There are big differences between that Christianity and Islam. they are able for compensations but at a much smaller scale than it actually happens. and from the religious point of view Christianity is weaker than Islam, much weaker, proof being their status today.
There are plenty who do that. Those who engaged in the Rwandan Genocide were / are Christian, when the interahammwe re-entered Rwanda their operational bases were codenamed Bethlehem and Nazareth.

I mainly use Python, PHP/LAMP and Java. Python is my first choice if it is a suitable problem, PHP/LAMP I use for web applications, and Java for everything else. On Linux systems, I occasionally find myself coding in C or scripting in bash or perl.

Well this month, Friday falls on the 13th.

Friday the 13th.
Friday the 13th is widely considered an unlucky day in Western folklore. The idea of such superstition seems like a relic from ancient mythology; an irrational belief borne of ignorance in a time when gods were trusted to provide answers to the universe. Despite years of scientific and technological advancement and the evolution of human culture, superstition lives on in the digital age ….......
Some Chinese consider 14 a bad number too, since it sounds like death. As a result, some buildings in Hong Kong (with its western influences mixed with eastern) it will go from floor 12 to floor 15. It's whack.

Ok, lets start, bad things he has done . he divided the country like first thing, and US debt by 2016 is going to be 27 trillion $ and 15 million of people with unaffordable health care failed acts in Crimea in Ukraine IRS scandals ...

I would like to ad another great name Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Oct. 2, 1869-Jan. 30, 1948) used non-violent civil disobedience to lead the second most populous nation in the world, India, to independence from the occupying British.
Oh, what do you like most about Gandhi? Smiley

He seems alright but I don't think non-violent methods can achieve much when you are faced with a violent and unethical enemy who would use force and violence against you... He was lucky the brits were more empathetic and are focusing on a policy of decolonization during that era. Imagine if he used that tactic to try to gain independence from China or Russia.. Lol I don't think it would have ended well.

If someone can tell me what good and meaningful successes has President Obama had since being elected ... what Democrats can call as one success ?

I’m not judging Obama only want to summarize ...
908  Economy / Economics / Re: Working in USA on: June 12, 2014, 04:36:38 PM
The employment situation in US right now is actually worse than 2008 during the financial crisis.

If you have experience, then maybe you can get into a good company. If not, you will most likely better off elsewhere as the cost of living in US is usually higher than the rest of the world.
Laying off point of view is not correct this time to judge any country for work. If we'll talk about USA then it has multiple options to grow.
I agree at time of recession 2008, it was not a good decision to migrate in USA for work but now a days everything is stabilized and better opportunities are awaited.

Battlefield Bad Co 2. My favorite online shooter by far, everything was perfect, every class was fun, sniping was fun and challenging, everything just felt so right.
Really awesome game.

"Unless we conserve the planet, there isn't going to be any 'the economy'" ~ Margaret Atwood. People seem only concerned about the here-and-now and the government panders to that.
So much for Cameron promising this was going to be "the greenest government ever".
911  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Boko Haram and their reign of terror on: June 12, 2014, 04:26:00 PM
Indeed! I remember reading this article once about how extremists tend to be engineers. (20%) lol

http://nationalinterest.org/blog/bruce-h...rists-4080

But what I think zolace was talking about is that it is unlikely that extremists in countries like Nigeria can be highly educated...especially the foot soldiers. I believe they are mainly kids who have been brainwashed by the terrorist cell leaders..
912  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Boko Haram and their reign of terror on: June 12, 2014, 04:08:04 PM
Just read in the news..
Nigeria has accepted help from US, China, France and Britain.. Around 80 US troops have reached the country and started the mission to rescue the girls..
It is a horrible idea to broadcast the fact that they have received aid from other countries to the whole world. These operations should have been conducted in secrecy. Think about it...if you can read the news, the rebels can too. This puts the terrorists under extra pressure and the hostages under much more danger.
913  Economy / Economics / Re: Working in USA on: June 12, 2014, 01:20:16 PM
I think we should take different exposures and learning from everywhere. So if people had some experience in UK and now want to take some more exposure or want to work in different work culture then of-course US is the best place(even in the money perspective).
914  Economy / Economics / Re: Working in USA on: June 11, 2014, 04:00:17 PM
I would like to work in U.K. , and I'm from USA , working here for 5 years now in bag production company ,I can tell you form my perspective , if you are good worker and hard working you are going to get payed in any country with your degree
Standard is pretty much same I would say maybe better in U.K but think twice before u make decision .....
915  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you rather:... on: June 11, 2014, 03:57:28 PM
I would always choose to do something I love rather than struggling in something I hate...I might earn less money but will be happy and content deep down..
I am not the one getting in the rat race for money and loosing my life...
"People who have the opinion that money cannot buy happiness actually don't know where to shop..."

This is a very famous quote and I agree to it completely... Money can happiness indirectly.. If you have money.. you can indulge in various things and fulfill your desires, otherwise you just learn to be content..
Well, few years back even I had this notion that one should do what he loves, but then its not necessary that he is going to be successful always... Love and money are two different things which seldom go together..
916  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you rather:... on: June 11, 2014, 02:44:05 PM
Probably 50/50. That would be the best solution for me.
Ideally, it would be nice to make a lot of money doing something that you love....Although, it does seem more like a trade off these days ...
Why not make lots of money, then after you have the money saved up, use that money to do what you love?
LOL it is a good idea. And if you know how to invest, you can always retire early!

918  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment advice? on: June 10, 2014, 04:22:53 PM
I will say that don't go to anyone suggestion, just think by yourself. If you think that you have capability to invest in Forex and gold market, and also you can earn good profit, just go ahead. But always remember your strength should be patience whether you will choose Forex or gold investment or any business, without patience your money will waste.
919  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your plan in case of an alien invasion on: June 10, 2014, 04:13:31 PM
If Aliens did approach our planet, it would be for one of two things.
Curiosity (we may be the first form of intelligent life they have seen) or slavery (we're smart enough to operate mines or whatever for them, etc). But then again wouldn't they just have machines to do work for them anyway?
Really though, if we had the technology to travel the universe and investigate other planets and we found intelligent alien life that is more primitive than us, we would probably be curios and would communicate with them and maybe help them or whatever (there's gonna be people that would setup a charity or something for this).

When your girlfriend is snuggled next to you, half-asleep, naked and you are slowly caressing her bare waist. You feel thirsty and slowly move to get out of the bed but she moans softly and buries herself deeper into your body and you decide the water can wait.
