901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 richest Bitcoin Addresses on: October 18, 2017, 05:40:57 PM
I am very confused by this...

It says the richest address has 158BTC in there.  Then right below it, it says that 1718 accounts have 1000 BTC or more.  How does one of them not have more than 158?  I am probably missing something extremely obvious but was very confused by this.
I don't see that in the infographics!! the richest address contains 158262 BTC and it's bitfinex's cold wallet address. probably few other addresses in top lists are exchangers cold wallet!
902  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex on: October 18, 2017, 05:19:45 PM
What is Bittrex and bitcoin gold?

Bittrex is a trading site
Bitcoin gold is what will be created after fork

I thought most exchanges asked for Id
Yes, they do. but some have certain withdrawal limits for non-verified accounts(like say 2 BTC a day), i'm not sure but i think what bittrex is doing here is not allowing any withdrawals until you're fully verified(blocked accounts).

it's time to move to another exchanger, what do you guys think of hitbtc and binance? are they good?
903  Economy / Speculation / Re: I do not have the guts to buy bitcoins now. on: October 18, 2017, 04:55:57 PM
I do not even have the courage to buy Bitcoin. Although I believe Bitcoin a lot. Many of my friends have made a lot of money by investing in Bitcoin. So I am thinking that I will buy Bitcoin in the future. As Bitcoin too Rising to 5000+ USD   Grin

WHAT DO YOU THINK ?  Roll Eyes
What year will you buy in then? in future bitcoin value won't be same as it is today, it'll be worth even more. in two years the price of bitcoins might go $10k+. you'll be then regretting not buying when price was $5k, buy and hold like many of us do. buy only small bits(keep on buying like that lol), if you can't afford whole bitcoin. Wink
904  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slots site with the best graphics? on: October 18, 2017, 03:14:08 PM
We have over 80 slots games all with high end graphics and animation provided by two of the leading slot providers, Booming and Endorphina.

You can try for free at https://betking.io

Nice. This is the one Im looking for. Im new in gambling and planning to try a lot just to find what will sooth my tastes.
And it's a good thing that we can tryi it for free. I just hope its probably fair because I heard a lot of negative feedbacks about slots in other gambling sites. Anyways, Thanks for your post I will try this one now.
Lol betking don't have slots yet(dice only for now), it was on the old betking(goliathhh bumped an old thread). probably in few months there will slots and many other games on betking.
905  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 18, 2017, 03:07:50 PM
Yes lottery winners have email notice (someone posted a screen shot of it somewhere), but he may have used a junk email just to create an account and confirm it. I hope he didn't though and that he/she noticed (s)he won the big prize.

How can they not notice it, if they login to their account and the balance shows 2 BTC? I would surely notice if that amount was added to my account balance. I am only worried for people who received free lottery tickets from referrals and who stopped using their accounts.

I think the site owner will go the extra mile to inform these users, if they see no activity on the account, but lately some users leave bitcoins on the site for the 4% interest, so inactivity might not trigger an investigation from the owner. ^hmmmm^

When I log in to freebitco.in from my phone (with an app, not with phone browser), I don't see my account balance because there's no space to display it like it's displayed on a computer screen. I have to go to the menu list to see the balance. If I only play free roll, I don't see it and won't notice a deposit.
And it's all automatic I think, so site owner won't check if the account is active or not, unless he's asked to.
What's the difference between the 3rd party freebitcoin app and mobile version of it? they're basically the same except you see ads on the 3rd party app, just ditch that app and use mobile version of freebitcoin. it's not safe as Bitinity said, the app owner could steal your login details!
906  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: October 18, 2017, 02:46:52 PM
When will safedice enable segwit address?

Hi guys
Any tips on getting Seuntjie bot working on SafeDICE?

Cheers Jon  Cool
seuntjie will probably get that fixed(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=307425.msg23122776#msg23122776).
907  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange Bittrex began to block accounts!!! on: October 17, 2017, 04:51:16 PM
I don't have a balance at bittrex anymore, i'm fine with limits and all. but if they insists on asking id proof to use their service, i'm gonna have to say goodbye to them. we need a good dex and volume to completely abandon these exchanges!
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there "safe" scripts for playing with 100 sat basebet? on: October 17, 2017, 02:57:35 PM
I'm playing with dicebot and i like it pretty much. The only disadvantage is that most of the gamblingsites have delays for smaller bets but when i want to play with a basebet of at least 100 sat then i have the problem that none of my scripts is safe anymore. does anybody have a recommendation for a script-source where i can find "safe" scipts with basebet 100 sat?
--i know that no script can ever be 100% safe but there are some that alsready come close to this..
I don't know about any "safe" scripts. if you want to find dicebot scripts search it here on forum(or type this on google "dicebot scripts site:bitcointalk.org"), you'll find many people claiming their script works but in fact it doesn't. also try here (https://bot.seuntjie.com/Scripts.aspx).
909  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Bitcoin Casino | Plinko, Mines, Blackjack, Roulette + 8 more 👽 on: October 17, 2017, 02:10:26 PM
Ive heard through some very reliable sources in the industry that Stake is close to closing its doors. Just a warning if you have any funds in Stake to withdraw them immediately or risk them taking your bitcoin.

Lol they've just begun, why would they close it after working on it for many months? your sources are wrong, you better avoid them. stake is here to stay!
910  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCHEAT.COM IS ONLY A HOAX? on: October 17, 2017, 01:18:53 PM
Since they have full control on the spins and if I'm not mistaken there is no such thing as "provably fair" anywhere like we're used to find in all modern most famous dice/gambling sites nowdays, they could possibily let you reach a balance of 0.0299'9999 BTC and then magically shutdown your wins completely so you'll never reach the minimum withdrawal amount.

Still, this site seems too much work for a short term scam.

I got an idea! Refer me as much as we can so I can do many spins per day and test this theory  Tongue Tongue Tongue

http://btcheat.com/?i=113352
Or we could just move on lol. it's obliviously a scam, even if you reach the minimum withdrawal amount and withdraw they'll simply won't process it. why waste time on this?
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold my Bitcoin today on: October 16, 2017, 06:41:05 PM
I sold my bitcoin today. I think the price jumped too much too fast. My opinion is that it will drop below 5,000 soon and in that case I will buy back again because i expect bitcoin to increase significantly in the long term.
What do you think??
Did you sell all your bitcoin holdings or only few %. if you sold 100% then you made a mistake, never sell 100%. i've only sold like 5% of my bitcoins. i will buy it again if price ever moves down to $4k or lower . Roll Eyes
912  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Research Shows Half a Billion People Are Mining Cryptocurrencies Without Knowing on: October 16, 2017, 04:10:54 PM
This is something that is not only ethical but I see as invasion of privacy but there is nothing anyone can do about it because of this site are essential to be visited on a daily basis. I think I also need to appreciate frebitco.in because its from there I first heard about something like this and for the fact that they are making it open to people, makes it worth commending all the same time. I wish this can be corrected and people are even been compensated for the use of their resources.

You meant unethical, right?  Cheesy

I think this issue is easy to solve though. One website that uses your computer's power to mine is said to be PirateBay. Just download what you need then close that website's tab. I think that should be easy enough. Or probably install a sort of noScript browser extension.
There are other plugins/extensions that one can install to block coinhive miner. i have installed this one (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/no-coin/gojamcfopckidlocpkbelmpjcgmbgjcl).

What?Huh  They should inform us or at least ask for permission.  They got all the profit at the expense of our CPUs.  Criminals in disguise.

QUOTE
We found 220 sites that launch mining when a user opens their main page, with an aggregated audience of 500 million people. These people live all over the world; there are sites with users from the USA, China, South American and European countries, Russia, India, Iran… and the list goes on.

The ethical way for a website to earn money by mining through its audience’s computers is to ask the audience for permission first, and to allow them the possibility to opt out. Actually, such a practice could make mining even more ethical than ads. After all, nobody asks us if we would like to see ads on a website.

is this what you called cloud mining? how?
It's called browser mining lol.
913  Economy / Gambling / Re: KINGDICE.COM - Bitcoin Dice & Invest in bankroll on: October 16, 2017, 02:47:57 PM
I don't think the owner of KingDice will scam any user on withdrawal, because wetsuit is also the admin of freebitco.in, it remains as a very popular and trusted faucet for many years, and there are a lot of users on this forum storing their bitcoins on freebitco.in to collect the daily interest too.

Yes, he is paying everyone for quite long time in faucet site and can trust this admin for that part. I too got an account over there and earlier used to withdraw money when my referrals were active and claim the money was high. He one of the trusted person on this forum.

That is true and even he giving out more than 3 btc for prize each week. So how can he scam people just from small amount? No one ever had any problem with wetsuit site from long time ago until this day. Everything has been so smooth till now. He is one of the trusted person in the forum without any green trust on his trust tab Grin
I'm not sure what 3 BTC prize you're talking about? i can't seem to find anything about it on kingdice or freebitcoin. can you give more information please!
914  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCHEAT.COM IS ONLY A HOAX? on: October 16, 2017, 08:10:46 AM
Btcheat.com is a legit or only hoax? Please give some clarify becuase i feel that this is like a phising site   Undecided

probably a scam. How did they generate profit?
Yep, it's a scam site. 3 spins every 3 hours, this way no one will be able to reach the minimum withdrawal amount. site will make money off ads i guess, users who visit this site won't get anything, so stop wasting your time on this!
915  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - faucet - 25% rakeback. BTC, ETH, LTC DICE on: October 16, 2017, 07:09:53 AM

916  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 ICO ANNOUNCE 15 AUG 2017! JOIN THE TRANSFORMATION! 🎰🎰🎰 on: October 16, 2017, 06:12:47 AM
Will BitDice credit investors with Bitcoin Gold after the airdrop later this month?!
Why should they? If you invested the money in the ICO you agreed to use your bitcoin to buy the BitDice tokens, that money is no longer yours, if you wanted to receive bitcoin gold or any other free coins coming from a hard fork then you should have held your bitcoin and then use your bitcoin to buy tokens on the open market from other investors.
A clarification from alex would be nice, i want to know(and many others probably) his plan for upcoming fork.
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taking Courses to learn about Bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 02:55:33 PM
Has anyone taken a course online on sites like Udemy to learn about bitcoin? I just received a coupon to enroll in a bitcoin course for free. Would it be worth the time?
If anyone has any experience, do share.
Well, if you don't know anything about bitcoin then you should take that bitcoin course and if there's anything interesting that you found in that course do share it, you could also encourage your friends or family to take bitcoin course. Wink
bitcoin to me is/was pretty simple, i learned more about bitcoin by searching on google, reading up here etc..
918  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 15, 2017, 01:35:00 PM
How many tickets bro?

Wish you all the best
As much as you can get the ticket, it's hard to win on lottery you should have 1000% of luck for this game  Wink

being it a lottery, it is indeed necessary to get all the luck one can get. But it sure pays off as the top prize is a huge sum. Good Luck to all participants.

Round 120 someone got very lucky and won first price with only 10 tickets. And 4th place too with only 22 tickets.
Wish I will get lucky too now that I accidentally bought lottery ticket bonus when I meant to buy reward point bonus Grin

Wow, 2 BTC win with just 10 tickets. whoever won it is extremely lucky, i got myself some tickets lol. who knows i might get lucky. Roll Eyes  #1 prize is really big $11k!
919  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcino.io - New bitcoin dice site - Fastest & most convenient dice site on: October 15, 2017, 11:42:19 AM
Looks like the faucet is broken on your site, on claiming page it says i can claim every 2 minute as long as my balance is 0, but i'm able to claim without any time limit as long as my balance was 0. better fix it before it's abused. anyways had a little bit of fun playing. Smiley
