I think Vettel's performance is better than other which are mention in the poll section.

Vettel did a nice interview on Dutch television. He was joking that he would won easily if  there was some rain  Grin

With this Ferrari car, he is going to win only if all cars are involved in an accident.
It was very sad to see Gasly an Alpha Tauri passing the Ferraris in Belgium.

If was even more sad to see Räikkönen passing Vettel in an Alfa Romeo.

Let's hope they will fix it soon otherwise Sainz will have a hard time there at Ferrari. If you saw his face during the race, he is having a headache already.
882  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it necessary to create an ANN thread? on: September 02, 2020, 07:29:58 AM
I just wanted to ask most of the users lately are asking if a certain casino is legitimate or not and some are asking why a crypto based casino does not open an Announcement thread here on the forum. Is it really necessary that a crypto casino or sports betting website needed to open an Announcement thread here?

If I found a new crypto casino I normally check if there is a thread here on this forum. If there isn't one I won't play there. I just want to read expericence of other users.

There is just one casino where I play which doesn't have a thread here but I had some good experience over there before I found this forum.

Nope. I just found out through this topic that it's mentioned below the message textblock.

Are there any suggestions what's the easiest way to encrypt messages?
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimizing variance on dice over X number of bets on: September 02, 2020, 06:38:52 AM
Normally I did 1000sat bets on 1.25x and just let it run. At the end I could wager the correct amount and the loss wass ~1% like the house edge. The closer you want to come to the 1% the more bets you have to make. If you want to do it within 5000 rolls there is a big chance you won't come any close to the 1% house edge, both sides. So you can also be lucky and end up with a bigger balance then expected.

Well, yeah. I don't think the chance is as big as you make it out to be, and again, the point of the thread is to figure out the best multiplier to reduce variance. I do like the choice of 1.25x as a multiplier; when I've needed to wager recently, I've usually gone somewhere in the range of 1.2-1.3. It feels like a better option than 1.01x to me since an unlucky streak wouldn't hurt as much. I'm very curious to know if it is actually better though.

I think the best way to reduce the variance is making more rolls instead of choosing the right mulitplier. Of course the bigger payout the smaller bets you need to make. The problem here is time. If you have all the time I think the best way to roll is just 1 sat on 2x and let it run forever. So you need to find a better way and as you said I also prefer 1.2-1.3 range so I normally do 1.25x.

Maybe you should try the simulate option in seunjies dicebot and see what settings will be the best.

As much as I would love to make more rolls, in certain cases, you are very limited on the number of bets you can make. For example, Stake has a weekly $5000 race that lasts 90 minutes, and the site will only allow so many rolls in that time period.

Thanks for the suggestion to use Dicebot's simulator, I'll take a look. Does it have functionality where it does a certain number of trials, and gives you the data on the standard deviation (or something similar) of the net profit/loss result?

In the simulate option you can set a balance and a number of rolls. At the end it shows the result.

I created a little spreadsheet to calculate the wagered amount and the house edge. The last line is the result of the simulation as shown above.

Link to the spreadsheet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cQda2NA2_v22KEa5c_kCH3wv2_ELt584/view?usp=sharing

I suggest you just make a few simulation per multiplier to calculate the average loss of it.

Out of curiosity since I could login using my duckdice account on your website, If I have some funds on my duckdice can I use those to place bet on this website? also can i use the two platforms at once? maybe like running auto bet on both website.

Unfortunately balances are split between Tower and DuckDice, we are planning to implement simple transfers between them though. And you can certainly use both sites simultaneously.

That sounds great. Let's hope it won't have a minimum like the normal withdraws.
886  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can anyone give a wrong negative trust? Even when he is wrong? on: September 01, 2020, 07:49:38 AM
Trust is not moderated, so only person that can remove the negative trust is the person that left it. None of us can do much here in that regard, not even admins.
Well, that's untrue. Admins can remove negative trust. They just don't tend to do it unless it's egregious spam or something significantly malicious outside of words.

Well then admins can remove all the negative trust spam of game-protect. He have been spamming negative trust to everyone who gave him negative trust which he deserved.

I did this a lot for unlocking deposit bonuses. First get a nice profit and then just start wagering to unlock the bonus.

It's more fun to watch Lando calling Verstappen, Sainz, Russel etc then yesterdays race.

Another loss for Ajax,,, they should still have enough quality to win their league but they really need to get more Champions League glory to keep their stars, or find a way to make the league more competitive so that players feel they are playing in a tough league. Netherlands does better on international stage now but it will be many more years to get to a stage where people WANT to go to Ajax and not leave it.

They still have Neres, Tadlic and still Tagliafico. I am wondering how newcomer Antony will do. Ajax have great pre season matches so I am excited what this season will bring.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 31, 2020, 12:10:26 PM
Let's hope Ajax will be in pot 2. Grin

They just need to redo their campaign like in 2019. Let's hope they don't lose to many players in this transfer window.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 31, 2020, 07:38:40 AM
That was a boring race yesterday. I think it came because of the early safety car. They had to take the pitstop too early so the rest of the race they just had to save tyres.

Yes, that didn't help. But I think as soon as Hamilton got through the first few corners on the opening lap, it was pretty much guaranteed that he'd win. Bottas can't compete because he's not good enough, Verstappen can't compete because his car's not good enough. Drivers and constructors championships are as good as over already. Still, we can't take anything away from Hamilton, he's a top driver performing at the top of his ability.

There was moment in the race Hamilton said on the teamradio that he was losing power. That could made the race and the championship more interesting but few seconds later he was still driving 320km/h and his engineer told him that it was already fixed.

Everytime this topic is in my updated list I get flashback. Like selling BTC2 for $250 each.  Shocked
How much you bought that time?and what year this selling happens?I think the price of Bitcoin those days plays 100$ to 150$ ?

This is the problem because we can Only felt the regrets these years since we already
saw the Hype Bitcoin can ever Give,Imagine that $20,000 value
 had already reach.
Sorry for your regrets mate but I think moving on si the best remedy for this,we cannot bring that day back but we can do another Deals in our days now.

Well I didn't bought them I just won them so it was 100% profit but still sucks when the price rises that big after that. But I learned my lessons with that and don't sell any if I dont need the money.
895  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise | August 2020 🔥 on: August 31, 2020, 07:09:50 AM
I never truly understood the complaints (except in very obvious cases). Every casino I have some money at has a cheap option which at most takes a couple of days to confirm. If you are so desperate for money that your casino balance is your life or death situation, then you really shouldn't be gambling at all, no?

You're 100% correct with that.

I normally pick the cheapest option of fee to withdraw and havent been waiting for days. The longest I had to wait was 20 hours or something like that.

I also got a few times I choice the highest fee and after that no blocks were find for almost 1.5 hours so then you still have to wait a long time.

That accident looked horrible. It took a while before we saw in the replay what actually happened.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Verifying Provably Fair b.s. on: August 31, 2020, 05:51:55 AM
I am also curious about this one because I saw that there are many platforms that are saying that they offer a probably fair script but it will be good if a normal
gambler can verify it whether they are telling the truth or not.

So third party application will be very helpful if there is willing to create a platform that will verify their script. I will be looking forward if there will be available in the future.

There are some third parties which verify the casino's. Like cryptogambling.org for example. All the biggest dice sites have been verified by them.

I noticed on Duckdice even their Random Number Generator is certified (https://duckdice.io/storage/downloads/RNG_Certificate_UK_Sabant_BV_ITL1902910_12Nov19.pdf)

VDB to Manchester United for a low price, what do you think? wasn't Real interested on him?

source: https://twitter.com/brfootball/status/1300138987391193088

Too bad for Ajax but I think for Dony it's a good choice. I think he would play lot more at MU then in Real Madrid.

Let's hope for Ajax they can keep Tagliafico and Onana.

Maybe some casino's should give the user the options for bulk withdrawals. If they want their withdraw will be collected and send out every 4/6 hours in a bulk and pay less fee.

I would go for such options. I can wait for a withdraw. In most times I don't need the money that fast.
