Hi all
This morning i recieved my amt miner kit.  Grin off to buy a psu for it today. ill update with performance and power usage as mellorbo and regtable have a temp gauge and volt meter. we should have the kits running and tweaked hopefully by tonight
Congrats
I am looking for your update dude
10X
PS: mellorbo is silent no updates from him Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh
883  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Technobit HEX8A1 130GH/s Coincraft A1 based miner reviewed on: April 11, 2014, 01:02:21 PM
i did that to start with. i mentioned that i  have two linux installed when i asked where i could find somebody who knows how i could copy wallet and data files from the terminal... remember?
You are loosing too much time dude fighting with linux
No hard feelings but try to find a tplink asap or try hexminer Microsoft s...t
Unfortunately i will not be able to give you hints with M$ but other folks will for sure
Good luck
Finally
type sudo su
And try all over again

884  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Technobit HEX8A1 130GH/s Coincraft A1 based miner reviewed on: April 11, 2014, 12:29:18 PM
its just that with shipping costs you almost pay twice the value for the product.
i thought of a raspberry pi, it costs more but it is more powerfull and you can use it the same way as a computer. And i will have it before the tplink would have arrived.
You can buy tplink from local store behind the corner much more chipper than Pi. And flash it
Tplink can handle a lot even though it seems less powerful compared to PI Wink
Let say 9 (My bad) HEx8 - 2.1T in total without issues - personal experience.
So do not worry
I am too lasy for screen shots

and try again
But as Zich said just go for a tplink

Would you be so kind to reveal ACTUAL performance of your rig and ACTUAL power consumption at the wall?

1. Make sure that /tmp folder exists -
2. do sudo rm tmp/cgminer-usb-3-7
3. run cgminer with SUDO as advised

Please post the output of lsmod

Hey guy's
Why are you so silent?
As long as you getting the units i am eager to see some honest pool speed chart + power consumption?
Any One
That was the top AMT secret kept away from us Grin
It is about time truth to be revealed Grin

being in the uk there is sime tweaking to be done. and our dual power supply is not performing as it should. will update later today
Honestly speaking dual power supply is big NoNo in general
There are many potential issues involved
Just a friendly advise for all of you

if It is possible just buy additional Rapi and split your setup .
the goal is always to use common ground from SINGLE PSU and never mixed PSU's grounds

AMT engineers where are you  Grin
Give some help to your customers so they can use your products at the end Grin

892  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A3 - 112 GH/s Avalon 3 gen chips board on: April 11, 2014, 09:22:08 AM
Here we are working @ 110 GHs with 2.5 % HW

Wow, that was great marto. 6,875 GH/s per chip.
6,875 GH is real performance add 2,5% HW on top so just on spot Wink
HW errors are not counted as MHs Wink
so 6,875 * 1.025 = 7046GH 100% matching chip specs
Nice job guy's as always!!!!
PS: by the way i am impressed by pool reject rate Cheesy

893  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 11, 2014, 04:33:31 AM
SO I can pull up AMT's web interface but it's not recognizing the modules.

I keep looking at the CG miner logs and get a cgminer not connected page.
These are tested machines ...at least that is what AMT claimed:)
Check your cabling dude
Ps
Is there 24 performance chart available yet?
Someone?
894  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT support tread + customer feedback on: April 10, 2014, 05:13:46 PM
My experience has been good compared to other suppliers and i have had a GOOD experience of others believe me, lost money in the process. Technobits are good designed products, just as usual pricing could be a bit more helpful but i suppose its difficults with smallma rgins. also 8 months is short time for a company to be perfect so in fairness overall good. Smiley

I would like to by more of their products, if they had on board firmware and a lan port, that would be fantastic, something for the next board perhaps. Wink

+1 Smiley
Something like Technobit board and tplink in a box Wink
Apart of the jokes I am very happy Technobit customer
+1 for marto and CO

Have been patched.
No other instance is running.
lsusb output?
+ lsusb -v
+ dmesg
have you tried with other usb cable?
896  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 10, 2014, 01:52:13 PM
A few questions about setting up the full AMT 1.2 miner:

1) I assume I can just aquire an IP (or set one statically)
2) Set my pool.
3) browse to the IP set and type admin/admin
4) Begin mining.

I don't really understand all the unplugging the Pi, do I really need to mess with that or the wires?

Also, if the flash is proprietary:

1) is there a way to back it up?
2) can you post a generic BIN file.
3) would it be possible if the board went bad just to buy another one and restore the file(s).

Thanks
its as simple as 192.168.1.whatever and access it from firefox.. change 1 setting in there and your locked out i know this. think i changed amt gui ssh setting by accident and no more gui lol Embarrassed
to get ip adress you use pi on hdmi and type ifconfig

Hey,
can you post again some performance update from your pool graph preferably?
897  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 10, 2014, 12:23:23 PM
another fyi u all asked where are the miners set up for "test" well mine is set to btc guild NOT eligus
Eligius graph is great though...
Will you share your impressions with us?
What i am expecting to see is 1.2T straight line graph for at least 24 hours. That will mean it works Wink

i cant show you 1.2th lmao my miner is the 520gh with a extra board but i will show it running once build is finished and will give a honest review.
i will be mining at ghash.io so will take screen shots 24hr after start to show avg hash. i have never used eligus tbh
It means that you have 4 blades in total right?

Assuming 1.2T (will be) is with 5 blades you have to be able to reach 1.2 / 5 * 4 = 0.96T. According to AMT (AFTER MILLIONS OF LIES AT THE END) The power draw AT THE WALL should be around 1.1KW /5 *4 = 0.88KW Grin Grin Grin Grin

Correct?

Please be so kind to tell us your extra costs about PSU if you both any fans or whatever

Thanks

no its 3 blades on a 600w psu (backplane and 1 blade) and a 750w (pi, fans and 2 blades) spare from 2 ltc mining rigs. fans powerfull and kick up after pi boot. no kw meter as of yet but figured 300w per card so around 900w.

2 mins after start up not sure if it gotta warm up, possibly under powering it. all new territory.
Normal .....
if they mine at diff one for sure blade 3 is crap
however they can tell the asics to return only diff matching pool diff in that case some time is needed for it to level

Watch your pool do not trust this web shit!
