I just happened upon this thread and I have to say that while it seems that a great idea it seems to have gone through some changes. Is there a quick breakdown of what has happened and what the end result was to the service described that can resolve the 100+ pages in the thread?

I was looking into this a while back and even tried one of those online sites that sets up the store, makes the t-shirts and then lets you set the prices and forward traffic to their website.

Yes, 21 BTC is a nice amount of money and it should be wasted in Drugs. For me, i will buy a Car and save the rest for my future use. Also i might investing some portion of it in Alt coin trading. |

i believe 1000$ is huge amount to invest in the beginning .before investing it is best to aquire those skills by doing some online or offline jobs , gain experience and then invest 1/10 of the amount like 100$ begin with and then if it looks profitable probably that time we can concentrate on investing little more money in those things  . 1000$ is an indeed a big amount to invest. I would perfer if someone can guide how to run small business from 100$ to 200$ ? One business in my mind is Forex trading but it is quite risky if you do not have proper know how of the economics. |

You should have to go for altcoins also if you want to trade with smallest amount and want to increase the amount of your bitcoin, try to learn about different altcoins and invest in that only which you come to know that it will benefit more in the coming future.

i think blockchain most trusted wallet so far, because You have full access to the private key. You can backup and store in the safest place, and don't worry lost your bitcoin.
By blockchain, are you referring to blockchain.info? If so, please enlighten me about it since I haven't used it at all. I've only been introduced to Xapo from the first time I knew about bitcoin. Any specific advantage of blockchain over Xapo? Well only Xapo owns the private keys, so you dont own the Bitcoins you have there, only some Xapo IOU. If nothing wrong happens, you can use your Xapo IOU and withdraw the Bitcoin. But the moment something goes wrong, you end up with just Xapo IOU, unable to withdraw the Bitcoin. Look at similar Bitfinex example what might happen at any time. blockchain.info dont know the private keys in your wallet so its less risky to have Bitcoins there. But make sure you print out the recovery words for your wallet, because if you lose your login info, blockchain.info cannot recover your Bitcoins, because they dont know your private keys. So your expected to secure your login info/recovery words. Xapo do not give you the private key and hence it is just like an exchange. If the site goes dead, all your coins are gone. So its better to use desktop wallet as then the funds will be in your control. |

the worst decision I ever make with bitcoin when I am not buying bitcoin when its first launch on 2009  and I don't follow any news about bitcoin. until this year 2016 I've meet and know what is bitcoin. but i'm not regret it, still I am very luck I can know bitcoin as soon as I can and I think its a long journey to start following bitcoin journey itself. I also made the same mistake. One of my friend asked to me invest in bitcoins in the start of this year when the bitcoin price was $380. At that time, i didn't have full confidence in bitcoins. Now i feel i made a mistake. |

I don't know how to, cause i don't have a women to motivate, but i think that if your woman don't like what you do, you should not be with her anyway.
it is really hard and if the person is not interested in bitcoins then it would be impossible to make her use it or get interested in it I think Everyone loves money and bitcoin is a money. Bitcoin has walked into my life at the right time when I was in real need to earn some money, as I was unemployed and was not having any source of income and bitcoin has helped me at that time and the journey still continues.
Although i am not in need of urgent money but yet bitcoin has changed my life and way of thinking. Now i know many areas of earning online through Bitcoins. |

Xapo claims to have bought the most secure cold storage ever by having an actual physical cold stored bunker in some weird place in the middle of some mountains or something like that. If those guys get hacked too it would be a disaster, no way they would recover. Bitcoin can recover of anything at this point, but it would suck.
Xapo also claims that they will compensate their customer in case of hack and their customer will not lose anything. I think this is just a marketing tactics. If ever Xapo get hacks then we shall see a different recreation from their team as they cant give lost bitcoins to customers from their own pocket. |

Yup, Because it's a good earning opportunity when you buy and sell right and because it has big potential to rise and increase in value even more..
If you want to buy it and then sell it later, you can sell it at the end of this year.. or wait for the next year to come!! The price should soon rise and we will make good profit! Don't be in hurry to sell it, if you really want to make good profits then you should hold it for the long term and I think the current price will allow you to do so. Yes, if you do not have any urgent need to sell your coins, it is a better idea to save bitcoins for long term. The way things are moving it is very likely that you will get 100$ profit on your investment. |

Yeah right there is no update in raiblocks and looks like they have no plan to continue raiblock.. also i agree about CB better to focus in this altcoin because they are planning to increase more project for CBX. that can increase more value in the future.
The raiblocks dev most probably won't be working on the project at this time, even tho it was said that he may continue it later on, but the important thing is that there is someone who will continue the project in form of a new fork. You can read more about the new raiblocks fork here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1569955.0 This new Raiblock fork is not the original one. But it is a good effort if all the good aspects of Old Raiblocks are integrated with it. No ICO and Minning through faucets were two key elements which are the cause of interest for this coin and i hope the new project keeps these two features with it. |
