881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many gambling sites are you playing and do you use the same strategy on: September 19, 2019, 08:43:16 AM
These days I have been using three different casinos for my gambling needs. Apart from that more than three sports betting sites were there in the list. These sports betting sites were chosen for a game based on the listing, the winning odds. Most of the time I prefer using the sports betting site that gives live betting access.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shower thought. If nations/states/governments are accumulating Bitcoin, then on: September 19, 2019, 06:39:48 AM
When governments accumulate bitcoin, automatically the circulation will get disturbed. This will get reflected over the market of bitcoin. Same time the less supply apart from the bitcoin that's been accumulated will create increased demand for bitcoin. This will create more value for the bitcoin. As bitcoin is manipulative, governments will surely try to manipulate and get benefited same as whales doing at present.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of gamblers are rich or poor? on: September 17, 2019, 11:41:04 PM
So, what do you think on most gamblers now? Are the majority gamblers are rich or poor?
It depends on how much a gambler is earning and how much he/she gambles I guess.

Scenario 1:
I gamble $200 per week and I earn at least $6,000 per month. Even if I lose all bets, I can still be considered as doing well in life.

Scenario 2:
I gamble $200 per week and I only earn around $2-3K per month, I think that can be considered close to poor  Grin

Lol, but the thing is psychologically if you are hooked to gambling, it wouldn't matter how much you earn, the ratio of earn:gamble with stay same. If you earn billion dollars a month, you will gamble away atleast a million Wink
In short, the more money you have, the more money you putting in gambling, and the greed too.
Having lot of money will lead you to greediness, not unless you  have risk management and have descipline.
Greed always accompanies the human, whether he holds a huge fund or small, he always looks for a bigger win. This is where most of the gamblers get caught into the trap. Countable number of gamblers around the world might have profited out of greed through their luck. Looking at this there might be number of people who have spend big and ended their gambling forever.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with ERC20 tokens when ICO gone REKT? on: September 15, 2019, 11:47:42 PM
Let that sit idle on the ERC-20 wallet. That's not gonna cost you anything, if lucky you might get a way with projects getting listed to the exchanges. As of now the possibilities were very low for lot of tokens get listed. Myself have lot of tokens, and now I have forgotten about those. Only one token an year ago got listed after six months of token distribution.
885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best place to sell a little bitcoin on: September 13, 2019, 10:00:00 PM
I personally do not use CEX.IO and have long since left it, occasionally using coinbase and indeed at that time they asked for a copy of ID and I agreed to it but after that I could be comfortable using coinbase, but it was not too often transacted there for fear of some negative feedback. But, if you are a person who is reluctant to send KYC, then I guess that will make you worry, because some large exchanges require us to give KYC and so far I don't think that is a problem.
KYC is something that we really cannot shy away from, because it would be worse than this in the future when there is full regulation on cryptocurrency generally by the government. kyc was never a priority of these exchanges before, but I guess they  have seen the future and they know already that it would cause them big issue when cryptocurrency becomes regulated and it would be enforced by government.

The result of the importance of KYC to government is what has led to the things we are seeing now that virtually everyone is requesting for KYC now. So the op just need to get used to dealing on exchanges with KYC, there are reliable exchanges that would never do anything bad with our data and I can beat my chest for exchanges like binance and some other ones.
If the cryptocurrency exchanges will be only with ID verifying in future, then, I will use fiat.
Maybe DEX will give you the access for KYC free trading practices. In future every exchange will document the KYC as there is need for it to eliminate the illegal activities. When things happen in a proper way it'll also help with the legalization of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on countries that don't take any stand on cryptocurrency.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dont be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ on: September 13, 2019, 06:31:54 PM
It is not a simple task to achieve such a high market cap when there is no FOMO about ICOs and people are in big fear about the future of ETH. It need to resolve the problem which they promised and it is still finding the way to achieve its promise but I think it will happen when BTC would reach $1M.
As mentioned, there is a big fear of missing out among the cryptocurrency users who don't get into complicated calculations. They just buy and hold, so that can profit when the price increases. To the expectation people invested even when the price is high. Further on there is no growth, the value began to decline. Once again the market will grow big and for the same we need to hold for months and years. The market peaked when ethereum gave strong competence to bitcoin. Now ethereum is far beyond bitcoin.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bubble and Crypto on: September 13, 2019, 06:05:40 PM
Since the last dot.com bubble many people stop trusting the government and bitcoin was born which offers decentralization, i think this is a big difference from dot.com because if you ask me what dot com bubble was i'd say is simply a rising asset that no one have no position in, but now that we are all hoping for regulations which ultimately will involve the government isn't it a big mistake?
Share your thoughts ....
Dot com bubble hit the world during the 90's and similar to this several incidents have taken place in the past. Another one being the tulip bubble, following this people was much into controversy about bitcoin during the previous bull run stating it to be a bubble. By the same time there were people who strongly opposed it stating it as a wave of growth which might get slow down but the growth won't gets stopped. Same as that we've been getting universal support and growth continues. With Bakkt it gets elevated to next level and won't be termed bubble anymore.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is or are the contribution of Crypto gambling sites to Crypto Currency on: September 13, 2019, 02:36:38 PM
On the positive side, these gambling sites accepting helped increase the popularity and usage of cryptocurrencies, there's no doubt about that.
On the negative side, it puts bitcoin and other crypto in a bad light in some way.
Agreed, and this happened as a result of bitcoin getting used much into gambling than other needs during its early days. There is some misunderstanding among people that bitcoin is primarily developed for the gambling industry. Though there is more controversy about the same, people have now known better about the truth that bitcoin into gambling is just a part.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 12, 2019, 07:02:11 PM
I guess we'll not get to see even a single match of this series in Pakistan:

Sri Lanka Cricket to reassess security in Pakistan after terror threat

https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/27593665/sri-lanka-cricket-reassess-security-pakistan-terror-threat
This is the best decision overall and I applaud Malinga for helping make this decision. The Pakistan government have been advised multiple times by countries from around the world to minimize these terrorist issues, but I still don't see much of a difference.

Unless their government itself does something about this, teams will always have issues with touring Pakistan.
I don't feel any terror threat now in Pakistan its simply Black Mailing of Indian Cricket Board and they are using power to threat players as they have some good and attractive financial packages for them in IPL and its working I personally feel PCB need to work on PSL instead of bringing International teams this way could be work better for them in future.
India always play political games, but this doesn't look to be game by Indian Cricket Board. PSL won't get to be success, because their is much lack in financial support as well there is none to take forward the event. After a long they've taken step to have a tournament in the home ground. This is being stopped for the moment for some reason. Possibly this will be shifted to some nearby country.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTM ATM on: September 12, 2019, 01:10:52 AM
Similar issues were encountered with fiat ATM where the process takes several minutes. It keeps on counting the currencies, and some times after several minutes it won't dispense cash. Once reported to the banking company responsible for the same, and got to know the network failure is the reason for such issues. Maybe here too such kind of network issues might have happened.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Solotoshi is Satoshi on: September 11, 2019, 11:19:10 PM
Is very intriguing as to how many people are still worried about who the real Satoshi is. It's time to move from the many fallacies that people are spreading on whether the real Satoshi is alive or dead. From the look of things, it is not really necessary to worry about the identity of Satoshi.
Well said, he himself have decided to stay away from the crowd without revealing his identity to the world. With this there is no need to go behind finding Satoshi. More and more things related to Satoshi getting revealed is discussed, but this hasn't reached a conclusion. Till date more coincidences have happened with the name and other characteristics of Satoshi, and similar is the fallacies. They keep on writing articles and claiming themselves as Satoshi as none knows the true identity of Satoshi.
892  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Beginner Question / PLEASE HELP on: September 11, 2019, 09:04:20 PM
Don't just complicate, create a blockchain wallet and go for a buying of bitcoin through our forum. This is the best choice, because you are not planned for long term usage as well the transaction amount is less than $50. Maybe once after making a transaction you'll get a better idea about the wallet and the possibilities of buying bitcoin through other ways.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: September 11, 2019, 08:08:57 PM
I have never experienced winning in gambling in large numbers. Usually I always play a small amount, because I'm always afraid when playing with a large amount. Not that I do not want to win big, because we know for yourself that the risk of playing gambling must be huge too
If we don't have huge funds we should not go for large volume of funds into gambling. Some used to do this mistake out of greed and out of control while they experience continuous loss. This means the mind goes blank and used to spend the maximum amount in the wallet on a single game. Very few get to be lucky to earn this while majority packs and get out of gambling. This way it is always a good choice to go with small bets.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think IEO is more legit if launch on big exchnages like Binance? on: September 11, 2019, 05:33:24 PM
Yes, because when I would see big exchange like binance is supporting a token then that token must have some good qualities. The exchange like Binance wouldn't support garbage token for sure. As an example, we can see Huobi Token did very good progress in the market. So, me personally would trust IEO which launch from Binance.

But also as a natural investor, we should do some research where we are putting our money. Because launching from only popular exchange doesn't give you profit.
Agreed, when it comes to big exchanges they have certain criteria to be fulfilled to get launched through Binance. This is a big stepped process and they expect a big list on this. Every project won't fulfill this, some seems silly and there are some important factors as well. They're transparent and gives the clear information about the project, which also adds value to the project by the time of launch.

However, even after research and continued tracking about the project and investing further there are cases in which the investment has gone into loss even with projects launched through Binance. This way Binance helps in adding legitimacy to the project while success of the project isn't determined by the listing on Binance.
895  Economy / Economics / Re: Average savings across the globe on: September 11, 2019, 03:10:34 PM
Savings is a big thing that helps big with the growth of a country's economy. In my country half the earning will be saved for the future. This can be for the children and for the emergency needs. These days this has decreased a lot, as people just insure and pay premium for health and go with EMI on products that isn't affordable instantly. This has caused the savings go low day by day, but they've a satisfaction. Here the risk is at the times of economic downturn, because we don't know whether we'll be in the job tomorrow.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: September 08, 2019, 11:15:36 PM
Everyone stating that gambling will affect someone's image in the society so this is actually happened with you?

For me it happened once why are you gambling its a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.
Most of the people surrounding me doesn't know that I was into gambling, because I use cryptocurrency. Few people who are close to me know that I was into gambling. In specific whenever I feel bad after a loss I used to share it to them. They are the one who console me, don't think much about it. Someday we'll get a chance of winning.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is why Cryptocurrency future in India is in danger on: September 05, 2019, 04:25:08 PM
I don't find anything danger for bitcoin usage in India. Until there is P2P trading access there is nothing as danger danger in usage of bitcoin. The thread was created with reference to the incident happened last year. This year several drafts were prepared by a team who keep on researching whether India need cryptocurrency. The hearing is getting postponed for weeks and I believe cryptocurrency won't get banned, possibly there will be some restrictions.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology is getting more and more misused by scammers. on: September 05, 2019, 03:59:13 PM
Scammers keep an eye over money earning. Here bitcoin is growing with high potential than any other investment. Also it is one among the high valued asset than other stock market and shares. This is why scammers focus much into technology related growth, particularly blockchain technology is the key term that moves the cryptocurrency network. With this name being used in majority of the projects the scam keeps increasing. It is our responsibility to keep ourselves secure and safe from the hands and tricks of scammers.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 05, 2019, 03:34:13 PM
Crypto holdings is a form of gambling, because we don't know what is the peak price of the respective assets. Some get lucky to earn big predicting the ath price. I missed the days of 2017, and fed up as there is no big growth till days. Finally sold all my crypto holdings losing hope. Looking upon few of the posts I too get to be positive about the crypto holdings.
900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters (State Your Opinion) on: September 04, 2019, 03:54:37 PM
Based on my participation I believe it is tennis and soccer. Apart from this more other sports also needs to be added. From my view in our forum we've got lot of cricket game gamblers and supporters. As few users stated the popularity varies based on the location. Western nations prefer soccer while Asians prefer cricket. Cricket gained importance through special leagues that were conducted every year with players from every country playing for different teams.
