901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 04, 2023, 05:48:18 AM
When Tuchel joined Bayern Munich he never had enough time to build the team and show his true performance, also many people stated to blame Tuchel because he lost the champions league in the next season they hired Tuchel mostly because of the champions league while we can't complain because Tuchel didn't have enough time.
But in the next season, Bayern Munich can buy the players he needs and he also got the time to rebuild the team for the next season, I think if everything goes well we can see Bayern Munich winning the Bundesliga title easier compared to the previous season.
Thomas Tuchel doing good work in short time and right now Bayern Munich is surely having good performance with just missing aggressive striker which is taking time with most chances we will have good news about this before start of the next season and if this all happens as requirement then surely things could be into their favor and most chances they could be team to watch in Champions League as well.

Currently, there all players are doing good job, and they are surely feeling better than last season which was surely miserable now in coming season their main target is Champions League with Bundesliga is still easy title game for them because in this league we have no good side which can give them good fight for the title race.
902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 tips to manage one's emotions while trading crypto. on: August 04, 2023, 05:06:41 AM
Acting on anger will lose your focus. That's what you have to control because having that emotion will make you a reckless type of trader. You won't believe that it actually happened when you're in that position and you will be surprised when it has actually happened.
Anger and greed are two emotions that will always make you take the wrong decisions, so someone who wants to get success in something that they are doing, whether it's crypto trading, running a business, pursuing a career, or anything in general, you will need to have self-control so that you can have total control over these emotions because if you can't do that, you won't be able to take the right decisions at the right time and that isn't a good thing.

When you are trading cryptocurrencies, you specifically need to make sure that you are not angry nor greedy when you are buying or selling an asset, because if any of these emotions are controlling your head, you will make a hasty decision to either incur a loss or have less profit.
903  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: August 03, 2023, 08:50:14 PM
Corruption is one thing which may happen at the government level (if the government is corrupt) or at an individual level if some individual wants to use some illegal means like money laundering etc but in both cases the gambling sites need to play their part to stop any illegal use of the platform.

I understand that if the government is involved, it will be difficult for the gambling casino to react but they should try to stop any illegal act they witness, as they are the ones who know exactly how much is being deposited and withdrawn from the casino and the purpose also become clear if anyone is depositing and withdrawing right after the minimum wagering requirements.
I think that it is possible only in some fantasy world. In real business there are standard commissions for laundering, why the casino must be the exception? After such withdrawals someone in casino is usually paid for this operation. Without check and taxes. And with crypto it becomes easy to hide such operations.
It used to be easy to hide such operations with crypto in the past, it might be easy now as well but if you are using a platform such as a casino, you won't be able to easily hide such operations since they will ask you for KYC verification if you try to make a big deposit or withdrawal unless you are using a casino that isn't licensed which is the only case you might not be asked for verification but in such platforms, there is always the chance of your money getting stuck and them not allowing you withdraw it.

Even if the casino is paid for the operation, they wouldn't allow this if they have a license because the authorities will ask them and if they are found guilty of allowing such operations, the authorities will get their services closed which is not what they would want to happen to their businesses for sure.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: August 03, 2023, 08:11:52 PM
Quite an interesting thread and I will tell you a little about my first experience when playing gambling.

Long before I got to know online gambling, I had gambled with friends, which at first was just for fun and gradually became addicted because there was fun in it. For the first time I played gambling, I played domino gaple and what was used as betting material was not money but cigarettes. Until finally they started to dare to make money bets, and did it not only with friends but began to move to something even higher, namely at casinos and online gambling. Also not only card gambling but starting to move on to other bets such as sports betting.
Even now if I play chess with anyone in the game there must be bets, otherwise I am reluctant to play chess because I consider it less challenging if there is nothing at stake. Well….. except if I don't have money to bet, it's okay to just fill my free time and to hone my skills in playing chess.

and for online gambling itself, I am quite interested in playing in it and for now I tend to do online gambling more often
I believe all of us have started gambling at the initial stage with our friends because we do most of the things for the first time when we are with them as it makes it more fun when something is done with friends especially if that thing isn't to be done in front of family members or elders. Whether it's smoking for the first time, drinking alcohol, gambling, going out with a girl, or anything in general, our friends are the ultimate secret keepers for us forever.

I remember when we first started gambling on the streets because it was long ago and we didn't have online casinos back then, even if there were platforms, we didn't have any access to them, so we used to gamble on the streets and it used to be a lot of fun since you have all your friends with you.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 02, 2023, 07:44:33 PM
Arsenal have Ramsdale that has been doing well for them, making some very important saves last season, but from the look of things in this preseason,it really looked like Ramsdale is becoming reluctant  in making attempts to make some important saves the way he was doing before, and if Arsenal should sign this Raya,Ramsdale will be conscious of himself and try to be at his best every time, and then, the new Keeper will be feeling frustrated at the bench because I still believe Ramsdale is far more better than him.To me,this is just an attempt to make Ramsdale serious about keeping because he is the current number one,and they will find it difficult to get a goalie that will be as good as him.All he needs to do is to train more harder ahead of the season and to be at his best again.
Next season, Arsenal will play in UEFA Champion League and difference last season participants in Europe League only, I think Arsenal need the same quality level between main player and reserve. But goal keeper seems not really urgent for Arsenal signing new player due consistency from Aaron Ramsdale, he was success play all Premier League games last season and become most appearance Arsenal player with playing 38 games.

David Raya is good goals keeper and has consistent performance last season with Brentford, its will give competition between Aaron Ramsdale and Arsenal have good keeper for next season, not easy for signing David Raya and Arsenal should spent much expensive transfer fees for signing Spain goal keeper.
There is no doubt about David Raya price and Arsenal desire about him, but now they are in completely different situation, and they need suitable replacement as well in emergency case which is not bad he has already done good job with Brentford and now deserve chance here in this elite club as well.

All personal terms and settlements done with they will confirm this arrival in next few days because few exits are also happening in Arsenal which are surely needs to be fix in last few days of this window because now they are preparing for the final squad which will give them better end of the next season in both competitions Ramsdale still could be their first choice, but they are also doing good things which will create good space for them in coming days.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legality of Online Gambling in Different Countries on: August 01, 2023, 06:16:01 PM
The above states have different tax laws, meaning you will pay a different tax if you bet in Kansas than if you bet in Michigan. If you decide to wager in any of the above states, make sure you know how much taxes you will pay.
A gambler should be aware of the laws regarding gambling in their country so they do not get in trouble. Wanting to gamble ignorantly without any idea of the status of gambling laws in your country is not a smart move because ignorance of the law is not an excuse in court of law.

Start gambling the proper way, there are things a new gambler should know and check for/find out in the right order.
a) Find out if gambling is legal in your country.
b) check the license of the casino or gambling site you want to gamble.
c) check their terms and conditions.
Though it is not a smart move and a person shouldn't gamble if their country or state doesn't allow it, a lot of people living in countries that have strict rules against gambling still gamble in the dark, and ironically, there are still ways available for them to gamble without the state knowing about it. These platforms that allow citizens to gamble without a proper license since gambling is banned within the country are always in the verge of getting caught and punished but they never stop only because it makes them a lot of money.

We all know how profitable a gambling platform can be for the owners, and if that net profit that they get gets tax-free as well, that is like icing on the cake for them. So, since the authorities don't know about them, they don't pay any taxes and all the money they get from gamblers do in their pockets.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Abuse ... on: August 01, 2023, 03:48:24 PM
Too much of everything is abuse, you need to sit and think about it, what will happen if you drink too much? What will happen if you eat too much? What will happen if you use your power on your fellow citizens because you are a high ranking official? Everything comes with a bad ending, this makes gambling not left out if this discussion, if you gamble too much you will probably lose everything because thinking straight as a gambler is very hard, it's not common to see a gambler who still take care of his family, the majority of gamblers always end up broke and someone else take over their home and they lost their wives to responsible men.

To live healthy there is an amount of sugar we must consume per day, also salt and others, to be a responsible gambler you must have an amount in mind that you are ready to lose, not going into a casino and betting all money you have in your bank account or Bitcoin wallet.
Whatever you said is absolutely right, excess of anything is harmful, be it gambling or anything in the world, excess of even the things that are actually good and should be done is not good for anyone, but, the topic is not basically about this and you would know this if you read the OP. He has said that someone who takes gambling as a way to earn an income is abusing the term gambling because it is actually not something to be used for that.

And he also says that a person who takes gambling as a source of income should be punishable by law, which is totally absurd if you ask me. Whether gambling is or isn't for that purpose, if someone thinks of it differently and wants to achieve something from it, it will only harm them in the long run, but they are not breaking any law, and I don't really consider that being abuse at all.
908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold coin on: August 01, 2023, 10:59:23 AM
The answer is Bitcoins. I like that you have tried to answer well why it should be Bitcoin. It's a coin that's always better to hold onto over the long term.

$100k new ATH price prediction and many will agree on that price. By the way, you don't look like a beginner anymore because your thinking is like a senior in providing Bitcoin price analysis.
How confident are you about the next ATH price because Standard Chartered has changed its Bitcoin price prediction from $100k to $120k next year.
100,000 dollars is a magnet. However, will the bitcoin price overcome this mark? Personally, I think bitcoin's new ATH in 2024-2025 could be in the 80000-90000 range, and when everyone is waiting for 100000, bitcoin's price may start to decline to trap everyone again.
That is exactly what I think as well. I know that Bitcoin has got the potential to even cross $100k, but it just doesn't feel like it's time for that to happen. I know a lot of people have been speculating about the price of Bitcoin going beyond that target since the last time it touched $69k when most of them were expecting it to go above that range but it trapped a lot of retail investors and crashed right from there, and those who invested then are still waiting for the price to reach there.

I believe something similar might happen this time again, people will be thinking that the price will go very high this time but it might become a trap again for a lot of retail investors leaving them hanging if they buy around the peak like last time, so everyone needs to be very vigilant and sell if they see a decline after the price reaches the peak.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: July 31, 2023, 04:29:01 PM
My main focus on this thread is in this question: as a gambler do you place your bet according to the weight of your financial need or you're always okay with whatever amount that comes out as potential win no matter how small amount?
Neither of those choices- I only bet which is included on the extent of the limit that I allow myself to gamble.

Most of the time, I only set a limit to the extent on how much I should gamble a day. Setting a potential limit for winnings is very dangerous as it may lead to a person chasing profits in a very risky and undesirable circumstances.

For example, if a person has a goal of earning $100 in gambling, earning such amount can be relatively difficult especially if that person has a limited budget. Not to mention, there is that risk of losing more than what you have earned in the process.
What you said about a person chasing profits in a very risky and undesirable manner is true but only if they just have a potential winning target without a limit on their losses for that specific period. Let's suppose if you are aiming to get $50 as profit per day from gambling, you might lose a lot of money in trying to chase that limit, but if you also have a loss limit of only $100 per day, which means if you lose $100 before getting $50, you will stop gambling right there.

This can save you from experiencing excessive losses, the limits will surely depend on your daily, weekly, or monthly budget, and you just need to make sure that you are not crossing the limits, whether you are winning or losing, whatever target is hit first, you will stop gambling in both situations.
910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is AI in crypto a game-changer or just another hype? on: July 31, 2023, 11:45:06 AM
On the other hand, certain CEXs are incorporating AI into their trading bots, particularly for grid trading. They assert that this move allows beginners to take advantage of trading strategies without needing extensive expertise in the field.
Trading bot could be useful in some aspects of trading but we have to understand that this may also not be applicable to many of these trading, seing centralized exchanges making use of trading bot or AI as we may call it can be effectively adopted with them but you can be rest assured that they also employed monitoring system analyst that supports or guide the activities that this AI machines person for their own best of interest, if but they may not yield maximum performance in their system of trading if they only depends on trading bot system.
If we are not new in trading, we will know if using a bot is beneficial for us or not. For starters, they should start manually or they can also read guides to know more about the thing that they are venturing. If the AI/bot of the exchange is well coded then it might attract lots of traders on using them. That should yield the exchange a maximum profit.

It's only up to the trader now if how can they make their trades more effective. The strategy should and analysis should still come from them. Trading platforms are just like a place or market to make the trade happen. Anyway, I believe that AI in crypto is not a game changer but it is only just a hype.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: July 30, 2023, 07:26:19 PM
Human brain is not naturally fixed when continuous gambling occurs. For this one should take a break after gambling in order not to get addicted to gambling. A gambler can spend time in a variety of ways during this break. Overall he should take some time away from gambling. One can go for a walk somewhere far away or one can play computer games it depends on one's desire. In this context when a gambler takes a break for some time, he can resume gambling with passion.
And that break can be longer or shorter, depending on how severe the addiction of the gambler. It's always recommended to find other ways to entertain our selves only to get distracted from gambling but we must be careful dealing on those activities because we could also get addicted on them.

We might be gambling free already but we have another problem to solved. I think that's tiring. It's like we are stuck in a loop. To gamble with passion sound serious. I think this is a bad idea as this can make us attach to the activity easily. Some cured addicted gamblers are afraid to try gambling again but this was fine. As they, prevention is better than cure.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to invest 7k usdt on: July 30, 2023, 05:50:10 PM
Of course, there is no way to get fixed profits daily because the price of crypto is unpredictable...

Nevertheless, there are fraudulent platforms in the cryptocurrency market that promise guaranteed profits and their potential customers are participants such as OP. And if the OP continues to look for a guaranteed daily profit for himself, he will certainly lose all his money.
The only way to know is if we research their background but usually it's a scam if the offered returns are high enough even for a small amount of money invested. If it's real then all people will just do it to earn daily profits easily and they will not work anymore on their office or field jobs. $30 is kinda bit high for a $7k investment so I agree on what others have said that it's quite unrealistic.

Maybe if we will do trading, this amount can be achieved using the same capital but the condition is you must be a pro trader first. Another condition is you may not get the same amount daily. In trading, sometimes our income is less but that's better than being zero the whole day. There are still times that our income is higher than on what we usually expect.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: July 29, 2023, 06:09:30 PM
A few days ago I saw Nolan's new film about Oppenheimer's life and (not really a spoiler) in a few moments during the film the protagonist is worried about the possibility of a chain reaction that could be able to burn the entire earth's atmosphere. Although the probability is "almost zero", it is still theoretically possible and, therefore, the psychological effects of these images are disturbing for him.

Source: www.scienceabc.com / NASA Vadim Sadovskis.

I couldn't help but think about this thread, and how the positive side of the same effect (when it doesn't become an obsession) is the reason of lotteries being so successful. Although the possibility is near zero, images of a dear life come to the player's mind, creating a pleasant feeling.
The dream of a dear life is exactly what keeps a gambler going, or should I say a poor gambler, because a person who doesn't have a lot of money or doesn't have money at all tends to take gambling as their only way to have a better life, they know they can't earn a lot of money in a very short period of time due to lack of resources, education, opportunities, and a lot of other things, so they take gambling as the only route that can possibly give them a better life.

If that wasn't the thought, I bet no one would waste the little money that they get by working for hours in labor, because even if a person is addicted to gambling, they also understand that you lose more than you win in gambling, but it is just the hope for that one win that might make a difference.
914  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad impact when You carry out Online or Offline Loans on an ongoing basis on: July 29, 2023, 05:35:01 PM
When there is no other course of action and you have to expand your capital then taking loan is not a unpleasant aim but if you once loss that amount then taking loan repeatedly in such a need to return back and to make more money then this will become your habit which is surely a bad habit.

If you have 100 percent indemnification regarding any business that you will make more money by investing in business then take loan otherwise avoid loan  as you can.
You are right that taking loan for buying such materials which is not a type of investment like you are buying expensive mobile for yourself for time pass is not good idea but if you are using mobile for online business then you can do it because through online business you will earn lots of money in very short period of time but it will depends on type of business and your efforts.
A lot of people make the mistake of taking loans without any proper plan as to where they will use that and how they will repay it back, they don't have any business plans, and they don't even work or have any source of income that can be used to repay the loan back, so what they do is just take the loan, spend it on themselves and their household needs and when the time reaches for repayment, they sit with their hands on their head worried about how they will repay the loan.

I've also seen a lot of people who take loans only to gamble with them hoping that they will double the money and repay the loan and still have a lot of money left that they can use either on gambling or to buy things and stuff, but they just ignore the fact that gambling will eat the money up and that is exactly what happens.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: July 29, 2023, 04:41:11 PM
It's always been said over time that peeps better gamble responsibly...
It doesn't pay anyone to keep to themselves their ideas on how they're able to solve them addiction problems and spend less on gambling too. I remember seeing peeps suffering as a result of thinking that alot more could be done if they keep playing - so a grownup man stood in front of me and wagered away 250k naira, and he ended up begging for the least TPfare to go home with .... That was bad. According to him, he's got a wife and two kids at home, how was he gonna survive???
I find such people not to be normal because if you are normal and have the ability to think critically, when you know you have a family at home, a wife, and kids, and you are the only one they have to take care of them, you would never gamble all the money that you have got and make yourself totally broke, that is nothing but foolishness. Even if a person thinks that they could win and double the money, there is always the possibility of losing as well.

This is exactly the reason why people always say that you should only gamble with what you can afford to lose if you are gambling away all the money and then begging for some money so that you can catch the bus and go home, there can be no person who can be more miserable than you.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 29, 2023, 03:08:20 PM
If a woman is interested in gambling, she should be allowed to gamble and get entertained while gambling at the casino because there's no gender requirements in gambling, anyone can gamble as long as they feels secured in doing so and can afford the risk involved in gambling, most women were known to have low priority for gambling because it requires money, loosing it and it's time taking as well.
You mentioned a good point at the end that women mostly don't like gambling because it takes up a lot of money, and we all know that women tend to save more money than men, they don't spend money on things that are not extremely important, especially if the money is their own, lol.  Grin I mean, if they know the husband or a boyfriend is spending the money, they might not care that much if they earn themselves, they would care about that.

So this is also one of the reasons why most women don't gamble. And I don't think that there is any gender discrimination in any casino whether it's online or land-based, anyone from any gender can join a casino and gamble as long as they wish and have money for it and no one will stop them.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Crypto vs. Traditional Gambling on: July 29, 2023, 02:35:44 PM
From the development of crypto casinos, which are increasing very rapidly, we can see that people are very enthusiastic about crypto casinos, in fact, every day there are always novice gamblers who are starting to enter the crypto gambling industry.
Even so, traditional casinos are still widely enjoyed by some gamblers, but over time traditional casinos will be left behind and maybe traditional casino owners will also develop their casino business to become online and based on crypto.
If today's traditional casino owners don't try to develop online casinos, maybe they will lose their place and their income will definitely experience a pretty drastic decline.
It's only sad that along with the developments of the crypto casino, are the regulations that are being put in place. This makes crypto users slowly hate accessing them. Cryptos are still hard to understand so I don't think there are new people who will immediately try a crypto casino without having an adequate knowledge about crypto. Even me, it took me a long time to get involved in a crypto casino.

The internet is not a new thing anymore but why there are still traditional casinos? I guess that simply means they are still satisfied of the income that they are getting. There will always be a demand for them because they have their advantage which can't possibly be copied by the online/crypto casinos.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: July 28, 2023, 08:11:30 PM
Though it's currently very common in online casinos to wager bonuses before they can be claimed, left to me I'll prefer to the bonuses to be claimed without wagering,
That's possible but yes, it's rare to find such a bonus.

I've subscribed to an email list at most fiat online casinos and most of them are offering good bonuses but obviously, there's a wagering requirement. If there's a promotion referring to No Wager bonuses, they are only giving out a few free spins and there's a deposit requirement.

For me, don't expect too much from that as there's a good and better way instead even if there's a wagering requirement involved. That is, bonuses should allow a decent max withdrawal amount especially if the wagering requirement or turnover is difficult to achieve. Sometimes I'm seeing only an average $50 max withdrawal for an x30 - x45 turnover. That was something hard to do and the reward for the effort is not worth it.
Casinos won't let anyone take any money for free, so even if they are giving a no-wagering bonus, whether it's free spins or anything, they still wouldn't let you withdraw the money that you might win from that, and they will ask you to first make a certain deposit and then do some wagering with that and then you can withdraw the money you've won from free bonus or spins, so there is basically no free lunch as they say, it's as simple as that.

That is why it is simply better to gamble at a casino that you trust the most and that you know has a good reputation, and gamble only with your deposit and don't take any bonus with it because when you take a bonus, it comes with a pretty high wagering requirement which you can't fulfill and you will lose everything before doing that.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: July 28, 2023, 07:23:30 PM
It only happened to me once that I was winning a lot of money in the casino and I thought I was going to double what I was winning, I don't know, for a moment I forgot the magnitude of the money I was winning, it's not much , they were 500usd, but I did them in a way that I don't remember, I know I played without thinking and by mistake in the crash games I bet 5x and it was given to me, then I didn't settle, since I had enough money to bet I began to bet on the 7x and to withdraw with that, after that it reached 3x, 2x, it never reached 7x, and the last bet I abused, I put almost everything I had and yes, I lost it, later I didn't believe it, later If I had that money, I lost it all.
Well, that is what happens when you don't stop at the right time, no matter how much you've won, it is not important that you keep winning, as they say, the house will eventually win it back if you give it the opportunity. A wise gambler is someone who exits the casino at that exact moment when they see they've already won something and are ahead of the house because if they continue gambling after that, they will most likely lose everything back to the house.

That is why it is important to have a lot of patience and self-control as a gambler to be able to get some profit when you have the opportunity, we all know that it is not an easy thing to do as a gambler since you always feel like you can win more if you have managed to win this much so far.

For me, it’s an honor to be part of this very inspiring and educational forum that create limitless valuable discussions. Thanks to Satoshi for his great initiative. And even if I have to influence others to enter in the forum, I would gladly do that as soon as I see passion from them to actually learn and not just to make a living and expect quick profits.
Even if the ones who want to join the forum only earn money, let them do it because they won't really get a lot. This forum is a place for knowledge and education, and if new users join the forum only for signature campaigns and earning opportunities and not for knowledge and information regarding the industry, I don't think they will get much success in that since it is not a joke anymore to rank up and you can't join any campaigns without a higher rank these days.

If they want to join Bounty campaigns, they will get nothing out of it but will surely waste a lot of their time and efforts promoting projects and tokens that have no worth at all, and get a bunch of tokens at the end of the day that has no value in the market with no hope of gaining any in the future.
