What about WAVES? No one talks about it anymore!

Waves such a great coin it was, everyone was very optimistic about WAVES blockchain and it's DEX! There were many predictions that the price will be very high, WAVES will hit 50-100 USD, the top-ten coin, the competitor Of Ethereum and so on! But nowadays no one talks about it, no promotion, no speculation, nothing! Why did these changes happen? What do you think guys about it?

Waves is a good project but ever since the major dip happened, thenprice of waves went down and finding it difficult to go up again.  I dont really know what's going on in the waves community but I do love the project and I wish the developers and team wake someday to further develop and promote their project

When king of crypto, Bitcoin itself under pressure, how we can expect altcoins to do well? No new money entering into crypto since past 2+ years... Making it difficult to predict when we will be out of bear phase.

   Waves team is quiet for some time, it's true. But maybe they are quiet and they work hard on upgrades. When they finish
they will make some huge announcement. We can hope it's like that, development is important part it's better for all of us

But I think staying too long is also not good for some investors, they will think if Waves is not worth investing because there is no good progress. A good development will certainly have an impact on increasing demand for the project's tokens / coins, but I don't see that happening at WAVES.

Many altcoins affected of bearish trend so this waves has gone too dip its price. Actually I never heard its update when it comes to development of this project. So many of us hope to see the altcoin will grow and surge again and waves coin since I have also this coin until now.

I don't think it is a bad thing that wave didn't moved up or down too much. It has a good amount of liquidity versus its volume and it is still used to this day for the purposes it was created, so I do not think it is actually that bad to trust waves and put your money on it.

Some coins are created because it has technological improvements, some coins created because owners wants free money, and some coins just like waves created because it can be used for something and that is why waves is not going up or  down too much, there are people who like it and they have it and community basically changes their waves between themselves. It is a "decent" one that nobody loves too much to rank it top 10 but not horrible to think it is a shitcoin.

I actually forgot it's existence  but actually I don't know on what is the development of the project since so far there are so many coins suffer from those but few of them slowly recovered but seems the waves has been away since the development on their side is not on the date, maybe the Dev is letting it happen so better to be aware on consequences for holding that coin today.

To me, I think the reason for such a bad indicator Waves lately is their platform, it is too easy there to make your own token, so their stock exchange has so much skam.

Of course, the waves continue to be located almost at the same place in the rating of the cryptocurrency market, but note that other companies use very little blockchain.  In addition, for quite a long time, I have not observed new projects on the forum that Waves used to create their cryptocurrency.

We can really differentiate between coins that are using waves platform and eth(erc20).I remember that creating coins in waves platform is indeed easy
but the community or most investors do tend to make their own coins using up eth platform thats why we can really see the demand in means of ranking
but somewhat Waves do retain its rank in spite of the gap but i cant say if this one would be worth to risk on.

In any case, to date, I most trust Ethereum and those promising tokens that are created on the erc20 platform.  But nevertheless, at one time, a couple of years ago, the Waves proved to be very good and since then in my portfolio there is a certain amount of coins on the wave platform.  In fact, today the role is played by a greater degree of demand for Ethereum, due to its technical characteristics, and not just the use of the platform wave.

for me altcoins is here to Back Up Bitcoin in future and also to serve their functions for the betterment of financial situation when adoption happens so they are important to us.but we cannot blame people to at least expect profiting so let them take the advantage of volatility most specially when this kind of time comes the event everyone waited long.so expect selling in the next months from all of us here that wishing to have another Hype this 2020.

They have lost the demand and people have already started to get the better coins than them all. Look at how popular tezos is compared with those old platforms and they are nothing right now. They have made a lot of mistakes by never try to done the development properly. investors were feeling bored with those coins.

They are literally one of the leading github commit development teams of all time and you are questioning them as a crypto company?

I mean sure they are getting more and more attention everyday that they didn't had the day before and they are still nowhere near the top 10 levels after that which is a scary thing however you can't say they are not working. The only downfall is the fact that there are coins who worth zero and still get ranked better which scares me the most.

If you have a coin that you work soo hard on and still get basically nothing, why would you continue and even how could you continue without funding as well? So long term I am scared that team would finally may go "well we tried and we worked so hard, harder than many others but people do not want us" and may end up stopping. That would be really the end for them.

Most coins in the market now even the top ones arent really on that situation where they do perform well in the market but it doesnt mean that they are bad.
We know that Waves is being recognized by the community but same as other coins it is just still on the verge when its been affected on the current market condition.
So its no surprise to have these impressions but we cant draw any conclusions.

I like Waves because:
-Developers diligently provide updates
-The price is stable and tends to increase
-Waves can use other tokens as a fee for sending other tokens. So many choices for choosing fees, and the fees are also not high.
