8821  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: March 01, 2017, 02:45:13 AM
In my opinion the halving is very good .as because of halving the price of bitcoins would go high up as the demand of bitcoin would increase.it is also done to make the price of bitcoin make more stable and i dont think it was any bad intentions.
Nope, Halving is not pure "good" effects on bitcoin because in the other side, Halving can be a risky event for bitcoin because it halves the block reward which will make the miners to earn less than they earn before and also if the prices dump after halving then it will be a hype for the other bitcoin users to sell their bitcoins too. Not all the times, the prices go up because it is always up to the investors, miners and hodlers.
8822  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: March 01, 2017, 02:38:07 AM
Some newcomers such price drop is taken very seriously. After Bitcoin will become cheaper by $ 100, they begin to hysteria and sell everything

It's a common practice in basically every market. They panic sell at a loss when the price goes down, and they buy back their coins at a premium at the time the price goes up again. Point is that they after a while figure out what they did wrong, so they won't make the same mistake again. And there are always people that never learn as they continue to make rookie mistakes. These people should just quit trading.
There are people that are natural trades and there are people that are not, so for those that cannot stomach seeing the price of bitcoin going down then it is better for them to get out of trading for the rest of their lives.
for those who just came in and did not have much experience against their trading Akak tend to panic on price changes and tend to sell everything that does not apply to people who have more experience against trading
This is very true. Most of the panic sellers or those guys that always doing sell offs whether they are already experiencing negative profit on their account are tend to be newbies or the users that are just came in the game because they didn't know already how to play this game and how the bitcoin can bounce back from a sudden dip.
8823  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: February 28, 2017, 10:18:02 PM
I think there is nothing special about the future of the paper money because there is nothing to change because it is impossible for bitcoin to replace paper money and also paper money supports by the government which makes it nearly impossible to beat by just a piece of technology like bitcoin.
8824  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: February 28, 2017, 10:10:39 PM
There is a lot of ways in earning bitcoin online, you can start earning bitcoin using this forum. Yes, by joining signature campaign which offers to pay a decent amount of bitcoin without requiring a lot of effort because all you gonna need to do is just post or share your thoughts in any kind of section or thread then you will earn money without noticing it. 8825  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: February 28, 2017, 03:44:31 PM
Actually I think I joined the bitcoin train a little too late.
I was fully aware about bitcoins and their possibilitys, but for some reason I did not participate enough.
Just a little faucet and other stuff that is not worth doing it.
I had the chance to make a really good investment and missed it. But maybe it's not too late!
Yes it is not too late to join the train that is going for a bright future. Maybe the price is little too high but after a few years you will appreciate it a lot and you will say to yourself that i hope that i bought bitcoin on that price. There is no late in doing investment because it is how you start doing it. You can start investing with the price now and just continue it regularly and you will not notice that you already have a lot of bitcoin.
8826  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: February 25, 2017, 11:58:02 AM
To encourage local businesses to accept bitcoin as their another kind of payment system, we should explain how the bitcoin works and what are the good benefit of accepting and owning a bitcoin in a very short and simple way because if we explain it on a long and complicated way then they will lose their interest.
8827  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: February 25, 2017, 11:49:25 AM
Yes as of now, I am planning to build a small grocery store and i think that this kind of plan will work because in our area there is no grocery store available and most of the people here go to malls just to buy their grocery and now i can take advantage of that and make some money by building a near grocery store so the lazy kind of person will buy at my store and not to the mall.
8828  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 25, 2017, 11:41:15 AM
Faucets are the source of earning. I was suggested to try with the epay.info as an legitimate faucet provider for most of the digital currencies. Also on the side learning to know more about the earning methods for a better earning.

how much you can earn with faucet? I see freebitcoin pay around 170 satoshi each claim...
So with 100 claims you can just pay a tx fee!

Personally I earn a good amount between trading and betting, but the time Cheesy (and money to invest Cheesy) are the only limit Wink
I get your point that faucet is not very worth that you came in the point that the faucet claims is only just use on transaction fees.

Bitcoin trading needs a profit in order for you to buy some altcoins , The more capital you have is the more profit you can gain on buying and selling altcoins.
Faucets are worthless because they can't give you enough profit to support yourself in daily basis and it can't give you fair income to pay your expenses in doing faucet. Bitcoin trading or Altcoin trading is one of the best source of income because you can take advantage of price volatility and make some profits much better than faucet.
8829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: February 25, 2017, 11:23:30 AM
Bitcoin shop? What do you mean? If you into building a shop and using bitcoin as a payment method then that would be a great idea and that can attract a lot of people because they will be curious of what are you into and what is bitcoin. Big city means it contains big people who have a lot of money which can help for the bitcoin to be more stronger and for the price to go up higher and higher.
8830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not dead yet but should be. on: February 25, 2017, 11:13:35 AM
Bitcoin will not die because it has a great supportive community and also it has a lot of investors that are sustaining the bitcoin price and also a lot of miners who sustains the bitcoin network. I think bitcoin will die after 10 to 20 years because of some issues but now? Nope, bitcoin will not and bitcoin will stay for more years.
8831  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it profitable to run a Bitcoin faucet in 2017 on: February 25, 2017, 11:06:03 AM
Yes it is profitable to run bitcoin faucet in 2017 because there still a lot of bitcoin users who uses faucet sites in terms of addition to their earnings. Make sure that you have a stable website and you are paying such a decent amount of bitcoin to sustain the loyalty of your bitcoin faucet users.
8832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Love Fast BTC today! on: February 25, 2017, 10:45:20 AM
I already experience fast bitcoin confirmation for now but a few weeks ago it takes hour to confirm and now it just takes my bitcoins 20 minutes to confirm and that was a great experience because we all know that bitcoin network is getting bigger amount of users so i already expect to wait for a bit long time for my next future transactions.
8833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you remember the very first time you sent a Bitcoin transaction? on: February 25, 2017, 10:29:59 AM
I still remember my very first bitcoin transaction and that was in the month of january and i transfer my earnings in a faucet site to my web bitcoin wallet and that was an excited feeling because that was like a stepping stone in pushing more and earning more bitcoin and now i am here earning much better amount of bitcoin than faucets.
8834  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Warning][Cloudbleed bug] Change your passwords & 2FA & API keys on: February 25, 2017, 10:08:08 AM
I don't see anyone talking about this here so I'll start it here because of its importance and move it to services discussion later.

TL;DR: Bitcointalk is not affected, there is a small chance exchanges and web wallets are affected. To be safe change your password and enable 2 Factor Authentication.

You may have heard about the Cloudflare bug that leaked lots of sensitive information if not read more about the details here:
https://blog.cloudflare.com/incident-report-on-memory-leak-caused-by-cloudflare-parser-bug/

In any case you should change all your passwords on services that were using Cloudflare and are affected by this bug in order to be safe. You can see more information and the list of affected services here:
https://github.com/pirate/sites-using-cloudflare/blob/master/README.md

Also there is a website to check if a website was using Cloudflare (not sure how reliable it is):
http://www.doesitusecloudflare.com/

Name|Uses cloudflare (May Be Affected)
Bitcointalk|No (does not use Cloudflare)
Bitstamp|No (does not use Cloudflare)
Blockchain.info|YES
Bitfinex|YES
Coinbase|YES
Localbitcoins|YES
Poloniex|YES
Bittrex|YES
Kraken|YES
Bitpay|YES
Btc-e|YES
Cex.io|YES
C-cex|YES
Yobit|YES
* These sites may or may not be affected by the bug, but it is safer if you change your password immediately and enable 2FA. Better safe than sorry
** Just checked a couple of gambling sites, and they all use Cloudflare. Not going to list them here since they are of less importance but you have been warned.

Help me complete the table.
Thanks for this update. This helps a lot of users from different site to be alert for this cloud bleed bug which can cause for leaking sensitive personal informations. This is a big deal issue and we all need to pay attention for this kind of issue to avoid getting hacked. As of now, I don't receive any emails notifications from my account but i will change password as soon as possible, thanks again OP for alerting us.
8835  Economy / Goods / Re: Found this HODL snapback haha swagg on: February 25, 2017, 09:58:15 AM
Nice minimalistic design. But quite pricey for a hat, isn't it? I still want to own one though. Guess the bitcoin logo made this merchandise expensive.
Yes the design is cool and the other cap looks perfect for casual outfits but the only downside is the price which is very expensive for a cap Roll Eyes. If the price will go down a little bit then i will buy at least one of those caps because i like how it looks and also those HODL and the small Bitcoin logo.
8836  Economy / Speculation / Re: Soon BTC will pass Gold Price. When? Comment with a [POLL] on: February 25, 2017, 09:40:55 AM
Within a month is a comfortable zone to choose for beating or surpassing the price of gold. We all now that the bitcoin already surpassed the All Time High price of bitcoin and now we are looking forward for a bit more. Within this month bitcoin will pass the gold price and set a gap at least 100$ within its price.
8837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: February 25, 2017, 09:29:24 AM
I really like bitcoin because it convenient Grin Grin
Agree, with bitcoin transactions secure and make us convenient. And the most important thing is bitcoin can we make an investment in the future. When many people do not believe fiat money then bitcoin is an answer to counter inflation. I sure bitcoin is the future money and will replace fiat money.
I agree to all your statement but that "will replace fiat money" I doubt that because that is impossible thing to happen, can you imagine what is needed to defeat fiat? and that is the government of a certain country. Bitcoin will never replace fiat and bitcoin will just be an addition to the payment system of the country.
8838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: February 25, 2017, 09:22:50 AM
I believe that bitcoin already does overcome paypal but not on users because paypal comes first and it has a lot of users around the world and that what is bitcoin lacking of, If bitcoin can attract more users around the world and also businesses then it will be a true proof that bitcoin already overcome paypal.
8839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: February 25, 2017, 09:09:23 AM
Eventually in the future, bitcoin will be replaced by another crypto currency but not soon. Bitcoin will be available till 2023 for mining. After that bitcoin will remain the costliest crypto currency. However, those who have already set up their expensive mining system, what will they do?

They will obviously find another crypto currency to mine and that crypto currency will become the next big thing after bitcoin. Everything in life, has a expiry date and bitcoin is no exception. But that is not going to happen anytime soon.
Yeah, In real life everything has an expiry date and bitcoin does not have exception on that. Bitcoin supply is very limited and year after years the supply are being lessen by the investors and the miners, so after at least 4-5 years we will experience some changes on bitcoin because those who will get benefits in bitcoin for long term are those investors and miners who invested a lot of money. After 10 years bitcoin will face its best enemy and the miners might transfer to another cryptocurrency because of the volume of users, money and other kind of small issues that can cause for them to not earn a decent amount.
8840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Everywhere? Not yet... on: February 25, 2017, 08:54:24 AM
Bitcoin is not yet everywhere because there still some countries that don't accept bitcoin and also there is a lot of people who didn't know what is bitcoin yet and what are the advantages of using bitcoin. If bitcoin will be popular and introduce in different social medias then it can easily spread to anywhere and soon you will see bitcoin everywhere.
