As I can see in this topic many people have their own prediction about next 5 alt-coins that will sky-rocket during the next bull run.
When I read predictions on other places it's almost same, there are all sorts of predictions.
Like others I have my own list I believe in, and my list is longer than just 5 coins. We will see some changes, in that almost everyone
is agreeing, but what changes nobody can say! We need to wait and see what will happen, in that moment we will know who was right
and who was wrong.

It would be the same. Crypto-market volatility will never end, it's my opinion. If coronavirus never took place some other virus would happen, and crypto-market would have fluctuations with or without viruses. But like others I also wonder what is causing this drop. After good news from South Korea, India and France I thought we will see the price rising, but it's dropping, very strange. |

You are right, all other assets dropping too. Virus is hitting everything, people in panic are making terrible moves and entire market is dealing with consequences. This will not last forever. I bought more Litecoin at $61 a few weeks ago, then watched its price rise to the low 80s.
Then everyone started shitting themselves over this Corona Virus bullshit, so the price retreated to $60 again. If I'd been able to predict the future I'd have sold at $80 and bought back in at $60, but I didn't.
So I lost some profits. Farq.
Crypto-market offer the same opportunity almost every week! It sound easy when you say it, sell at the highest and buy again when price drops, but it's not. It happens every week or month, but with different coin involved. I don't regret for missed opportunities, I am a long-term holder and I will not risk my investment to earn more. I wait for some really high prices, weekly and monthly fluctuations do not bother me. Who have nerves and money to spare can try to risk and earn more, but not me. |

From this link it's either $14k or $55k, I believe we will see the price somewhere between. It's OK to be optimistic about the upcoming
halving and it's effects on the price, I know I am optimistic. Price will set up new bottom after halving and I believe new bottom will be over
$10k. Better question is will we see a new ATH this or next year? I believe higher bottom will lead to new ATH, and that will happen next year.

depends on what you think . look at the price of the coin that you like , if you think they show a good green , that could be enough to convince you that they are on bull but not all are showing a green anyway .
when we say market , that means all of the coin . my fave coin was btc and i can see that btc didnt pumped yet on its full potential so i can confidently say that btc isnt on its bullish state but it ist already on its normal state because the value are now back at 10k usd level .
I agree with you Shoreno, everything depends on where you stand and for what you are hoping. Some people see a few days of green and they believe it's a bull run. In my opinion bull run is what happened in 2017. If we see another similar situation where Bitcoin price will have a straight line to up, in just a month to get to $100k for example, that would be a bull run in my opinion. |

Not only Ethereum, but all altcoins are also very volatile unless they are a stable project. Altcoin in the last few months has tended to be easier to go up or down when bitcoin moves. People forget that entire market is volatile, except stable coins. For me that is normal, we expect Ethereum and many other coins to grow in price a lot, but that growing a lot has it's price. It needs to be volatile, to move up and down like crazy before any significant price rise. I am the one who bought Ethereum at +400$ in 2017, but I also bought under 100$ in 2018. I am a long-term holder and I believe in Etheruem future. Current volatility is normal, it happens to all young projects with high goals! |

My investment advice for this and next years is invest and accumulate more, hold as long as you can. Hard times are behind us, the worst

I agree with you, and with others who thinks that Ethereum will rise to $1400, but not this year, maybe next one. It's the thing, we need to be patient and wait for it, maybe next year that will happen, but if not we need to be ready to wait longer if we have too. Probably every person here would like Ethereum to reach $1400 as fast as possible, but in reality things don't work like that. We have to be patient and stay calm, if possible to accumulate! |

He already has Bitcoin, I don't understand why he wish to invest his Bitcoins in some alt-coin. What he need to do is to keep Bitcoins and to invest in Ethereum, in the first place, after that he can invest in other alt-coins. When people wish to have just couple coins, than Bitcoin and Ethereum should be the right choice to make. Everything else can be good, can be more profitable, but this two will be on top for many more years. |

Putting locks on bounty reward is never a good sign to begin with, I never pray for such bounty in my life because there is higher chance of never getting paid, some times it's bounty manager fault, if there will be lock on reward hunters should be the first one to know, in fact it should be on the bounty thread
Everything related with bounty should be in the bounty thread, if it's about coins and payment then it should be transparent. If it's not, that would be a signal that something is wrong and that you need a deeper check before joining or in the best case you should just move from that project to some other. |

There’s a lot of good projects that is under top 100 and to name a few, Mb8coin is my option because of its own technology. I also saw a good project Cartesi but they are still inactive, so watch for that. If you plan to invest outside the top market make sure to study about it and You still have to hold the top altcoins for security purposes.
I agree with you, there are good projects under top 100. The projects with great potential, they need a lot of work, more support, and if they manage to survive this bear market and continue with development they will become better ranked in the future. It's a competition, every team and project wish to be better ranked. But rank depends from people who support it, from people who use it. We need to give a proper support to a project, if we don't contribute projects don't stand a chance. |

The merit system has closed most profitable bounties to the general public, and although something had to be done to stop spam, this has conveniently restricted the access to btc paying bounties... by the way things are going, the bounty system as we know it will end as the hero/legendary bunch will find themselves riding solo....
On the other hand hunters produce shitty work and most projects that accept everyone are scams... so... unfortunately the future of bounty work is grey at the moment
Many people have great comments but they don't have merits for that, nobody gave them. Some managers realized that fact, and they say they will check previous comments and if they are ok they will accept that person even without merits. That is a good thing, because merit system is not fair for all. |
