881  Economy / Reputation / Re: To Leo and all who support Privacy & the original purpose of Bitcoin. Thank you on: February 07, 2024, 05:36:29 PM
o_e_l_e_o was last active on 22 January. In his farewell thread, he mentioned that the account would soon be banned after he is done with his final goodbyes. BPIP doesn't show such accounts (locked) as banned. That's also the case with Lauda and satoshi. I just checked the modlog and there is no information there either. Anyone knows if the account has been locked/banned already?
Although, I don't really know either that account of o_e_l_e_o is banned or locked but I'm sure that no one will be able to use that account from now on because he left the forum himself and shared something that we all understand is a final goodbye to the family.

When Lauda left the forum no one yet used that account after that and similarly the o_e_l_e_o's account won't be used by anyone because he willingly left the forum for a genuine reason and that's why he left his farewall message for us.

I think an admin or a global moderator might be able to shade some light that what happens with such accounts when owners willingly share farewell messages and say that they won't be using the forum anymore.
882  Economy / Services / Re: I do have winning casino crypto formula with 200% profit per month, any interest? on: February 07, 2024, 11:48:01 AM
And I suggest you shut your mouth and prepare for your own death in 2024 !
Is that the way to answer genuine questions or suggestions? I think you're now doing your best to prove that you are here just to scam others and make money by selling your useless method. Just get a life man, and do something else rather than scamming others. I suggest you to move to another forum and try your scamming luck there because here you can't get success in scamming anyone.
883  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happens if someone sells an account on a neighboring forum? on: February 07, 2024, 11:43:18 AM
Sorry but you're in no position to make this kind of judgment.

Nobody had ever heard of that forum before the mixer ban here. They are clearly capitalizing on a one-off deal to its fullest extent. The whole thing reeks of opportunism.

If you feel like spending money for a chance to make money is worth it, fine, but don't come crying here after you realize you got scammed.
I think you got me wrong, I wasn't saying that someone should purchase from their shop to shift out their trust ratings on that forum but I was basically trying to say that those who might find it useful for them to move their trust then they can do that. It's someone's own choice not mine.

Even, I haven't visited or heard about that forum before mixer ban but now I'm active on that forum and many others are also active there. They are getting many members on their forum and many mixers are moving their campaigns on that forum. I don't think that scamming others would help them at all because they will be making some good amount of money from advertising. However, I'm not advocate of that forum and that's why I won't take any responsibility.

Yes, welcome to the forum from myside as well but I would also say that you have posted this thread on a wrong board. A suitable board for this kind of topic should be service announcements or service discussion. I suggest you to move it to service announcements board. Here's the link of it.
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashless Socity and Contribution of Bitcoin! on: February 07, 2024, 11:23:26 AM
Hopefully it's possible for Bitcoin to become a cashless system in the future it!
No, it's not possible for Bitcoin to become a cashless system, the reason is always going to be the high fees. In cash you don't have to pay fees in order to trade goods but with Bitcoin you'll have to pay some fees in order to get your transaction completed.

Cash is also a needed thing for exchange of goods, Bitcoin can be used as a p2p payment system but it can't be a cashless system, in fact it's not possible to shift complete world to accept cashless systems where everything can be purchased digitally instead of carrying physical cash.

I'm sure we can have digital money that can be useful for those who are technically good but what about the ones who have no technical knowledge? How would they be able to use cashless system when they don't understand ins and outs of technology they are going to be dealing with?

That's why I would say it's not possible to have cashless system anytime soon and I highly believe that Bitcoin isn't suitable for such thing.
886  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: February 07, 2024, 10:53:03 AM
Not so I think.. just placing opposite sports bets from two different accounts (betting on both issues) can show to be cheaper and easier than laundering money the traditional ways !!
If I'm wrong then that's called sports arbitraging and when a casino finds out about that then they will freeze the funds of both accounts and the one who's operating those accounts will end up with no money.

I don't know that do money launderers use sports arbitrage or not but a few people seem to use that to take advantage of casinos in order to earn fast profits.

Money launderers are much smart these days and they know dozen of ways to clean out the laundered money. And, there's a chance that they might use casinos also for that but I'm not fully sure.
887  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: February 07, 2024, 10:05:43 AM
Maybe that is a frustration post that's why he keep posting the same accusation since he still hope that there's little possibilities that he can get his money back from this scam casino.
He's just wasting his and our time, I believe 1xBit don't really care much about their status on Bitcointalk because they are consistently getting new players on their platform with those sold out social media influencers.

I'm telling them sold out because they are knowingly fooling the innocent players because they are getting huge sums of money from 1xBit and sites similar to it.

The guy is still hoping that 1xBit representative will check his posts and solve his issue but he should understand that beating around the bush won't help him or anyone else. He should just forget about 1Xbit and its scam and should move on.
888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 06, 2024, 04:44:47 PM
Coffee promotes health.
Yeah, that's true coffee does improve ones health but we don't really take coffee without added processed sugar and that's something not good for health. The processed sugar or the normal sugar at our homes isn't safe for us and unfortunately we can't take tea or coffee without added sugar.

Pushups are not good exercise. Running, walking, swimming, almost anything aerobic are much better.
That's very true push ups aren't good for our health because in old age we can lose our ability of normal walking if we push our bodies to high extremes in our young age. I think walking is the best excursive for everyone who wants to live happy and healthy. If someone wants to live wealthy then Bitcoin!!!!!
889  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monk.gg - PvP Crypto Casino | 💰 BITCOINTALK DEPOSIT BONUS 💰 on: February 06, 2024, 04:22:36 PM
Maybe they don't have the plan to offer anything exclusive to the Bitcointalk gambling community. There are only one or two active players on the platform.
They should not give up on a platform like this because it's not easy to gain 100's of active players within few weeks. I believe it would be a worst step for them if they don't offer exclusive bonuses and other things for Bitcointalk gamers community.

They'll miss so many good players and that's the worst thing a casino can ever do. I hope that they'll soon offer some exclusive bonuses and other programs for Bitcointalk users so they can get some good players from Bitcointalk gaming community.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please stop asking for "legal tender status" on: February 06, 2024, 04:18:24 PM
Legal tender means that the government forces everybody to accept Bitcoin whether they want to or not.
Totally wrong, a legal tender is a type of payment that a country considers as legal and its law allow it to be used to settle debts which simply means a type of asset that can be used for financial things. A country never force you to use a legal tender but if you live in a country then you need to use it for trading of goods.

Let's say each country's fiat is a legal tender but they won't force you to use it, however if you want to purchase something from a shop or from someone then you will need it for the purpose. If Bitcoin becomes a legal tender then the governments won't force others to accept it but they will allow anyone to trade goods with it without any legal concerns. Ultimately, you'll be allowed to settle debt with either fiat or Bitcoin if a country makes it a legal tender.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand this apparent contradiction between bitcoin and inflation on: February 06, 2024, 02:18:07 PM
I'm guessing the answer would be that inflation causes bitcoin price to go down in the short term, but in the long term causes it to go up? If so then why?
Nope Bitcoin value won't get impacted a lot by inflation but surely in short term it will get affected to some extent. The main reason for that short term value drop of Bitcoin can be because of worldwide inflation, when inflation takes place all over the world then fiat will lose its value and those people who hold Bitcoin might end up selling some of their holdings if they need cash and that causes Bitcoin's value to go down.

But, after that short term value drop Bitcoin won't lose its value again by a lot, however Bitcoin is known to be volatile and it can still sometimes get those dips of value. When inflation gets hugely high and people hardly manage to fulfill their daily need then again Bitcoin price won't go up a lot. However, Bitcoin won't lose as much value as fiat currencies will lose, and that's why you can consider it as deflationary in such times.
892  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happens if someone sells an account on a neighboring forum? on: February 06, 2024, 01:59:43 PM
If you pay that forum any money whatsoever, you are dumb beyond belief. OK so granted I'm including being greedy as part of being dumb.

It's a clear scam. They will close up shop as soon as they have received the desired amount of funds. Guaranteed.
It's worth it for those who might have enough trust ratings on this forum but for other members who don't have any trust ratings or not enough trust ratings on this forum then it's not a worthy thing.

I've noticed that trust system on that forum is somewhat different from this forum and I hardly see any positive feedback on any member's profile on that forum.

Not sure whether they will run away with the funds or not but according to their admin they enabled the shop so they can support the forum. But I guess most users won't ever purchase anything from the shop.
893  Economy / Services / Re: I do have winning casino crypto formula with 200% profit per month, any interest? on: February 06, 2024, 12:10:18 PM
So I will stop selling this 100% winning formula from February 8th 2024 (next 48 hours or so).
You should stop selling it from right now why you are still selling the formula till 8th February 2024? If you really want to stop selling then stop it right now as 48 more hours doesn't make much sense to me. If you're doing that for the sake of marketing then that's another thing but I don't think that anyone is going to purchase that formula even in next 48 hours, that's why I suggest you to stop wasting your time and others time. Thank you!
894  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: February 06, 2024, 04:33:56 AM
There are some confusions and speculations ongoing regarding the refund and the status of our "New project."  As we have stated previously, all users will be 100% refunded. It is important to note that we are not simply refunding users the value of their assets at the time of the site's closing. The refund is being issued at the current market rate, about twice the original value since then. As anyone can imagine, this is a very difficult thing to do. If we were doing the rate at the time of the site closing, it would have been a straightforward process, and this issue would have been long closed if that were the case.
I'm sure your this reply was very needed to motivate the ones who thought that they might not receive the refunds. It's crucial to be active on this thread and share updates from time to time so the players or victims and this forum users can be assure that Betnomi is going to refund all those who were affected back then. It would be much better if you can share some of the refunds that you have sent or some of those players may come here and share their refunds with us so the others can be convinced that they will receive their money.

I suggest you to refund the players at that time's dollar rate instead of refunding them at current dates crypto-currency or Bitcoin rate and I'm sure the ones who get refund even at dollar rates won't mind. They simply want to get what they had on the platform and they don't really care that even Bitcoin went to $44k or anything else, I suggest you to refund them in dollar rate of that time.

897  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏈Learn How To Arbitrage and make thousands a month🏈 on: February 05, 2024, 06:07:08 PM
I have been limited, but the sites never just stole funds.  But again I am only using US states that are in my area, no crypto casinos.
Then your arbitrate thing may not work on crypto casinos because the casinos that are available in US states might work differently than the ones that are available for crypto users. I have noticed that most of the crypto casinos don't accept US citizens on their platforms and that's why I think those arbitrage things may not work on crypto casinos.

If your accounts have been limited on those sites then that's another sign that the casinos don't really like arbitraging and they might freeze your funds in future if they get 100% confirm that you're arbitraging on their platform.
898  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: February 05, 2024, 05:36:00 PM
I think they should at least communicate on here and let people know what the status is. Probably should have seen some refunds at this point as well, but so far I see nothing. Have they launched the new platform or does anyone know?
I agree with you if they become active on this thread and do some communication then things will still be better than they are right now. But, seems like the account of Betnomi was last time active on 23rd of December and that shows that they aren't serious about refunding the victims or about this thread that they have made.

If they really wanted to convince the victims that they are serious about their refund plan then they would start refunding from smaller accounts first and post the number of refunds they have completed within a month. I believe taking step is much better than talking but so far they have been talking only and they haven't taken any steps toward the refunding plan.
899  Other / Meta / Re: Methods of Signing your BTC address to prove your identity on: February 05, 2024, 05:28:59 PM
It's always better to use multiple Bitcoin addresses for transaction and separate Bitcoin account or account for signing messages. No one can harm you even if you sign a messuage from your transaction wallet but that's something a privacy oriented person will never do.

Sometimes we unwilling tell people that how much money we have by signing messages from our transactional wallets and a few of those people can be scammers and thieves who will try to steal the Bitcoin someone has.

But for that they will have to physically reach the victim or convince him/her using social engineering tactics. Once the victim is convinced and somehow install an application or click on a vulnerable link then again those thieves and scammers can access the wallet.

That's why it's often suggested to avoid using the transitional wallet for signing of messages. As long as you own your seed phrase and it isn't given to anyone then they won't be able to know your transactional or message signing wallet.
900  Other / Meta / Re: (Any Guesses?) Are there many real (unpaid) people still posting here at BCT? on: February 05, 2024, 03:11:36 PM
Honestly could just be me generalizing all the hate anti-sigs have thrown over the years. Although earlier this year I saw quite a couple of those Anti-sig propagandists make posts about how the forum would be better without signature campaigns or something along those lines. So yup. The hate still exists, but you may be right Sir Sceptical, since the topics they have made so far aren't really as hostile as they were back in the days. Just some 'food for thought' stuff although you'd smell the propaganda from a mile away.
If I'm not wrong then such users are only creating thread like that to promote hatred and nothing else, they really feel jealous by seeing other active members who have been active on this forum for many years making some income from the signature campaigns. That's why they create such thread to make drama that what will happen if the signature campaigns stop on this forum, will members be active if signature campaigns move form this forum, blah blah, just useless thread like that.

I think the best way to tackle those members is to avoid replying on their threads because if they receive replies on such threads then they might make similar threads again and again to get some more replies and in long run some members might merit their threads. If the signature campaigns are running on this forum and if members are trying to make good posts because they're part of those signature campaigns then what's wrong in that? I mean instead of making shit-posts or ChatGpt generated posts they're sharing the knowledge they have and at the same time they're trying to learn new things so they can make even better posts. I think it's a beneficial thing for the forum and for those members who seek information via this forum.
