Who fancies Everton to win vs City away at 7?  I think City won’t be risking injury on its key players since they are going to be playing what could be the most important match of the club’s recent history next weekend.

On the other hand, Everton finishing above the Spurs in the league could mean quite something for Ancelotti and his boys.
It is a useless match for City, no need to waste efforts and risk injuries on it, better to give more time to the other players. Everton needs more those 3 points imo. However, odds are around @1.4 City and @7.2 Everton. Wonder know if anyone would play Everton or play @2.8 Everton or draw Tongue
Certainly not me since I am afraid City could win even its second team.

However, City don't really need these points because it's very difficult to catch up to their points right now so there's really nothing to sacrifice.  It is enough to play defensively so that maintaining the player's stamina will be much better than having to suffer player injuries.  Everton do have hopes of winning but that doesn't mean it's easy to achieve.  They are up against the first ranked player in this league.  It takes a good strategy to break through their defenses.
902  Economy / Economics / Re: Assault of Wall Street against crypto, fault put on the Chinese. Opinion. on: May 22, 2021, 01:46:18 PM
Actually it is not that complicated, the recent market conditions are the side effects of the bubble that has occurred in the past 1.5 years.  If you pull it back, the Crypto market cap has reached 2.45 T USD.  Naturally, there is a recovery in a market that has already set record highs.  Just as the owner of ETH said that crypto is currently experiencing a bubble and it is only natural that there is a price correction.  Even his fortunes fell after ETH went into freefall.
903  Economy / Economics / Re: A bubble is when price is not justified on: May 21, 2021, 01:21:03 PM
If we talk about bubble, then this is inseparable from Bitcoin and other alternative coins. All the economists who do not accept crypto think that this is only gambling because the risk of the bubble is very high and it does not have any underlying assets. I agree with you but it cannot be denied that crypto is an asset with a very high risk, people can create trends easily and destroy them in one word. This is what is happening now if we see EM behavior as whales openly. He announced that he had bought 1.5B USD on BTC so the market took it seriously and followed his lead until BTC almost touched the price of 1 B IDR, my country's exchange rate. After the bubble occurred, he sold it and slammed the price. This can be said to be an example of a real bubble recently.

the competition still happens until the last week, this is the premier league.

And, Good to see Liverpool on the 4th. in the next week the chance still happens. we will see which team will be in 5th position, Chelsea, Liverpool or Leicester. with creating many goals Leicester can defeat Liverpool's position, but I think Tottenham will make it hard.

- Leicester vs Tottenham
- Liverpool vs crystal
- Aston vs Chelsea.

Bet, which team in the 5th position?. Chelsea.

The struggle for position is very competitive, Chelsea Liverpool and Leicester really have to be serious in improving their position.  The points are so thin that it will be difficult to determine who will rise, stay, and fall from the ranks.  For me it was very clear from the start that it would be Chelsea in 5th place because this is a pretty unpredictable team in every bet.  I lost several times when I took their side
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 19, 2021, 05:23:03 PM
Leicester made a great start to the season. But now they are not being able to perform as expected. They had a very bad performance in the last 5 matches of the previous season. They would have been able to stay in the top 3, in the previous season, if not for the poor performance at the end of the season. They have lost their form in the same way this season.

I dont think so, Leicester has made their best performance. if you said that they had a very bad performance just because they were beated by Chelsea, thats not fair bro. Every team have their own bad luck, but that doesn't mean if they are always bad. Liverpool still have a thin chance to reach the 4th position, not only they have to fight for winning the next match, they have to pray Leicester isnt able to beat their next opponent.
906  Economy / Economics / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: May 19, 2021, 03:51:19 PM
As I write this, bitcoin is at $36,810--one hell of a drop in roughly a week, but that doesn't mean we're in a bear market.  A bear market is a trend that has to be established, and if you look at bitcoin's price chart there is still an upward trend with this massive dip that just happened.  I'd call this a selloff instead, and this time I have to put the blame on Elon Musk and his statements and possibly his sale of bitcoin for it.  I can't think of any other reason for a crash of this magnitude.

Let's see where bitcoin is in a month or so before everyone declares a bear market.  There's a good chance it'll bounce back if people see this as a great buying opportunity and put their money where their mouth is.

I half agree with your opinion that it is generally the decline in prices over a period of time that determines whether the market is bearish or not.  However, if every day the market corrects 20-50%, until within 1 week the market does not show any significant changes, can this not be another indicator for a bearish trend?

908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: May 19, 2021, 02:03:29 PM
There were alot of tweets from him over this past weekend.
At one point he was asking why bitcoin wasn't faster and why not centralize the mining for it - in a sense.
Someone told him, what does he think BCash/BSV was all about? Wink

The thing is he is commenting on crypto and bitcoin without any experience or research into it and to me that is dangerous to do since there alot of people (I call them musketeers) who hang on his every word, as yesterday's one worded tweet shown this to be true, and can cause irreparable damage to any cryptocurrency he is concentrating on.
In this instance it was bitcoin, but could of been done to any coin he chooses.
And this to me can be very dangerous in the current market we all are in.

I don't think that EM has never done any previous research on crypto because he is such a smart person that even in taking short profits for just 2 months he has already made a profit of 128 M USD on selling 10% of his BTC.  But what I really regret about all of his words, why are there so many coins on the market, only DOGE is fully supported by him?  This is just a meme coin on all coins with good fundamentals, why not another coin.  Very disappointing, he seemed to be gambling with a large capital.
I think that he has done research about bitcoin and other altcoin.
Why he choose dogecoin because if he can get let say 30% until 50% total supply within 2019 till 2020 and promote them at the end of the year.
How much he can earn now?

By mastering a certain proportion of Dogecoin it will be very easy to increase and decrease the price in the market until it gets its biggest profit.  Look at the results of his deeds, the market is out of control while he has already earned hundreds of millions of USD in profits.  It is very, very extraordinary, great at doing mass fooling.

Today a very interesting meeting of teams from 3rd and 4th places in the table. If Leicester doesn't lose this match, they will probably secure a promotion to the Champions League. Chelsea cannot afford to lose as Liverpool will likely seize the chance to overtake them in the table. I believe the guests will achieve their goal today, I bet Chelsea - Leicester: x2
To see Liverpool 4th by the end of the day or not to see it, that was the question! Liverpool @1.2 will face Burnley @10, which is unstable team so an away will is very possible. Now the odds between Chelsea @1.8 and Leicester @4.8 are quite strange.. Bookies not trusting Leicester can do something although winning with 1 goal vs Chelsea few days ago in FA Cup. Chelsea will certainly fight for its CL spot and Liverpool will try to take one, I think that these two teams will win today.

I even feel that the possibility that will fill the 4th position is Liverpool because of the high motivation as the last ticket for CL, even seeing the strength statistics of the opposing team, Liverpool are more benefited because the next 2 opponents are the bottom team while Chelsea, which in my opinion is quite an unstable team.  have a fairly competitive opponent, namely Leicester.  In the FA Cup they are defeated, so there is still a chance that at least Chelsea will only be able to draw.

Based on the spreadsheet that you created https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fmYF8ND3lGHeZCzNww8chtiz7ZvbhSAzXOHKPkKDVF8/edit?usp=drivesdk ,  I have seen that the proportion of Microstrategy ownership in BTC is over 2.2 B USD, while Tesla is 1.5 B USD.  As far as I know, Tesla has sold 10% of its ownership so that the value should have been reduced, but I don't see any changes to Tesla's ownership.  Did I miss something?  CMIIW
912  Economy / Economics / Re: 🔴 Breaking News - Elon Musk is going to part with all his Bitcoin BTC on: May 18, 2021, 01:39:39 PM
How is this breaking news in the first place? An investor smartly purchased BTC when he thought it was low and sold it when he felt it reached the target he aimed for. That is smart trading people.

This is how the world works. Scolding someone who earned money legitimately in a smart way is childish in my opinion.

I am still a fan of Musk primarily because of his creative ideas. He probably will sell his entire BTC stash, but might buy and HODL more Doge and other popular altcoins for the long-term.

You think EM investor is smart by manipulating prices? do you feel confident with your statement? How can the tweets he keeps on going up and down in the market be considered smart? It is true that the world works like that, but if in the world all the rich people with abundant wealth behave the same as EM I don't think the world will last long.

914  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 B in Bitcoins on: May 17, 2021, 03:29:19 PM
So Elon has clarified that Tesla hasn't sold any Bitcoin. And I don't think that Tesla has purchased any new coins either, given his earlier tweets. So there is no evidence to claim that Elon actually profited from the market manipulation of Bitcoin. This guy is making his moves in a planned manner, and right now it is impossible for the SEC to touch him. Remember that Elon is the same guy who once tweeted that Tesla shares are overpriced, and that resulted in a crash in Tesla prices.

If this is true, then it would be much better for Elon to be checked by the SEC for proof that Elon didn't buy 10,000 BTC when the price plummeted due to an issue he had developed.  The SEC has the power to investigate manipulators.  Because after all, the most disadvantaged are the penniless investors who set aside their savings for investment but the price is played by whales to enrich themselves.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 17, 2021, 02:28:29 PM
These people who are now vaccinated will not care if they could infect other people, but I guess since the news only says that it will be possible only within the premises then I guess that's reasonable. let's just hope that their family is also vaccinated so when they go home they would not infect their families. I don't know the number of people getting the vaccine already but this move is very confident and it's telling that soon they will be living in a normal world as the vaccine has given to everyone already.

Actually, it is true, they can infect other people easily in this manner.
And when they go home, another risk to take. So it is up to the person if he wants that kind of risk.
Even if they are allowed not to use mask, it is still their prerogative if they want to be safe from others.
This will be good if almost all their constituents already got their shot, but I believe the percentage is not enough.
As it says below site, only about 36.7% of the total US population got their shot so far.

https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2021/01/28/960901166/how-is-the-covid-19-vaccination-campaign-going-in-your-state

That's a big percent already, and I'm sure it's growing in numbers as vaccines are produced consistently, also, I believe that there are people who are not willing to get vaccinated so we can never reach that 100%. For people who are always going out, they should get a vaccine and their family as well, maybe the virus would not lead to serious health damage of some but there are people who are already dying from this virus so it should not be taken from granted.

Interestingly, there are many cases that occur when the second vaccine injection, patients experience unexpected symptoms.  I also do not wish to be vaccinated for various personal considerations.  Casinos are a big gathering place for people and actually vaccines will help alleviate the spread of this pandemic but will not eliminate it 100%.  I prefer online gambling rather than taking enormous risks for myself and my family.

Elon Musk Confirms Tesla Has Not Sold Bitcoin After Price Crash

Elon Musk has said that Tesla, his electric car company, has not sold any of its Bitcoin holdings.

It comes after earlier speculation that Tesla had dumped some of its vast cryptocurrency portfolio.

Musk made a statement to the contrary in a tweet early on Monday morning. Replying to another user, he wrote: "To clarify speculation, Tesla has not sold any Bitcoin."

https://www.newsweek.com/elon-musk-tesla-not-sold-bitcoin-price-crash-1591974

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1394170030741413888

....

Looks like Elon Musk / tesla are HODL'ing still.

Indeed, currently most investors in crypto are those who only see the benefits of issues, not those who put forward the biggest fundamentals and innovations in the economy so that the market is very easy to move only with stupid issues.  I'm so sick of the Elon effect.  How long does this end and all of her tweets are considered winds of day.  Do all investors now consider Elon to be the father of crypto?  So that all his words are like the light from the sky.  The easier it is for us to be consumed by the Elon twit issue, the more fragile the potential market will be.  Are we that easy to let the market collapse just because of the whales?  Aren't there many people who believed in Crypto before Elon?  there are paypal, visa and mastercard, micro strategy and many other big companies.  Why is Elon always being deified?
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 17, 2021, 12:29:19 PM
The goal difference between Liverpool and Leicester is the same... which means that Liverpool's fate is in their own hands.
If Liverpool win, then they will qualify for the Champions League no matter what happens in the Chelsea vs Leicester game.
You're right, mate. Whatever the result of the match between Chelsea and Leicester, if Liverpool can get the full points against Burnley, then Liverpool will move up to 4th place but who will qualify for the Champions League, still depends on the results of the 38th matches. So if Liverpool want to qualify for the Champions League, then they have to win in the remaining two games.

After defeating Westbrom, I'm sure Liverpool are getting even more excited about getting their last ticket to the Champions League.  One more step their efforts will be completed and I still hope Liverpool can enter the Champions League next season. Apart from the problems of injured players and even internal conflicts, if the team remains solid to achieve their final target it will be much easier.  It is very sad, if the Team who from the beginning was predicted to be the winner of the English league but ended up even without a ticket in the Champion league.

Tottenham's game this time is very boring.  Even though their opposing team was not statistically that strong but until the second half the game still didn't show good results for Tottenham.  Previously, Westham, who was only able to draw with Brighton, had a great chance of being overtaken by Tottenham in 6th position. Does anyone have the same thoughts as me?  or indeed I have too high expectations with Tottenham

It looks like Tottenham don't want to finish the league in higher spots. I won't be surprised if Wolves find a goal and win the game. It's weird because all big players Bale, Son and Kane is on the pitch but they don't show their usual performance. They still have a chance to finish in Top 5 but this performance won't make them earn that spot. Maybe second half will be better? Kane scored but it's cancelled.

With a fairly tedious start it can end very well.  It turned out that the high hopes I gave Tottenham were not in vain.  At least the results this time didn't tarnish their reputation.  The next match awaited is Liverpool's struggle to win a ticket to CL.  I hope fully, Liverpool can execute well their last chance as has been shown previously against Chelsea.  I hope Liverpool can beat Westbrom and have more hope.

IMHO, Lolli wrote the greatest answer to Elon's stupid announcement.
I know that most of us are deeply pissed off by the way he behaved: too much inconsistency from him and too many changes in a short amount of time. I kindly ask you to respect the man though, there is no point in attacking him personally. I know we are right in defending btc from his false accusations, I know that, but stop attacking the guy on a personal level. Every attack like that, even if you are right, will put on the wrong side.  Wink

To be honest I see another point of Elon's unstable behavior in his investment with Bitcoin.  Before the issue of Elon invested in doge or other cryptos.  Tesla was not glimpsed by the rich in the crypto world.  However, the crypto segment is those who have super big money so by acting in such a way, this is all just to boost Tesla's popularity in crypto owners.  An interesting marketing strategy, by investing in Elon, is able to bring out Tesla's branding well in the Crypto market.
