I want to update everyone. I stated that I'd use my method of contact to get a hold of the JWLS team and see if I couldn't get anything that wasn't already here.
I was able to get a hold of Roy, and he updated that he actually left the project back in February and for some reason their team never notified us about this publicly, despite being asked by Roy to do so (it was unrelated to JWLS' direction or anything, not a falling out or anything like that). Originally he states, "You don't need to announce my departure publicly at this point as I'm sure it would cause some ruckus and I don't want to make a headache for you guys more so then me already leaving does, but it will need to be done eventually." Chris has gone silent across all forms, not just to us, as outsiders, but to Roy and others as well. There's not much more to report at this time, but it does look like Chris may have gone rogue or something happened to him.
Thank you for the update on this front. I don't like that project is not transparent with key info like this. Chris seems pretty active on that elitepvpers forum so I doubt something happened to him (he posts like everyday there).

yea lets start unmoderated Great idea, start it up and link it here. Frank Lefty Rosenthal Signing Out. briskbread has a lot of data on Chris, there is also a picture of him somewhere I remember him from some YouTube video he made explaining something for Jewels.
|
|
|
Someone posted his personal data (might be still too early for that), but I guess it got deleted by Chris himself. I still hope he gets back to this project, might be my wishful thinking cause I really liked the idea, else I can see a lot of pissed off ICO investors when the news kick in to some that might not be checking here regularly.

any plans for ark android wallet ?
Yes we are working on it. Here is what are upcoming things we are working on and what we plan on doing in the future:
|
|
|
Update to 1.1.0 that has been resolved (tx dissapearing) - and if you have read the roadmap we are working on new wallet. We are out 2 weeks, BTC/LTC for a few years so we'll get there, just a bit of patience . Very good to hear I know I can sound condescending and just plain rude at times. But it's all constructive criticism. I also prefer realistic predictions to hype and wishful thinking. It's just my way of saying I care I know it is and at least I welcome it with open arms - we are not going anywhere, but nothing gets developed overnight, at least not if you want it to be good. Ark runs a lot of contest and distribute ark tokens in them. Will not it start dumping of Ark which is doing good currently?
Not really, only around 1m coins have so far been distributed for bounties (almost all paid out maybe a few smaller ones not yet), which is less than 1% of all coins. If you are referring for current developer bounty running this will do more good than harm for Ark ecosystem as we are encouraging developers (and we value their time so giving them an opportunity to earn some tokens is a good incentive to get involved) rather than bounty hunters looking where they can squeeze that last Ark coin and sell it on the market. when ARK entry exchange bitrex sir?
A couple of weeks ago... oh yes sorry I forget price ark 4866 What was the ICO price of ARK just for reference? Numbers are varying depending on how much bonus you got, but it was somewhere along 1800-3300 sats. I don't have exact numbers maybe someone else does.

How do I navigate the block explorer? I want to see if my wallet is working right (have not received withdrawal from exchange) edit: I found it here https://explorer.ark.io/delegateMonitor, but my txt id from the exchange does not show on the explorer. is there a network issue? It probably wasn't broadcasted on the network - make sure you have confirmed withdrawal (if you withdrew from Bittrex), else just contact them and they'll sort it out. Let them dump. Polo and card payment news will bump to 10k no worries.
polo listing is not so important.. i think a really good new will be the release of card payment system.. but i have read from cannabanana or boldninja who this wil be release in a far futures because it is really expensive services... so... no good news for ark in the nearest future... Polo is irrelevant. Getting listed on Kraken is the win Card payment is far into the future. Just look at Xapo. It took them $40mil in funding and a couple of years to get it running. The devs should focus on improving the current software. Just use the Core BTC/LTC wallet and the Ark wallet and compare it side by side. Keep using until you really feel the difference. I'm talking about the user interface and function. The Core wallet is all function and zero bling, the Ark wallet is more bling and less function. Sending and voting is kind of erratic. When you send and click back on your address, the transaction you just made disappears. It reappears after it gets a confirmation. The local client should remember that it made a transaction and mark it as unconfirmed. The voting is also a bit confusing. I actually had to read the instructions for how i can change a vote. Update to 1.1.0 that has been resolved (tx dissapearing) - and if you have read the roadmap we are working on new wallet. We are out 2 weeks, BTC/LTC for a few years so we'll get there, just a bit of patience .

So Chris has gone silent. Where are these other supposed team members at? , I have got contact with Ofer Rotem and looks like Chris is not responding to his emails. He doesn't know what is going on with Chris, he count that he is hard working. I have no idea what went wrong maybe he is ill or have accident. You know when someone gives you like 60BTC for project and you run away with scam, while you give your public info you can have REAL problems with shady people. Random unknown people can get away with many but when you act in public it is dangerous. I can confirm that I was contacted. I am trying to reach Chris for a while but he has cut communications with me and everyone else I know that were in contact with him. As an investor I can just hope that he is working on this, but I don't understand this behavior. Dont you have his phone number or address? He seems pretty active here : http://www.elitepvpers.com/forum/members/299641-pro4never.html ( Last Activity: Today 04:54 ) http://www.elitepvpers.com/forum/search.php?do=finduser&u=299641

Use option 'R' to restart ARKnode, but I'd just use option '4' in ARKcommander to rebuild from snapshot it will be quickest.
I've done that few times and I just did it again. Do you have firewall up? Port 4001 needs to be open.

Hello, I've installed ark-node and downloaded the latest/current db but "lastBlockHeight" doesn't change at all. Is this normal behavior? Hello bold ninja, few questions here 1) Correct me if i am wrong, i can vote for 2 delegate using one same address but the vote weigthing will be split between 2? 2) The top 51 delegate is depends on the total vote towards them right? Therefore how can i check like how much Ark volume each delegate hold? Lets say Jamie delegate : https://explorer.ark.io/address/ARKfan7iMEK3cn8QDWVzcKdCCpL4MkASHbI can only see : Total balance 244.234167 ARK Can i see like which voter votes the most power into it ? Thanks! 1. You can only vote for 1 delegate from 1 ARK address in order to vote for more you need to move some of the funds to another wallet and vote for another delegate from there eg. 1 ARK wallet address = 1 ARK delegate vote 2. Yes its sum of ARK voting for each of them. Use this to see how much its voting for someone : https://www.arknode.net/VoteReport.txt (its updated every 2 minutes) - for your example 244.23.....ARK is the balance on that account not how much someone is voting for him, but how much Jamiec has on his forging delegate currently. - in order to get which address is voting for some delegate click on that + icon (for Jamiec since you brought it up currently he has 18 guys voting for him + Voters 18) click on that + and you'll see addresses voting for him the ones at the start have least ARK and the ones at the end of the list have the most ARK voting for him. Hope that answers your questions.
