I was looking for a refund to buy a l3 miner and split the amount with wtt. Would have been a great idea, even now, to make the option of buying equipment with wtt. In my case I'd like to profit from the availability of the equipment right away and the bonus of wtt. if I would ship to my country, the effort would be greater and the wait about the same I think. Reading the whitepaper it says if you don't have enough tokens you pay the retail rate for whatever power you are using over the token amount. So I would think if you setup an l3 now at regular prices once the tokens are released your hosting fees would be lowered to the token level. And you can send them or have your miner shipped to them you don't have to buy it from them. I'd contact them to make sure you can apply your tokens to your hosting plan once they are released but my guess is it should work. They would accept sending equipment to them but in case you are like me and deciding between l3 and s9, I think it is pretty affordable to buy from them, since any day costs more on the mining and it can be recovered faster with the bonus. Right now is pretty late to get the entire sum i needed. Batch one is in August and the other might be months away and the ship arrives sooner. |

This might be the last week of this campaign and good to see that they reached their target pretty early,like to hear about the after sale details from the teams and when you will be listing your coins for trading,really looking forward to that.
I think Storj would be listed in the exchanges said in the OP right after the ICO ends because old token of storj which is storjcoinx, is already listed on bittrex and poloniex. Maybe they would just close the trade of the old coin for a bit then replace it with the new storj like what c-cex have done with xaurum when it released v2.0 or they will just simply add storj then remove old one later on. I agree Exscudo will be nice just based on how well the production of the ICO platform was right up til the end. However you gotta be careful about 'knowing' a coin will change your life...you need to bet on logic not on the feeling that it's the right one. Sometimes that feeling is the psychic truth but you never know if a person is psychic-y or not so it's best to just use logic. I've seen that 'change investors lives' comment on TOO many different coins like MAIDSAFE which, I'm sure, changed some people's lives but it took years to do so, so you hope the investor has some other money. Exscudo will likely go up to $1 minimum by mid-2018, just because it seems to be how this whole crypto market is working right now. These kind of bubbles are super-rare in people's lives so we need to capitalize, but we also need to be smart and not just BET that a token is gonna go to the moon! You could be holding ALL of your EON 'knowing' that it's gonna hit $1, but you could've sold 1/2 your EON for GNT which might hit $1 way sooner... it's pretty exciting and very confusing but just rule of thumb I don't spread moon-launch talk because it makes more noob investors bet money they shouldn't be investing!Less likely it would hit that make once the eons are multiplied? also it would be fair to multiply bounty eons as well to keep the balance. You cannot compare golem with anything else though, it simply promises a lot in the digital world, and a fair amount of enthusiasm is from the fact that they are looking to make the colossal computer grid accessible to end user. This project was the worst I've ever worked with!  I spent over $3 on fees and I could not withdraw 20 miserable TaaS! "Warning! I had that happen and it worked when you double the gas amount, that is already little. This is where I am a little held up. Granted I have already bought tokens. Cryptonoms has already provided one answer but I just don't know if it's enough for me.
If they had a magic tool that they could turn on and effectively mint money, they would. Which essentially they do. I just don't understand what the benefit is of selling us these magical money machines are unless 1) they think they will make more money off the sale of tokens/maintenance than they would mining themselves. Or 2) They are willing to forgo a speculative investment later for a immediate investment now. I guess there is 3) they are just really great people and want to share the wealth so to speak however that one tends to be hard to believe in mosts instances of capitalism.
I just cant help but wonder why they aren't just doing it themselves. I know the answer is "centralization" however they could SO easily get around that.
Mining equipment isn't cheap, and these tokens don't represent ownership of miners just the capacity to run the miners. It's a capital intensive business, so more capital they get the more they can grow. They have access to cheap electricity and talented team to keep miners running, that's their edge in this business and what they are selling. They are also mining for themselves as Gigawatt has been for many years. Seems they are now building out more space and makes more sense to share risks of mining (coin price, difficulty rise ect) while selling us what they do best, keep miners running as cost efficient as possible. I've read about Dave Carlson for many years and his mining operations so I wouldn't worry about being scammed. Mining industry is a cut throat industry but I believe these guys are the best in the business so I'm willing to invest. Before I decide on how much I want to know if I'll be able to sell tokens to access the capital in the future if needed or just rent them out. Thanks for the input on this. As stated I have already invested and am a believer in the project. I just couldnt shake it in the back of my head! Literally they grow the trees but not the fruit themselves. It's a good business for big investors which would do 100 miners and look for a farm house. Not sure if this has been answered yet but it's stated that each Storj costs 0,5 USD. Against which value is this measures? It is at the time of purchased or against some other value? For example, if at the time of purchase BTC was worth $2000 will I get 4000 STORJ for 1 BTC or is it measured against a later exchange rate.
On another note, someone just bought about 50 BTC worth of SJCX all at once. Seems like someone is accumulating.
I think it is instant and according to what you agreed on the moment. I seen other places where it is instant, even if price goes volatile. 50 btc? That is interesting indeed. I would like to hear an expert analysis on this. |
