8861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling worth to try for newbie? on: September 11, 2016, 04:53:20 AM
I would not advise anyone to take up gambling.
It is great when you win but it is very painful when you lose. Especially right after a match that you were stressing over to finally conclude so you can collect your winnings. Embarrassed
It feels like hitting rock bottom if you really want to know how it feels. Undecided

Impact of winnings and loses is disproportional for most player, for example winning $100 won't satisfy many people and they will bet more, while losing the same $100 will hurt a lot, so overall "value" of $100 bet would bet pretty negative.
8862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin Casinos are really worth it? on: September 11, 2016, 04:49:13 AM
A well established and profitable site isn't in need of investment usually. There may be some which need investment to increase bankroll to raise the limits to attract more players and big players. Last year I invested in some site and then withdrew my money after few days when I understood the way of making profit and percentage. I personally will not go for investment because risks always are and profit is not that big as people think at start.

There's always a risk with all sorts of investments, but it's much smaller than in gambling. And investing in casino is safer than in some other business, because they have reliable profit (if they manage they bankroll properly).

For the best profit, you can find a balance between sites reputation and bankroll size, sites with smaller bankroll will bring better profits, but might be riskier, as they can turn into scam.
8863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gamble small amount i win and when i gamble big i loose. on: September 11, 2016, 04:40:27 AM
The amount of bet has zero effect on the result in any game where provably fair system is implemented. That is other thing when you stick with martingale or any other method which you use to repeat again and again for long sessions. That thing may have effect as house can calculate your style or can rearrange the appearance of results. That will still be fair even you loose and someone with small bets will win.

If a site is provably fair, it can't "rearrange the appearnce of results", because this system is based on cryptography, and by using your custom client seeds you have control over results, meaning it can't be predicted or tampered by anyone.
8864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: September 11, 2016, 04:37:27 AM
Many people don't like slots because of different reasons like high house edge or considering it boring way of playing. I like slots games same much as I like anything else in casino games. I often visit casino near my home as well to spend some time of slots machines in reality too. This is one of the way for me to make some money always as I am lucky in these games.
I always used to think that slots are just made to give bonuses like free spins and all by winning on other games, its quite surprising to me that someone actually spends his own bitcoins and gamble with slots.

Reason for such thinking is that slots are totally controllable by admins and no way to verify the result.

I don't know about other gambling sites, but I played slots on crypto-games and they have the same provably fair system as in dice and all other games, so I'm sure there's no cheating, but the house edge is very high, so it's not a good game for winning.
8865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: September 11, 2016, 04:32:46 AM
You can simply stop by thinking about all the money your spending on it, you have to control yourself.
What also can help is social control by your family or girlfriend ( something in your nearby area)that is willing to do this for you, most likely it will really help you.

Many gamblers think that if they have previously lost, they have higher chances to win later, it's called gamblers fallacy. And not all people have girlfriends or good relations with family, so they are left alone with their addiction and depression.
8866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 11, 2016, 04:19:40 AM
If I were rich, I would make one crazy highroll session and never return again, there are much more better ways to spend excess money, like charity or donations on some projects you'd like to see, or you can support your favorite artists. I think those things would mean much more than gambling for most people.
8867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: September 11, 2016, 04:11:51 AM
As of now yes there are some safest method in gambling people are lazy to find it how it works and if you find one dont share it to anybody so yout luck will never leave your side hihi kidding sharing is caring play smart play with strategy play with low bets play with all happines play with your guts

There's no way to play "smart" or with "strategy" in games like dice, slots, roulette, etc., no matter what you do, you will not get over the house edge, meaning you can't expect to see profit in the long run (lots of low bets).
8868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 11, 2016, 04:00:36 AM
Gambling promises easy money. With little effort we can gain huge profit. Thats why people keep coming back to do it day by day no matter what the result is. Common sense is no longer valid if we've become addicted to gambling.

If this is the thinking of a new gambler (to gain profit), then he/she will surely get busted. Fact is, there is always a house edge in any casino whether online or offline. If you will not combat that first, then you will eventually lose and feel depressed. How to combat this house edge? you may ask me.. Well, this will be a long process, training, and more study to do as what pro gamblers does.

It's very rare that player is in position to eliminate house edge and get and edge of his own, it's only possible in betting and some types of poker, but it will take a lot of time and money to get on that level, and still your results would be subject for variance, so it's not a very reliable source of income.
8869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 11, 2016, 03:39:40 AM
hi

i am getting addicted to gambling. And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

Any suggestions are welcome  Smiley

Regards
i think you are fond of funny gambling game . i will suggest you to gamble with free btc which can be only to use betting at that site . the site is satoshimines. i hope this site will give a better way to gambling without loss . since if you will look to deposit and play then you can try . but i will suggest dont gamble with btc or money .

If you really want to stay away from gambling, better not play even with free money because this will eventually entice you to deposit real money, especially when you get bored winning with play money. By not playing even with free money, you are on the good position to more forward and do something worthwhile and not even wasting time with playing fake money.

Withdrawal from gambling might be very hard for some people, but it's true that they shouldn't play even with freerolls. I'd recommend them to play poker or some other games with their friends, who will make sure they don't bet with real money and will help to socialize at the same time.
8870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 10, 2016, 04:34:06 PM
Probably because why wouldnt you want free money?

Your brain doesnt care if you could loose it  Shocked

But they are actually not free, each bet "costs" a percentage called house edge. Gamblers who are addicted because they want to win "free money" just don't understand the simple math behind gambling, so they gamble more than they can afford to lose, eventually lose, get frustrated. depressed, etc.
8871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 10, 2016, 11:45:44 AM
Every monetary investment is a gamble. Every time you trust someone you are taking a gamble. I would definitely gamble if I had 50 million dollars. I find it relieves stress. However, I'd probably gamble my money on supporting the pursuit of animal rights and technological singularity. But I would still play Poker, Dragon's Tale, EVE Online and Heroes of the Storm for fun. Like... Gambling is definitely stressful, but it's something repetitive and gratifying that I can do without drama from other people. Just me and random chance. That said - my betting limit would probably be $800 if I had 50 million dollars. Right now my betting limit is whatever I earn off of faucets. If I were to bet more than 0.0016% of my networth on something, it would either be for a good cause or for a positive EV (e.g. investments).

In casino gambling players almost always have negative expectation, while investors, if the are skilled enough, have positive expectation, meaning they have very high chances to see profit.

Gambling is "all or nothing, right now", investing is "more value, but later".
8872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 10, 2016, 11:41:25 AM
You can invest in a gambling site's bankroll. There are a number of gambling sites that you can invest in such as betking.io and bitvest.io.
Investing in a gambling sites is so promising as they can give you consistent income, the business is really good for the operators so we should follow them if we want to earn money in gambling.

As investing in gambling becomes more popular, investors profits will be decreasing, so investors should look for other opportunities. I personally made 16x profit by buying stocks of one company here on bitcointalk, but sadly I invested only very small sum. ICO's can also be very profitable, but also very risky.
8873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 10, 2016, 11:35:50 AM
If you can not control yourself,  I think you should ask your family to  help you to manage your money,  watch you and  stop you going to gambling . The  you will find no way or  lose interest to gamble.

Many addicts don't recognize their addiction, some are very ashamed to tell others about it, especially to family. So, if you suspect someone from your friends or family members to have gambling addiction, approach them and offer your help, because they probably won't talk about it first.
8874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: September 10, 2016, 11:24:01 AM
I fell in love again with slots after winning about 130 credits ( started from my 10 casino free credits in betcoin.ag ). I must say that, slots game is better than any dice game since it have good quality graphics which is really entertaining. There was a time that I've earned (almost endless) free spins. Slots are really cool and exciting!!

You're right, slots have usually the best animations, while in other games there's not much to animate. Sadly, slots have one of the highest house edges, so I'd presonnaly not recommend to wager big sums on this game.
8875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: September 10, 2016, 11:02:59 AM
For me if you can make profit in the long run then you have skill and lucked on your side because for me theres no 100% chance that you are making profit in the long run because sometimes if you spend too much time on that website you can probably lose everything.

bet discipline so I think it's possible to win in the long term, although it is not possible for you always win, but if you are smart to manage everything up, it should be able to win in the long run. I like playing every weekend and bet on sports betting, always run well and every week there is always benefit.

I doubt that any discipline or strategies can help you win in the long run (meaning you will have positive expectation) just because casino has an edge and there's nothing you can do about it.
8876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 07, 2016, 04:54:33 PM
i don't know, maybe a little if get bored with something that usually i do everyday,  Grin
to be honest i would definitely gamble then because gambling brings me a lot of good time and i think that in this way i would spend a good quality time
Definitely I will be on your side, I would not hesitate to gamble also when I become rich. For me, being rich is an opportunity to be debt free and you have your freedom to do everything whatever makes you happy and gambling makes me happy so I go with it and play.
Yeah gambling could be a lot more fun when you have pile of cash/bitcoins to gamble, if i were rich i wouldn't spend much on gambling.

Casinos have limit for maximum bet size, so some rich people are unable to make big bets and have fun, otherwise casinos would be at risk. This is the reason why so many of them accept investments, everyone want to attract highrollers while keeping risk of ruin very low.

Alright the first month results and summary are up on our site here:

http://bitcoingamblingreviews.com/bitcoin-gambling-investments-112/
Really interested, i will try this myself, only with 0.5 btc to every of those sites. Thanks for review!
yup his strategy is impressing everyone. But he spent 5 BTC and he got 0.3 BTC profit in 4 weeks. You are telling you will spend 0.5 BTC so i think the profit may come around 0.03 or lesser than this. So you only think it is worthful or not.

oh wow thats a lot of money, you will most probably lose it all though so i would definitely not do that because it is too risky for me

Putting 5 BTC in a big risk is really great. I appreciate him. I wish him all the best for his risk. I hope his profit may double this week.

I don't think that there is much of a risk when you invest in 5 different casinos, even if one will take a big hit, other will cover it. The worst thing that can happen is you will lose 1-3% over a month, but even this is extremely unlikely. Casinos are meant to bring profit.
8878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how many gambling sites have been hacked? on: September 07, 2016, 04:32:35 PM
I don't know but until right now i never heard about that even there I think that are just the way for run with the money.

It is indeed very true that now there is no news that says there is no gambling sites that are compromised. But I think that it's because they provide excellent security for any gambling sites owned, hopefully it can be done properly in order not to do hacking

Exchanges take much more security measures, yet they are hacked more often than gambling sites. Why? Because gambling sites store most of their bankroll on cold wallets, so it's just impossible to steal from them. Also, gambling sites are much simpler than exchanges, so there is less room for exploits.
8879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 07, 2016, 04:27:56 PM
I think because of money the gambling is so addicting. Yes everyone one loves money, if it is coming easily without any risk means all people will try once. But in gambling making money is very tough. In the beginning, we just start to play. End of the day we lose our money, and we play again to get our lose back. This will repeat every day.  Like this people will addict to this gambling.
Yes, all money involved things are addictive to human. In other words all interesting things are so addictive. That is the reason most of people are getting addicted to sex/alcohols. Overstaying could be the another reason, when you are keep on doing same thing then your mind will not think about your routine life and slowly fade away from being  normal.

No, addictions are driven by joy, not money. Gambling is addicting because like feeling of risk and/or winning. If people were thinking only about making money, they would pick something better, like investments for example. Gambling mostly serves as entertainment, sometimes a very costly one.
8880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 07, 2016, 04:22:20 PM
I will not choose any of them cause in the long run you will only loose on both, cause both of them are risky it is better to save  than gambling or investing.
It is risky if you don't have enough knowledge in gambling and investing, for me, when you compare the two investing is better than gambling because if you have enough knowledge in investing you will really earn money in a long run and you must really need more patience when you invest to become succesful in investing.
lol even you need a knowledge to live , or you will just being fooled.

knowledge and experience are the most important thing if you talking about investment , but in gambling you don't need anything like that , you just need a super unlimited bankroll , nothing else.

Even with super unlimited bankroll you can't expect to be in profit over the long run, because casinos have limit on maximum win per one bet and house edge. So, if you have a big amount of money, it's better to invest and diversify to be extra secure.
