I have realized that most traders set daily targets of profit they want to make. Do people really stay on their computers for hours and hours looking at the markets? Research and familiarizing with current trends is the key that most lack and this is why they cannot spot investment opportunities like major shifts in the market of a particular coin. Although some spot major shifts, chasing the bull has seen many losing money. Sometimes the best trade is a No Trade. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Best profits to make are the ones from the long term and not short term trading If you ask me and in that case you don't really need to watch the market and stuff 24/7 Instead you could just check the price twice/thrice a day . Sometimes things are simply not going to go as you want ( specially daily as prices could stay so stable and don't move) so yeah I consider day trading as being dead.

Cryptocalypse, is there such word like that? oh wait I just made it by Myself even Earth has it's end or what we call apocalypse they say, but do you think crypto currency will have to? It's probably going to happen but not in our lifetime , cash was there for a long time (and still exists) then credit cards came (even If they aren't used in all countries till now) and now crypto currencies came and will take their place and after that , a new technology will come out... endless loop (until earth dies of course).

I'm not able to send messages in the chatbox for some reasons ... I deposited BTC for the first time and nothing is showing on my account (nothing on TOTAL BALANCE , ON ORDERS and on PENDING either) , It's the first time I use the website so bear with me.

LocalBitcoins offers a face to face option and your app only make things faster (a little bit) but not secure , people are scared of this kind of transactions as things could go wrong sometimes and you can see stories on the web about them... I personally wouldn't recommend continuing developing this application. Instead , you could start a unique project. In my opinion , the safest way to trade BTC is when your privacy is not compromised (no ID,Passport required and no one sees your face (the case here) ) .

Full of scammers. Literally 1 in 20 might be here for legitimate reasons, and thats a long shot.
Well gg forum its been real.
I can't say those numbers are accurate but avoiding scams couldn't be easier around here. If we speak about services then It's really easy to spot a scam , now If we speak about individuals then most of the time It 's the traders fault that they don't use an escrow for the transaction and sometimes It just doesn't matter If someone trade with an untrusted member using a reversible payment method as chargeback is always possible.

I have a friend who doesn't have credit card, only debit but he would like to buy Bitcoins with it. Can you recommend some good and trustworthy exchanger where he could buy Bitcoins instantly with debit card? He is European citizen. I don't know any because I don't buy Bitcoins this way.
Virwox.com should be a good way to buy using MasterCard or Visa , It's trustworthy and exists for long time now and It doesn't really matter from where he is. There is also no need to provide any real life information's such as ID or passport but to rise the limits , some time is required . First transaction should take sometime (It's the case for most websites I guess) , from the second and above everything should be instant.

It's being like a month now , I still need some reviews or feedback from anyone who have tested the Omniwallet please (I mostly want to know about the security part)
You just make me curious to check this wallet and I don't see anything special there. The first part where you need to log in in their website is a big no for me regarding the security part. It's a web wallet so the security can never be at the top (website can just go down together with your funds). The only appealing thing they have is the multi currency support. In fact is not that much as an organized person can keep different wallets in the same PC without having any trouble. Lastly they have multi sig which should be a true security measure, maybe be it is but still it remains a web wallet which offers multi currency and multi signature. If that's ok with you then your choice, I would never touch a web wallet no matter how good it may be. I mostly chose this wallet because of the ability to both read and send omni tokens and couldn't find any alternatives for that. as for "online" , that's what I'm asking , do they keep anything in their sides ? have you used them yourself or just giving an opinion ?

You should contact him asking him to make a deal in P.M and see If he accepts using an escrow or not , that should proof something. I personally wouldn't even bother posting on a newbie thread where there is a self-moderated activated If I were you.

I heard rumors that ICONOMI will be on a polo this week?
We are hearing those rumors since week now so just don't believe it , the best you could do now is buy from Liqui or Kraken and hold until It's available on Poloniex because the price will probably not stay the same as now.

Hi and thanks for responding guys , while comparing both the web and mobile app , It seems like you still didn't fix the bug in the web from the last time (when I reported it) :
This feature works just fine in the mobile and you can clearly see from to where the transaction got sent or from where It got received while in Web It only state "received bitcoin" .
Fixed, not sure how it got through if you reported it, but I also don't recall a report of it (which could still be my mistake xD) will be in the next release / deploy! It's being sometime since I reported it and It wasn't you who answered me , It was neutraLTC and he told me he will send the issue to the developers . anyway thanks , happy It got fixed. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) btw , shouldn't the PROMO code thing be available in web version too ?

I don't even consider Coinbase or Circle as a wallet as they don't even give you access to your private keys. If you are going to use one then I suggest btc.com (It's HD and multi signature too) and If you are going to use one of phone then Mycelium should be your first choice.

It's not that hard as the membership on Netflix is expensive so anything less then 5$ should be considered as a cracked.
So, if I for any reason wanted to sell my account with 1 month subscription remaining for less than $5 that would be considered cracked? Note: This is just a hypothetical scenario to show why picking a limit is harder than it seems. It's how Sentry MBA (the software used to crack) export the lists of valid accounts and the easiest way to spot them is also when they "account will last for x months guaranteed" or "you shouldn't change the password and email" .
Yes, this is likely a 99% positive indicator that the accounts have been cracked. I would not mind doing something about this, but ultimately it is up to theymos. I'm going to contact theymos regarding this then and see what happens. In the meantime , the CS:GO guy seem to be back under a new name : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1672341.0 and those are not the only cheap accounts he is selling ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=902295;sa=showPosts - also selling Spotify , NBA and other accounts).

Happy to hear you like the app! The Promo Code section is used occasionally for campaigns and contests to reward users with a code a small amount of BTC Hi and thanks for responding guys , while comparing both the web and mobile app , It seems like you still didn't fix the bug in the web from the last time (when I reported it) : ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FurtQxZa.png&t=663&c=ymYvici05XkZwg) This feature works just fine in the mobile and you can clearly see from to where the transaction got sent or from where It got received while in Web It only state "received bitcoin" .

When placing Facebook ads , It should be a Facebook page , right ? do you need to have full access (like having the account that controls it) to the page to place ads ? or you could advertise it even without controlling it ?

Very big, ah? What's the total investment?
What a challange for all miners... But what about the 51% attack question?
Very interesting, is this the datacenter that was discussed around here previously that was a co-ownership and that at full capacity would have a huge share of the networks hashrate? If so I guess this is further proof why they won't have 50%+ hashrate, it's not going to be exclusively for mining Bitcoin... I guess Bitmain just wants to venture in other things beyond Bitcoin and they do very well. Using renewable energies is also very good. I wonder if they can run miners cheaper than, say, HaoBTC. Also, this thread should probably be on mining since it talks about something that is designed to (also) be a mining facility ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I was going to ask the exact same question after posting this , I checked the comments on the blog post I gave the link to above and here is what It says : ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FHz9fRaE.png&t=663&c=JLohhQ0Xp98q9A) I'm not sure If I got this right but If they did they would have between 51% & 75% haspower , wouldn't that screw us all ?

The planned data center would be capable of consuming up to 135 megawatts of power, which will add it to the list of the highest powered data centers in the world. Wind and solar energy would be the primary source of power for the data center. It is specially designed for high-performance computing and, considering the interest of most investors in the data center, mining of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin will be its major application. Here is the article from Bitmain blog : https://blog.bitmain.com/en/bitmain-to-set-high-standards-with-state-of-the-art-xinjiang-data-center/

I will answer questions that I both understood and could answer : 3. Satoshi Nakamoto with no doubt I suppose ? 5. Mt.gox theft which should make people more aware on how they shouldn't trust third party websites , The Pizza that got bought for 10,000 BTC (more here : http://www.forbes.com/sites/ericmack/2013/12/23/the-bitcoin-pizza-purchase-thats-worth-7-million-today/#72ebf2e06449 ) 6. Andreas Antonopoulos is definitely a guy that you should do an interview with , Trace Mayer too (He is a BTC investor in Bitpay , Kraken , Armory wallet , BitcoinMagazine and other succesfull projects) as for the questions It's really up to you but as Trace Mayer is an investor (you should ask him economical questions more then anything else)
