I recently decided to switch back to SHA256 mining. The profits are worse on the scrypt side. Also nothing shipping is over 500MH.I would highly recommend not investing into scrypt mining these days!

I don't think anything new is coming for Scrypt miners.
Buy the A2 Terminators --- they are extremely reliable and run about $1200.
so I came to the conclusion that ATM there is A2's nothing special. damn was hoping there were some higher ones. couple months ago I saw many companies advertising higher hash rates. Zeus miners, and gaw miners. Guess A2 is the only way to go. |

This is a FANTASTIC domain name, easly get about 10 thousand dollars for this. You could probably sell it to localbitcoins.com for very large as well, they will likely want to buy it.
I would think he can get sub $5,000 if he finds a right buyer than he can sell for what ever the hell he wants.  good luck man. |

They also don;t work on multipools yet which is a big negative in the scrypt game. I would wait for a new firmware from them. The hardware seems solid though. If I remember right didn't they split the chip shipment with another company? And scrypt mining game is a hard one. I loved it during GPU days, but anymore I have mined sha256 and paid for altcoins instead of mining if I want some. If you have to get a scrypt miner i suggest going with one of the A2's. There are 30, 60, 90 MHz models. I highly suggest working out ROI math before any purchase there though. MAT and Alcheminer split the costs of the development of the chips however MAT is gone now. (Mining Asics Technology) Since Alcheminer actually produces the asics and the boards they own the hardware now. Yeah it really depends on the price , I dont know anyone who is selling any of the A2 models outside of ebay , care to post a link ? Sadly it's all used market now on the A2's i know of. The original companies pumped them out at a insane mark up. Once price drop so drastically they seemed to lose interest in making them. You can get used "A2 TERMINNATOR" on ebay. It's been a while since I have had one/dealt with them. But my advice is get batch 2 or after if you have a choice. I had a couple of those last year sold for close to what I bought them for $10,000 ahha damn |

Most companies have ditched their efforts in new tech due to the huge increase in difficulty last summer. Also altcoin trading is lack luster currently.
I remember some companies stating they would be coming out with some 500MH/s machines was hoping for them. :/ come to think of it it was Gaw Miners  |
