901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos games are not made by the casino teams but... on: August 21, 2023, 08:35:39 AM
Some people still think that games on online casinos are from the casino teams themselves but those games are from software providers, is this valid or not.

Yes. The games offered on casino platforms are often provided by third-party software providers rather than being developed by the casinos themselves. However, it depends on which games we are talking about. Many casino platforms also offer so-called "In-house" games, which are developed by their own development teams.

The question I have in mind is, aren't the developers the ones that should be responsible for any manipulation in the games or it's still possible for the casino team and members to manipulate the game engines?

Just because a game was developed by someone else doesn't mean it can't be manipulated by the casino platform. It's all just software code, after all, right? Besides, there have been proven cases of casino platforms using pirated versions of games from well-known providers.

Yes i have posted BTC addresses from my original account but because the wallets became corrupted i deleted them and i upgraded Comps.

So your wallet got corrupted and instead of fixing it, you deleted it and created a new one? Smart move! (Or was the wallet compromised, not corrupted? But that still wouldn't explain why you don't have access to the private keys.) In any case, how do you expect to prove otherwise?

Not onyl am i pissed about losing my Original Username the hack caused real damage to me and many others. The hack allowed access to main Emails causing Stolen identities,Information on other accounts,Medical etc. etc.

All this because of an allegedly compromised forum account? Damn, your OpSec really sucks!  But no, instead of admitting mistakes and learning something from it, let's blame theymos instead! Wink

Wow! Kad sam pitao je li menadžer nekome poznat, nisam znao da imamo istražitelje među nama Grin Svakako ti hvala na ovako detaljnoj analizi. Mislim da ću ipak preskočiti prijavu. Neka mene u ovoj kampanji dok ne upadne nešto bolje. A ako i ne upadne, svejedno je $70 tjedno sasvim pristojan iznos.

i ask my developer  to change it. i prefer spot trading like holding coins convert when the price is cheaper.

What developer? Last time, you couldn't even edit the template on your site or make simple changes, like removing the "Lorem Ipsum" text. (By the way, what happened to that project, anyway?) And now you're saying you can pull off building a whole crypto exchange site? Seriously, you sure you're not getting ahead of yourself? Maybe consider starting small and then working your way up? Just a thought!  Undecided

If I remember correctly, there was a guy who predicted the value of bitcoin where he or she thought it would be in the next 10 years, which appears to have happened. The OP was Anonymous under it was Guest, so there were times when people were allowed to post without needing an account here on the forum. Link to the post: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen.
I came across the post through this post  12 years of a Legendary post

The person who started that post wasn't Anonymous when he wrote it. But it seems like he might have talked to the admin later to hide his identity (disassociate the post from his account). You can check out the third post in that conversation, where someone quoted the original poster and his username was still there.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Try your luck with 1 to 1 odds game on: August 18, 2023, 06:53:32 PM
I will advice people to avoid this site.

Your web3 gambling site domain was registered barely 3 months ago. While people are using noncustodial wallet to connect, if the web3 gambling site belongs scammers, the seed phrase or private key of the noncustodial wallet can be revealed and the wallet would be compromised.

What? Is this for real? I cannot process this because I am unsure if we will end up revealing the seed when we connect web3 applications and our wallets.
Just being curious I did search about the risks of connecting to the web3 application and I got shocking results too. But I am more or less disappointed that why such a nice casino has to go down because of the few bad examples.

I am not supporting anything here but it's disgraceful to see how these new-generation applications are not strong at their security.

No, it's not possible for a malicious actor to get your seed or private key of your wallet simply by connecting the wallet to a Web3 Dapp. At least, as far as I know, that hasn't happened yet. If it did, that would be a mega screw-up in the whole smart contract world.

There is a potential scenario where connecting your wallet to a Dapp could put your funds at risk if you're not cautious. If you approve a transaction that you shouldn't, there's a chance that the Dapp could steal your wallet's funds. I believe this is biggest security risk, but it mainly depends on folks not paying attention and being a bit clueless.

By the way, your quote has nothing to do with Web3 or Dapps.

<cut>

Baš me zanima hoće li ostati novaca u escrowu i što će minerjones napraviti s viškom. Možda na kraju dobijete i bonuse! Wink

Manipulatorski smrdo. Tesla i Musk prodaju svoju zalihe jel?

911  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: im launching my service;) on: August 18, 2023, 03:04:34 PM
im planing to launch my website this kind of service but not all coins. i have to create my own token bnb smart chain like this fees or fee token fees to usdt.  in play to earn same token will used in reward

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I doubt you'll be launching anything next month.  Wink

So, let's say "crypto exchange" wins the poll. What's the plan from there? You're just gonna grab a cheap "crypto exchange" script from somewhere like Codecanyon, slap it on your domain, and call it a day?
Yes. I'm a bit skeptical, but I hope you've got a solid plan to make this "service" truly work for all users. Looking forward to seeing how it pans out next month!
912  Economy / Economics / Re: Running faucet business in 2023 still possible? on: August 18, 2023, 02:51:08 PM
Lastly, what advice do you have for my goal?

You have to consider how will you monetize your new faucet site.

Get a good plan together. Thinking about putting up ads for your visitors? If yes, what kind? Also, are you thinking of using affiliate links? It's all stuff to consider as you work on your faucet site. Once you've got that sorted, then you can start thinking about the technical and other details.
913  Economy / Reputation / Re: Strange behaviour of too many alts at once. on: August 18, 2023, 08:08:36 AM
That thread should be reported to the moderators for spamming. I notice that Kn0wn is treading the same path as the WreckLeague account, which has already been banned, and is likely part of a big group of throwaway alt accounts.

WreckLeague used to flood the forum with posts having the exact same content while pushing this web address:
Code:
https://bitcase.optima.org
Now, that domain is on my antivirus' blacklist, so it's likely they switched to a new domain because of this.
914  Economy / Gambling / Re: 0xBET | Crypto Casino 🎲 Sportsbook ⚽ Fast Payouts ✅ on: August 18, 2023, 07:38:38 AM
They openly state on their website that they are part of the same group. There is no mention anywhere that it is an independent casino or that it is managed by a separate team.
'Casbit Group' isn't a group actually, it is the name of a company. Casbit Group N.V. is the license operator for 0xBet and some other casinos. The live support has just confirmed that 0x.bet is an independent casino.

Ah, I see. I stand corrected.

The thing is, we can't exactly be 100% sure about what's happening backstage. These days, anyone can get their hands on those white-label deals from popular casino platforms and kickstart their own brand. Even having an initial capital isn't necessarily a requirement, as you operate on a commission basis. But here's the kicker: all the big stuff is still being handled by the main company. Customer support, security checks, payments, withdrawals – basically, everything that counts. So, who's actually the boss of the casino in a scenario like this?

BTW, I have given the reference of Dama N.V above, and you are aware of the number casinos operated by them. You had posted a list in my thread.

That's a good point. I'm surprised you remember that!
915  Economy / Gambling / Re: Opinion on crypto casino project on: August 18, 2023, 07:20:09 AM
all types of games in the casino have the same character. gamblers who play slots more often will spend their money and time playing slots. if you want to make a casino with unique games, I don't know what uniqueness you will actually offer.

Well, I don't really agree with that opinion. There is always room to invent something new; that's how innovation has driven progress throughout history. Take, for example, the dice game – these things didn't really exist in online casinos before the emergence of crypto casinos. The same applies to the crash game, which I believe the first version was created sometime in 2015. Plus, bringing in these new games is a reminder that even old-school ideas can get a modern twist.
916  Economy / Gambling / Re: Opinion on crypto casino project on: August 17, 2023, 08:01:36 PM
Good day everyone,

I'm interested to launch a crypto casino and I'd like to get your opinion.

My assumption is the following. The time where anyone could create a crypto casino and had a chance to compete is over. There are now very large companies like stake who have a dominant enough position to attract players with their affiliate deals, celebrity endorsements, welcome / retention bonuses and so on .. Most of the crypto casinos have the same platform design / game offering as stake which means trying to compete with them with bonuses isn't realistic.

You've got some good points, but I don't think you're completely right. Even with all those "big" and well-established gambling platforms around, new ones pop up all the time. Just take a look at this gambling section; in the last year alone, over 900 new topics have been posted. It's true that not all of these announcements about new gambling sites, but a significant portion of them are. Some of these new projects do well, others not so much. And then there are those that appear for a moment and disappear just as swiftly, leaving us wondering what happened.

Now, from my business understanding, in order to go after the dominant players in any industry and create a successful business, you need to do either something that they don't (ex: a unique exciting slot game that no one else has), or acquire customers through a channel that is overlooked by others (ex: Stake flooded Twitch when the other didn't look at it) or go after a dissatisfied customer base ...

I've come across multiple posts where the original bitcoin gamblers regretted the fact that none of the crypto casinos are anonymous like they all used to be, almost all of them requiring KYC at some point of the customer journey.

I think this is an opportunity to build something :

A real decentralised crypto casino platform - 100% anonymous.
Same principle as a decentralised exchange like Uniswap, all you need to get started is a non-custodial wallet with funds. No KYC.
Being fully decentralised and using exclusively crypto means we're operating within a grey area in the eyes of the law and therefore "no need" for a license.
I believe that in order to gain trust, using only provably fair games would be a great idea in order to show that it isn’t rigged.

It's just an idea so far but I think getting feedback from real players is the first step to validate my assumption !

I'm not particularly drawn to decentralized gambling since it generally involves investing money in some form of altcoins, which is kind of a gamble on its own. However, I'm sure there have been some similar tries already. To dig deeper, though, you'd have to head over to the Altcoins section. Those puppies don't really fit into the Bitcoin gambling realm.
917  Economy / Gambling / Re: 0xBET | Crypto Casino 🎲 Sportsbook ⚽ Fast Payouts ✅ on: August 17, 2023, 06:27:11 PM
I also managed to find out that 0XBet Casino is part of the Casbit group, which includes other casinos such as JustBit and TrueFlip
I had also noticed it yesterday. Are those casinos owned by the same team? I have seen many other casinos under the same company (license operator) before, where each of them says that they are an independent casino and operated by individual team. As an example: you will find numerous casinos under Dama N.V. company.

They openly state on their website that they are part of the same group. There is no mention anywhere that it is an independent casino or that it is managed by a separate team.

Quote from: https://0x.bet/
0x.bet and related rights belong to Casbit Group N.V.

I found too many issues, such as they are forcing everyone to download thier app in disguise. The next issue is that you are forced to go through KYC. Next problem is that you have to deposit before experiencing the platform.

To be honest, they don't force you to install their app; it's entirely optional. In fact, some people prefer having a dedicated app for online gambling sites due to certain advantages that the browser version might lack. As for the other "concerns" you've raised, I don't see any compelling reasons for users to worry about the casino any more than they would about any other new gambling platform. What's your actual issue with them? Besides, your comparison with a failed gambling platform just based on the fact that they use the same campaign manager is ridiculous.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: August 17, 2023, 05:21:21 PM
Most of the time casino don't require high wagering requirements on deposits and x1 is the standard for most casinos.
<cut>

Just to follow up on this part, the OP has actually compiled a list of crypto casinos with relatively high wagering requirements (more than 1x) on no-bonus deposits that you can check: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5448871.0

Clearly, we can't talk about the majority of casinos in this context, as the list is quite limited. However, it wouldn't be accurate to say that 1x is the industry standard either. As you can see, there are some well-known names that have a wagering requirement of 3x or more of the deposited amount before you can take out your winnings.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: August 17, 2023, 05:00:52 PM
Lets face it: trying to understand human nature is no easy task. Someone telling you he was on drugs might explain his "irresponsible" actions. It's simple to criticise from a distance. And for the love of God, life isn't a movie; talking about "The Hangover" as if it were a serious study of Vegas visitors' habits is ludicrous.

The act of finishing someone else's drink is the height of foolishness and a demonstration of the fundamental carelessness that characterises our species. Perhaps alcohol impaired his judgement.

Haha! Exactly! I'm surprised by some of the comment here. It's as if they've never had "one too many" in their lives and done some stupid shit. I know I have. We all have those moments when we let loose and make questionable decisions - it's a part of being human. Unless, of course, you live the Amish life. But in that case, casinos (or even online gambling forums) might not exactly align with the lifestyle.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: August 17, 2023, 09:39:50 AM
But I'm sure there are lots of female gamblers in online casinos because some of my office friends often play slot gambling on their cellphones, but I don't know for sure whether they really have a lot of users, because slot machines just need luck and don't need a mathematical strategy, so in my opinion Online casinos are more popular with women too.

The idea that casinos are mainly a male domain is evolving. I did some research on my own, and here's what I've found. Men tend to engage in gambling more frequently and for longer period of times. They take greater risks and hazards, and invest more money in their games. On the other hand, women tend to exercise more caution. They lean towards playing with smaller amounts, prioritizing enjoyment over chasing for big wins.

While I don't have precise statistics, I belive that women often gamble for the sake of enjoyment and to connect with others, especially in the social realm of online gambling. Men, on the other hand, might display a higher level of competitiveness and a focus on monetary gains, but that's just my opinion.
