901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite type of gambling? on: April 28, 2015, 05:00:21 PM
I would prefer gambling on gold rates buying n selling of gold on same day depending upon the stock prices if u make loss its a huge loss n if u make profit its a huge one vice-versa. I believe in more risks more returns..so i would definitely gamble on gold
902  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 28, 2015, 04:53:58 PM
prepare a monthly budget and review the expenses on the weekly basis try to reduce the expenses in the best possible way u can also have a piggy bank at your home where you can save small amount of money everyday which can be used at the time of emergency.
903  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 26, 2015, 10:31:04 AM
planning plays an important role in saving money. no plan no savings..keep track record of expenses and review it on weekly and monthly basis this will give u an exact idea of where you are spending more and prepare an action plan so that one can reduce expenses in coming time.

DirectBet.eu  5.0

Because the betting works very well there with older browser like IE 8.0. I tried few other betting sites in IE 8.0, but never fully working. I will not give lower score to these sites, but they should think how to reduce fancy stuff and make it compatible for older browsers  Wink
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pope's raffle draw (on the 8th of January) on: November 22, 2014, 09:59:53 AM
I had a raffle script that uses blockhashes as seed once. Turned out that /dev/urandom is a better source for randomness.

But not provably fair, that is the point of provably fair raffles using block hash for the random number

907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Found one of satoshi nakamotos bitcoin addresses. on: October 20, 2014, 08:56:45 AM
He has said that you should only use each address one time and to use a new change address each time you spend bitcoin. This would imply that he would never be able to combine his addresses together as doing do would violate that rule.

Yes, impossible to say how many bitcoins Satoshi really mined, or spent. If the addresses are not reused of course

910  Other / Off-topic / Re: 0.095 sent to me by mistake, sign for it and its yours. on: April 14, 2014, 09:49:56 PM
Just send it back to the address but id just keep it. How can someone send to the wrong address.

typing from a piece of paper or something like that and misstyping..

I got 0.25BTC once, never found out who sent them

Who types an address out? Unlikely to get another genuine address too. How do you know it wasnt sent on purpose or as a tip?

Most likely copy/paste issue, I mean you forgot copy to clipboard your address and already had other address in clipboard. It is possible to make this mistake if you dont check when sending this way

Dogecoin for a little while until the hype dies out

And does the price stops rising or drops very low when this happens?
916  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questions about cpu and gpu mining: on: December 20, 2013, 10:17:09 PM
I'm very new to mining. I've just started using cudaminer to mine some dogecoin with my gtx 560 and its not going as fast as i'd like. I do have a pretty good processor though and was wondering if I could possibly mine with both simultaneously. Any help is appreciated greatly.

CPU mining Scrypt coin is not effecient, you might mine some CPU coin instead (like PrimeCoin) together with GPU Scrypt mining
917  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2000$ to invest, right now? on: December 20, 2013, 10:13:03 PM
Most secure seems to buy Bitcoin as most recommending. Mining is very uncertain, a lot of new miners might start mining early next year
918  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, stay away from altcoins. please on: December 18, 2013, 03:49:40 PM
bitcoin are so much expensive now , and litecoin are so much cheaper people start accepting them as well

And this will have a knock on-effect. Once BTC price gets ridiculous - maybe it already has - people will just invest in the next biggest currency; Litecoin. Then when Litecoins get too pricey; on to the next and so on.

Nope, by your logic, smarter would be start with new and still worthless alternative coin.

Litecoin is already too much expensive + useless

I think it would be wise to invest a little in some of the other up-and-coming cryptos.

And Litecoin's aren't really expensive, nor are they useless. Like any currency or commodity they're only worth what people are willing to pay. They're currently hovering under the $10 mark, and anyone who invested a little in these a few months ago has made a tidy profit. Same thing will probably happen with others cryptos in the next few months. Who knows? It's exciting to see how the markets play out for cryptos.

I would preffer creating my own wortless altcoin instead of pumping my money to worthless altcoin

Buying when low is the best way to increase my stack. Wish the Interational Bank wire could be faster, damn slow fiat  Sad

#2 Whats the best method to go about buying bitcoin in the US?  Coinbase, or is there a cheaper marketmaker?

Try Bitstamp, it migh be cheaper to bank wire there and buy, check your bank fees
