901  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 07:34:09 PM
Also why have you not left a negative trust rating for Rayen if he stole 2K from you?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=109370

Why have you not started a scammer thread for him?  Would you like someone to contact him for you and try and resolve this?

Lack of knowledge.

Just gave him negative feedback .. for what it's worth ..

Thanks for the easy link to the profile. Made it easy.
902  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 07:14:40 PM
You'll be paying a lot more the way you are proposing.

There is your solution - get a car title loan.

Trying to avoid that as much as possible :\

---

Drive to bank or other institution.
See loan officer.
Get approved or not.
Approved, they hold your title, you keep possession of Jeep.
Disapproved: You= Sad
Loan paid off, you get title back and a nice boost on your credit score. I have never been charged to get a title released.
30 minute ordeal from the time you see the loan officer.
Faster and easier than trying to get a BTC loan.

Also trying to avoid this as much as possible

Listen guys, I really appreciate the response and your opinions right now. I am trying to avoid banks, lending corps, etc. I will look into and see if there's anything I can do.

If anybody has a good bank "any credit" feel free to post or PM here and I'll give it a stab, but it's just something I really didn't want to mess with :\
903  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 07:06:28 PM
I'm willing to bet someone 2 BTC that this loan will not be fulfilled without full collateral.

If it does I want full tx ID's and a signed messaged to prove.

Come'on man .. Side bets in another thread!

lol .. I'm just playing around. Anything that keeps this thread active I'm a fan of .. Keeps my hopes alive anyway :\
904  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 07:05:14 PM
Your best bet is to get a loan on your Jeep. Easier, quicker and safer for everyone involved.

I understand what you're saying, but there is a lot of fees and everything involved with it. Not to mention the time and stress. And they ship away your title and I think you have to pay extra to get it back.

The 2.5btc interest I'm paying here is looking better for me personally. I'm not saying it's in anyway beneficial to the possible lenders, but that's up to them.

I'm just putting it out there. A "Shot in the dark" if you will.

Thanks for chiming in though -- It's very possible I may do that.
905  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 07:00:18 PM
And still, this is just money you are playing with.
Just don't play for 2 months, and you're back on track. Right ?

All I'm saying is it' very possible for me to pay this back and make somebody money. That's what my goal of posting is here was:
- Quick and reputable loan
- Make somebody money

Your word is not a guarantee, and your jeep is not worth enough.  Undecided

For what it's worth I just did a KBB on it .. It's worth 3500.

So to a dealer wholesaled it would be 1500 (still not 2k, but it depend on the dealer) .. a private party much more.

Are you proposing borrowing Bitcoins or cash? There is a difference, after all...

Scenario 1) You borrow 17.5 BTC at $135 each and intend to replay $2362.5 upon the due date, regardless of what the price of Bitcoin does (ie, if the price of bitcoin fals, you repay many more BTC than your borrowed, andif the price of BTC spikes, you repay the loan by buying fewer Bitcoins than you received in the first place.

Scenario 2) you borrow 17.5 BTC and intend to reoay the loan by transferring 17.5 BTC back to the lender, without regard for the price (ie; if the USD/BTC exchange rate goes to $270, you would be paying back twice as much on a dollar denominated basis, or if BTC falls to $67.50, you'd be repaying half as much on a dollar basis.

Either is fine, but should be disclosed. If you're seeking something akin to Scenario 1, I would make it clear that you're trying to borrow cash and intend to repay cash, with Bitcoin jut there as the means to transmit value. If you're envisioning the second scenario, one might ask what your plan to repay will look like should Bitcoin double in price during the time the loan sis outstanding.

Good question.

I'm asking to borrow 17.5 btc. I'm never going to cash these out .. They are just send to the current guy I'm looking to pay.

NOW for paying back - I would prefer to pay back in BTC. Keep things simple. If you would prefer me paying you back in cash or maybe half cash and half coins .. I'd be open to that as well.

I understand that from the point in time I borrow the coins to when I'm looking to repay COULD double. So I would have to buy them at possibly double the value -- that would indeed suck, but keep in mind I'm planning on paying 5btc per week.

Example (and planned payment dates):
September 27 (tomorrow) - 5btc
October 4 - 5 btc
October 11 - 5 btc
October 18 - 5 btc

Make sense?

And yes, by tomorrow I technically only need 15 btc if I purchase 5 tomorrow.
906  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 06:32:06 PM
Tell us how the loan is GUARANTEED.

I'm just the guy asking.

I'm basing the "guarantee" off the extra money I make in a month. So I'm able to use that money towards the loan.

I also did offer the title on my jeep. I'm a little nervous for that, but if somebody can walk me through how to do that. I'd be down.

If there anything better I'm missing. Feel free to put it out there.

I'm going to the lenders here. If there's anything you need to hear or see from me. I'm game.
907  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 06:26:26 PM
That leaves you with 4500$.

I clear a little less than 800. So now we are talking 3600 a month.

3600
- 500 bills
- 400 groceries
- 250 gas
- 250 on dinners/entertainment

Ballpark, but you get the idea. Adds up quick between taxes and whatnot

Quote
You also claim you're left with 1000$ to play with.

Which probably means your banker steals ~3500$ from you every month? Huh

Taxes are a bitch man .. It's not 3500, but it is a little less than 400 a week.

Quote
You also state you are broke, when you only got scammed for 2 months worth of play cash.

I am convinced you are a scammer (and you don't have any child).

Honestly I have no clue what I need to do to convince the thread I'm not. Geez.
908  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 34btc - bank deposit on: September 26, 2013, 06:20:49 PM

No you didn't. The rep that you spoke with just misunderstood you. The MP codes were fraudulently obtained, right? Right??? Call them back and see if you get a different rep who understands the situation Wink

Haha .. I understand what you are saying, but I sent this guy pictures of the GDMP.

So why in gods name would I give a picture of them to somebody.

I get it, it's my fault, I shouldn't have done it, but that's where they are going to say it was my fault.
909  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 06:04:32 PM
In the OP you said you sent him 2K worth of Bitcoins Huh

No no, I apologize for that. It was all GDMP.

Like say, I have the GDMP #'s and I have the pictures, and I have the receipts. So if anybody wants there ... Just ask.

Quoting just in case.

lol what?
910  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 05:40:39 PM
Simple.  Call Green Dot and tell them someone stole the moneypaks from you.  They will give you the money back.

Already address it, I told them that I gave the GDMP to somebody to pay. That doesn't fall under the ToC. You pretty much need to have the number stolen from you without ever giving it to somebody.

Unfortunately it does not work like a credit card transaction. You just can't say

"I never got it"
911  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 34btc - bank deposit on: September 26, 2013, 05:37:10 PM
Why do you need those btc for?
Does not make sense to buy btc for buying cash for buying food...

I think I reference this in the other thread, but it's for business.

So somebody is willing to give me a minimum of 5k cash per week if I can convert it into coins. This was our first transaction and I messed up. Ugh. So I just need to not do this again. Make sense?

So just just file a claim with MoneyPak and get your money back. That's what all the scammers do anyway.

I already spilled the beans with them. As in, I told them I used it to pay somebody. They only refund if you say you never gave it to anybody. It's recorded as well .. blah blah blah .. I'm not getting it back.

I just want that guy to get caught .. Yup. That's what I want.
912  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 05:31:36 PM
Please post the TxID so we can do some digging and figure out where your Bitcoins went and to help identify the culprit.

I sent him 2k GDMP's (500*4). I don't believe there's any TxID's that you speak of.

I'm more than willing to GIVE YOU the moneypak Id's, but I don't think it would be best to post them in a public forum.

I can also supply you with the pictures and receipts of the moneypaks. Once again, I don't want to post this in a public forum, but I'm more than willing to send this to a select group of people.
913  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 05:28:22 PM
The problem is, what can we really do if you don't repay all we have is your ID and we obviously can't get you to pay and any legal ways would cost way more than the amount you owe.

If you really do have a job just get a title loan on your car if you have 1K spare every month.

It's something I'm considering now. Never thought I would have to get one. It's honestly a bit of fear between the paperwork, fees, and lien that its stressful. Just something I would rather not do.

I saw reaching out here as a good option. Figured I could give a good outlet for somebody to make money and possibly a consistant flow of btc.

I mean, I guess that's what I'm asking -- Is there any legal way you can get me to pay. If I have to sign paperwork or something. I'm more than down to do that

Hmm, you don't want to mess with your credit rating. So it means you know for a fact you will not pay your bank loan back?
And thus that will destroy your credit rating? So you rather take a loan on the fourm and then default on it and run away.
Thus saving your credit rating, and not messing with it?

I get it, it sounds weird .. there a bank that offers money. And I'm not going to it. Everytime you open up a loan it does a lot.

This was not only a thread asking for a loan, but also:
- Looking for a lending that could give a stressfree loan looking to make 3.5 btc
- Looking for somebody that was looking to convert at least 5k into cash per week

-----

I like how in this thread you're asking to buy BTC and you were paying by bank deposit and that you need it "within the next 12 hrs" but right after you posted it, you logged out for 6 hrs. Plus you posted it at around 7pm in the evening when the banks are closed and wouldn't be open til the next morning. I smell a SCAMMER.

Whoa whoa whoa .. Lets not go start throwin' out the 'S-Word'. Feelings get hurt that way.

But seriously, I'm not, I do realize I'm asking for a considerable chunk of btc. I understand that, I get it, but I'm also offering an opportunity to get somebody money. 3.5btc in a month and hopefully 5k (converted to btc) per week

I offered the bank deposit because I posted it at night. So when I woke up in the morning I would have somebody interested. So in theory I could roll up to the bank before work and make the deposit.

Like I said, I'll talk to somebody on the phone if it would build my rep. I'll send personal information to the right person. And connect with them on  my social networks.

Fact is, I don't have the money, I just don't. That's why I'm looking for a loan. So the answers are going to be semi-templated for everything such as why don't I

"Go to the bank for a loan"
"Go for a cash advance"
"Go for a title loan"
"Ask a friend"

Dealing with all this involves: time, paperwork, and stress. I was looking for a different avenue here. I was. I get it if you don't want to invest, but please don't call me a scammer without some cold hard facts -- I'm looking to reach out and talk to somebody 1-on-1. I'm doing everything I can here.
914  Economy / Lending / Re: 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 04:44:45 PM
Sorry for the bad luck. Unless you sign over the title to the lender or place in escrow, it's not collateral. Do you offer anything else that would be easy to resell and cheap to send to the lender?

It's very possible I might do this, but doesn't this mean they would own the car?

So you wanted to buy 34 btc in the next 12 hours.

Got scammed. (snif)

And want 17 btc now. Roll Eyes

Oh I forgot: you make 60k a year.
Seems legit.

No collateral

FORGET IT.

No problem, I understand, thank you for your time.

Yes, if you are legit, go to a back, and with such a high interest rate, and collateral (60 k a year), you will get funded immediately.

This could very well happen, but in the next year I plan on opening a mortage. So I would really like to NOT mess with my credit rating in that regard.

obvious scam is obvious

Sorry you feel that way :\

You need a captain obvious Sad

Ahhh ... man I gotcha. I'm gettin tore up in this piece :\

If it's paid off, try to get a loan on the vehicle. They will hold the title until paid off.

Pretty sure you are referring to a title loan .. Dude, those interest rate are killer. NOt saying it won't come to that for me .. but they are KILLER! Not to mention there's hidden fees I'm sure that I don't want to mess with :\

Get a logbook loan on your car.

No clue what that is -- but if it's a title loan I REALLY do not want to mess with that :\

Listen guys, like I said, I'm not a scammer. I will talk to anybody on the phone. Connect with you on my social networks where I am very active. Give you my ID with my home address on it. I really don't have anything to hide.

So if anybody wants to loan me 2k in coins. Please let me know. So I don't get fucking shot. And so my damn kids can eat.

I do not understand....

You wanted to buy 34 btc, but got scammed and now:
You can't have enough cash to feed your children?

Come on man, you do not buy btc if you can't buy food to your family Roll Eyes

I actually ended up getting 10 btc from coinbase from a friend. Then I ended up buying 7 btc from episking.

So I needed 34.5 actually (34.5-10-7=17.5). I'm just asking for the rest.
917  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 34btc - bank deposit on: September 26, 2013, 03:53:52 PM
it just happened to me, someone asked me to send an e-mail to that address and asked me about not escrow, so I took the easy way, just decline, the escrows are the best to protect you and the seller.

So jealous of you right now. Wish I woulda been smarter and took that route.

Sucks that I got scammed  because I was working and was rushed. There probably some unemployed dude blowing my 2k on hookers and blow right now.
918  Economy / Lending / 17.5 BTC Loan For a Month (Because I got scammed) - Will payback 20BTC on: September 26, 2013, 03:36:03 PM
Alright, here goes. I read all the terms and what not, but I admit I'm a tad uncomfortable giving away any of my person information on a public forum.

With that said, I have no issues giving it to somebody via PM, phone, or Google Hangout.

Here's my sob story (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=300488.0) - I n00bed it up and sent a guy 2k worth of bitcoins. He played me so freakin bad and I feel like an a-hole.

What timeframe are we looking at to be paid back?
One month, that's all I need it for. I just need to get settle down and back in the swing of things. I'll pay back 5btc a week. It's very possible I can get this paid back sooner if I take up another job or overtime.

What do you do for work - Can you pay this back?
Paying back is no issue. I work as in IT Director and make around 60k/yr. I have around $500 in bill each month. So I usually have $1000 in "spending money".

Do you own anything else or collateral?
I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is fully paid off. If for some ungodly known reason I can't pay 20btc in a month

What else didn't you say in the forum?
I made a deal with a friend that has a lot of btc coming in. Like around 5k per week. He wants me to exchange for btc. Sooo ... this was my first deal. I messed it up. Now if I can't get it paid back he'll probably freak out and god knows what, but worst of all I'm not going to work with him anymore.

If I loan to you - Will you convert the cash to coins through me?
Sure I don't see why not. I was already promised 8k Friday (yes tomorrow). So I can get you 8k cash if you are in the area.

Honestly, I know there will be A LOT more questions and flaming. I have no issues connecting via phone if needed, but the fact is that I'm looking for the loan so I can continuously keep up with this bitcoin business.

I'm an honest guy. A good guy. And I just want this work. - So please stake me if you are looking out for the "good guys" or you just want to make some money.

I'm offering around 14% interest that I can GUARANTEE you'll get paid back. Plus I can offer a good source of cash flow (bitcoins to cash) if you are looking to go that route yourself.

Thanks for looking - Please PM me anytime day or night. Thanks.
919  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 34btc - bank deposit on: September 26, 2013, 03:22:26 PM
Yeah, it was GDMP's.

He initially asked me to e-mail him at selecthyip@gmail.com because he's not on bitcointalk alot.

Once I e-mailed him he sent me a google hangout request. So we chatted on there.

Then he asked me to send the photos of the GDMP's scratched off. He said he didn't need the reciepts, but the actually photos of the GDMP's. I thought I would be safe because of this.

Once I gave him the GDMP's he said he would have to call and verify everything is OK with them. Got back to me and said they were backed up and he would have to call back in an hour. I was busy at work and didn't follow up til 3-4 hours later. He was being very weird and I decided to check the GDMP's .. all already had a $0 balance. Even after I brought that up and was sure I was scammed he was still talking to me (what a freakin scum) and so I called GDMP and they pretty much said I was f**ked.

Finally he said, bitcoins are "sent". Then logged off and never logged in again. Obviously the coins weren't there. Name he went under was Ryan Cruck.

As I already mentioned I already admitted to GDMP that I was trying to buy goods with the moneypak. So I'm not going to get the money back. As depressed (and broke) as I am. All I really care about right now is him getting caught.
920  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 34btc - bank deposit on: September 26, 2013, 01:17:26 PM
Why didn't you use escrow?
That large a transaction ... and so many people offering escrow services on this forum?

I was dumb. Was in a rush.
