901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: January 16, 2024, 11:43:49 AM
Gamblers learn faster with experience. Working closely with the experience players helps if they hang out in same casino with the newbie. It's not only about an online reading and research. I think the newbie needs to learn from his personal experiences, when not opportune to spend time with a professional gambler. Staying watchful and cautious of the online instructions and the real experience could help the gambler to escape multiple addictive challenges that walks with gambling. Learning through it and becoming experienced such that gravity doesn't pull the player strongly to gamble irresponsibly. They'll undergo, indeed, some thick and thins till they begin to perfect it. Some days could feel harder than the other, but staying true and being a good citizen, the player would be able to bypass those addictive eras and see gambling for it's truly doing to the society and gamblers.
Talking to expert gamblers in a casino is a goldmine. Online reading lacks the excitement, atmosphere, and live techniques. In this interactive classroom, every game is a lesson and every player may teach.

I's different to witness than to participate, making your own decisions, taking risks, and sometimes learning the hard way. This hands-on approach creates resilience and game knowledge customised to you. Indeed, attention is essential. Maturity in gambling is staying in control, acknowledging dangers, and knowing when to back off.

Though the trip has ups and downs, its all part of the learning curve. Embracing both experienced players' advice and own experience helps make a responsible gambler. It's about enjoying the game, learning from every hand, and remembering that gambling should be pleasant and controlled

The newbies who learn from experts and tend to try out their own ways would someday get to a professional level of gambling. Because they'll easily adapt to the strategies of those experts on how to deal with losses, bankroll management, self-control etc. Not all of them have similar strategies. Hence a gambler needs to be vast and research further to have other perspectives of gambling and how it works. So, just relying on the information we see online won't be validated as a means of learning gambling strategies. The gambler also needs to follow up with gambling discussions with other gamblers, based on the results and outcome they encounter while gambling. Although the process may seem difficult to accomplish, but we all need time to adjust towards a positive aspect of life experiences.

Those professionals also invested time, so would the newbie before he understands the processes being used by professionals to minimize their losses. Some people can fasten their learning capabilities by taking their tutorials so serious. And implementing them immediately to at least begin to master the process. Gamblers who are fond of garnering information on gambling but fail to try it wouldn't learn like those who observe the reactions that follows if they try a specific idea. That's why the online reading technique isn't recommended for newbies who actually wants to learn how to be a successful gambler. Because even though the gambler is able to implement those advise, he may not be able to response positively to the result, when he's not under the watch of somebody else who can calm his nerves. Such is mainly the work of an expert to a newbie. In this context.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you pay attention on other people bet and it amount, and does it affect you? on: January 16, 2024, 11:24:58 AM
It makes no difference since the players is on a whole unique journey. Allowing other players wins to affect my decisions or strategies wouldn't be of a help to the results I'd get while gambling. I view those score boards in casino, and the amount of money other gamblers win is quite fascinating. But, while gambling, I'd want to earn like that, yet it's not possible to achieve immediately. The gamblers may have not won, if they didn't gamble for a long period and kept trying. However, it looks easier said, than done. Reading Op's narratives one would think gambling can easily be won like the people Op illustrated in his words. It's a random winning day for everyone. When we win, people would want to do like us, but it won't work out for them, as their strategies may not correspond with ours.

When testing a strategy, I keep to it until the method works out. Like in the example of one player on Op's thread, who lost 1k then tried again and won 5k. Such strategy seems risky for most gamblers, but they fail to understand why their next game is most likely to be positive if they tried the same strategy that didn't get them a win. Moreover, it depends on the game, and how players perceive the gambling niche. The only important aspect of paying attention to other people's game should be as a form of motivation. The gambler can only see those winnings as a catalyst to help his gambling journey. But being vulnerable to the result of others, could control the action of the gambler to make mistakes. I think it's better not to feel affected by those results, as it may not worth the stress of wondering how other gamblers end up winning big. Focusing on our own strategy with same effort will help us make better predictions.
903  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who does gambling addiction affect the most? on: January 15, 2024, 04:40:46 PM
The one affected the most when someone becomes addicted are those people surrounding him. If someone gets too dependent on gambling to the extent that he affects other people negatively, the consequences lies heavily on him, but the effects of it to those close to him will manifest for longer time more than what he could possibly remember. Those people close to him will serve as a collateral damage of his choices. They will be entangled with the repercussions of the addict's wrong decisions in life.

Growing up with such bad role model could probably take a toll on someone's mental health. The addict might quit, be rehabilitated, then be sober later on, but the remnants of his wrongdoings will be remembered by the one who suffered to it. There's a saying that goes, the axe forgets, the tree remembers. And it's really true. You can forget what you did during your darkest days, but those whom you abused, you did wrong, and those whom you neglected will forever take it with them. This is why it's important to be self-aware to avoid things like this. Be the parent, spouse, friend, and kid that you want to have. It's unfair to let other people suffer because of you and because of your wrong choices.

You have a good idea on this, but it's also left for the recipient of the pain to look back at it and move on. It's all in the past and if they keep shuttling back and forth his past experiences with the addicted person. He could affect his own recent behavior or productivity. Humans can help a person only when they can. Most times it's hard not to feel bad about some thoughts, but it doesn't stay with us, as the scar is not ours. In your saying, are you saying the family members are the threes while the addict the axe? I think it doesn't fit right into this scenario between an addicted person and his family. Because the addicted is not expected to forget about his past, as well. Since nobody in the family will forget, saying that the axe forgets sounds weird. Considering you said, the consequences lie heavily on the addicted person.

Consider this: in the world of online gaming, just like in families dealing with addiction, communication is key. Strategizing, respecting each player's role, and realising that the game occasionally tests skill and teamwork are all important. An ongoing process of understanding, adapting, and helping.

The addict needs to comply with his family and help the ongoing healing process. Some addicts forget their cooperation is needed in curing their problem gambling. It's important that the gamblers don't miss out this dear opportunity, by avoiding the helpers. Resisting help is a bad point of gambling addiction. Developing countervailing forces to distract his family from helping him. So, with the help of the addicted person on his pains and emotions, how he's been surviving the problem all by himself. Few more efforts is then needed to end the gambler's problem. Then the family will then decide if they'll wish to adapt to the trouble or quietly relinquish such thoughts from their brain. Though it takes time, but when we don't start, we never get to finishing line.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 15, 2024, 04:27:25 PM
Bet gamblers have other reasons why they gamble every day. Not just once a week. Due to the chase for money, they begin to predict on leagues they know nothing about.

If someone does not know about a league yet place a bet for a team, that's a dumb thing. A gambler has a lot more options on the market. The casino market is huge and there are thousands of casinos where a player can gamble. I do not see any reason why a person would place a bet on a league that he does not know anything about. I do not like tennis and I don't know who is a good player and who is bad. If I don't know and yet place a bet, it's more than gambling. I am risking my money on nothing. Gambling everyday just because someone want to make money is absurd. They are purely addicted to gambling. What could be the possible solution?

The solution to this type of gambling habit is constant orientation that doing such things don't yield wins. As these gamblers add up those games for money's sake. Coupled with the fact that their bank roll is so less that they can't get a meaningful win if they gathered 2-3 games. I've discussed with such gamblers, and they accepted being greedy caused it. They now hope completely on luck, but deep down knows they'll lose out in the game. Such players hardly win. So, they easily got addicted to accumulating more games and needs a better bank roll to change. In a discussion with another gambler on same problem, he said he could bet on a single game with good amount of money if he had enough money on his bank roll. I think the problem is money, source and greed.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 15, 2024, 04:18:48 PM
Now imagine that this gambling expert is you. What arguments will you give?
The arguments here is very obvious. Any individual who seeks the help of a therapist for their gambling problems certain is struggling deeply with it and it has messed up a huge part of their lives. What I will do in this case is to point show him all the things in his life that has gone wrong which is his fault and then on the flip side show him real life examples of former gambling addicts whose life were messed up but came for therapy and then straightened up their lives and are doing well.  It is a very strong example that can foster and motivate change.

This is an idea from my head but there should be a program that would show gambling addicts their lives in 10 years if they keep gambling irresponsibly. It is futuristic enough for them to change.

Such program would depend completely on speculations, as it's not a realistic to know how a person's mental problem would become in the coming years. It's like forecasting one's future. However, as a therapist, you'll achieve lots of changes if you show him examples of people who have struggled with addiction and later were healed. Those experiences help him to realize that his problem is solvable. Following up with strategic conversations that could make the person feel remorse for his mistake, helps in reviving back the real behavior of the person. This takes lots of time, friendship matters. People can change, but faster when a friend is interested in changing them. The addict needs help to get over his problem gambling, as a therapist it'll be nice, I pose as his close friend.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What strategies do you adopt that can help to make millions in sport betting on: January 15, 2024, 04:01:14 PM
In sport games which I don't participate most often, I'd take the third pool, staking good money on a single game. Have tried that in card games and black roulette, but it's very risky to do that on both. Since the outcome is not in the slightest, guarantee. Hence, using myself as an example, the strategies differ depending on the type of game. It'll be wrong to use the third pool on slots games, where I prefer. But it works perfectly well for soccer gamblers. Only few strategies are applicable to all games in gambling. Critical thinking, analysis, observation, time management are strategies gamblers need to invest some efforts to execute. Trying the winning strategies alone, would lead a gambler to lose out more money. Compared to the skills one may get while gambling.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: January 15, 2024, 03:54:36 PM

You're right, gambling is not for everyone because there are people who get hot-tempered, can't handle losses, can't control themselves, etc. Gambling is dangerous for such people, they are the ones who get addicted quickly. We know that gambling relieves stress sometimes, it often gives you stress especially if you are serious about life. If you gamble, always think of your family, always set a budget that you should not exceed. It's easy to be a responsible gambler as long as you know what you're doing.

Some people will easily hurt others because of their frustrations and when you partner it with losing in gambling it will be more serious and others are gonna be in trouble while they have a kind of that person in their house or community. I remember when I had a friend and he was good at playing pools because that's one of the sports in our community that they make bets out of while playing. My friend was just a young guy and when he won big money from those big men, they made some evil plot against him while he was going home and they took his money from him after seriously beating him in the middle of the road and that's only one example of persons that are not supposed to be playing games like that because they cannot handle the heat when they lose their money.

Hmm maybe your friend didn't gamble in a casino. It could be some indoor gambling competition between him and the big men. If it's the later, then the person was actually gambling with hot tempered gamblers. Who can't accept defeat. Or maybe the other men are cliques of friends that rip off a winner's money. That's the risk of gambling with friends, off the casino settings. The casino is there to guarantee that players would be paid after winning. Without facing any dispute with fellow gamblers. However, the offline casino is also not conducive for gamblers because of such attacks. I'd say that gamblers who win early should leave the premises, while the day is clear. This type of attacks happens during the night hours.

What's The Weirdest Alibi Of Gamblers you've heard or read, So They Can Continue Gambling
I remember this childhood friend who's into lottery. He buy ticket almost everyday (this is before, I don't know if he gave up already) because he has numbers in mind and that are the birthdays of their family members. He said "If I don't buy ticket then how can I become rich?" He has a point though. But we know the chances in lottery, it's one in a million and close to impossible.

lottery demands lots of numbers and not everyone gets them correctly. The winning possibility is quite slim. But when one wins, he goes home a millionaire. That would be cemented on the brain of your friend, he isn't wasting no effort in purchasing tickets and trying his luck. I think he may have made that promise to himself, to become a millionaire through lottery games. These alibis I've read, some funny, shows that gamblers have different motives of gambling. Although one motive that unites all gamblers to share similar reason is money. Some use them to cover up for their gambling addiction and enjoy the game without getting involved. When they say this we tend to forget about the trouble and laugh or skip the idea of counseling the person.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 15, 2024, 03:31:21 PM
I agree with the sentences I have outlined in bold because they don't want to be known by many people. Otherwise, people would ask them for predictions and more people would ask for them once they found out if the expert's predictions were accurate. This will not make the expert comfortable because most people will invade his privacy so that he cannot do anything else. They would like to hide themselves from other people, and they will pretend that they don't know anything about betting. Experts like this can be called experts because they don't brag about their abilities in front of many people just because they want to get a sensation.

Experts rarely share their strategies to people, as they are busier with figuring out those strategies than making money. A player whose goal is to make money may not be able to invest the time experts utilize in maintaining a strategy. That's why it'll be difficult to get an expert's prediction. They do not believe it can work for somebody else, even if they shared the technique, s/he won't understand or win from it. Gamblers are not encouraged to try people's strategies. It needs to be mastered and accepted by the gambler, that he'll be able to retain his techniques without getting fed up. People who claim this, being an expert, gamble for money, and needs extra sources of income. If a real expert opens up himself to the society, people will keep asking him questions. Definitely some predictions of the expert won't work. Then people can begin to divorce the expert.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Focus on how much you may lose and not only the potential win. on: January 15, 2024, 03:18:54 PM
When we are used to losing, there will be a tendency to experience boredom when gambling and maybe that will make us try to reduce our gambling activities. We will not be passive about gambling and will not be too interested in trying to gamble again because we often experience loss. It is a way to try to reduce their gambling activities because when they get bored of gambling due to continuous losing, they will realize that gambling is not for them, so they have to leave it immediately. Especially if they can see that they have lost a lot of money while gambling, so they have no desire to gamble again for a while. If they can fill their free time by doing other things, they can really leave gambling perhaps forever, especially with the experience of experiencing continuous loss. It will make them not want to experience it again.

A gambler who doesn't win will easily stop gambling compared to those who win while losing at same time. The winning helps to thrill the gambler to participate further in the game. The minimal wins for the player, means he could win the bigger amount. Those different thoughts have unique effects on the gambler. Some would reach there, while others will struggle out of the trouble chasing losses leads them. The greedy players don't get content of what they've won. They try to earn bigger amount, by wagering higher than their constant amount money. Here, the gambler can get upset over his new decision. Which can affect their earnings. Staying contented as a gambler, helps in limiting the losses of the gambler to a minimal stage. Thereby, the gambler easily understands his strategies and control himself.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips to avoid compulsive thoughts related to anxiety on: January 15, 2024, 03:01:27 PM
Anxiety comes when you risk money you can’t afford to lose. Gamblers should adhere to this principle “Do not risk money you cannot afford to lose”, I say this often when someone say they are gambling for fun or for pleasure, they are likely betting money they can afford to lose. But when you cross that line and start playing games with your savings or money meant for your bills, anxiety will surely come because the stakes are too high.

As a gambler you need to learn how to deal with losing because it is a constant thing in gambling no matter how good you are, you can’t win every-time. People who haven’t learnt how to handle losses often go into sensual and keep on gambling until they lose it all

Yes, it is true that those who use large amounts of money in betting will feel anxious because they are worried that their bets will lose and they will have to lose that money which can be said to be their only hoped of being able to double it. A person who can think realistically and know how gambling work should not do that because it is like testing your adrenaline. So never use big money or can't afford to lose so you don't have to worry about your bets, it's okay to bet small amount as long as it is not too risks and you can accept it even if your bet loses.

Of course, most gamblers are certainly always face with defeat because that is an important part of the risky of gambling. If they use gambling for the purpose of having fun then they don't feel anxious because gambling is a game where there are winning and losses and the losses are bigger than the wins so we must be able to responding to gambling wisely.

Few gamblers who still take those risks from time to time gain higher rewards whenever they win. But for the sake of losing, often, sustainable amount of money, the player can get anxiety. The behavior of the gambler deeply depends on the number of losses he's accumulated in all his gambling durations. however, many gamblers can get over this by trying different type of therapy to cure the anxiety. Few others battle with it and get off guard of themselves, that identifying their real self became a task. The differences in people can vary in gamblers. Lack of money, time, decisions etc. Are few difficulties a gambler may face. The victims are numerous, but looking at the number of gamblers who have no problem trying this method out, the number may not be as less as people thought it'll be. The addicts may not outnumber the responsible gamblers.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 15, 2024, 02:38:53 PM
Anyway, it is true that joining sports betting won't spend a lot of time. But we need enough time to analyze the possibility for the matches. No one just places their bets without analysis. If it happens, the chance to win will be very small and we only rely on the luck. So, to increase the chance to win, we usually make certain analysis deeply.
Is there anyone who gambles without doing their proper analysis?
Of course we all need time to properly predict and review our games to place us in a higher chance of winning, we can't just rely on the fact that we knows the teams proper hence we could just place our bet and expect to have winning. It doesn't work like that we must thoroughly go through our games before finally place bet.
Although no research or analysis may work properly in betting, this does not mean that we should rely only on luck. Of course we should thoroughly research the games we have the chance to review. Winning or losing is another matter. If we can research the game properly then there will be more chances of winning. And research must take time. Continuous gambling will make it difficult to make the right decisions at times. A gambler can do reliable research if he has enough time to research. Gambling should not be done solely for the purpose of earning money but should be enjoyed. Those who will be gambling for a long time will surely enjoy gambling.

A whole lot of gamblers don't do their research before gambling. Luck isn't enough for games like football. Although our normal form of analysis based on the performance, rank, players in a team, do serve in determining a winner of game, but it's not the right form of analysis. In football multiple factors affects a team not to win a game. Things like stadium could affect the winning chances of a team. Regardless of their proficiency in football. Also, they're multiple gambling fractions in a football game. One can gamble based on red cards, throw ins, corner kick etc. Those are better fun opportunities of winning in gambling. However, gamblers prefer the goal prediction. It comes with it's special thrill on the gambler. Who imagines about the amount of money his predictions has accumulated.

It's quite a rough day if a gambler loss all his winning.
maybe this is the reason OP shared his winning story of spending something useful and choosing to quit immediately when he won, setting aside a little for another gambling budget.
and now we know the OP intention is so that we can know the right time to stop betting and dont waste the winnings we have earned and prefer to immediately spend something useful, no matter whether it's electronic goods or whatever, definitely spend all the winnings on things a positive compared to spending more on gambling.

the last time I won a bet on gambling I just used it to have fun with the family even though this looks like throwing away money just to have fun but for me it is very beneficial because instead of having to spend it to bet again and only I get the pleasure but if it is used on vacation together family, everyone can feel happy and there are many benefits from all this.

Is it not possible that the little amount set aside for gambling would finish on the long run? And the player needing to take extra money from his business earnings to finance gambling. I've heard of gamblers who sold their properties, probably ones bought with gambling money, for gambling purposes. It's not a situation for many people, but it's safe to say that we are allowed to spend our gambling winnings as we want. No actual means of spending it is the best. Though, it feels better to buy some electronics, but it yields no income for the gambler. He can't stop gambling if the little money he sets asides get exhausted. He'd want to gamble again and again. Thereby still spending more money in gambling, from different income sources.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling life could affect your relatives lifes. on: January 15, 2024, 10:16:12 AM

      -  There are probably many gamblers who somehow, in the few years that they have been used to gambling in various casinos, are still in control of their gambling because there are still many gamblers who are still intact and their families, and they are not broke in life either.

It means that gamblers have overcome things that a gambler should not be able to apply, which is why they are still able to remain responsible gamblers in an industry like this in the crypto business field. And when this happens, it will affect our family greatly because we only play gambling in a limited way.
Actually the game which give more entertainment should be choose by the gamblers in the gambling site.

Gamblers who remain responsible, has no intentions of affecting the lives of their relatives. Which behavior has lifted the stigma some people have on gamblers. Being responsible goes a long way, it not only helps the perspectives on gambling of the people close to him, it contributes to the economic growth of the society. Our society need more of responsible gamblers. The compulsive gamblers buy double troubles for their family. The economy of the home begins to dwindle, and they'll not easily stop or correct the player. It's more of a long-term occurrence. The family of the person need to take action to help the gambler to quit his bad attitude. If the gambler is capable enjoying the games without struggling with whether to chase lose or not, he is free to participate in his games of interest.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 15, 2024, 09:50:14 AM
A gambler must learn discipline to manage their money and also their time when gambling so that they do not lose large amounts of money. There are still many who cannot consider gambling as entertainment and instead want to make money from gambling.

So when I consider gambling as a way to make money, do I qualify to being called as indiscipline gambler? If you say yes, I would disagree with you, because for me, gambling is not only for fun when you can just expect to lose but you can also consider it as a way to make money if you believe you got some skills.

Although this is quite unusual, but do you think gamblers will keep coming back if they don't believe that there are gamblers who are making money in gambling? It's just a simple logic, the problem with most of us here is we thought that winning in gambling is quite impossible, which in reality not, it maybe hard to win but never think it's impossible as you are only killing the challenge.

Winning can be anything to any gambler. Generalizing that when one wins money in gambling that he wins, shouldn't a permanent, complete thought, we can do better. A lot of things are being done in the casino and most of it has nothing to do with winning money. Because on the long run, the money goes back to the house, hence the gambler didn't win any money in the first instance. Hence, gamblers tend to win other things like discipline, earning skills, associating with other gamblers, and meeting business deals on casino tables. What matters is that money circulates in the casino and gamblers know this, hence the lucky player goes home happy with some funds, which attracts him back to gamble again. Periodically winning helps gamblers to visit the casino again, which is part of the game. There will never be gambling if there are no win or loss. If the casino doesn't guarantee any win, why then would people stake money to gamble. That would be an NGO instead of being called a casino.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: January 15, 2024, 09:37:59 AM
The consumed time before a gambler learns all the experiences he utilizes while gambling plays a vital role. And newbies need to follow same routine before they'll be tagged responsible gamblers like the professionals. However, not all professional gambler is seen as addict in the eyes of many people, due the type of experience they've got in gambling. Staying experience and learning new methods of gambling can keep a gambler above the reasonings of people around him. Such that even if they know of his gambling habit wouldn't call him an addict because of his extensive self-control and social skill which doesn't leave any differentiation between him and non-gamblers. Not all professionals are seen like this, but the queen of comps, Jean Scott, got such skills that made her kids and relations love her for gambling.

I see your point and it's true not just a quick knowledge that being pick-up during the first attempt of gambling, but instead, there's a lots of time that being consume to learn the pattern and to make sure that all the emotions will be taken away while playing, newbies needs to understand both the potential and the risk behind.

You can play yes you can whenever you wanted, but learning the right path to avoid addiction and losing lots of money, you needed to follow some hints coming from those experienced gambler who already been on your shoe before they acquire the knowledge that they possess now.

917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 15, 2024, 09:18:29 AM
Players who trust the process of playing games each day as a better method to earn huge profits, can continue practicing what they feel is true. While gamblers who find it confusing and wants to enjoy a few more days off gambling definitely will get a win some day. It's not written anywhere that a player who doesn't gamble everyday wouldn't win.

That's true. Gambling is all about luck and sometimes skills matter too. It depends on what type of game someone is playing. What type of gambling are they doing? It could be Sportsbet. Betting on sports everyday isn't bad especially if you know which team is stronger. You have to be up to date with the team news like which players is available, if any team missing their key players or not. These things affects on the game as well. Sportsbetting does not required a lot of time to place a bet. If you could place one or two bet a day which may take an hour to research about the team and place the bet.

Bet gamblers have other reasons why they gamble every day. Not just once a week. Due to the chase for money, they begin to predict on leagues they know nothing about. Staking money on teams we don't know doesn't guarantee any chances of winning. However, from the look at it, the gambler wants to double his earning due to his bankroll. In the essence of maintaining the bankroll, the gambler can make multiple mistakes trying to win a game. Winning big in sport betting, as you said, staking huge money on 2 games we've done our research on is more profitable. But risky for a gambler that looks upon his bank roll and manages dearly. He'd prefer to earn huge by complicating the slip with unrealistic predictions and stake on it little amount. On the long run, he'd hardly win, and may have lost a whooping amount of little money turned to big money for the casino.

The fun fact is like that. When there are lots of reviews or advertisements or videos about jackpots and big wins from other people, most irrational people will consider and use gambling as a shortcut to getting rich/getting big profits. For rich people or those who have a lot of money, gambling may be fun and it doesn't matter if the money they use decreases because they still have lots of assets to have fun with. This is different from the poor who have been wrong from the start about gambling, so it is normal and this will not just go away and people will continue to appear who think that gambling is a job and a place to make money.
That is a marker strategy and a company makes use of its money to hire influencers to grab attention and make a play of its hype.
It was okay for rich people to fall into this activity but the concern here is for the poor people who usually fall into addiction and compromise their financial stability and sometimes, a reason for loans and crimes.

It was really hard to educate people on how gambling works because they also have different views and they keep insisting that luck will come and that is their money.

Everyone is of concern in this, because anybody could be a victim; rich or poor. Battling with a problem is not cool for the human brain and behavior. It's necessary for gamblers to understand that their status doesn't change the problem. A rich person can get addicted and divorce his productivity at work. Wouldn't it affect his wealth on the long run? it's not certain if all the rich people would be able to struggle out of addiction successfully. Money can do everything, but we all need time to heal. Without time nobody gets better or worse on what they do. Since gamblers need time to adjust and understand gambling, a naive rich player can get himself into trouble during the early stages. Given time he'd begin to get better or worse.

* Stop when you have a big winning, by channeling the money somewhere else so you won't lose it back to gambling.

That is a really important point that I only learned the hard way. Saving a big win and not adding the money directly to our bankroll is important to protect that money for a later stage. When I first started out with gambling I never made a difference between money that I won and money that I started out with that night. And I only ended up losing quite a few of the winnings again, because I could stop when it made sense. Now I am much different and will quickly separate the win from the evening, so that I can enjoy that money the next day. For me it's important to have some good events in gambling and a big win is exactly that. Nothing feels worse than losing all the money we won earlier in evening.

Gamblers spend the won money on what they need. It's crucial that gamblers engage in other activities that makes them happy. However, some gamblers only enjoy spending their money on gambling, including the just won money. In a scenario as this, the player is deemed a compulsive gambler, like a stigma on addicts. Yet not all gamblers who do this, are addicted. Interest differs and a player can maintain his expenses and be aware of his gambling behavior. What is necessary for gamblers to do, is being on the driver's seat of any condition, dispute, troubles that awakes from their gambling activity. Having all these responsibilities, as a gambler, strategizing multiple means of going about any noticed behavioral changes.
