Crypti capitalization is low enough that I can put in $100-$400, get a decent amount and be happy.  Why don't I do this?  Crypti offers less than NODE.

Less party gifs ?

Just be a better coin. Do more and do faster. Look at your community and customers, not on competitors.

I think one of the main reasons 70~ mil XCR is on BTER is because of the withdrawal fee at 1%

Can you talk to Lin to get him to remove it completely for a week when MP v2 opens then impose it again? Until then BTER is just holding coins hostage.
And with Mintpal opening for you people who want to trade there should be able to transfer freely in the start without a 1% fee to get markets and arbitrage going. And thus people wont be forging empty blocks either. And with windows wallet it will open up for many new forgers to join the project. You should make the best of this opportunity
Else it might end up as Cryptsy/Poloniex adds. Barely anybody transfers their coins there it's just held in BTER.

Lin shouldn't worry because those who trade on BTER will stay.

Having so much on a single exchange is bad for it overall imo

That makes sense.

Block explorer is suberb  Cool I really like it.

Next step is winwallet, redesign graphic, some advertising, custom blockchains and apps - I see a bright future!

Just a little patience.

Also, the wiki is offline for me.

Yes this is fine by me. Thanks... Smiley

Guys, what do you think is a good sum for a faucet?

I hit the faucets every day.   I usually spend a few hours twice a day,  earning about .2BTC per month.  I could earn more, but I have filtered out the sites that dont pay at least 100 satoshi per visit.   The quality of faucets varies considerably as well as the time allowed between visits.

I recommend that the XCR faucet be profitable.  The revenue from advertisers needs to be greater than the dispense to a visitor.  But also, the dispense has to be enough to get return visits, but not so much as to get click-slammers.

I would recommend the XCR equivalent of 100 satoshi.  Since XCR is now selling at 1500 satoshi, you would need .00150000 XCR per dispense.  As for timing between dispenses, I would recommend starting with 6 or 8 hours.  That way each visitor can make 2 or 3 visits a day.

Faucet is also a good place to setup an explanation and advertising of forging.

So people will go to faucet, get some coins, play with it, read about the forging and, I hope, some of them will buy 1000XCR and setup their own nodes  Wink

In other words, he will invest ICO money in the assets that he already owns and use investors money to pump his own assets and dump on buyers.

Thanks for info. Now it makes sence for me.

Crypti really needs to work on building of the community of forgers.
Like BTC has an "army" of miners, XCR must have thousands of forgers.
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypti - XCR - Ͼ - 3 PoS algorithms - Ed25519 - Next Gen New Source - Launched! on: September 13, 2014, 02:52:20 PM
You know, before investing I've read all the posts from all of the crypti team members, and from my point of view they doing everything right. And the fun part of it that they doing it no only right, but better then I myself can do. That's why I'm sure in safety of my investments.

So this thing with waiting of win wallet may be a good thing.

And in terms of money (and money equal freedom) I think it's a chance to get freedom.

It's a bit quiet in the thread  Cry

Are you guys planning BOOM/WOW/YEAH thing ?

My friend has a lot in this coin. I see why, I will consider buying it when I see the end product. Infancy state atm. but I like it.

I want third party code review done. I understand you want it closed it will yield you better success if you get ahead before people start cloning it.

Please get this done so I can get opinion on how innovative it is and what I'm buying.

I wonder how many days left for the Windows wallet, any ETA? There are lots of people who will join us when the windows wallet is ready I guess...

I'm eagerly waiting for it as well, I hate to have a lot of wealth locked at exchanges. Now if only we could persuade Bter to take their 1% of coins and ease withdrawal fee ...

I withdraw mine via wallet.crypti.me yesterday. You know, coins are not in wallet, they are in blockchain, so you just need wallet.crypti.me and good password to generate withdraw address.

Did you pay attention to NODE's opening market at Bter?
Do you consider it a flop or a success? Currently paying 140sats per node.

If your buy in price was below 140 sats it's a success. If you buy, for example, at 200 sats it's a flop.
So for guys who bought at 1 BTC per stake it's a flop.
