Although I am a fan of McLaren and don't enjoy much the races since 3 or more years now, yesterday was a wonderful race to watch with a lot of action going on in different points of the track. Final stage was beautiful and I think the Mercs did the right strategy in the end of the race to limit damages.

I got also 400 points on Croatia game although I had 1-1 exact result, and had Joker on them, didn't get the full 700 point but I don't know where I am in the table should be above 15, yeah 16 I am with 650 points behind 5th place. I have put a joker on one of the semi finals which will give me 800 points and maybe I will have a chance. Anyway I guess in a more realistic view I am out of the tournament like many others.

I had England 0-0 too but I cannot say I am not happy that they have gone to the semi final. They are playing well, it is the first time that they are playing as a group and not as individual superstars like they have done in the past, and well in the past they have been eliminated in the early stages of WC. I have my jolly on Croatia game but I am not quite calm knowing that the referee whoever might be will undoubtedly favor Russia.

What is even more pathetic is that Brazil could't score more than one goal to a team like Belgium which has strong attacking play but lack a lot in defense that is why they will be eliminated against France.

After a loss yesterday which is a painful one because Cork City did all the game and they unfortunately lost a penalty too.

Goodbye Brazil, if this is not the world cup of surprises I don't know what world cup this is. All the bigs out except France, if we can call France a big. A world cup where all bigs are out before the semi finals, don't remember such world cup before, probably the only one in history so far.

I didn't know Cavani would have not played so I played it 1-1 exact result. Didn't play Joker on today games but at least got the exact number of goals in the France game. Can't say I am happy with Brazil performance so far , in fact I have my doubts now if they can equalize, let alone win tonight. Guess the last one of the bigs is out tonight.

Russia is being favored like S.Korea in 2002 was being favored. In fact if I remember correctly the referee from Ecuador was suspended from soccer activity after blatantly favoring S.Korea against Italy in 2002. I am sure though that the referee who will favor Russia won't be suspended,(I just love the double standard of FIFA). Anyway back to world cup, I think we would see in the semi finals, France, England, Croatia and Brazil.

It is official that he will be playing for Juve. Here in Italy my country many newspapers and online soccer sites posted that he did all the physical examinations so I would say it is 100% sure he will be playing for Juventus next year. A few friends of mine and many people in Italy like to make a joke and they say "He did come to Juventus cause he got bored winning Champions league every year" meaning that Juventus has had huge bad luck by losing some finals in the Champions League.

Unfortunately our winning streak was put to a halt yeaterday. Today still no World Cup so let'see.

I am near you too in 16th position. Anyway it is fun to be part of the tournament and I predicted almost all quarter finals DRAWS. I put a joker this time which if hit right will give me 750 points so my only hope is to find the right correct score in the joker game to climb up some positions. It is just for fun as I think it is 100% sure I cannot reach top 5 now.

I am so sad that England equalized in last minute of added time while I had my prediction 0-1 for England to win and it was a goal which could have been saved if England would have been a bit more focused in these last minutes of the game. Still I am happy though as I placed a bet for England to win the game in the beginning of this thread where I got a reply from hilarious who thought to be impossible and if they would be in 1/8 would have been great, well here they are now.

I had Sweden 1-1 but I should have learned to not play against Sweden, they eliminated my country team Italy by playing only defensive football, did the same with almost all the teams of the tournament and yet they are in the quarter final. My bad and everyone else who played against them.

Edit: Thought I got England 0-1 only to be ruined in 94 minutes, this world cup has been so full of bad luck for predicting correct scores.
