901  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips on how to keep your Bitcointalk forum account safe. on: September 30, 2022, 08:44:37 PM

Account security should be taken very seriously in order to avoid such incidents, because prevention is better than cure.
Maybe users can also make use of the "Secret Question" feature which might help you recover the account if it's stolen, though it is mentioned that this is not recommended since it also kind of acts like a second password, I still think that it is fine as long as you create an answer which someone should not be able to guess easily. (was there any history here where a user successfully retrieved the account using this feature?). Probably, in relation to forum security, signed message really will help recovering the account.

If I remember it correctly, I've seen some likely games on other casinos. I can't remember what casino it is but it was just a start-up casino when I saw it.
Some gamblers also enjoy playing games like this, and for sure there are still market (players) for the casino for such game.

I have never heard about Faucetpay until you mentioned them here.
You are asking about if they are paying bigger withdrawals, It's great to know that there are already users here that are member to that site, and to me it seems reputable based from what they have said.

From their FAQ, it is mentioned that there are no withdrawal limit, if that's true, then probably the allow and can pay bigger withdrawals.

It will be preferable to not allow them to be engaged on these kind of activities, specially if they are underaged. However, if we can't possibly take them away fully to these things like gambling, probably we should make them to be open minded with these topics/activities. Explain the risk and what are the bad effects of doing these things so. If they are on proper age and thinking, I would not force them for gambling. I think what parents can do is to make them disciplined enough to choose what should they do and what not they should not.

I'm not even familiar with the name.
Since it has a very low review score, you should consider thinking twice before making any deposits to that casino.

Now if you are looking for sports bookmakers online, you can find some of them here in Bitcointalk since there are also good numbers of them that introduced their site here. Just hover through the Gambling board.

I think they reviewed the list of those users that will receive the exclusive bonus before sending codes to them, regardless if it's first time exclusive bonus for them or not. It's possible that there are new bonus recipients that they are adding into the list. Also some users might be removed too. Who knows, maybe if you did a certain action on site, you might receive one as well.

To hide their identity. This is one of the major reasons why people ask others to verify an account using their name.
<snip>
I know.
However, the point is, those people that engaged with this kind of transaction (account verification through other person's identity) will just try to verify the account. If the account needs more documents, the one who ask/paid him to verify will just ask the "victim" to send/pass another document, in which he might be willing to do it for some money.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think blockchain gaming technology will have evolved by 2030? on: September 25, 2022, 06:10:32 PM
do you believe that blockchain gaming will gain more traction?
Due to competition between various projects, I think blockchain will have an outstanding future. It could be integrated on many other aspects of our lives. I believe that there will be a good amount of adaption in that timeframe. More adaption equals bigger market right? If there are many investments into it, it means that it is doing really good. For now it's hard to think of any token that can replace bitcoin, so I think btc will sill remain as the king in the future.

I am not surprised with this. This issue has been lingering for many years already. I just do not know if there is anyone that was able to prove that cameras on such private rental spaces/room.

@OP, is there really any camera technology like what you have described? Regardless, I think the reason why the assets have been stolen is probably because your wife connected with the hotel's wifi when she accessed the wallet while revealing the seed phrase.

Just to ask, can't you track where the assets have been sent?
910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: September 25, 2022, 02:12:43 PM

There are gambling games that most of the time does not rely on luck, in which as like what you have said requires some knowledge and skills. One of these games is I believe a widely known game worldwide, Poker.

Sometimes trading is also being connected with gambling since you are taking risk. But these two are really different from each other despite of them being seemingly alike.

I mostly played on Duelbits and Roobet. Honestly, right now, I can't think of which one of the sites that I am playing is my favorite.
For the wagered amount, I am a low roller, but I gamble a lot almost a year ago that's why I have good amount of wager even though I mostly bet the lowest possible stake ($0.2).
My biggest win was on Sweet Bonanza Xmas, it was around $1.3k.

And also, as long as the OP doesn't do anything from different baits to him of hackers he would be fine. These baits includes sending him private message or emails messages embedded with suspicious links in which he can be phished.

@OP, I do not know you personally but I am glad and proud to you for achieving this bitcoin milestone. Congrats Wink

I agree with the license part, but most of them try to run some various promotions here. First, they will pay, just to show off and gain the trust of the community. But very soon, they won't. They invested a little but was able to get some new players to their site.
About the license, shady and/or scam casinos probably aren't trying to get one is maybe because it needs a real identification as it will be regulated. Because of that, the community can find out who they are and file cases, or maybe chase them out.

Currently having problems by getting paid from Affiliate manager. Trying to get an answer from them since 12th September
Shouldn't you be contacting them via private message? You have posted in Duelbits' thread, I'm assuming you're an influencer/streamer.
Try reaching them out on their site through their live chat support or through e-mail. Have you tried it already? It's the fastest way I think to have contact with them.

In addition to that, for those people who are still and are planning to sell their identities through verifying different accounts (such as casino account, social media, exchange accounts, etc.) worst is to give documents and verification photos to anyone specially whom that  are unknown for them, you do not want yourself to get in trouble as if those people you've transacted with might have shady transactions being done.
To hide their identity. This is one of the major reasons why people ask others to verify an account using their name.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 23, 2022, 06:48:33 PM

I see. I doubled check their statement about that. Seems like the reason for all of this banning plan is because of those streamers?? that have been sharing and spreading their referral codes and links to their community given that Twitch is prohibiting it.
Why not they just give warning to those people who are doing this. And if they do it again, ban their accounts for amount of time or permanently ban it. That's better than banning those streams for those games like slots.

Do you have any plans to add more type of games in the next coming months/years, like live games and slots? Currently, I am only seeing sports and eSports betting on your site. I couldn't find the roulette, isn't it launched yet?
For your design, I would suggest to add a drop-down feature which can view less and view more.
Welcome to the forum!

Hence influencers won't have any big platform now that Twitch is banning gambling streams.
YouTube has videos for gambling. There are a lot just like Twitch. However, I am not aware if they are allowing gambling stream or there are people who are doing that. But I can assure to you, recorded videos of gambling such as sport, slots, live games, etc. are present in YouTube.
Also, as far as I know Twitch only plans to restrict slot streams, not gambling in general. Sports gambling is still good. Live games, I do not know.

I'm glad for you, and I think it's wonderful that you shared your winning experience from Duelbits' sportsbook. How long have you been playing and placing bets on Duelbits? Are you a new player there and been able to win that juicy prize? Or you have been betting even before, but does not win that much.
Any ways, goodluck on your future bets!
