Honestly, mate, I know about horse racing as we also have horse racing competitions in our country, but the lack of media coverage is probably the reason why I didn't develop a passion for this sport. There's some entries in the thread, but most places are reserved. I think, as always, we'll have many submissions in the last two days. Some maybe feel that the contest will extend since they see less submission and this is not usual happening since mostly artist submit their art once they are done or near to the deadline but now we see few submissions. But now since they extend the deadline and many had an idea in mind on what art they are going to submit then for sure this art contest for this round still exciting. I though we can less participants but for this extension it gives more time for other artist to catch up. |

It is on this forum that I knew using fingerprint to unlock wallet device is not good, specifically mobile phones. We know already that we should not have too much bitcoin on a mobile wallet. Let us assume that you have little amount of bitcoin on a mobile bitcoin wallet like Electrum or Bluewallet but you still want security.
Fingerprint is not secure, what about face unlock?
If a fingerprint isn't advisable to use in unlocking a wallet device then face unlock is as well not advisable as the two are just with same risk, while you can be deep asleep someone might take advantage of the moment easily in your unconscious state of sleep. Creating a unique password for the device will be much secure bad perfect in that case. Exactly. Why even think of using face lock in the first place, knowing that it is more open to be taken advantage of than a normal authentication would. Barcode is good to use if you care so much about security of your BTC wallet on your device. A very good password with at least one capital letter, signs, number, punctuation, would give hackers or scammers or even AI tough time to dicipher the password. This might be awkward to use by other people since many are worried about strange incidents might happen but if this is used by the user and properly handle in terms of security measures to avoid data leaking then this is really good added safety measures on everyone's account since no one can easily access your account unless if you say so. Posting on local boards shows your real identity and on local board one can easily flow with the discussions over there, since the most popular countries have their own local boards and people on bitcointalk.org posts on the board but I am wondering if is a must for evey bitcointalkers to post on their local boards, maybe for one reason or the other.
This is not necessary you have freedom to choose if you like to post on your local board or not. But its great advantage for you if you actively posting there if you know your local board is so much alive and to many active posters there since you can easily understand all the topic posted since the word use is your native language. But in my case my local board is not so active and the post their is so generic that's why I choose to stay on global boards since there's a lot of things to learn there. |

I just want to mention this, the crypto market is a place that represents economic goals, but it is still too small to see its fluctuations. Price manipulation is not a rare story as it can be found in almost all different markets, and of course people and organizations speculating in investment will naturally pay attention to this market. But I understand that if we want to escape control, this market must develop strongly. We can get a hint once manipulation happen if we can see a lot of negative news spreading especially on famous crypto pages and news. Hi all, I've been reading here for a while and decided to join your busy place. What do you think about DeFi for the next several years. Will it fade away, like most ICO's, stabilize and get much easier to use, or continue with wildly volatile tokens and hot new projects that keep getting major hacks? I love the subject and think the short and sweet DeFi is a prefect name since the whole internet population is used to WiFi.
What do you think, are we looking at a passing fad, something that gets "re-branded or re-invented" after the hacks settle down, and/or is DeFi currently on a path to keep getting stronger?
Defi is not a scam but to be honest, the hype was more than what ICO did back then. ICO was full of scam, we can't deny that but the effort some influencers used for people to think that Defi was the next thing after banks till today haven't convinced, traditional finance is a flop but the Defi hack hasn't proven otherwise, team pulling rugg and scam projects running off with people are not worth what Defi was supposed to be, it was just hype even though there people who still believe in it. The idea is not scam the idea of this technology is really great but the devs or project owner is the one killing this idea because they use this to make their scamming plans successful. As an investor, i bought so many exchange based tokens! Bnb, uniswap, kucoin (kcs), cake, houbi (ht), FTP and so on. Undoubtedly those exchangers are so big and reputable. I though those altcoins will pump if exchange get larger during time and if exchange add more pair with their altcoin on their platform, then price will boom but most of those are like shitcoin, dumped 70-80℅ in long run except bnb. So what do you think? I'm no longer going to invest any exchange coin anymore!
Nothing guarantee anything even if its popular exchange so even if they are having a good run better take extra precautionary measures on your investment. But since you acquired some good coins there still it has potential to rise up its just you need to be aware always on the news and don't get hype easily so that you can think nice then sell according to what target you set.
