really curious about the price levelling. I fully understand that the price will be higher to secure delivery, but 3 times higher? Can you be more specific about this?
Present value interest factored. The sooner you have these miners before the difficulty skyrockets, more profits. OP is justified in asking price. If you order from Bitmain now, you will receive Aug 1. I calculated 1.5 LTC per L3+ at current difficulty per day. At 29.30 per LTC, talking about close to $45 a day in gross profits. It only runs on 800w too. Probably be $12 a day in August headed towards $8 a day by Oct. I agree 100% I think by August you are looking at $12 per day, maybe lower if the Litecoin bubble pops and we go back to $20's or it could go to $100 per LTC lol... and lot of ppl are gonna make lots of $$$$ Speaking of which, while btc is on a straight rush and an alt sea of red....LTC rebounded really quick lets see if price can hold up. $50 price point would be lovely

Will be interesting no doubt. Wondering how many people will be in on it since most dont like to cash out into fiat but would rather buy it for btc. Wonder if the seller would do a face to face pickup with btc being used as payment?
Negative, I've already inquired.. I would think AT101ET is probably right then. If it was a bitcoiner they would know this is a prized piece and will probably get more in btc than fiat after all is said and done....maybe not lets see

What is the error on the coin? The date year? Off by a year maybe? Not familiar with physical bitcoins in noticing such things which would be more apparent to most here. Sorry for my ignorance in the matter. But would still like to be in the know cause fiat coins shown error make it more valuable if not for the one for bitcoins.
The name "Casascius" is spelled wrong on the hologram.
|
|
|
Current bid is priced at nearly 80% of face value...not to mention the numismatic value. Interesting indeed! This is the first time I've seen a Casascius coin on ebay going for less than face. Nuts! If only they accepted bitcoin a few more people on this Forum would be players in this auction.
Its only cause people wait until the last 10 seconds to bid....no way this goes for less than face.

Hmmm should be an interesting finish.

Will BTC be used by almost everyone in 2022?
Nope. I know very few "Millennials" who use it, yet they are the most connected people around. There is no way that my Boomer generation will adopt BTC as is, it's just too complicated and clumsy. "Not ready for primetime."
There are not enough merchants who accept it. In my eyes, this is perhaps the major stumbling block.
There is ALWAYS the possibility of unknown types of future attacks (of various sorts) against the Bitcoin Ecosystem.
BTC is too volatile for mass use.
While I wish BTC well (and have a nice little stake), I think it will move slowly.
It will get used more once some of the technicality of it gets absorbed....computers were only used by a select few in the beginning. The easier it got through advancements and ease of use drove some of the adoption, which is still needed for bitcoin. Once its easy it will be adopted by more.

Hey whats up...been awhile since ive checked hyper back out. Ive sold all my old coins when hyper started to flounder. Will be watching this thread but ine thing of concern to me is the stake rate....isnt 5%/ month an awful alot. If interest and buying power doesnt keep up, the price of hyper will get squeezed all the way down. That is a lot of inflation pressure to keep up with. Maybe im looking at this wrong?

So can someone wrap this up in a nutshell? New lead developer took over viacoin development essentially because of its listing already on polo. What is the future goal of via? Sorry if its been laid out before but someone just turned me onto via and am looking into it. Thanks
I came here a couple of months ago with the same question and you can read more here: https://www.reddit.com/r/viacoin/comments/5px84n/summary_on_what_happened_past_months_new_lead_dev/The current accomplishments can all be seen in the opening page of this topic. Will be watching this but seems interesting, worth looking at thanks.

Is it worth buying one of these that have a july 20-30 ship date?
The million dollar question. As of now it looks like yes good idea but things can turn sour quick by way of diff to price change. No easy way to answer that one. And to add to the question is what will bitcoin do in the 2 months its tied up with bitmain.....

Dont know if this can be considered byt here was a mitchell note error auction.
I'm looking for normal note auctions in this series though. More specifically, I'd like to see price differentiation for each note range (BG4, Mitchell, minerjones). I don't think this can be compared though. We shouldn't compare the effect of coin error coins (e.g. Cas.) on the price of notes. I do agree that the price was rather low. Yeah i know its a bit of a one off lauda i am interested too, to know the differences. Sky sorry for kinda jacking your thread but im interested in any and all papersafe products and what people personally value them at.

Are all the custom distribution notes sold out?
I would say so, yes.
20 by bg4 20 by Minerjones 20 by Mitchell
Is my assumption right that the numbers #200 to #220 are by bg4, and #220 till #240 by Mitchell? I'm just wondering which ones I have, since I have multiple and none have ever been opened. It would be nice to know what the market prices one of these notes at though. I haven't seen one on auction for a while. Dont know if this can be considered byt here was a mitchell note error auction. Went for way lower than i thought it would go. Dont know of too many others that went up for auction recently https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1822304.0

Wish i could help you out sky. Had an error note about a month ago. Smart man by buying these up. Think papersafe's will be some of my personal favorite collectables for years to come. Good luck in your search.

Use them for something else. Asics rule scrypt and these would be better served elsewhere now.

It all depends really. There are some coins i mine in which i hold due to where they are at in a trading range and there are others that i insta sell. Depends on the coin/price/timing. There really isnt one solud answer, at least for me.

Dont know what your garage set up looks like but you can certainly instal one of these mini split AC systems. They are ductless and efficient. If you do buy fujitsu.....dont buy any knockoff crap if will bust in a year. http://www.fujitsu-general.com/us/residential/index.htmlIf your garage has a good seal then this will help with heat.

Seems about right. Scrypt mining is decent right now until the L3s flush out the profits. I expect it will go down by the month as miners keep coming out.

Ok what is fair to you? Got to start somewhere..
For you? 250 XMR Has smoothie ever come out and say how many total sets are out in the wild?
