I never heard about that overheating issue and short lifetime for BitBox02 wallet and I know warranty is 2 years for them (CoboVault is offering one year warranty, Trezor waranty has two years, ledger has one year warranty), but people reported problems for other hardware wallets also, like display not working after some time or they just die without any explanation, so there is no perfect device and it is important to keep your seed words safe. If you purchased it one year ago than you can probably replace your BitBox. |

I don't know what is so heart breaking about leaks and hacks that happens all the time including this one, but you need to learn something from what happened.
You are not meant to have one email address for life and you can change them at any time, and also don't trust any mail you receive but double check them.

Website is not dead, working fine for me, and code is Open Source so you can can check and verify it or ask someone else to do it.
I checked both android and ios versions and they are last updated on September and desktop version last update was on April.
I also know that they have shifted more to BitpieWallet and BitHD hardware wallet (Trezor code) and they are very active on social media and you can ask them anything you want.

Like I said before, people should watch out when installing wallet extensions because there are many fake wallets.
For example simple search of term 'bitcoin wallet' on chrome web store showed me fake Samourai Wallet extension that does not exist officially, and I know scammers created many fake electrum extension in past.
On Mozilla add-ons I also noticed Coinbase extension and I don't think that is official or legit.
Double and triple check before installing any extension.

To nije hardware wallet. - Spending: sasvim OK koristiti smartphone applicacije za to.
Tu odaješ više podataka o sebi nego kupci HW novčanika - Trading: si i tako i onako ovisan od centraliziranih exchangeova poput Binance ako zelis biti imalo uspijesan...
Ima i decentraliziranih koje sasvim dobro rade a neke podržavaju i HW, a biće to i bolje u budućnosti. PS Nemam ništa protiv paper walleta i electruma. I rest my case for today  |

I ti si onda isto predao poverenje Tails-u i centralizovanoj firmi koja proizvodi tvoj USB stick, mobitel ili laptop. A neki novčanici kao Trezor i ColdCard su OPEN SOURCE i isto možeš potvrditi code a sumnjam da to možeš za svoj mobitel Open Source Hardware wallets |

Super, I trebas. Ali ostaje da si predao svoje poverenje nekoj centralizovanoj firmi (upravo opposite of ideologije crypta)... Ako je tu neki "back door" ugradje i ta firma danas, sutra odluci da napravi exit scam...?
Nisam predao nikome ništa. Svako ko kupi HW i napravi novčanik generiše Seed words koje samo on zna, i sa time može da uradi import u bilo koji drugi novčanik ako je to potrebno, a svakako je bolje koristiti Electrum sa harderskim novčanikom a ne njihov glupi software. To za firmware backdoor je moguće, ali bi morao instalirati neki novi update ili neki lažni firmware a isto to bi moglo da se desi i za Tails i za Electrum wallet i za bilo koji OS ili uredjaj, telefon i novčanik. |

Ja tvrdim da jeste (i jeftinije i sigurnije, barem ako koristis zdrav mozak).
A ne može biti sigurnije za nekog da kupi ko zna kakav stari lapop i da sam instalira neki OS makar to bio i Tails, pa onda tu instalira neki novčanik i ostale gluposti... Tails nije holly grail btw sbogovac Ja sam npr malo koristio svoj mozak i oni nemaju podatke o mojoj (ne)kupovini i ja nemam bitcoin. Ima raznih opcija i nije loše biti malo paranoičan, koristiti PO Boxes, pseudonime, drugo ime, drugu adresu...
