Well I'm not saying you're wrong... the price can stil drop lower. I just can't understand the words about exchange going dark. Was nowhere written nothing about that. And I really don't care much in which way we are going... Not selling my btc for at least a year, while I will be happy to trade with ltc and getting more of them  You can also double your coins hypothetically by selling before a plunge and buying back half price. If I had done that in 2011, 2012, or last year, I would be a multimillionaire now. you can also double your coins with 15 well timed %5 swings  |

i think, this is just a bug they found in OpenSSL and issued a fix, anyone using a particular feature in OpenSSL is affected and must upgrade.
don't forget to update your Bitcoin-Qt/Bitcoin client.

You serious? Why? lol I can tell you how I felt when I saw Stamp was still not allowing logins, and I'm not pleased of not finding any reminder to change my password at all now that I can login. I withdrew most of my coins back to personal wallet but I can imagine weaker hands just selling off and ordering cash withdrawals. wtf, there was a patch issued for SSL and they installed it immediately this should inspire confidence, not FUD. |

On November 22nd and 23rd, 2013 an on site due diligence was carried out in respect of Bitstamp Ltd. on behalf of a 3rd party.
Bitstamp’s balance of BTC was validated by temporarily creating the largest single Bitcoin wallet and in the process the largest Bitcoin transaction in history.
The report identified that Bitstamp held 100% of validated BTC balance and USD funds. No material issues were raised as a consequence of the 3rd party’s investigations.
