and questions !!! Smiley
897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help setting on: March 13, 2014, 11:22:23 PM
