901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first gas station to accept Bitcoin in my region on: June 06, 2022, 10:01:13 PM
I hope the government don't wake up anytime to go against it , those people act funny sometimes because they have always seen bitcoin as a threat to them. Some countries are adopting bitcoin , maybe your country may also adopt bitcoin one day since bitcoin is not totally ban there
902  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto currency Awareness Campaign on: June 06, 2022, 09:45:46 PM
To me cryptocurrency is getting recognition whether it is been campaign by people or not , cryptocurrency will always grow. Those who have  make research about cryptocurrency will come for it. In some countries where crytocurrency is been banned,  most citizens buy cryptocurrency through p2p to invest.
903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do to speed up Bitcoin mass adoption? on: June 06, 2022, 09:43:33 PM
One of the things to be done to speed up the adoption of bitcoin is to accept bitcoin as payment and also to make payment with bitcoin. But if the government should adopt bitcoin as a currency it will speed the adoption of bitcoin.the role which the government will play will make it faster than individuals.
904  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Power Or Money ? on: June 06, 2022, 05:28:03 PM
When there is money you control power.
I prefer to have money ,power will come afterwards ,power comes along side with there is money.
Money controls the world. People will serve you when they can get money from you while people will get tired of you when you command them without making constant money from you.
Money is the source of power, if you read the history of powerful men they have money in one way that people respect them and give attention to them when they speaks. It is impossible for some one to have power and not having money. Money gives birth to power,  without money power is useless.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet on: June 06, 2022, 04:49:21 PM
It is better never to gamble than to borrow money to play gambe because it is still a waste even if one wins the game, the money made from the bet will be used to settle the loan borrowed.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: âšœUEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 06, 2022, 04:06:02 PM
WTF? He cannot press (LFC playing style is all around geigenpress) and he's at the end of his carreer anyway. If anywhere else is more likely for him to get transferred to it's at Sporting.

Currently Ronaldo is still able to play in the EPL, but not as good as when he was younger. Ronaldo moving to Liverpool I think will just be a waste of money. I think Mane will be better than Ronaldo for a long term investment. But I heard Sane is going too.
Ronaldo may not be long in the EPL. Maybe he will go to a league that is below the EPL level. Maybe you're right, or maybe he'll go to MLS. Many EPL legends ended their careers there.
Yes Ronaldo won't stay long in the English because he will retire soon. Even if Ronaldo is a good player Liverpool would not want to buy advance player like Ronaldo for next season.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 06, 2022, 03:30:04 PM
Xavi left a good impression last season. He has achieved the maximum possible, higher than a 2nd place was not conceivable. It is actually a miracle that he came in 2nd, because when Koeman was at the helm it had become a big mess, we can compete. Maybe there will be some purchases in the summer to see an even better Barcelona next season. They have a good chance of getting the title.

Xavi's present in Barcelona is a big miracle to the team, if it was Koeman who still remain to be Barcelona coach the would have be one of the weakest team in the laliga league. I trust xavi what he will do for Barcelona next season.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 06, 2022, 03:14:34 PM
There were Argentina-Estonia match at last night. Estonia were defeated so badly by Messi. Messi showed the whole world that he is the Goat. He is a really alien. Messi scored 5 at last night. He gave an spetacular performance. We are so lucky to have watched him.
One man is the strength of Argentina which is Messi, if Argentina meet a strong opponent,  I don't think it will be possible for Messi to save Argentina. Messi  performance was so interesting last night for scoring 5 goals.

A gamble by Juve for sure - let's see where it takes them. Not such a big contract considering he's free - which shows there wasn't really a lot of interest from elsewhere.
I see it as a loss for United to leave Pogba on a free transfer. United spent quite a bit of money when they signed Pogba. and now returning it to Juventus for free.
I believe that previously there were negotiations that were still in United's favor with Pogba's transfer to Juventus.
Manchester United still needs to retain player like Pogba,  if Manchester United loses player like Pogba it won't be good for next season. Pogba is the kind of player Manchester United needs to strengthen the team.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 06, 2022, 02:07:14 PM
Liverpool may perform better next season the problem with Liverpool is that the club don't strikers that will make goal scores and if the can sign players like Ronaldo to make the goal difference.
Ronaldo would have been the best striker to be sign in for Liverpool,  but am still hearing that Ronaldo will still play for Manchester United next season,  he will play for Manchester United till he gets retired. So it is no possible for Ronaldo to be in Liverpool next season.
911  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Education as the bed rock of a country on: June 06, 2022, 01:52:08 PM
Education is not what it used to be before,  the government are not making any investment in schools and after school it difficult for graduates to secure job . In some countries students feels getting only a secondary education is enough, then learning a skill to add to it will be better.  They have this mentality because the government has failed to make it what it used to be.
912  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is lying now part of human nature? on: June 06, 2022, 01:44:16 PM
Home training can also be why people develop lying as an habit,  a child who is coming up and have habit of lying. If the parents keeps rebuking that child from such habit from small the child will quickly drop the habit. But where no parental control to stop the child from lying, the child will see lying as a life style that is not bad.
913  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The effect of drugs abuse on youths on: June 06, 2022, 01:20:07 PM
Nearly 60% of youths are prone to drug abuse and are been influenced by peers group ,who make them indulge in this act ,this makes the youth have a higher ratio of drug addiction ,this is why they dominate a higher population at the correctional centers facilities, mental homes facilities, prison facilities due to drug influence reaction.
There have been increase in the cases of rape ,robbery ,homocides, depression, suicide, gang fight and this cases have shown a large number of youth engagement in this crimes.
Increase in domestic abuse ,marriages are caused by this drugs influence and anger management problem faced by many of this youths ,both male and female gender.

What can the government, communities and parents do to cure this situation .

The government has done something good by placing a ban on hard drugs yet people still import those harmful drugs to different countries, so I think the only way for the government to tackle the issue of drug abuse is to set death penalty for anyone caught producing, selling or taking hard drugs I think this will go a long way to stop the issue of drug abuse.

Parents can also help in the stop of drug abuse by speaking out and reporting to the government should dey find their children taking hard drugs.

Drug abuse is a serious offence that can lead one to jail or any serious punishment,  but I don't think drug abuse should be what will warrant death to offendera. Their are punishment that can be better than wasting people life. Instead of killing offenders it is better to jail offenders for 5=10 years, this will make them to stay away from drugs for some years, than terminating peoples life .
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 05, 2022, 01:44:23 PM
Arsenal must be very frustrated to lose their Champions League chance by their poor performance on the final weeks of the season. Tottenham also deserved to qualify for it of course but Arsenal were doing a better job for them for some time actually. However they couldn't maintain this form on the most critical weeks. They really need to strengthen the lineup now to play bigger next season. They have a potential and they can bring it out by signing a good centre-forward.
It very surprising that Tottenham did better than arsenal last season. Arsenal performance was too bad in the beginning of the season that fans were disappointed with the result of their game. But atleast it is still good to see arsenal not ending with a poor position.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup Groups. on: June 05, 2022, 07:40:24 AM

While it's too early to rate the coach impact on the team still we don't have to underate how destructive this loses can be. What surprises me is why isn't he using our regulars. I don't get why the super eagle couldn't equalized with over 87th minutes of regular playing time and some extra. This must have been one boring match to watch.
Two losses in a row is not good for the reputation and international ranking of Nigeria. What makes this losses more painful is that we are not losing to a world-class or high ranking sides. The coach would have learnt some few lessons from this two matches. Nigerians now want to see to lessons or technical experience applied in our next match. At least we expect to see some players he had identified in these two friendlies joining our first team players to give the team the needed boast. Nigerian football supporters have suffered many heartbreaks these past months and the only cure for it is goals and wins.

I wouldn't use this two losses to judge the Nigerian team if they will still remain like this . The Super Eagles haven't be consistent for a longtime and now they have a new coach the performance of the players can't just change simultaneously,  it will change gradually let's give them sometime to see if the new coach can do something great.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 30, 2022, 10:00:48 PM
2022 premiere league ended on a remarkable note with Manchester City taking the trophy and living Liverpool taking the FA cup and real Madrid carrying the champion league in a spectacular manner.

Why bring up Madrid in here ? Manchester City  needed  that win.
Liverpool  did good they made the premier league lively.
Without them Manchester City would have won the league  a long time already.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 30, 2022, 09:54:46 PM
According to report,  Chelsea are probably intention of signing Ousemane Dembele. Although Liverpool are also interested in the Frenchman, he is really in a tight position because he is yet to renew his contract with Barcelona.
I think Dembele will prefer to stay if he has the chance to extend his contract in Barcelona. But if he must leave Barcelona and choose these two EPL teams, I assume he prefers Liverpool to Chelsea. Liverpool is a stronger club and has a better reputation lately. They finished as a runner-up in EPL and became the finalist in the UCL competition. Chelsea only finished in 3rd place in EPL and can't do much in international competition. They also have an internal problem after the war of Russia vs Ukraine. For the safest option, Dembele should go to Liverpool.

Swirling rumours about the move of neymar to Chelsea.
This won't be finalised,  as they can't afford to, asides that neymar  had issues with Thomas Tuchel at Psg.
They should focus on getting new defenders.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 30, 2022, 09:46:54 PM
I don't agree with you, Barcelona without messi is like a small team.

Messi was an excellent player, perhaps the best in history. But Barcelona is not a small team without Messi, as you said. If they had had a particularly healthy season, everything would have been very different. You can't even imagine how dangerous they would be, if Pedri and Fati play in every match. With new transfers in the new season, Barcelona will re-establish the squad that will play for the championship. Now the Messi era is over, it has to be accepted. There's a new roster plan and there's no reason it shouldn't be successful.
to me even if Messi is not in Barcelona the team is playing well,  Barcelona was able to meet up with second position in the laliga stand. Messi no more in Barcelona does not make Barcelona an average team or weak team.
919  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Americans will burn in hell for eternity on: May 30, 2022, 05:23:37 PM
I don't think all Americans will go to hell, if at all America as a nation has committed anything bad. If their is any consequences it will only reach the people that are in powers. Their are innocent Americans who know nothing concerning anything that has be going on. The hell is for few Americans and not all.
920  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Americans, do you regret voting for Biden? on: May 30, 2022, 05:13:38 PM
Their is nothing to regret about, sometimes we vote people into power thinking that they can perform well. If Biden is not performing well as the president of America,  this will make Americans to be serious about who to choose as their next leader who can perform well in their next election.
