882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Dropping ? How can I Protect The Value Of My Bitcoin. on: November 07, 2014, 04:07:23 AM
Its is so amazing how many people are so under-educated on how investments work. Bitcoins are no longer in their infancy its the idiots using bitcoins that are the infants. Sorry to be so blunt. but as I have watched and searched its amazing how many people see one thing TRADABLE CASH VALUE, but in their blindness they do not see how many other ways they can turn Bitcoin into cash without selling them off to an exchange.

Most people have probably already invested over 50% of their wealth into Bitcoin (serious Bitcoiners)

My point exactly.

Lets take an average number here 50% of their wealth on a 5 year average persons net means roughly $250,000 dollars (serious Bitcoin Investors) if they bought in even at 100 dollars a coin that is still 2500 coins. I can turn that 2500 Bitcoins into over 5000 Bitcoins in a month. So you serious bitcoiners ask yourself can you do that, is sitting there watching the price of bitcoins go up and down getting you the return you desired? I have been in this industry less than a year, I have a 3 month ROI on the machines I buy (most everyone else has a 6 month to 8 month ROI) I came from Forex trading and building and selling businesses to this. And like I said it is truely sad to see how many (serious bitcoiners) can not see past their hand in front of their face. I am sorry to be so blunt but truth is truth my friends. I have this horrible image that most of the serious bitcoiners got in while the getting was good and now it seems they are just sitting on these coins, sitting watching and waiting like some wallstreet brat who thinks if he buys a stock and allows the company to do all the work he will get rich in the end. This is not the stock market, if we as investors dont do what needs to be done, and we all sit on our wallets and watch the price, we will never make the returns we want. Im just saying if we dont do it, the developers sure are not. It seems their one track minds are concentrated on people and companies using the coins, which at this point is not helping bitcoins value only its awareness. what I see in this industry is a whole lot of sitting around watching and waiting, no one actually (serious) about anything.

And here is just some proof

Best way is to keep buying so you lower the average you paid for your bitcoin so you minimize losses  Cool

who is spreading strange advices like this? I read it all the time

what is better?

a)
you bought 1 BTC at $1.000
begins to fall, so you "lower average", 1 BTC at 800
continues to fall , so you "lower average", 1 BTC at 600
continues to fall , so you "lower average", 1 BTC at 400
continues to fall , so you "lower average", 1 BTC at 200
continues to fall , so you "lower average", 1 BTC at 100
you got 6 BTC for $700 avarege ($3100 total)

WORST CASE (never comes back): you lose over $3.000

b)
you bought 1 BTC at $1.000
begins to fall, so you sell 1 BTC at 800 (lost 200)
it falls below $100, comes back, and starts a trend on daily, you buy BTC 29 at $100 ($3100-200=$2900)

WORST CASE (never comes back): you lose $200

Well you considered that if you bought at 1,000 which was the peak so anyone buying at that level is a complete idiot... regardless who the hell can only afford $100 of risk?! In the bitcoin world a quick couple hundred dollar movement is not uncommon so why even play this game if you can't double up when you're down $500/coin

...lets be serious here, you don't know how to trade...

As you can see and much like fewcoins pointed out traders are just completelty ignorant to what they are doing. We have so many infants, people so stupid they jumped in trying to play the wallstreet games but knew nothing about wallstreet. To even put numbers like this person put only shows exactly how stupid he really is. The pattern he shows in his example is a full proof definition of how NOT TO TRADE. in investment schools this is the examples they use to show you what not to do when trading.

FYI the basic trick in trading is to buy low and sell high, not buy high and hope to sell higher HAHAHA.
883  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Syntax12 tried to scam me for .14btc on: November 07, 2014, 03:18:21 AM
HAHA I like the part where you said maybe you should pay him something because in the end he gave you something you could actually use. I would send him 100,000 satoshi for his  article in the comics section of Dailysatoshi. Hehe

In addition I can only imagine what an article written by bhimn would actually look like. His english WOW. He would need to pay someone 0.05 BTC to proofread each article he writes before submitting it HAHAHA
884  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for writers for a news site! (Earn .05 per article!) on: November 07, 2014, 03:11:15 AM
I just submitted another article for your approval. This one could be very useful to a lot of people actually. more people need this information. It was about ways you can get the cash value for your bitcoins without selling them on the direct market. By selling Bitcoins on the market we dump them forcing the price and value of them against cash down. if we can find and use ways other than this to get the cash value from our Bitcoins we can keep the value strong while still getting the cash we need. I hope this article gets approved Smiley Not so much for the payment (I like getting paid to tho) but more so for the information a lot of people need.

EDITED the OP adds his own pictures Smiley
885  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for writers for a news site! (Earn .05 per article!) on: November 05, 2014, 12:12:18 AM
I have sent in another article for approval. I will gladly keep my fingers crossed. Smiley

did he approved your first article? did he paid ?
Yes he approved my first article. He has approved 3 of my articles, but not all of my articles. (AND that is ok, i do not mind rejection haha) and he has his payment clearly marked. If his payment does not come when he has agreed to pay us, I am sure you will know on here. By submitting articles to him I agreed to write for his site, and what i submit is my own work, he agreed to pay me at the time he specified. I will now continue to write articles for him KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED in hopes he will accept them, and wait until the time he promised to pay us and see what happens.

Personally I like his payment system, much like a job you do not get paid for your work the day you do it, so It is ok for me. I also like the fact it will not be many transaction for a person like me trying to get 1 or 2 articles a day approved, I wont have a bunch of transactions posting but one for the week. SO for me his payment system is nice as well.

I have to say he has a range of payments 0.01 to 0.05 and he is fair in his assessment of payment as well. He does not pay you 0.05 all the time, he does not npay you 0.01 all the time, he pays you what the article is worth to his site and that is fair.

886  Economy / Services / Re: need someone to buy something from alibaba on: November 04, 2014, 11:57:35 PM
I'd buy 10 of these in size 34" (so I could wear a "uniform" in everyday life) if I could get them for $100 period, but I don't think volume pricing works that way. And wouldn't I get dinged at customs for being an "importer" even though I wouldn't sell them unless they were too stained for me to wear?

http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Active-Men-Khaki-Deluxe-Utility-Fashion_164054503.html

the Alibaba staff are very helpful they will write on the customs forms usually whatever you want to limit your customs charges as best as possible. Your order limits are buying 10 and then buying 5000 a month, so this particular seller has set themselves up as a supplier/distributor. Have you found this anywhere else on Alibaba or even better on Aliexpress. Most of the companies on Alibaba does not use an escrow system, they want you to western union them a bunch of money and hope they will send you what you paid for. I like the sister site of Alibaba called Ali Express. they have an escrow system that if the seller does not send the product you can deny payment. then your payment will be returned to your Ali-express wallet to be used with another supplier.

Either way it does not matter to me, what is it you want me to do. You want me to order the product and have it shipped here to me, then change the forms and things and ship it to you like as a gift or something to avoid Customs charges thinking your a re-seller of this product? Where I am from if you list it as a donation it usually does not incurr any Customs duties or fees. that may be an idea for you Smiley With the product being clothes this fit right in and not seem any different than a donation gift.
887  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Corporate Bank Accaunt on: November 04, 2014, 11:39:56 AM
why does the bank even have to know what your business is doing. I have opened a few business bank accounts, and none of them asked me what my business was or what it involved, i turned in the EIN and my SSN and they gave me an account number. no questions, no problems. I could have been selling crack for all they knew.

But maybe list the business as a computer networking business or even better a data processing center. problem solved and you are not lieing in either case.
888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015? on: November 04, 2014, 11:36:13 AM
No it would be virtually impossible for Bitcoins to hit 10,000 dollars anytime in 2015. I personally dont think bitcins will ever hit 10,000 USD but thats just me. We will be very lucky to see bitcoins hit 1000 dollars again much less 10,000 dollars. A lot of real work would need to take place in order for this coin to hit 1000 dollars again. Work that seemingly is not being done at all.
889  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about private key & if my bitcoin adress is safe to use? on: November 04, 2014, 11:31:43 AM
Why not get a wallet address that has not been encrypted then once you get the address (wallet.dat) encrypt it yourself with a key he has never seen. It seems much more logical. why he needs to generate a key at all is confusing to me, why not just generate the wallet address export the wallet.dat file and then allow the new owner of the address to encrypt it himself (UNLESS) he does plan on stealing the bitcoins from that address.
890  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Pay bills using BTC - Australia on: November 04, 2014, 09:25:36 AM
FINALLY someone with a brain in their head for investments.

Thank yu so much for being the first person in almost a year I have seen in this forum with an idea that has the potential to increase a true demand for Bitcoins. If I were Australian i would so sign up for your services. This is a great idea especially the bill pay options. I wish you the best of the best of luck with this project as this is exactly what Bitcoins needs.

I think the Bitcoin developers should donate 1000 bitcoins since this project is a sure fire way to secure a demand and raise true awareness of its usage.

Haha you have just made the bubble lovers so very happy HAHA

Unfortunately the true stats this year are not following the same routine and will not.

Last year ( and all the previous years) China did not own 1/3 of the hashrates of Bitcoin mining, last year there were not as many merchants dumping coins. the only thing that could save this bubble theory is if people wake up and realize the value of sending bitcoins to their friends and family from other countries, how sending bitcoins saves both parties a lot of transaction fees as well as exchange rate fees the wire transfer places charge. That would be the only thing that could bring this kind of response to Bitcoins value this year.
893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Dropping ? How can I Protect The Value Of My Bitcoin. on: November 04, 2014, 08:41:10 AM
just hold, or buy some in low price and sell, it can cover losses.
but the problem is if we invest in bitcoin mining, it is not profitable with the current price  Cry

As a bitcoin miner I can tell you it is still profitable mining bitcoins, as a good bitcoin miner I can also tell you there is much more to Bitcoins than Mining Bitcoins themselves, if you mine Bitcoins thru a pool, you will make double your costs even at the present conditions of bitcoins. If you do what i do you can make 2 to 4 times as many BTC with your machines.

It is easy to read and belive what you read, it even more easy to spread the disbelief and crap you see. Its hard to make the investment and see the results for yourself.

Simple conclusion do not believe everything you read, and most certainly do not take anything in the mining section of this forum as good advice. I have found a lot of miners on here know nothing about mining, and even less about bitcoins, they make one wrong move one big mistake and lose their butt and spread lies about how mining is not profitable. If its not those people its the greedy selfish miners who want it all for themselves so they tell you its not profitable, then you tell your friends who tell their friends.

Why would they do this, very simple common sense and the most basic of logic. I am a miner I see the price dropping like flies, if I see you are looking to invest in either buying bitcoins or buying machines to mine I know i want and need the price to rise, if you buy machines your just gonna dump the coins, that will not increase the value, so If I advise you to buy bitcoins and you advise 10 people who advise 10 people who advise 10 people to just buy bitcoins and not mining equipment I have just secured an increase in my bitcoins and I can sell them for more this week than i did last week.

If there is absolutely anything I have learned about the members of this Forum, very VERY few members are here to help you, nor do they care about you, heck most of them do not even care about Bitcoins, they care about one thing making money, not making bitcoins, making money. Remember this as you scour around and research about bitcoins. Do your own diligent research take nothing you read anywhere as truth. I ignored everything I read and went at it myself. and I have a ROI of 3 months on the machines I bought. Thats right folks I have paid my machines off in 3 months, not 6 not 8 I paid them off and now have a return on their purchase price in 3 months flat. So to be quite honest look at my posts how many do I have, then look at people who have 2000+ posts telling you its not profitable, you cant get a return blah blah blah, then ask yourself if a noob who researches and does good can get a 3 Month ROI what does this tell you about a veteran miner who cant?
894  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Dropping ? How can I Protect The Value Of My Bitcoin. on: November 04, 2014, 06:44:24 AM
If you are a true investor, the best thing to do when the Bitcoins price drops is buy buy buy. add to the coins you already have in storage and lower your overall investment costs.

DEFINE

You buy 100 BTC @ 600 dollars

Price drops to 300 dollars

you then buy 200 BTC @ 300 dollars

Overall cost of each BTC for this investment 400 dollars per BTC

ADDITION TO SCENARIO:

Price rises back to 1BTC @ 1000 dollars

Profit on selling off your complete investment $180,000.00

OR buy a nice vacation condo in Spain and make cash value for that investment every month or maybe even every week.

895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: November 04, 2014, 06:32:17 AM
Bitcoin will not last forever
I predict Bitcoin will not be able to compete with fiat currency that has been widely circulated among all the people of the world, not a guaranteed value of the Bitcoin makes the price move is not fair. In my opinion, the increase in the value of Bitcoin significantly in recent times due to the act of the speculators that applies in a very irrational, it can happen even in economics assumed all humans are rational beings. This is because there is a psychological side of human in making decisions, in this condition will continue to act greedy speculators in
profit-taking but forget to pay attention to the fundamentals of Bitcoin itself, the attitude of the Chinese Government against Bitcoin should be
wake up call for the speculators to stop pursuing profits from this trade. Although the existence of Bitcoin will not last long, but this situation should the financial institution's need to realize that the increasingly dynamic society requires a more dynamic pattern of transactions anyway, and one way to produce a more dynamic transaction system is to use electronic money or e money
. Unlike the virtual currency , This commodity is money fiat currency is converted in the form of non-cash or less cash
addition will facilitate economic activity will also encourage greater economic growth as a result of the circulation of money faster....

HAHA i have to say yur post intrigued me, especially this part
the attitude of the Chinese Government against Bitcoin should be
wake up call for the speculators to stop pursuing profits from this trade

Lets look farther nto this statement.

China forces all of its Bitcoin investors to sell off their bitoinc in the anticipation of the release of their technology company Alibaba openng up for trading on the public market. This was not to destroy Bitcoins but to secure the ownership of their technological company ALIBABA. Now if we go to Alibaba we will see more than 30% of the sellers on there have what?? Thats right folks BITCOIN MINING EQUIPMENT, and over 70% of thier sister site Aliexpress have sellers with mining equipment for sale. If we add this to the newest competition pool against Ghash.io Discuss Pool we see that china is actually making HUGE astronomical profits off bitcoin right now, they manufacture the mining equipment, mine with it for months before they sell it to us. The chinese government is not against Bitcoins and its usage they are against a financial system they can not control, but they surely have not had a problem with reaping the profits of bitcoin in any way.
896  Economy / Services / Re: Quality Cheap Web Design,Logo Design Services and more... on: November 04, 2014, 06:15:03 AM
How extensive are your services? If I get a VPS and purchase a website, how much will you charge to set the website up as a mining pool connected to the VPS solomining Bitcoins. The website can be very simple and plain (even A template) except I need it to show hashrates for members and their workers. THIS WILL NOT BE A PUBLIC POOL. I will not be advertising it, I will not be accepting outside members. This pool is for me and my friends only. So i need it to be able to set up members but complexity it not important, how it looks also not important, all i care about is we can sign up, sign in and each of our workers shows a hashrate with an overall combined hashrate. no graphs necessary a simple number by each worker will be fine

EX.
Member.worker1   1028GHS
Member.worker2     980GHS
Member.worker3    2058GHS

If you can a nice 5 minute average 30 minute average and 1 hour average would be nice.

Please let me know the total price if you offer hosting services and VPS services let me know what those are as well.

I have an account on Aliexpress which is an escrow account for members of Alibaba. I also have an account on Alibaba as well. What is it you need ordered form Alibaba that you can not order yourself?
898  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for writers for a news site! (Earn .05 per article!) on: November 04, 2014, 06:00:18 AM
I have sent in another article for approval. I will gladly keep my fingers crossed. Smiley
899  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for writers for a news site! (Earn .05 per article!) on: November 04, 2014, 03:54:38 AM
I sent you an article, if you like it and approve it I will send more in a progression of Bitcoins. Once you read my article you can better understand what i mean.

Your payout seems fair, I have to say I have seen more pessimistic opinions in this bitcointalk forum than I have ever seen anywhere else. You write one article,l if your such a great writer then you should be confident in your work like you are your own view of your skills, if its that great I am sure it will get approved. If not whoopdy do move on either write another in hopes its what hes looking for or move on to the next pay per click site and earn some coins there.

Just because YOU think your writing is magnificent does not mean the article you write is what he needs or is looking for. I am sure he has a budget, if he paid 0.05 BTC for every article, logically think about it, how much would he be paying out and how much of the articles would he honestly be using. every sophomore in high school would be writing articles for him, then turning them into their advanced english teachers as a essay assignment the next morning.

I just wish jmore people in this site would be more open minded and logical about what they post.

Not our fault that he set it up in the fashion that he did. I don't look at myself as the world's most prolific talent when it comes to the art of writing, but I do find myself valuing my time a lot more than what this guy thinks it is worth. So I write an article that has anything to do with Bitcoin, email it, and then cross my fingers that it fancies his interest enough to pay me? The diligent writers have every right to be pessimistic. Great writers know their value and don't accept anything below that. They also don't limit themselves to a quantitative amount of words, either.

Anyone that would send in their precious time and just hope that time would be deemed valuable, needs to stop writing.

No offense intended here but I Often say exactly what I see.

It seems you feel like the world owes you something. Tell me as a new applicant for a job do you not spend time in filling out an application, going to the interview process that could take up to 3 interview meetings depending on the company you want a job with? Do you not sit at home with your fingers crossed in hopes they will accept your application for work? That is exactly what you do, I know because my wife just did it for a job she doesn't even really need, 1 week interview process, doctors exams and a list of other stuff I could not believe just to get a job.

In addition I see you are not a very educated writer in your own industry. I am not a full time writer, I love to write, I love to spread my opinion But this is not my career. But ask yourself how many writers spends months even years writing a book just to send that manuscript into a publisher .. and then what? What is it they do next... Thats correct they sit and wait with their fingers crossed in hopes one of the publishing companies they sent their work into will accept it and print it.

I think you need to remove that chip off your shoulder, realize you are not Gods gift to the world, because as you sat back and complained about the fashion in which he set this up, I have had 2 articles accepted. I also had one that does not seem may have been accepted. But you know what it doesn't matter. I will keep writing. For me, Its called experience, a way to show your work to others as well as get paid for it.

And lastly Did you do the math bro 0.01 BTC = $3.25 0.05 BTC = $16.25 Is there really a need to complain?
900  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for writers for a news site! (Earn .05 per article!) on: November 03, 2014, 11:00:43 AM
