For Legendary we know already > Amph = 28889 posts but guess what, he got only 1 merit What's funny is I remembered this thread, posted 3 years and 3 months ago about Amph: Amph, the useless user!OP was spot on! xtraelv's find for worst poster beats mine: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1645048Name: krizpogi18 Posts: 2662 Activity: 224 Merit: 0 Hasn't been active since the 6th though, has yet to see the exciting new developments! I started a thread about a formula I developed to determine Worthiness of Poster, but in retrospect I now think the total score should be divided by your rank on the forum (Newbie=WoP/1, Legendary=Wop/7): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5033479krizpogi18 still holds the title for worst poster according to my formula.

By the way, in the couple hours since you were bitching about my merits, I've accrued 12 more it's probably because you write the right things, but I do not. right?) I read through your posts and yeah, you're exactly right. We have a saying in Russia according to which a well-fed man finds it difficult to understand a starving one.
We have a saying in Hawaii: If can, can. If no can, no can. You braddah no can.

What? You're missing the entire point of the forum. Newcomers only come here because they mistakenly _think_ they can make a living spamming here. But they're wrong. They were always wrong. The recent changes were made to deter them from flooding the forum with useless posts so it can maintain its original intention as a place for communication.
Nobody's _forcing_ _anybody_ to spam. That's a ridiculous mindset to think they have to keep spamming the forum.
you are very naive. you think that such a measure someone will stop. read my appeal. above you will see a link. the rules of the signature compel create spam. Nobody's compelling anybody to spam. They're supposed to write decent posts. Because they refuse to do that and insist on spamming new rules have been implemented. Signature campaigns should obviously now be taken away from Jr Members. Your appeal doesn't mean jack shit bud. total 61 merits. not a very good prospect, right? By the way, in the couple hours since you were bitching about my merits, I've accrued 12 more

total 61 merits. not a very good prospect, right? I'll admit its harder for Newbs to get merits than higher ranking ones, but 95% of all Newbs just post senseless trash, which ruins its for the actual 5% who might actually have something interesting to say. Sorry but we're sick of the forum's quality being watered down by opportunistic spam artists. you understand why this happens. it's all at the money. earlier this was a forum for communication. now for earnings. and newcomers are forced to spam because of the terms of the forum and campaigns What? I developed this formula a month ago but forgot to post it here. Its a rough guide for determining the potential chance that what somebody has to say is going to be interesting. Of course its not an absolute measurement of anything in particular, but I'm always on the lookout for members that have extremely high (or extremely low) scores. It doesn't apply so well to old, inactive accounts; especially those that stopped posting before the merit system was introduced. Without further ado, here's the formula: WoP = (Merit + 1) / Posts x ActivityPretty simple, really. Here's how mine would look currently: nutildah = (1061 + 1) / 2980 x 1162 = 414 Obviously Legendaries are gonna have the highest scores, but the point is, if somebody has a score above 100, they're probably worth listening to, and if somebody has a score below 10, they're probably not. Future refinement of the formula would include dividing the score by the rank level (1=Newbie, 7=Legendary) to make things a bit more even. I became fascinated when I saw one particular poster had 2600+ posts, zero merit and such a low activity. Now with the new merit requirements my fascination is reinvigorated: who can find a score lower than krizpogi18 (0.084)? If you find one I may very well issue you a merit for your work! Here's a list I made about a month ago, so the scores have probably changed a bit since then, tried to include some of the biggest names in the forum for your reference: theymos: 1292 ibminer: 1225 phantastisch: 1074 Flying Hellfish: 958 charleshoskinson: 833 Satoshi: 829 eduffield: 756 Gavin Andresen: 734 ProfMac: 715 Damelon: 628 GameKyuubi: 600 Cyrus: 575 genjix: 553 jgarzik: 481 OgNasty: 477 Gyrsur: 408 marcus_of_augustus: 402 mprep: 385 Hal: 368 Dabs: 340 Vitalik Buterin: 307 QuestionAuthority: 276 -ck: 272 Vod: 243 Vlad2Vlad: 167 smooth: 138 Quickseller: 134 TradeFortress: 127 hilariousandco: 110 philipma1957: 101 Gleb Gamow: 77.9 Amph: 67.4 spiderlee: 17.7 amanarora_1: 1.20 katerinaliisa: 0.24 leoliln45: 0.18 krizpogi18: 0.08

How about the cancellation of Merit, which were accrued upon its introduction?

A thought (which may hurt newbies and alike ), should the qualifying requirement be increased to +5 merits?? It should, but then people would just be buying or begging for 5 merits instead of 1. Pretty fucking sad if you can't cobble together 1 meritable post and are only here to abuse the forum, purposefully shunning a treasure trove of knowledge you could be using to make far more money than you ever would as a bounty hunter. I'm totally going to search for these people on Telegram and fuck with them.

I like that Bitcoin Cach brings good money to the world, fulfilling Bitcoin's original promise as "Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cach" and continues to evolve.
Who gave you a merit??!

Ah, good. Even though I'm the one who started this thread I'm happy they gave up, it was just a hoax.

If you bought this coin, you bought literally nothing and Poloniex should compensate you for any losses you incur. they shouldn't be selling coins without a blockchain, its just ethically repulsive.

SCAM!!!
