881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbies can't profit from crypto without knowing how to trade. Truth or Myth? on: July 27, 2023, 11:31:29 AM
I overheard my coworkers discussing the idea that new investors in crypto cannot make profits without possessing trading skills. I would like to initiate a discussion on whether this claim is true or false. In my view, this belief is a false notion that is spread by individuals who want to discourage those who are curious about investing in crypto. What is your perspective on this topic?

Guys, I mean what other ways can newbies benefit from crypto investment without having to be a day trader or a professional trader. Because I believe there are other ways to earn aside from trading.
it's not a myth but a fact, how can you make a profit in trading without basic knowledge of trading itself, don't say that trading is a scam even though you are wrong yourself, you don't have the capability to trade.  You can do it self-taught, but it takes decades for you to have good skills in training, so you should try to read the basic knowledge of trading first, try trading with a demo account before really playing with your real money, don't underestimate this easy thing because if you fail to build your trading instincts from the start, you will never make a profit from trading forever.

To me these forum is like a news channels because it has almost all the sectors were you could get information about crypto, economics, and Local Board which comprises of different countries sharing information about their country through there local boards.

I believe that through this forum so many persons has achieved something, please the floor is yours to share your knowledge and experience on how the forum has helped you in one way or the other.
first of all, this forum really changed my life, my knowledge about crypto and some other important information majority i got from this forum, it's true as you said that this forum is not like other forums which eventually died because of not being able to maintain loyal users inside and also does not have long benefits for the members who are there while this forum has quite a lot of sections where you can get bitcoin or altcoins for free through campaigns or charades in the games & rounds section.  don't be lazy and continue to actively contribute to this forum because the benefits are invaluable.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Bitcoins to never gamble again. Will you take it? on: July 26, 2023, 06:00:13 PM
Hey fellow gamblers, I don't know if this question has been asked before on this forum. If it has , please let me know and I will lock it and move it to archival.

My question is this, if you were given 5 Bitcoins to never gamble again for the rest of your life, will you take it? Considering that first you will already be rich or the prospect of getting rich is high from it. And also if you play your cards right by investing the 5 Bitcoin properly, it could also mean generational wealth. Or will you say that 5 Bitcoins can't match the thrill and pleasure that comes from gambling, be it at a physical casino or an online casino.
imo there are only two types of gamblers who would refuse those 5 BTC
  • people who have good skills in skill gambling games and can generate hundreds of thousands of dollars will definitely not take the 5 BTC.
  • people who are already very rich and can make money without having to work like drake definitely won't take the 5 BTC

while i still make money from my hard work then i will take the 5 BTC and leave gambling (even though my goal is to gamble for entertainment but 5 BTC is really good money for me to be able to grow my business lol)
884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A opinion on regrets on: July 26, 2023, 05:27:29 PM
We regret about missing Bitcoin, then about XRP then about Ethereum then Doge then Shiba then Pepe (these are some top of my head and from what I've come across in my crypto term).

Point being there are always new opportunities and dwelling on regrets is futile.

you shouldn't regret things that shouldn't be regretted because it's all out of your control, now i ask, if you regret it now then will you immediately know what crypto assets will be pumped again in the future? of course not..right

the pumping that occurs in dogecoin, shiba inu and pepe is purely the result of speculation and it is so different from the pumping that occurs in bitcoin that you cannot include it in the comparison list.
what you should be doing right now is continuing to hone your analytical and technical skills in your trading, or you can also try joining a signal pumping group (not so i suggest), basically just do what you can do right now to try to read the token opportunities that will be pumping in the future rather than regretting the past.
885  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Active members are promoting Bitcoin mixers, betting or casino. Lmao. on: July 26, 2023, 04:30:57 PM
Just joined BitcoinTalk forum and I must say, I'm quite surprised to see that it has turned into a place where 50% of the forum active members are promoting Bitcoin mixers, betting or casinos. Was hoping for more discussions on the technology and its possibilities.
how can you think that what the majority of members are doing here is a mistake (because of promoting bitcoin mixers and casinos), instead you should be grateful that there are lots of bitcoin mixers and casinos promoting their business in this forum.  alluding to technology, well all technology is discussed in this forum, not only blockchain and bitcoin technology but also cars, virtual reality and even quantum computers (you just have to type it in the search button then you will find everything discussed in this forum)

A close look at this situation shows that many of these overpopulated nations mostly in Africa and Asia are underdeveloped. While these underpopulated nations are economically buoyant. I think the reason for the poverty of these developing nations is not the population but bad governance and the inability to maximize and distribute available resources equally.  We cannot deny the fact that these overpopulated nations are economically important to these developed nations in terms of human resources. And they contribute immensely to the development of these first-world nations in terms of cheap labour.

How do you think these developed nations will fill vacancies in their nations and get cheap labor if the population of these developing nations is reduced?
limiting the birth rate will only worsen the situation of the country's population in the future, just look at how Japan and Singapore have suppressed birth rates, currently their country lacks productive age, this is what encourages developed countries that are underpopulated to make it easier for citizens of productive age who come from other countries to enter their country and provide decent and well-paid jobs.

Instead of reducing birth rates, what governments in developed countries should do is spread their population evenly and encourage productive-age citizens to rebuild cities that have begun to be abandoned, large populations never destroy a country, instead it adds to the strength of the country.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria continuous banning of crypto on: July 25, 2023, 04:04:57 PM

The reason why people are diving into the online world in search of opportunities to earn money is the lack of job opportunities within the country, the population might have some minor effects on the unemployment rate but that isn't the main reason for it, if the government tries harder to generate more jobs and get more people employed, they wouldn't face many issues, but instead of doing that, they are doing everything they can to close down the ways people use to earn money.

The government of Nigeria should have supported this because this could solve the problem of unemployment and possibly reduce poverty within the country but they have been against the movement and the most obvious reason for that is that they don't want people to become independent.
you are wrong, the level of population density greatly affects the available jobs especially if the country has citizens who are the majority of productive age (currently Nigeria has a population of more than 200 million people) but there are quite a lot of good things about population density that occur such as competition is getting tougher and business ideas are popping up, government intervention is actually very much needed to eradicate the lack of jobs and on this side, i am quite surprised by the government's rejection of cryptocurrency instead of using it to help citizens and reduce unemployment rates.

based on a survey that i read, currently 99% of citizens are horrified to know cryptocurrency, that is truly an extraordinary result and it is not impossible that in the future Nigeria will become a country on the African continent that has the largest crypto investors (however the rules set by the government are never absolute)

I understand that my frustration might be due to the fact that I am coming from a very privileged position. What are your thoughts on this?
why do you have to be frustrated with what you can't control, you can't make everyone have the understanding and belief in bitcoin as you have now, just let people open their hearts to bitcoin slowly even though it will take years to come.  the current generation, the majority of whom still close their hearts to bitcoin, will be replaced by a generation that certainly has a more modern rationale, so actually giving the bitcoin doctrine must start from small children (you can start from the children around you maybe), slowly but surely people will have great curiosity about bitcoin.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers Belief on: July 24, 2023, 05:50:39 PM
If you want to see a person full of hope and belief, then gamblers are the perfect example. The hope of winning and the belief to win is found in gambling. Even if you tell them that gambling is risky and the result may come out differently (not in his favor), they refuses to accept it and have 100% belief that they will win at any cost.

This type of belief and commitment is not found in any other walk of life. People doing business or spending money somewhere have doubt and fear that things can do against them, and they may face loss too but the gamblers are so firm in their belief that they never look at the other side of the picture. They want the win, and they 100% know in their subconsciousness that they will win. that is the reason they will never hesitate to put money into gambling.

We are not talking about the result which comes later on, once they gamble. They may lose too but the passion and belief of winning among the gamblers can't be seen anywhere else.
is there any in-depth research on this topic of yours?

why do you generalize everything into one conclusion, fear must be possessed by gamblers because fear is one of human nature but self-confidence masks that fear.  people might think when i gamble, i'm not afraid of losing money but to be honest in my heart, i'm very afraid of losing money when gambling because getting money is a difficult thing nowadays but my confidence covers it especially in gambling which i'm very good at so the defeats i receive are very few.
891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Abuse ... on: July 24, 2023, 09:09:13 AM

what do you think about this?
Do you agree that gambling outside what gambling is meant for is abuse on gambling?
If you agree, what do you think should be done to gambling abusers if there was a way to catch them?
Should they be arrested and prosecuted same way drug abusers are arrested and prosecuted if caught?

Lets have a discussion.

Disclaimer: I am not a doctor or pharmacist, I know nothing about drugs, all I said concerning Tramadol is solely based on my personal use and experience with the drug, in medical terms, I could be wrong with the description of the drug.
there is a misunderstanding that some people have about gambling, people gamble for various reasons, i don't think that those who gamble for money are a mistake (gambling abuse), that is their reason for gambling because without a monetary prize, they will not be interested in gambling, from several discussions, the reasons people do gamble are 3; it is for money, for entertainment and to make friends cmiiw then it is important for you to find your reasons for gambling and also be a responsible gambler so you don't turn into someone who is addicted to gambling because of the 3 reasons above.

US Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announces plan to back the US dollar with Bitcoin. Do your think it is a good idea?
source: https://www.thestreet.com/cryptocurrency/rfk-jr-announces-plan-to-back-dollar-with-bitcoin-end-bitcoin-taxes

Quote
In the United States, presidential decisions are not absolute. The United States government system is based on the principle of separation of powers known as "checks and balances". This is intended to prevent abuse of power by one branch of government. The branch of government in the United States is divided into three, namely:
- Executive: Headed by the president
- Legislature: Consists of a Congress which consists of two bodies, namely the Senate and the House of Representatives.
- Judiciary: It is an independent court system presided over by the Supreme Court

according to Google, the desire of the US president is not that easy to happen, there must be agreement from various parties to legitimize all the wishes of the president, but seeing from the high enthusiasm of the citizens of the USA for bitcoin, it is not impossible that when kennedy jr served as president of the USA then bitcoin will become a backup dollar, changes continue to occur as long as 2 of 3 USA stakeholders demand approval of bitcoin as a backup dollar then it will happen, but the IMF, world bank, wall street, and the Rothschild family will definitely thwart this desire and when it will be easy to legalize bcause USA is a big country that really influences the world.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: July 24, 2023, 07:56:30 AM
I really dont see Feyenoord maintaning the level, more thinking about they are gonna play Champions League and for me they lack that form necesary to be a good contender to reach at least UEL or 16 teams round.

PSV its a group of good players but they dont have any real connection.

If ajax find their path they are gonna win the league again.
Arne Slot succeeded in making Feyenoord a strong team even as a result of Feyenoord's success, Ligue 1 (France League) was eliminated from the 5 major world leagues and moved by the Eredivise league, currently ranked 5th (because no team from Ligue 1 has managed to progress further in UCL and UEL)

no drastic changes have occurred to the Feyenoord squad and also the management is quite stable so that the chance for Feyenoord to return to becoming the Eredivisie champion next season is quite large, Feyenoord's achievements last season were extraordinary, they were almost perfect.
894  Economy / Economics / Re: Fast Transportation Makes Economic Turnover Faster on: July 24, 2023, 07:16:34 AM
This is what happen in our country, the transportation delivery of goods fo example takes days to arrive and some are being sent to cartel. People also who works outside the province takes 2-4hrs before they reach their offices I experienced this kind of things and commuting everyday is much harder than your work sometimes. Government should take action to these because it will improve the quality of the transaction or people and it will decrease cost of fuel usage and as well as the time.
in developing world countries, transportation is a very crucial thing, even when there is a delay in delivery, the price will immediately soar high, so apart from the infrastructure that must be the concern of the government, the means of transportation must also be paid attention to by the government.

(a little off-topic) in Germany itself, environmental activists are incessantly boycotting oil, they are even quite desperate to stop busy traffic, the government is obliged to protect everyone's rights, and as citizens, we have the right to get comfort in transportation and also means of supporting transportation.

You know, it's a long time to get to that point. The maximum that we will be able to see in the near future is friendly matches between Saudi league clubs and European clubs, because by definition they do not qualify for the European Cup. Will they build something of their own, similar to the European cups? Also an interesting question
i noticed that the Arab League is trying to build branding that is on par with the European League because many of the Saudi Arabian teams are currently buying top players in the European League at very high prices, will this phenomenon stop? i'm sure it won't be because there will be more and more teams in the Arab League who buy Europe's top players, the very shocking news is that Sadio Mane continues to be linked with Al Nassr, if Mane officially moves to the Arab League then all the attention of football fans will be on the Arab League.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Stop Gambling Even If You're Doing Great If This Happens To You on: July 23, 2023, 09:05:18 PM
You are doing great in sports betting you Are wining a good sum and you are on the way mastering a good method in sports betting finally you have come to a point that all the years of perseverance is paying off then you're rich father  decides that he will disinherit you if you do not stop gambling because he thinks that money that you are going to inherit will just vanish because of your addiction to gamble you will have to stop gambling for a minimum of five years.
You are going to inherit amount that you cannot win in sports betting possibly multi million

Will you explain to him that you are doing great and you are not a compulsive gambler
Will just stop gambling  and be practical and get that multi million inheritance
You'll just go on with your passion and just forget the money that your father will give to you as inheritance.

Let's discuss this scenario is possible
everyone's perception is different, i have always been not someone who really expects money from my parents' inheritance, i am independent enough to make money so i will prefer gambling activities that i have fully mastered rather than choosing inheritance from my parents.  my chances of getting more money from gambling that i am good at are quite large (i am very inspired by professional gamblers who can make a lot of money), it's not good to live under other people's control and rules even though it's both parents.
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy now or I should still wait for the dip? on: July 23, 2023, 07:53:10 PM
my advice is to buy bitcoin regularly from now on (as is done by microstrategy) if necessary, use the DCA method.

To What Extent Bitcoin Price Will go for the Bear Market
Bitcoin start the year 2023 with a good price and the price in in this year is much more better than last year 2022 and those who invested last year 2023 would not say that this year do does not favour them. And we have spent 7 month in this year and the price of bitcoin right now is $30,277 that is, the price is sliding down compare to last week. So where do you think the price of bitcoin will end for the bear market before this year will end?

To What Extent Bitcoin Price Will go for the Bull Market
As it is said, bitcoin price rised to $20+k from late last year after the bear market and in  this year the price rises to $31k, so what is your speculation on the price before the end of the year?
market sentiment towards the ever-changing rules that are being carried out by the government towards bitcoin continues to influence the price and investor interest in bitcoin.  but the history of bitcoin prices will not stray far from the prices that will be achieved by bitcoin next, apart from that for the possibility of the lowest bitcoin price this year, i don't think whether the bearish market will occur again later because we will face a halving.

Of course, if you enter without any knowledge, there is no problem, on the contrary, everything must be seen in a positive way, since although errors are learning opportunities, a review of, at least:

*how the cryptocurrency market works
*The volatility
*when to invest or sell
*Consider your level of risk and the amount to invest, among other aspects.

I think this would help you make more informed decisions and increase your chances of success in the exciting world of cryptocurrencies, believe me that this world opens the doors to a world of possibilities... Good post friend

often the good things that happen to us come from accidental or also ignorance, this is the reason why each person's sustenance is different and will always be a mystery,

(a litte oot) i still remember very well that there was a young man who accidentally collected dogecoin from faucets and others up to several million coins and when the price of dogecoin rose almost to touch $ 1, he became very rich in a short time.

bitcoin will always make unexpected things, so it's very important for everyone to start investing in bitcoin from now on slowly, surely your life will change 180 degrees in the future.

Now let's take this to a discuss; how correct is this statement? And is there any similar statement like that in your home-country that's popularly used among gamblers to encourage themselves from quiting gambling because they're losing?
Or would you allow your decision to quit gambling to be affected by any popular statement among your fellow gamblers or it's a no no thing for you?
i don't know the conditions in other countries, but in our country the lottery is something that is quite passionate about, some people have even used the lottery for decades in the hope that one day they can win a big jackpot, for some types of gambling games i quite agree with the phrase "if you stop then you lose", even so, don't let that sentence make us become gambling addicts, that is a serious thing, this sentence was made only to encourage people who often gamble and quite a lot have also proven themselves that's why they keep on gambling.

It is his first game of the season and it is normal that he comes in from the bench. He made a good debut for Inter Miami but still this tournament dosent mean much. They didnt win in a longtime and when Messi arrived he won the their first game in a long time. I dont know what kind of an impact will the other ex barcelona players have because all of them are really old and still i wonder how much all of them will play.
messi is a very naturally talented player, wherever he is, surely the team will immediately perform brilliantly, i saw the free-kick goal that was entrusted to Messi, it was really beautiful, even many media did not stop showing that beautiful goal.  inter miami's 2-1 victory over cruz azul really raised the enthusiasm of the inter miami supporters who had gone down, inter miami was really lucky to have messi in the team.  Messi's presence in MLS will surely make football in the United States improve drastically gradually.
