881  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoint to $1,800 USD by end of 2018 on: May 25, 2018, 09:27:19 AM
There is no basis for this prediction. In my opinion, it will be at least $30000 by the end of this year.

Bing says it will ban Crypto-Related Ads By July 2018

Microsoft-powered search engine Bing has joined other internet giants in announcing it will ban cryptocurrency-related advertisements on its network by July 2018, according to an official blog post today, May 15. According to the statement, the main reason for the company’s decision to ban “advertising for cryptocurrency” and “cryptocurrency related products” is the current unregulated status of cryptocurrencies, which allegedly increases risk for Bing’s users: “Because cryptocurrency and related products are not regulated, we have found them to present a possible elevated risk to our users with the potential for bad actors to participate in predatory behaviors, or otherwise scam consumers.”

As the report further says, Bing Ads tool plans to fully implement the ban worldwide between June until early July.Bing’s crypto ads ban is the latest move in a search engine and social media crypto-boycott, initiated by Facebook in late January of this year. Google announced an analogous crypto ad ban in mid-March, and Twitter confirmed its own ban soon after.

Last week, multiple mainstream media outlets reported that Facebook is reportedly “exploring” the launch of its own cryptocurrency.

Once more regulations are in place a lot of this should change so the impact shouldn't be too severe overall

Excerpt: It is to be seen when greater clarity will be provided on the key issue of what constitutes a security and what impact that will have for “utility tokens.”

882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current steady growth will result in $20K by end of August? on: May 25, 2018, 08:03:30 AM
This was posted whilst the market was in an uptrend and had just peaked

It's now in a downtrend again but if it manages to avoid plummeting too low it may recover to this level in Q3 else it would be more likely to occur later in the year if conditions are favorable
883  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Roger Ver to be sued for defrauding bitcoin newbies. on: May 25, 2018, 07:20:17 AM
That misleading label appears to have been removed now but the site remains extremely biased towards Bitcoin Core throughout and places Bitcoin Cash content under the same header as Bitcoin which would be very confusing for newcomers

Any media attention this gets should help clarify the difference
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IBM to Issue Cryptocurrency Token on Public Stellar Blockchain on: May 25, 2018, 06:48:09 AM
This is good news for the Stellar project

Does anyone know what the total supply and initial trading value of the Verde tokens are likely to be?
885  Economy / Economics / Re: Us government has start probe in manipulation in value of cryptocurrency . on: May 25, 2018, 06:12:24 AM
That article is correct a lot of ICO's are illegitimate in that they don't deliver what they promise or are a straight out scam and eliminating these would be healthy for the market as a whole just as much as regulating exchanges to eliminate manipulative trading activities
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRIP][GPU][POS][MASTERNODE] Private Transactions, Private Staking on: May 24, 2018, 09:15:27 AM
What exchange are you planning to list this on besides Crypto Bridge and will the fund raiser be enough for both listings?
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SuchApp – the FIRST 5G Blockchain Enabled Messaging App! on: May 24, 2018, 07:41:51 AM
Is the alpha version available for testing or do you have some screen shots of the app you can share?
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO Could Surpass Bitcoin By The Year 2019 on: May 24, 2018, 07:00:25 AM
This thread is pure hype

NEO is likely to contend with Ethereum for market dominance in the smart contract area at some stage but it will have a hard time overtaking Bitcoin

Ethereum is in a far better position to challenge Bitcoin than NEO
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steemit or Medium on: May 24, 2018, 06:33:39 AM
Medium recently restricted cryptocurrency related posts to projects with authentic domains only

All other content including airdrops, bounty campaigns, generic ICO news and announcements is best shared via Steemit and the better quality the content the more upvotes and rewards you'll receive
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google to ban crypto ads on: May 20, 2018, 08:08:18 AM
Google banning cryptocurrency ads is not entirely a bad thing as it will place more emphasis on other means of marketing them like bounty campaigns which reward the community more than some multi-national corporation and there will likely be a turn around once more regulation is introduced so it shouldn't be a long term issue
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ PRI-ICO ] - THE BEST PAYMENT IN THE WORLD on: May 20, 2018, 07:34:11 AM
Can you provide more information about your banking and finance industry partnerships and what projects the onchain team has previously contributed to developing?
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holded Cybermiles on: May 20, 2018, 06:57:09 AM
There's a few other competing projects that are releasing their mainnets in Q3 as well like High Performance Blockchain and Credits

You could diversify a bit unless you think that one shows the most promise and is likely to deliver the best results
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡🚀⚡PRE-ANN: XBrick - World-class crypto currency exchange ⚡🚀⚡ on: May 19, 2018, 09:29:33 AM
Just in case you weren't aware there's already an XBC asset listed on coinmarketcap (Bitcoin Plus) but that hasn't stopped some projects having the same ticker as others although it may be preferable to use a unique one to save any confusion
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake) on: May 19, 2018, 07:54:38 AM
A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.

i learned my lesson in the hard way..

You didn't lose anything realistically

Next time don't sell all of it try keeping a small amount for later

Even if you only keep 10% you can re-invest the rest and then HODL that for the long term and not miss out when it eventually goes up
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PURPOSE OF TOKEN? on: May 19, 2018, 07:17:42 AM
Hi guys, this just bother me long time ago, and just popped up recently..

What is the purpose of token?

I can not figure it out because I have one token before and I did not know how to use it and I can not even transfer it to bitcoin. I am just wondering why people keep inventing and creating so much token at all.
I hope I can get POSITIVE response and not some hates and negative one.

Thank you.

A token is a digital asset that can be classed as a security or utility

The purpose of tokens is to help facilitate the transfer of value

You can exchange your tokens for Bitcoin, Ethereum or other cryptocurrencies at market price on an exchange

896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Easy way to get listed in an exchange? on: May 19, 2018, 06:48:27 AM
Depends on the size of the project and the trading volume

Bigger exchanges charge rather exorbitant fees and have strict rules for listing assets whereas smaller exchanges can be easier to get listed on with minimal to no fees

Some have a voting system which ensures only the most popular assets with the strongest community support get listed

Newly launched exchanges would be the easiest to get listed on and they generally have low or zero fees
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Token Sale] NOBAR - The Complete Crypto Commerce on: May 18, 2018, 11:07:43 AM
What kinds of marketing and promotions are you planning to do to attract merchants and customers to your platform and increase adoption?
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we heading for full recovery now? on: May 18, 2018, 10:34:17 AM
Despite some negative press the market is experiencing more growth than ever so it shouldn't stay down for long

If Bitcoin goes over $10,000 it mightn't ever get as cheap as it has the first half of this year ever again

What sort of assets will the app support for aidrops and bounties is it ERC-20 tokens only?
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many airdrop programs? on: May 17, 2018, 09:58:35 AM
Hello everybody  Grin

I want to ask something, why every day even every time a lot of airdrop programs that appear? I do not know where they came from and how they came, suddenly appeared. thanks

Airdropping a small proportion of coins is a good way for a new project to develop publicity and interest. This is why airdrop conditions often include having to retweet or share social media posts.

The reason there are so many of them is really a good sign - there is a lot of interest in crypto now and a lot of new projects appearing every day.

Is there any project that almost of their allocation just for airdrop ?

There are quite a few like EOS, Stellar, Ethereum Classic and Byteball but if you're referring to most recent ICO's only a small percentage < 5% of the total supply is usually allocated to airdrops
