901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what exactly are we waiting for? on: June 26, 2018, 01:25:50 PM
just waiting for the price in the market to be stable again and higher than before.
everyone is just waiting for that. Grin

yes, exactly. but since i am actually 100% HODLER and don't plan to switch to FIAT,
the course is not so important to me right now. but it's a legitimate question. why am i doing all this at all?  Grin
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some ico failed on: June 26, 2018, 01:24:08 PM
because they were never meant to succeed long term

once they have your btc

they start a new one

starting to get it now

that's the way it is, unfortunately.
there are currently very many ico that do not pursue long-term goals but exactly the above described. can unfortunately be implemented too easily because otherwise would not make it so many people  Roll Eyes
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy ETH? on: June 26, 2018, 01:21:41 PM
now Ethereum is trading at the level below 470$ for 1 coin. with the prospect of a long position you can buy.but for daily trading, the market is now too dangerous. need to be very careful with the purchase in this period of time

i agree with this opinion. for a long time it is certainly not wrong to buy something ETH now. the prices are tempting  Grin
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Post my Signature Campaign? on: June 26, 2018, 01:20:30 PM
Hey guys, A little help. I was just wondering where to Post my Signature Campaign post since this is my first time doing the campaign? And any tips that you could give to enchance/improve in creating constructive posts. Thanks

it is always important to read and understand the first post in the bounty thread very carefully.
there are the rules that apply. but there are different requirements for each campaign so be careful  Wink
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: June 26, 2018, 01:19:02 PM
Guys do you think bounty are campaign wastage of time because of we take particiapate in bounty campaign it take 2 to 4 month time the end up and after end the bounty campain it would distribute the token after more 1 to 2 months.
So isn't wastage of time? After taking token you dont know what is the value of token or it is available in exchange or not.

it's not a waste of time, of course.
often there is not as much reward as expected but one spends the time in the forum anyway. and so with a little luck you can earn some extra money.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: June 26, 2018, 01:18:00 PM
I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?

it is currently very tempting but the large sums I would not invest at present. rather wait a little longer whether the prices do not fall again  Smiley
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm getting tired of this! on: June 19, 2018, 02:58:44 PM
This happened to me a lot of times now and I know that this also happen to you guys. How can we fixed the issues where when we applied for a signature campaign, some user will also apply using the same bct account name and bct profile link but they will use their own ETH address. I've reported a lot of times to every manager about this kind of issue and it is really tiresome and my time is being wasted.

Can campaign manager prevent double entry of bct name when someone is applying for a bounty campaign?

yes this is unfortunately a common method to obtain rewards. here only helps to remain vigilant and to inform the BM immediately if there are these cases.

unfortunately, it cannot be avoided. unless the registrations are checked immediately by the BM and do not end up directly in a spreadsheet.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bountyhive scam on: June 19, 2018, 02:48:57 PM
Hi

I have not used bountyhive till now so not aware of their operational model. Before that it is important to note that what are their arrangements for listing of projects for bounty management.

If they have projects that lists there and offer compensation in form of tokens, lets say out of 5% allocated for bounty management, 2% goes to Bountyhive or there may be an arrangement like projects pay compensation upfront in form of BTC/ ETH, and they do not have any stake later from bounty token pool.

In both cases, there are chances of malicious intentions but later is better. Ofcourse, you cannot ask a Cat to take care of your milk. So, if one thinks that they are not adequately paid for their work, they must back off. Unlike many thinkers, bounty hunting is not a freebie from any project. You work for spreading a word about a project which mostly at a very nascent stage in anticipation of payment which shall be made in future. The same work takes a lot of Fiat if outsourced to any other external aganecy.

So one must take a call before commiting your time (which is equivalent to money).

very interesting he thread. i haven't participated yet but so far i had only read good about this page.

but the experiences here already show some problems  Shocked
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: June 19, 2018, 02:47:17 PM
I do not think that 99% of airdrop is a scam. there are still some valuable airdrop. But now it has a little airdrop that is worth. Most of today's airdrops are now worthless.

yes the times of the worthwhile airdrops are over. but nevertheless,
the number is certainly too high with 99%. I would estimate half but not 99%.  Wink

Quote
Richard mentioned in an interview that all SMARC holders will need to do some form of KYC to receive dividends, does this mean that people who don't do KYC have their payouts spread amongst the addresses that do

Hat davon schon mal jemand was gehört?

912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn token and coin free ? on: June 18, 2018, 02:33:57 PM
the cheapest and safest way it is a bounty and airdrop
you invest only  your  time and power, even if the project will be scam -  you will only waste time

that's a very good tip. that says it all.
with this procedure you get without money, so only with time at coin/token  Smiley
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many altcoins on: June 15, 2018, 12:59:04 PM
With the wide array of altcoins available in the crypto market, how do you choose which one to invest on, which one to buy and which of these altcoins worth holding?

in my opinion there are also many. unfortunately too many.
i rely on my gut feeling and the mood here in the forum.

blog posts and youtube videos are often bought and therefore not objective  Roll Eyes
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto legal in your country? on: June 15, 2018, 12:56:42 PM
KYC are done to prevent members of some countries from participating in ICO because it is illegal over there. Does your country permit you to participate in ICO?

Yeah, it's legal in my country.
it would be much too difficult for me to participate in ico etc. with vpn and other tricks.

so I'm very happy about that  Smiley
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge for Newbie on: June 13, 2018, 06:39:02 AM
As a newbie, which is the best to do; To invest(earn) or to Learn(for how long)?

the mixture of both is important.
without looking at the background, it's all just gambling.
of course happiness is always part of it but at least reading and understanding whitepapers are the minimum requirements  Smiley
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: June 13, 2018, 06:37:17 AM
Ethereum is one of the best coins out there. It is very popular, it is very widely used and the price is very low at the moment. But I am all in in one coin, so I would say NO, dinlt invest all of your money in Ethereum.

i agree. as has already been mentioned several times, ETH is certainly not the worst investment
but by no means all-in. no matter how small the amount may be, please make sure to split it up to avoid a total loss  Smiley
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: June 12, 2018, 03:46:09 PM
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? Grin

there is already a reason for this. namely taking advantage of gullible investors. so rip off without consideration for losses.

nowadays a reasonably good idea, good marketing and a little luck is enough. you can earn a lot of money with it  Wink
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to join Bounty Campaigns managed by the ICO team themselves? on: June 12, 2018, 03:41:09 PM
Is it safe to join Bounty Campaigns managed by the ICO team themselves? Even though they are only Newbie/Jr. Member. (But Copper Member)

yes, i like to take part in such campaigns very much. even better than from often overloaded companies that offer this work. so the responsible people often know better and that is better for all involved  Wink
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL? on: June 12, 2018, 03:33:25 PM
I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##

very nice thread here. the opening article brings a lot to the point.
sale or HODL? for me it's not so easy to answer. there are several factors involved  Wink
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why am i here? on: June 12, 2018, 03:30:59 PM
Truth needs to be told.
If you ask so many people why they are on this forum, some may not outrightly admit to the fact.
Let us face the fact, majority of us are here to make money. How we then make it varies. Some through trading, bounty campaigns, mining, airdrop, investments and so on. Which means our primary aim is on making money.
Another thing now is how to acquire the knowledge.
Bitcointalk forum is a good place to acquire knowledge and that is why different people come up with different questions and some also have good suggestions to give.
Nonetheless, the whole thing boils down to making money.
Blockchain technology is a free space. So, gain the knowledge and make your money in a legit way.

very few users really want to deal with the technology and thematics.

everyone wants to get rich quickly with bounty and airdrop but in the deep go only the fewest. that is very sad  Lips sealed
