8882  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin wallet(s) setting for poker room withdrawal on: October 09, 2015, 12:30:39 AM
Ok, to be clear, I need to cahsout in EUR or USD... I didn't know that Neteller doesn't convert itself Bitcoin to EUR or USD.

Then my chain should be:
"Poker room>Blockchain>second wallet> EUR or USD on Skrill or Netelle or wtvr"

Then now the "problem" is the second wallet:

somebody said me that Coinbase is okish but has commission a bit high;

other people said me Circle, but as I know it changed in the last days his policy about withdrawals limits at maximum of 300$ per week!

I m reading also about Coinmail....

Wich second wallet can you suggest me?
You could open a second blockchain account. Coinbase isn't that bad, I don't think they have high fees, or any at all. I know coinbase will pay the transaction fee for you. Although web wallets in general usually suck.

Or you could use a desktop wallet like electrum.
8883  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [poll] lenders fighting scammers together on: October 08, 2015, 10:38:49 PM
Although I am not a lender here, I would like to give my 2 satoshis since I have been burned before by loan scammers on bitlendingclub.

I think --Encrypted--'s idea is good, since it marks accounts that have active loans.

I also like a combination of MrPeople's and TheGr33k's ideas. We could create a bot that crawls the loan forum and checks for the statuses of all loans. Then it posts the information to a thread in the lending forum which shows all of the loans in the OP of that thread. The bot can just edit the continue to edit the post for each new loan it finds.
8884  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Initializing bitcoin engine is taking forever on: October 08, 2015, 10:20:00 PM
wait. Be patient. This is actually pretty normal behavior. Bitcoin Armory can take a very long time to start up.
8885  Other / Meta / Re: What is the potential activity guys? on: October 08, 2015, 10:14:46 PM
You can check your potential activity for free with my site, http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/
Interesting concept, but your site seems to be working really slow. Is it normal?
I entered User ID and I thought site crashed, but after couple minutes result showed.
The price is constant or is changing according to current bitcoin price?
A bit off topic, but I will answer it. You can check the thread for more information here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1142314.0

The site normally takes a few minutes for higher ranking members since Bitcointalk limits requests to one every second per ip address. So the site needs to wait 1 second between requests to not get ip banned.

The price is based on the bitcoin prices of accounts here, not fiat prices. The estimation is a little high apparently, and I will be adjusting that down soon.

Can't you just use localbitcoins to exchange the Bitcoin to yuan? You can do in person cash to bitcoin trades. I'm sure that you can also do bank transfers for bitcoin as well.

There are also several exchanges that I think allows you to withdraw to a chinese bank.

8889  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: New transaction malleability attack wave? Another stresstest? on: October 08, 2015, 07:34:52 PM
Who's behind this stress test?
Amaclin is. Did you even read the thread? He admitted it on the first page.

This is the malleability problem: someone is creating copies of transactions

OK. This is not "someone". It is me.
Right now the stress-test is paused. I reserve a right to resume it.
Ask me anything.
8890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Problem on getting peers on: October 08, 2015, 11:32:36 AM
It looks like your node thinks its peers are misbehaving so it bans them. Have you tried restarting your node and connecting specifically to other nodes?
8891  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [Bither] How to backup my HD Account? on: October 08, 2015, 03:55:25 AM
export the seed phrase and write it down or print it out. Keep it somewhere safe. If you happen to lose your phone or your computer breaks, you can use that seed phrase to recover the wallet. You can import it back into bither unter Import Private Key. There should be an option to import from a HD Account phrase. You use that and you will have access to all of your bitcoin again.
8892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: How to get private keys out of Android wallet? on: October 08, 2015, 01:43:18 AM

Ok and whats the step ive missed before?
I feel i did allright using openssl command.
You also need to do a bunch of stuff with the wallet-tool in order get the data from the protobuf to a key. Those are near the bottom of the file under the headings Recovering from protobuf wallet format and Recovering from Base58 key format.

Please be more clear, also since you are respected user i can pass you my file.
I suppose you can do that if you think I am trustworthy. If you want to do that, send me a pm and I will send you my email.
8893  Other / Meta / Re: "You must be this tall to ride" Threads on: October 08, 2015, 01:18:24 AM
A lot can happen in the 6-weeks it takes to become a Jr. Member with a perfect activity schedule.
By the end of your first month here you could well have established yourself as trustworthy or have the knowledge of proper collateral.
Right, so Jr. Members should be able to post, but not newbies, and certainly not brand new accounts.
8894  Other / Meta / Re: "You must be this tall to ride" Threads on: October 08, 2015, 01:11:58 AM
specially the lending section where there is almost everyday a newbie asking for a loan.

Yes, but just as TheGr33k said, what if the newbie had valid collateral and really needed that loan? I saw a newbie with valid collateral the other day (although I'm not quite sure what the outcome of that loan was) in the Lending section.

There's no reason to scare away newbies because they're not all bad! At one point or another we were all there.
But should a newbie's first post really be for a loan?

I like this idea. They should add this to the new forum.
8895  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin wallet(s) setting for poker room withdrawal on: October 08, 2015, 01:09:27 AM
You can directly deposit to neteller from the poker room. The other wallets are for anonymity if you want it.

8897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Backing Up Your Bitcoin Precautions on: October 07, 2015, 09:10:06 PM
Here is my issue with my laptop.  The battery doesn't work anymore.  I want to have it replaced by sending it back to them then they replace it.  However if i do this, you want me to take out the hard drive before i do this?  Thus if i do that, then no hard drive would make it safe?

Is it out of warranty on laptop?  If so I would look at buying a battery and putting it in.

Also what type of laptop and model of laptop?  Just so we can see if it's easy or a pain.

I am pretty sure he has an Apple computer, since he has written above in the last post that his battery is very hard to get out and he can't just simply take it of and put it back on.
A lot of computers nowadays, not just macs, have built in batteries that are almost impossible to remove.

this guy dodges questions like a expert scammer  Tongue

try #2: onemorexmr, where is your evidence? who did i scam 0.02 from?

he can't answer because you caught him in a lie!
He is implying that you (cexi) was bought by Glab Gemow because he thinks that you may be his alt. The 0.02 is about this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1203027.msg12627360#msg12627360 where Glab Gemow is offering to by Jr. Member acounts for 0.02

Evidence please?
There is no evidence, I was just explaining the obvious reason for onemorexmr to say that Glab was scamming (did you also not see the winky face? I think he was joking/being sarcastic).

Unfortunately blockchain.info cannot help to recover your password. It is not that they don't care, but rather that they are incapable of helping you since that data is not stored on their servers.

Since the passwords should be the same, try changing a few characters that could be accidenally mistyped like captial letters and try to guess your password.
