No BTC in not a bore subject. To be honest there is nothing we can do in the threads for countries only that is why we are working and having discussions about BTC and other alt coins in the subforums. This is the only reason you don't see much Pakistanis in these forums. The second reason is that there are not many Pakistanis who know about BTC. we have all experienced the bitter truth especially about the crypto market industry, you can see the current market conditions have not recovered and it seems we will see a delay of half the BTC, ETH dividing 2, and other big events this year. on the other hand the Corona virus is the main problem at the moment, so I don't think 2020 is the year we were hoping for.
Most of peoples was very happy about this 2020 because they was sure this bitcoin halving will change some fortunes for many but sadly this Corona thing hijack all and now this all is waiting for when things could be normal and we will able to have some good and positive things for all crypto community but surely this is going to take some good time as its not easy to be normal in near future. |

There are already many threads including this one on which we are online discussing cricket and gambling. What else do we need for discussion ? There is nothing more to discuss without a live cricket event.
And to be honest, all of these threads are generating a lot of spams. We barely have anything to discuss as this board is for gambling ddiscussion: we have made this as cricket discussion, football discussion; in a word, it's sport discussion. There's no more match these days, no more discussion. I would prefer to lockdown these cricket threads for a while. Its never been good idea because talking about cricket gambling or related to these topics is never been spam you can check all other threads related to soccer tennis and olympic games peoples enjoying to talk about this all as they need to spend more time and have good information about this all. |

If its a world-cup and an India vs Pakistan WC knockout game, virtual or not, you know it can go only one way..  I noticed that cricinfo is only showing old matches in which India had played and India had Won ... Oh Common...There are other good matches too in the history of ODI's. Suddenly few YouTube channels have popped up wherein they are also broadcasting old IPL matches and Indian matches where India has won. I guess they are cashing into the demand of cricket crazy nation under lockdown. You mean they are showing full 20 overs or 50 overs matches and not only the highlights ? Is this thing really working and people really enjoy watching the old match in full ? Very strange for me. @UmerIdrees StarSports never telecast matches in which Pakistan won because they have biggest market in India and this can hurt them very badly so right now they are telecasting all matches those won by India against Pakistan in World Cups TenSports Pakistan based channel it telecasting matches which are won by Pakistan in world cups and other events. |

With all due respect, You don't need to play victim card for starters. BCCI didn't attack the SriLankan team in pakistan, Taliban did! that's why Pakistan didn't get the hosting rights and ICC kicked them out because no team wanted to tour Pakistan and if you want to blame India for this then you are free to do so..
Who gets the WC rights or not? its not upto BCCI per se but ICC voting committee and bidding. I am all up for BCCI bashing anytime but i suggest please use better argument and keep emotions on check.
I agree with the last paragraph of your post. Let the hosting rights be decided on the basis of voting. In case Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh could make a joint bid, then they may get 3 assured votes (out of a total of 14?). If they could persuade Afghanistan by giving them the rights to host one or two games, then it gets to 4 out of 14. 4 more are needed and I don't think that it will be very difficult for them. They can get support from countries such as Ireland, if they are generous enough to allow a bilateral tour. There is a security issue in Afghanistan and the same is with Pakistan. These boards first need to convince other cricket playing nation that they are safe for their players before they decide to bid for a cricket tournament. Dear Friend please check all realities there is no comparison between Pakistan and Afghanistan situation Pakistan was facing some proxy war from USA, India and Afghanistan so just because of this all Pakistan was in War but now in recent years all is normal and its never been fair to compare these two countries in security issues as India is doing their best for terror attacks in Pakistan through Afghanistan as they have some strong background in this all which was some cleared by Pakistan as Kalbushan was arrested and now its in under control. |

The England Cricket Board is going to have some big problems in coming days and the same with the Australian Cricket Board. Like I have mentioned in other sports threads, the economy is going to play a big part in all sports after this virus is over, that's what we all should be worried about right now as we may see some sports teams never return after this, remember that money runs all the sports around the world and this has taken a big hit for many sports associations so we could see some not return.
Well... why should the sports players be given special treatment? Here in India, many of the states have asked the government employees to forfeit one month's salary. With the economy in deathbed, there is no other option. Private companies are laying off excess staff and millions are without a job now. I don't think that cricket players can be immune to all this. They need to forfeit some of their earnings. I am not sure how this can be done in India. People in my country are given the option to send few days salary to the coronavirus fund and not all of the salary is detected without permission. Since players have an yearly contract, so they will be paid what is in the contract, regardless of whether they have matches to play or not. As we’re discussing about wages I would like to bring to your attention that many big stars including Ronaldo has to take a pay cut due to this virus, and I believe that even big cricket stars will be forced to take a pay cut. I am sad about Afghanistan. There are millions of cricket fans there. Because of the security situation, the cricket board has moved the home matches to India and therefore 99.99% of the natives can't watch their team in action. What happened in Pakistan is very encouraging. The security situation has improved there and teams such as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are touring that country. I hope that the same can happen with Afghanistan as well. And regarding BCB's reliance on BCCI, the situation may change in future. If BCCI had so much power and influence, then why couldn't they stop the Bangladeshis from touring Pakistan? They try their best but Bangladesh was losing points and facing some other fines as well so they do this tour still on official level both governments have not good relationship for long time. |

^^ PCB was trying hard for Asia Cup but BCCI already shoot them down for obvious reason and they are not going to visit there anytime soon so we can rule this possibility out.
For ICC tournament one possibility seems manageable if any 3 subcontinent countries bids for joint hosting rights? for ex; Ban-SL-Pak ? then Pakistan can host few WC games.
Well.. why not? IMO, it may be an excellent idea for PCB, SLCB and BCB to make a joint bid for the major ICC tournaments. BCCI is extremely powerful and they don't need to make a joint bid. But that is not the case with these countries (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan). In case they could bid successfully, then I would really like to have one or two matches being staged in Afghanistan and Nepal as well. That can give a huge boost to the popularity of cricket in these nations. I doubt srilanka and Bangladesh cricket board will go against Indian cricket board. What ever you are thinking will only be possible if BCCI gives a nod to ICC and other boards, which I am sure will never happen.
PCB has more internal politics than any other board. They had one good opportunity but they lost it because of covid19.
BCCI can't or won't do anything about it because Its all comes to bidding and voting so its very possible scenario. The only thing BCCI can do is bid like rest of the cricketing nations. Its same process for any country who wants to host the WC, already happened countless times. 1987 - India + Pakistan 1992 - Australia + New Zealand 1996 - India + Pakistan+Bangladesh(not sure) and list goes on... That was history. There has been no world cup hosted in Pakistan in the 21th century and even if ICC decide to host another worldcup in subcontinent, i am sure they will not allow the matches to be played in Pakistan as BCCI will try to enforce it too. I even think that Bangladesh and Srilanka wont get any matches to host too. Edit: Just googled and found that 2023 Cricket World Cup will only be held in INDIA Now ICC is not International Cricket Council its Indian Cricket Council because they are giving big part of revenue and Indian Board never allow any good thing happen to PCB or Pakistan so any even here in Sub-Continent without India is not possible even never happy Asia Cup played in Pakistan so currently talking about any thing related to this is just waste of time. |

Yes this can extended because government cannot handle this all and want some serious and big trouble around Pakistan like Civil War so surely this is going to extended. |
