I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
Well, being anonymous by using BTC is one of the biggest reasons why government can't accept it. Without the ability to identify the owner of this certain bitcoin, the government can't file tax for the transactions made by that certain individual. As of this moment, I'm sure that the government is still thinking of ways on how to control BTC and make the best out of it. Well, I guess the only sure way for the government to accept bitcoin is to make bitcoin becomes no longer anonymous. but, it really makes bitcoin becomes meaningless, because I feel that it is the advantages of the bitcoin. |

I'm using a desktop wallet. It has proven to be very reliable. Many people are using online wallets, but I don't completely trust online sites and feel better having coins on my desktop.
I never bothered with offline/paper wallets, I'm not that scared of being hacked. Maybe if I had 20+ btc I might consider it. I also agree with the previous posts that you should avoid keeping money on exchanges.

The worst mistake was to keep betting even after winning some bets with the bet of 0.1 and multiplier set at 1.01. And after winning around 0.01, the next bet left me with just a few dollars in the account and i lost around $100 at once. Though i have been losing small amounts in gambling from past but that was my biggest loss of all times.
Well, I too have experienced the same thing. but the worst thing is probably the bet with a high amount with all the money they had. it's really that careless action, and I knew that it was only done by people who want to get rich quick. |

Hard to say right now and depend on the current rise, if it doesn't go down like it had in 2016 and maintains a stable value around the $1000 for few months then it might IMO, getting to 2k is a large milestone and wouldn't be easy though so if it's not in 2017 it might come within few years.
It is not hard to thing that bitcoin will reach $2k. It is inevitable. Look at the age of BTC, the supply and the people who are targeted to adopt this cryptocurrency. If it fails this year, there is always next year but if ETF is approved then we can say, Bitcoin will have a better chance to reach $2k this year.
