901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bountyhive scam on: April 03, 2018, 01:15:29 AM
Spreadsheet with all the participants and stakes is very important for transparent distribution, as they have their own developed system they can simply display all participants stakes and earned tokens information for complete transparency.
While I have never used Bountyhive I admit that transparency should be a must when dealing with campaigns in which you are giving stakes in order to determine how much tokens each person is going to get, that way the participants can make their own calculations and see that everything is right and there is no one tricking them but without that information then that could create some suspicions about the distribution of the tokens.
902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what advice? on: April 03, 2018, 01:08:00 AM
i am new in trading . i want to start trading . what advice you should give me before i start in live trading?
Probably the best advice we can give to you is if you are sure you are prepared to start trading cryptocurrencies, because we see many people that think they are ready but it is completely different to actually be ready, this market is very unforgiving if you make a mistake you could lose all your money so I hope that you really took the time to think about the risks and consequences of trading.
903  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin VS bank on: March 31, 2018, 03:22:01 AM
I do believe that there's a probability for cryptocurrency (especially bitcoin) to replace banks but I don't think it will happen in the near future. As long as nations of different countries still see bitcoin as an enemy and oppose to its concept, banks will remain confident and will not be threatened to crypto  — in short, they will remain standing strong. Let's just accept the fact that it is very hard to change the monetary system that we used to but I'm still hoping.
Changing the system in the conventional way it's very hard I will agree on that, however if there is an economic crisis so big that the economies of the world are completely destroyed then bitcoin will have the freeway in order to become the new currency of the world and to create a new economy based on it, it's not very likely since we cannot know how long it will take for that to happen but the possibility is there.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bad are ICOs this year? on: March 31, 2018, 02:55:38 AM
You know why the prices of ICOs this year is low? It is because most of the money of the investors is invested to all ICOs released this year. There are plenty ICOs that is mostly scam and the investment were taken away and we can consider it a loss in crypto world. The money that can used to buy some good coins is being scammed by these greed companies. Better to choose a good ICO that will have its own use and can stand on its own even without bitcoin. Look at BNB, value is still rising even though bitcoin price is declining.
There are many good icos in the market, but the good icos are outnumbered by the bad icos by a huge margin this is creating skepticism about the potential of those investments this is why even good projects are struggling to get enough funding to make the project a reality but if you see a good project you need to take advantage and invest in it you could multiply your money very easily if you do that.
905  Economy / Speculation / Re: whether it's time to turn green again on: March 31, 2018, 02:24:20 AM
It seems to me that now the market of all coins is in a period of stabilization. This year will be the most stable. Whales won't rock prices. Ordinary people can not seriously affect prices. Whales want to participate in the distribution of coins, and mtgox is in their interest to keep the price down. Perhaps there will even be chart failures when mtgox starts selling its stocks again.
The prices have never been stable, one of the things with bitcoin is that if it is not skyrocketing or crashing bitcoin does not remain on a straight line it still goes up and down very abruptly with the only difference that after a 10% dip we get a 10% correction in the market, it is still very volatile but on average it may not seem like bitcoin is moving much.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep these things in mind when you are into crypto world on: March 31, 2018, 02:06:29 AM
This is why many are also taking advantage of the telegram groups by displaying themselves and disguising as the admin's, there's no way to stop this but to give public awareness.

There are also scammers on twitter.

Just like by visiting those announcements from the developers, there are these like giveaways that are being held through that.

When there is some instructions that dictates to send you xx amount of eth or bitcoin to an address, that's an obvious scam.
There are many scammers like that and they are everywhere so the only thing we can do to protect ourselves is to not be so dumb, scammers are very smart somehow they are able to get the list of everyone that invested in an ico and then they send them malicious emails trying to get their private keys and unfortunately many people fall for it, so people need to familiarize themselves with the current scams so they can avoid it.
907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: March 29, 2018, 02:47:30 AM
Why it should not be worthy? As long as you make profit, its ok. But i know what you mean. Some weekgs ago. in the bull market. you can make a lot more money with trading. So its true, back then it was possible to make thousand dollar profit in one day with just one bitcoin. At the moment thats not possible anymore. But they are still altcoin who goes 5x or something like that. SO trading is still profitable, but ust a little bit harder to know which coin goes as next to the moon.
If you are making money of course it is worthy, but you need to understand that when the market was going up making profit was very easy everyone was making a lot of money, now that the market is stagnant or it's going down I think we can see who are the real traders and who just got lucky, so for those that just got lucky I think it is a good idea to stop trading and do something else before they lose all their money.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk says goodbye to facebook on: March 29, 2018, 02:31:21 AM
That's it. FB is heading down the drain fast.

I was saying on reddit that FB was around for lke a decade or so, and in internet terms that's almost three decades.

They had a really good run. No need for Zuck and his peeps to try to hang on to a sinking ship. They made billions. Just exit.

I've never run a super successful company like that (who has?) but I can't understand why they don't want to just drop ship. Like, how much money could you really need in this life that you'd stress over that much just to save a company that's already made you that much money?

But then again, without FB, I'm not sure where people will flock to. Twitter and IG are probably the most popular social media after FB, but they're only good for flash updates and pictures. FB was the "wholesome" social media that had the profile pic, bio, everything like that.

WILL MYSPACE STEP IT UP? XD
I do not know about that, I do not use Facebook so I'm not really up to date with the information but it seems that right now there is some scandal about some leaked information however I have my doubts that is going to kill Facebook, it doesn't matter how much people deny it at the back of their minds they always knew they had been spied by Facebook all the time and they just accepted.
909  Economy / Economics / Re: Earnings without risks for beginners on: March 29, 2018, 02:10:27 AM
Another option is to have useful skills, such as programming, design. And join any team doing their project on blockchain. Initially for free, and then gaining experience you will be able to earn good money.
We must do everything we can in order to maximize our profits if you have skills like those that you can perform from anywhere in the world you need to use them, the market is in a pretty good position, it has not skyrocketed yet but it will do it soon probably in the next years, and you want to have as many coins as you can if you do not work hard right now you may regret it for the rest of your life.
910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market fell sharply, what is going on? on: March 29, 2018, 01:58:56 AM
Large institutions are spreading fake news in the media, in order to accumulate more cryptocurrencies, to dump them, to continue this cycle that they control.

I think there is truth to this, the FUD in the media.

I also think there was a needed correction anyway... Bitcoin skyrocketed and everything that goes up must come down Smiley

The FUD in the media plays some role without a doubt, however if the price of bitcoin was going up the no one will listen to what the media says and we will be concentrated on what was the price doing but since the prices are going down and the price going down because it was needed because bitcoin was in the middle of a bubble then the media is taking advantage of this and spreading a bunch of bad news that is sinking the market even further.
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Serious, I Started To Worry...... on: March 29, 2018, 01:32:14 AM
You are newbie. You are panicking that's all big players want. In panic people sell their coins on loss. Correction is a part of market. I am not worried about future because I believe in bitcoin. It happens every year market drops and rise If you see the past history of market. I would say nothing is serious to worry. Do not listen negative people.
It is precisely because he's a newbie that he is worried, if you are a very experimented user of bitcoin you will have seen your fair share of crisis over the course of the years and this will be normal for you, but for a newbie all of this is a new experience in the stock market a drop of more than 5% is considered a crash while a drop of 10% or more in bitcoin is just another day in the office.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Keep It Crypto on: March 28, 2018, 02:55:30 AM
Governments and banks want different blockchains. Blockchains that'd make Orwell cry in a corner. Sure we'll get government issues cryptocurrencies: CRYPTOFIAT. All your transactions will be traced, monitored and taxed automatically.

Of course, they'll make exceptions for certain individuals...

yeah this is what scares me too. "fedcoin" will replace the fiat currency and they will track your purchases and keep people in their place. fortunately i think there's ways to make sure the gov doesn't know what you buy and such
A cryptocurrency created by a government will be terrible but I think people are exaggerating what they can accomplish, when you think about it those that know about cryptocurrencies like us are not going to use such coins we will avoid them and the general public is going to do the same since they are fine with their fiat so only a very low amount of people will use such coins.
913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Advice Needed on: March 28, 2018, 02:42:23 AM
You already have a lot of advises on how to learn trading but no one have advised you this, You should know what you are getting in to like what are the risks. Can you handle the stress because if you can not i bet you that you will panic sell once there is a bad news about your coin. Can you control your emotions, when you see you portfolio on red  we might see you posting here asking for advice.

If you have never traded before on any type of market I will suggest to start with a demo account of use a very little money so that you would just know how the game goes. If you are able to handle it then start investing with a larger amount.
A demo account will only allow you to see if you are able to perform the technical aspect right, however it is not going to allow you to see if you are going to be able to perform well under pressure, in a way this is similar to poker, it is very easy to make all the various advanced plays with fake money but with money on the line it is really difficult to play well and the same is true for trading.
914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: March 28, 2018, 02:29:45 AM
In spite of being born late than forex, crypto trading has proven that people can easily earn money from it just by a small amount of money. Therefore, I can say that cryptocurrency trading is better. HOwever, it will take more risk and you need to have enough knowledge before start to trade
The best thing about trading cryptocurrencies is that you can begin with a low amount of money, you can begin with just a few hundred dollars and that could be enough if you are buying altcoins but in forex you need at least a few thousand dollars and the worst part is that you will need to go through KYC policies which will not allow to you to trade anonymously.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: G20Meeting: "Crypto-assets do not pose risks to global financial stability" on: March 27, 2018, 02:37:14 AM
I don't see how crypto ever threatens global financial stability. More access==more stability. but governments are wanting additional safeguards for sure. And panicking at new tech, as usual.
Maybe you are not seeing it but if that is the case is because you are lacking imagination, think about it, if cryptocurrencies ever become mainstream that means that the average person will have a way to move its money in a way that no government around the world will be able to interfere, there will be true freedom of movement when it comes to your money, and that has never existed so it's huge.
916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin miners are now losing money on: March 27, 2018, 02:25:34 AM
I have a friend who is into mining and said that his mining rig today doesn't give him the same profit as what he usually gets before. It ain't profitable anymore and he even asked me if i wanted to buy his mining rig (at a discounted price of course) but shall i really buy it?
This is a really difficult question, you should probably post it in the mining section of the forum, you will need very precise numbers about the cost of electricity and when do you expect to get back your investment if you do not make those calculations and if those numbers are not very precise it is possible that you will never get your money back and you will lose money.
917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When we can expect mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies? on: March 27, 2018, 02:14:51 AM
When we can expect mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies?

This is very important question and one of the most frequently asked questions.

Here is my opinion

I was trying to research a little bit. I will share my opinion based on Andreas M. Antonopoulos speach.

If we look back in the past, there were 2 great revolutions. In the 16th century, we had 1st revolution. Gold was replaced by piece of paper. Yesterday you were paying with gold and tomorrow you will replace gold with peace of paper! It was huge change in our history. After 400 years, in the 20th century we saw big mainstream adoption of paper money. So, it took 400 years!

In the 1950s, we had 2nd revolution. Paper money was replaced by debit cards. First, gold was replaced by piece of paper and now piece of paper is going to be replaced by money that is hidden in piece of plastic. That money is not even visible. You get your salary that is not even visible and you have to trust your boss that your money is on your card. According to Mr. Antonopoulos, even in the 1990s he wasn't able to use his debit card in most of european countries. So, this revolution took 40-50 years!

We have now 3rd revolution. I am not even thinking that this is going to be banned. This will be widely used but the main question is when?!
Guys, please understand this. If they think that bitcoin is dangerous, it would be banned! all banks are controlled by small group of people. Most of crypto exchanges are actually banks. So, if they want to block or ban crypto, it would already happen! They are buying more and more and once they own more than 80-90% of BTC, it can be used in everyday life! They will own more then enough to prevent huge volatility and cryptocurrencies will be broadly used!

For this adoption, we have everything we need. We have internet, we do not need to make new technology that will allow this technology to be adopted.
Adoption won't follow the price, price will follow adoption!

So, maybe 3 years, maybe 5 years but it will happen. Do not miss the opportunity!

If this somehow resonates with you, join our telegram channel where we share lots of insights and even trading tips  https://t.me/cryptocurrencyzone

While it is interesting to discuss when that is going to happen one of the questions that we need to ask ourselves first is if it is going to happen at all? After all there are many opponents to cryptocurrencies and they are not small at all, they are some of the most powerful opponents in the entire world, governments and banks so while I think that the mainstream adoption of bitcoin is possible we should not expect it too soon.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The investment on: March 27, 2018, 01:59:51 AM
Do not invest in coin you do not understand, or even see many people make a lot of money from it.
Calculate your investment in electronic money when your investment is not high, which will help you easily cut losses and exit the wrong trading.
Be consistent with your principles.
Be patient and think hard.
That is a must, since invest in cryptocurrency is very risky then we should diversify our investment. So if one of project is fail then we will still have other hope in other projects. Don't ignore any news because any news is highly influence to any coin price. Cut loss is needed , and sometimes it can become opportunity sell which make us get better possition in our investment.
Diversifying is a great idea for your investments but you need to ask yourself which coin you want to buy? And what are the risks you will take? If you prefer to play it safe then it's better to buy some of the top altcoins you are not going to get as many profits but you'll make some money but if you like to take the risks maybe you can invest in some new altcoins or icos and make money that way.
919  Other / Off-topic / Re: How wars can affect Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2018, 01:39:42 AM
I think that if there is an international war, the price of bitcoin will fall because war will affect the country’s direct peaceful development and affect the economic market.
And not only that, in the case of war the priorities of the people change substantially people no longer spend their money in useless stuff as they do in peacetime they are going to save every penny just in case they need that money in order to buy something important, and in the middle of the war an speculative investment like bitcoin is not going to be the priority of the people.
920  Economy / Speculation / Re: whether it's time to turn green again on: March 25, 2018, 03:26:47 AM
it is too soon to open the champagne bottles and celebrate the recovery or the bull market, but it is a start, a very small one. and this is mainly because of the G20 results which were mostly positive about bitcoin and that recovered part of the confidence in the market but i say we are not yet out of the bear market officially. price needs to go higher so that we can call it a real recovery and be happy about it.

as for altcoins, i don't really care about them specially the TOP ones because they don't do anything at this point except have some tiny recoveries, the profit is in the smaller unknown coins which are getting pumped left and right during times like this.
Unfortunately for us it is very difficult to predict which coins are going to be pumped next, those that are able to guess correctly can make a fortune in just a few days, I have seen coins going up to 1000% in a single day and I'm sure other people have seen even greater pumps but at that point it is just like gambling with your investment and I'm not willing to do that with my money.
