Sometimes it's quite ironic that many of those who came early because they saw something in Bitcoin were also those who sell early probably because their sense of foresight proved to be shortsighted. It is. But I doubt anyone (not even Satoshi) could have imagined that bitcoin would be worth thousands of dollars one day back in the days when it was still trading for a few bucks. The network's features, the way the blockchain works, and the problems it was set out to solve are just one side of the coin. Those things were there when bitcoin was worth $6, just like they were there when it exploded to $60.000. The speculative price or the " premium on top", like franky likes to call it, is not something that can be predicted. Yeah, those speculative prices are probably beyond prediction. But aren't those also somehow implied very early on when Satoshi himself/herself/themselves, for example, acknowledged the possibility that Bitcoin could get really "huge" and that "6.8 billion people" would only be sharing a maximum of 21 millions coins? Or when Satoshi somehow advised to "get some in case it catches on?" Or perhaps when Hal somehow imagined the possibility that each coin could reach as high as $10 million? I mean, would you be selling or abandon or forget your coins if you already saw Bitcoin's potential right from the start? Or even probably shared Satoshi or Hal's vision of Bitcoin's potential scenario in the future? Or perhaps those who came early had doubts of Bitcoin's future that they're very much willing to dump their coins as soon as the price hit half a dollar each? Or perhaps some of them, though running Bitcoin, aren't really serious or didn't really see the potential of Bitcoin that they didn't care about their coins. It's funny because I read a few times it really doesn't matter too much who Satoshi actually is. Bitcoin is out there now and it already has had an impact on society and economy and will continue to do so even more in the next decade. However, this is one of the super interesting thoughts, what does he think now, what did he think when he created it. If he is indeed the kind of genious that he has been praised to be, I agree and he probably saw the potential for BTC to reach 1M per coin or even more. So, if that is the case, and if he was mostly ideologically driven, not monetarily, it would also make sense to abandon / not touch his coins, keys for so long. Maybe he even destroyed his priv keys on purpose.

I have read your comments in the posts above and will respond here.
- I still assume that the BTC-logo fell into the hands of the cookie designer by accident, and not because he is a desperate crypto enthusiast or it was so conceived by the prudent marketing manager of the confectionery. {...]
Why not - I think there are already slightly more Bitcoin enthusiats around than we may think. - Placing the B on some cookies, why is that "desperate"? It happened to me a few times recently, casually talking about this and that with people I barely knew and to my suprise they were kinda well educated on Bitcoin. Just regular, normal people, working normal jobs. Very happy to see things like this, the combination of these "events" could be a sign for a slow but steady mass-adaption coming. Still funny, that a cookie sparks these thoughts, maybe I am in too deep at this point to think objectively. lol

Hi folks, Does anyone have/use any BTC address tracker app? The one suggested for android is crashing all the time for some reason. Thanks for helpers ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) QB Strange that sentinel crashes, didn't have any issues so far. That being said, the options in the app are very limited, wish it was more advanced. Use Mycelium wallet. It also allows view only key import and works as well as Sentinel on Android for me. Oh nice, gonna try this later!

50/81 for sale, how did you come up with the number 81?
Sent you a PM. Please also re-check my previous PMs. Thanks.
Hi my friend ! i hope you're doing well ! Sorry my mistake, it's 84, 84 for 84,000,000 who is the max supply of LTC ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) just answered to your PM ! Hi. Nope. NO message from you anywhere to be seen. Ah I see, 84 makes sense then. Hi again my friend ! that's weird, i just resend the message to you ! Yes make more sense ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Thanks, got your message now. The reason why this can happen: You click send, but the message is not sent IF the message-window was left open for too long. It is a kind of session time-out.

[...] One thing with the chainz site, is that someone pointed out to me recently that sometimes is seems as though it rounds up the amount in the address... Think the one they pointed out the load was 0.025xxxx and it showed as 0.030xxxx Hopefully that person sees this post and remembers... ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Indeed rounding seems to happen on mobile devices. Probably a tiny bug. Unfortunatelly, if the amount is 0.0005 it will round to 0.001 - which is an error of +100%. I think things get rounded to 4 digits. So MJ's example was probably "0.0 025xxxx and it showed as 0.0 030xxxx" ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FBkDSTNr.jpg&t=663&c=H9P4WOmw_lgh9g) However, the full (real) amount can still be seen on the bottom of the page. Yeah MJ. I was informing you of that glitch when you had a .0025 loaded squirrel that was showing .003 load when you clicked on the link. Same round-up occurred on desktop as well. That's very strange, it does display fine on my desktop but not on mobile (both in firefox and chrome). Guys, is there another way to monitor the addresses.. I have more than 150 micro loaded coins. I do verify the funding when I receive the coins but any good way to export the whole list together anywhere?
Yeah, that would be nice. I just spend... *some time* to copy-paste + scan + firstbitting a lot of mini-loaded stuff. A semi-comfortable way is to copy from lists, if they exist. Still needs to be done one at a time. But much faster than fist-bitting. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

There is also a "Helpful Resources" part in my coldkey-scam summary: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3315347.msg61612749#msg61612749Including links to wallet-apps that provide address observation. if you go to mempool.space and start typing the firstbits - it will show you all addresses that match each value you enter, as you enter more characters the list shrinks accordingly. Thanks Mopar - I did not know this I'd recommend switching to chainz. With walletexplorer, sometimes (rarely) it is unable to find the full address by firstbits - MJ recommended chainz to me and it works perfectly. Also, a big plus: you can find firstbits for almost any shitaltcoin, too. Mempool.space is new to me for firstbits but seems to be working great for Bitcoin.

One of the most common and easy ways to profit in crypto industry is to promote affiliate links to online platforms such as casinos, exchanges and micro earnings websites. Probably most of us have already done it in the past, or still do this during the present moment.
However, what if you had the reach of 1 million subscribers? Millions of views? And if you endorsed a platform to all those people which turned into scam?
[...] What do you think about these people? Do they have any responsabilities when promoting companies which turned into scam? Should they be held accountable for that? Is it right to profit over your audience's losses? And is there more responsability involved when it's an influent person promoting affiliate links, instead of random crypto enthusiasts sharing their links in social medias?
All I can say is, it was very interesting to see the different ways people that promoted FTX dealt with its implosion a few months back. It is as you would expect: The whole spectrum from not-even-mentioning a thing to their subscribers, via blaming FTX and SBF but instantly continuing with other promotions to the very rare "I will not promote any CEX from now on" reaction. That being said, yes, if you promote something and create any kind of revenue from it, you have at least the responsibility to check if it is not an OBVIOUS scam / ponzi etc. And as soon as you get any info that things could be shady it is also your responsibility to immediately stop the promotion and inform your viewers/listeners etc. If you do your due dilligence before accepting a promo-partner you'd probably need to rule out 95%+ of potential partners in crypto space from the start on. You will probably lose some of the most lucrative deals. Which is why too many influencers and youtubers don't do exactly that.

Both addresses that were swept to (` 3BBNmksdPw63ghuNEeFsfPkwXaiqYJH9e7` and ` 3BZDT1rhf7vnabzASuiLzDBBbgDfHivdRd`) are now confirmed HitBTC addresses, as both were transferred to the HitBTC cold wallet. Looks like Yogg is going to cash it out/has actually sold it.
I've messaged their legal team, which probably won't help, but it should at least get his account shutdown. Feel free to contact them as well. The more the better IMO. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Well, there goes the narrative that he was a degenerate gambler. He's just a plain old run of the mill scammer that made a bunch of fake friends to rugpull them with his collectible. Otherwise, he would at least contribute whatever is left to his "friends" aka victims. I would find it troublesome if HitBTC was willing to act upon random emails, but maybe in this case there is enough evidence for them to do something. Likely not, but I applaud your efforts for trying and would encourage others to do the same. Providing pics and as much information as you can will likely help make it seem more real for them also. Nice investigative work. I hope some of the stolen funds are able to be recovered. It would be a small victory, but a victory nonetheless. HitBtc is run bye the Bytecoin scammers so don't expect anything from them. I heard a handful of *very* bad stories from people in crypto space that I trust regarding Hit-BTC. Beware! Quick info: I updated and moved my scam-summary: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3315347.msg61612749#msg61612749I'll try to update / edit as good as possible when new / more things come to light. Despite that will probably try to be a littles less involved in the topic for now - it was kinda soul-draining over the last few days. (and I wasn't even close to Yogg and didn't own too many ck cards).
