Tom Lee Predicts Bitcoin To Reach $91,000 by March 2020, Based On Performances After Past Dips

Fundstrat’s Tom Lee has forecasted that Bitcoin’s price will reach $91,000 by March 2020, basing his prediction on a chart that shows Bitcoin’s (BTC) performances after past market dips, Forbes reported March 17.

Lee and Fundstrat used an average of the percentage gained in price after each dip to arrive at the 2020 figure.

902  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC break below the former low at $6,000 on: March 18, 2018, 04:27:06 PM
Probably not, it can only hit $6000s again and it seems it is going to do it. There is really no buy pressure, no one wants to buy bitcoin now  Cheesy
you are wrong, exactly with this situation there will be many investors who buy, why? because they know, that this situation will provide benefits in the future. as I said in the previous thread, that the price will soon reach its peak. we all also know that the market will soon improve its performance. Every cloud has a silver lining!

Right. Its known that people do buy when the coin value is low. Obviously people are buying. Mt.Gox is selling out dozens of bitcoin and this is the reason behind this big drop. But you need to look at the other side as well. When they do sell, its bought on the other side. And this is the reason we could see a balance in price. I wish Mt.Gox should go out of bitcoins. Just see the trick here. When all are sold, the situation would be buy at the low price. The price would be certainly low. They would buy again for price and grow their fund. A good business trick. Need to learn from this.
903  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's profit on: March 18, 2018, 03:20:00 PM
I heard people said that Bitcoin's profit is higher than profit of drug dealer, weapon dealers or profit of real property or any kind of stocks. Is that real ?

Yes, but it depends on the value of bitcoin. If the bitcoin value goes to the moon, obviously the revenue is too high than revenue received from other business source like stock markets, share markets, real estate, gold and etc. It depends on the buyer and the time he/she buys. If bitcoin is purchased when the value is high and value has bit increased when he sells, the revenue is going to be less, wise versa, if bitcoin is purchased when value is low and sells when its too high, the revenue is going to be high. But in crypto, the profit is high and the investment and the work for it is low compared to other business.

905  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: why bitcoin illegal in asia? on: March 17, 2018, 01:38:45 PM
bitcoin illegal  some asia country bt why?can you give me some reason about this?? thanks

I am living in an Asian country. Here either its not illegal or illegal. Government has not yet proclaimed anything. But the government is aware of its existence in their country. They have even planned to introduce its own new crypto coin. We have another business man planning to launch its own crypto currency forming a team under his son. Hope bitcoin is adapted very soon and announced as legal.
906  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why Banks are attacking Bitcoin ? on: March 13, 2018, 11:52:52 PM
At the end its business. Fiats are the competitors of crypto currencies. If the government allows crypto currencies occupy the market, fiats will lose its value, When it loses value the economy of the country will be at toss. Hence the government is not allowing bitcoin or any other currencies into its country. Though they welcome bitcoin by creating their own crypto currencies, they do not accept bitcoin. This is the reason banks do not appreciate bitcoin to enter into the market.
907  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is recovering or what if not on: March 13, 2018, 11:41:14 PM
Do you think BTC price can keep it uprising? I was really kind of worried watching the price slowly starts rising then now it goes down again. What will or would be the result if it stays that way more price down movement than price hike movement? I wish Bitcoin will recover soon.  Cry

Correction would get back to normal very soon. Let’s hope for it.  After every correction, there is  a big hike if you look at previous data. Current correction is lasting for more than two months. Hope by end of March, Bitcoin value remains back to $10K and after the end of financial year (April), it starts resuming back and go up to even more reaching minimum $15K by June end. This year is going to be the year fo bitcoin as well as oth crypto currencies.

909  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT SYSTEM PROBLEM on: March 13, 2018, 11:06:17 PM
Well, this is very Natural Thread to me i do consider it 50/50 5o% for Complain and 50% for appreciation.
Yes, it is so very Difficult to Receive merits from other merit sources, especially if you have nothing to contribute to the forum or the post you make is not interesting, specifically not constructive and Quality, if OP would be going to search the whole Forum members, maybe you will know "NULLIUS" The Smart Guy Which Deserves a Lot of Smerits.
We need to make a thing that is useful and quality posts too, without it then we will not get anything. While there are currently some people who are easy to get merit I am quite unsure that they are fully contributed. But in conclusion I think merit point has made the forum better. There are significant improvements in terms of quality, but as you can say that many people feel disadvantaged, they are people who can not contribute but want things like get merit. It is an interesting thing to always discuss, yes they are not trying to improve what they do by contributing to this forum.

Though the merit system is  a problematic one for you, it has developed the entire forum. Many guys have improved their quality posts. The number of spam posts have been reduced. People are driving to contribute quality posts to get merits though they don't expect. Smerits do get over. The smerit is not enough for ranks until Sr.Member. Once it gets over, we need to have patience to get the smerits. This would bring name and fame to your account. Your reputation would seriously grow in the forum.
910  Economy / Speculation / Re: Shower thought. Would this start "killing" the banks? on: March 13, 2018, 10:56:28 PM
What if every person loaned money from a bank or maxed out their credit cards to buy Bitcoin and deliberately not pay out those debts. Would that start "killing" the banks or, at all events, dent their dominance?

Sorry if this might be a shit topic. But go ahead, discuss. Haha.

If you refer the data 25% of account holders who bought loan from a bank has not paid back. This has become a normal attitude towards repaying back to the bank. This would seriously lead the bank to lose their business as well. We could observe, my government authority has informed that few banks are running out of loss and the account holders who have their money saved as fixed deposit should contribute service charge and a part of amount to the bank to recover back. Banks are the first competitors of crypto currency.
911  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as your main income? on: March 13, 2018, 10:46:58 PM
Bitcoin is a currency. Bitcoin is a solution to many problems. Bitcoin is bringing questions and new problems to this world.
Some people find this as a ride to boost your income, not specifically Bitcoin but also the whole crypto market.
I think it's a great thing! But what are you actually looking for? Bitcoin itself (the currency) might not be your solution.
If you want to "conquer" the world, you can't do it with Bitcoin. Like you can't conquer the world with the dollar itself.
You need to focus the technology. The blockchain along with it, bringing a new economy generation with freedom and decentralization.
It's something that should be written a new bible about in my opinion. Before you learn Bitcoin, learn economy. Once you master this skill, own Bitcoin as one of your cards.

I would like to hear some of your opinions and hear some smart words because I believe people think investing Bitcoin will make their life done financially but I honestly think it's not true.

For the beginners yes. Its its too much when they start earning more bitcoin. But when they keep earning and cross the threshold they set, it would be become really a dull routine activity. Bitcoin has enhanced many lives. I can lively see my friends and me earning and satisfying out needs. The lifestyle has changed to many here. The way we look at the market has developed. We started investing in different crypto currencies as we know where crypto is going towards. I would love to have bitcoin as my main income.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [2018-03-13] - Monero Eyes $200 Reversal Target After Hard Fork Delay on: March 13, 2018, 09:12:27 PM

https://www.coindesk.com/monero-eyes-200-reversal-target-hard-fork-delay/

The privacy-focused cryptocurrency monero (XMR) has been dumping the last few days on the news developers have postponed a highly anticipated hard fork by six weeks.

As of writing, the world's 11th largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization is trading at $258 - down 10 percent in the last 24 hours, according to data source CoinMarketCap.

A week ago, XMR was solidly bid around $380, reporting 90 percent gains over lows seen in February as investors seemingly bought with an intention of making free money via the "moneroV" hard fork, originally scheduled for March 15. However, on March 9 the developers announced a delay as requested by users, trading platforms and large mining pools.

What do you think on it. Will postponing hard fork help Monero grow its value?
913  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: March 13, 2018, 08:13:06 PM

I can see that soon almost exchanges and even ICO programs will be requiring us to do the KYC procedures where we are required to pass copies of our legal documents before we are granted entrance or the use of the services or programs we are interested with. This can be as common as having a password or 2FA.

Now, personally I have no big problem with it though just like anybody else am also concerned that my personal information can be divulged to anybody or a group that might use it for any illegal purpose. This is one risk we are facing once we are actively living in the online world. Evil people who can be thousands of miles away can now be just one click away.

What are your apprehensions about the KYC procedures that will soon be as popular as noodles?

Feel need to be more careful when handlong with KYC. Hear news on misuse of documents given. Though 50 percent of ICOs are legit, other 50 percent of ICOs seem to be scams. Hence need to study thier project, road maps, advisors, invesment amount, the promotion offered at the market and etc have to be analysed before handing over the documents to the ICOs. This would certainly help  be secured with scam ICOs.
914  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do i have to pay tax on bitcoins ? on: March 13, 2018, 07:04:19 PM
I would be happy to pay the tax to my government if they accept bitcoin. Its not yet announced either as legal or illegal. It seems talk is going on creating its own crypto currency along with other business man creating his own crypto currency forming a team under his own son and working on it. I wish the government should take a quick decision to adapt bitcoin to growth its economy as well provide employment to its citizens.

If your government permits then yes it's necessary to pay tax on bitcoin.  Good move.  It's at last the government who decides upon its citizens' growth. And yes they know when and where to get things done.  So better pay the tax for what's earned.  This would enrich the country as well as the citizens.
915  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-03-12] - Bitcoin Cash Price Enters Recovery Mode After 4-Week Low on: March 12, 2018, 07:26:09 PM

916  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-12] Former Indian Economic Official Says Bitcoin Hard to Regulate on: March 12, 2018, 06:55:57 PM
India’s former Secretary of Economic Affairs, Shaktikanta Das, says Bitcoin would be too difficult to regulate. Instead, to prevent the host of oft-mentioned potential problems such as terrorist financing and money laundering, Bitcoin should simply be banned, says Das. These comments come at a time when India is grappling with the challenges of regulating a decentralized, pseudonymous, virtual currency.

The full article: https://cryptocomes.com/former-indian-economic-official-says-bitcoin-hard-regulate-should-just-ban-entirely

It is top 1st corrupted country in the world as BBC network reported last month. There are many corrupted politicians in your country. They cannot do nothing with the fiat cash regulations itself.
If you are from India you can invest all your fund on bitcoin and cash out once the bitcoin bumps back to 20k usd or more than that.
Nothing cannot done the Government. I see many Indians in the richest people list but your country still in the developing countries list.

At times few authorities do not even understand what is meant by crypto currencies. Just question the guy who said "its difficult to regulate". He even may not know what is "bitcoin" and how it works. None is open to receive new things. When countries do accept and concentrate on growing their countries wealth and its citizen's growth, why can't Indian government accept it when people say there would be growth certainly when adapted. Everything is corrupted. Never let any good things happen in the country. Then what good would happen? It has graded itself to the ground in terms of economy. Hope the next government takes their responsibility seriously and work on its growth adapting new tech and crypto currencies.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did you agree that for crypto to continue growing we need a large huge volume?? on: March 12, 2018, 04:10:38 PM
Did you agree that In order for cryptocurrencies to start growing again, institutional money need to enter the market making the prices soar - That may will cause an  increase in volume, making the big players re-enter the market followed by the new wave of adopters. Wink

Support is indeed needed. More investors have to pitch in.  Number of countries should increase to adapt crypto currencies. There should be more demand. A good news is,  every year number of people becoming aware of crypto coins is increasing and number of ICOs too.  Hope this ratio doubles up and increases the coins' values.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would we know which cryptocurrency would be Scam? on: March 12, 2018, 03:59:26 PM
It is very difficult to describe how to know which cryptocurrency would be scam. You cannot predict the scam in cryptocurrency. One thing is only possible the performance of cryptocurrency and its interaction communications with investors and links can be roots to identify the scam otherwise it is no easy to find scam.

Though it's hard to predict,  you can still analyze the ICO details to know the truth behind.  We have few factors to look at.  Get into the white paper and read the details. Know the project they have undertaken. This would make you bit clear.  Then check out the team members' profiles. This another strong clue. Then know the amount they invested on projects, marketing and other stuffs.  Look for proofs they hold on the above then invest in them. This would be a way to find the correct ICO.
919  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will people pay taxes for bitcoin ? on: March 12, 2018, 03:44:42 PM
I think everyone will willing to pay taxes for Bitcoin income if they have to. But this case will only happen when Bitcoin legalized as a local currency and can be use to buy or purchase anything in their country. For now, there are only few countries is tesing to legalize Bitcoin in their country as a local currency, people can't use Bitcoin to pay for everything but they still can use it like a local currency in some fields. Maybe in the future when Bitcoin leglized worldwide, everyone will have to pay taxes for Bitcoin income and I'm also agree to pay taxes for it Smiley

Unless and until if the respective country accepts bitcoin, yes we can pay tax. But still should it be done as bitcoin is earned from another source where the government doesn't have to do anything from their side?  I wish to pay tax to the crypto community and it's development rather than to the government. I don't know how you guys would take it. But I feel the gratitude paid as tax should reach the concern who are behind it.
920  Other / Meta / Re: JUST MY SUGGESTION on: March 12, 2018, 02:51:28 PM
my suggestion to dev forum for making this system ... every member MIN RANK MEMBER  have sMerit every day ,

so everyday sMerit can be generate

Code:
Legendary: 10sMerit perday
Hero: 5merit perday
Full Member: 2 meri per day
member: 1 smerit per day

Dude let's join hands and move forward with the merit implementation already in place. Getting number of merits for posts that are not worth will not serve the forum. Let's change the way we contribute to the forum. Take time and provide quality posts. Merit will be given. Though it takes time,  it's worth waiting.
