901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: October 23, 2017, 12:14:59 AM
Bitcoin is telling the world how the future looks like. Little by little, bitcoin is shifting the financial system in the world from fiat to cryptocurrency. The vision that started as a lone cry in the dessert became the force that made the influential and powerful bankers shocked. They dismissed bitcoin in the beginning as a nuisance but now they are shaking because of how solid bitcoin swiftly becomes.
902  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Legal? on: October 22, 2017, 11:27:37 PM
The legality of bitcoin depends on who you are, and what you’re doing with it.

There are three main categories of bitcoin stakeholder. Someone may fall under more than one of these categories, and each category has its own legal considerations.

And what are these categories that you are talking about? Can you please post them here too so that we will also know them. As far as I know about bitcoin's legality, it is highly a case to case basis since we have different domestic laws in the world. Bitcoin may be legal in one country and illegal in another. It does not matter how you use it. Even legal tenders of any country is being used in illegal activities.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: October 22, 2017, 08:48:07 AM
Of course I still believe in icos, we should give the new icos time to developing i've see many icos that are successful now looking like failed ICO but after a year it become between top 5 .

Do you know why? Because a lot of people are very shallow and lazy. They are joining whatever they think are legit without reading a single page of the project's whitepaper. They listen easily to referrals and recommendations but do not check the website nor the roadmap of the project. And when the price is still below ICO after more or less 5 months, they would suddenly declare them as scams and crap. What they do not know is that the real deal of the project as indicated in the roadmap is still at least 7 months later. These lazy ass boils my blood!
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 3 cryptocurrencies on: October 22, 2017, 12:06:53 AM
I will choose Ethereum, Waves, and BAT for my top 3 investment. These coins are for long terms hodling. The climbing up and down the charts do not bother to me when it comes to these three coins. They are short term and normal market fluctuations. In the long run, ETH, Waves, and BAT will become successful in meeting their projects' vision.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][ICO] AR-Token by Cappasity | Extending the AR/VR on: October 21, 2017, 11:35:09 AM
I saw the announcement of this project on twitter and found it quite interesting! But there are few posts in this thread! The project will still happen, will ICO really happen in 24 days? Are rewards campaigns still active? I'd like to join.

You need not worry, mate. Our support is solid behind this project. Success cannot be measured by the number of pages in the Bitcointalk ANN threads. Especially because some ANN threads here are pumped by ignorant newbies that are secretly paid for doing so. ARToken by Cappasity has already made a name unlike other projects.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin GOLD - A well thought Scam? on: October 21, 2017, 10:04:29 AM
It may not be a scam in the end. But since it is using Bitcoin and just added another word for it to become another altcoin altogether, it will probably end up with the same fate as Bitcoin Cash. Why don't they just create an entirely different altcoin and project? This copying will definitely brand them as another shitcoin. But I hope I will be receiving free BTG just the same.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: October 21, 2017, 08:52:59 AM
why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?

International in terms of bitcoin can only mean that countries can adopt and use it. But it does not mean that it is accepted around the world. At the end of the day, it only depends on the particular country whether to accept it or ban it and label it as illegal. I think those countries that banned bitcoin are not convinced of its real-life use.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Trading Truly Profitable on: October 20, 2017, 02:05:12 AM
Not legendary or die hard trader lol, but I would say that altcoin trading is truly profitable when you make the correct picks.
I usually just look at the whitepaper, roadmap, team, feasibility  and uniqueness of a project.

Seems to work ok so far.

Same here. Very far from being a legendary and die hard trader.  Grin I would just like to add a little to some very good points already taken by Zeeks here. You need to follow your altcoins closely. Monitor them every now and then. Watch out for some upcoming announcements, partnerships, and additional features. And then be firm with it. Do not just cut loss easily. Wait for the price to gain before selling. And then once it dips, buy again.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: October 20, 2017, 01:06:03 AM
It is safe and secure in comparison to other cryptocurrencies. But if we try to look at the safety of bitcoin alone and without comparison to altcoins, it is not a hundred percent safe. But these are risks involved in Bitcoin. Risks are normal for as long as they are not very incredible. Even deposits in banks are not risk-free even if they are insured. After all, we all face risks daily.
910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: interest in bitcoin is increasing on: October 19, 2017, 11:46:58 PM
As per we can see the interest in bitcoin of people is increasing at a high rate...I believe it will be our future...but will the shoppingsites like flipkar,amazon be able to accept bitcoins?
may be in the next generation.......thanz fr reading

There is no other way for these famous online shopping sites if they want to extend their market but to accept cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin. This is going to happen, although we do not know exactly when. The use of bitcoin will probably grow double or triple or even more every year and so e-commerce will have to start considering acceptance of bitcoin as payment.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: October 19, 2017, 09:52:04 AM
The waves are really a very unique project and a very good way to invest
in the future the value of the waves will be $ 20

I am one of the strong supporters of waves. I would like to see that day when waves will finally reach a double dollar figure. I am rather sad with waves' price movement as of this time. It has held 5$ but only for a very short while and then went down again even below $4. Until now we are still trying to reach $4. I hope by the time 2017 closes, waves will be around $10.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the importance of HODLing - CMC 2016 vs 2017 on: October 18, 2017, 09:33:26 AM
Case closed. After everything's said and done, the data prove that hodling is money. Grin It looks unbelievable to me now.  Shocked Imagine how everything turns up very fast. I hope this will become even better in the following year. I am hodling several altcoins right now. I hope it will multiply several fold after a year. And I will be the one to post it like this.  Grin
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WTF is Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2017, 08:39:10 AM
Will the bitcoin replace the Gold? If there is A war coming everyone will run to the Bitcoin instead of the gold?

Cheers

Bitcoin cannot replace gold. It may for a while compete with gold as an investment or as an asset worth hodling over time. But it still cannot overtake what gold has accomplished. With bitcoin, you are still risking your investment because the crypto market is very volatile. Gold is very stable in comparison to cryptocurrencies investment.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO discussion group on: October 18, 2017, 07:41:56 AM
ARToken by Cappasity is one ICO that is very solid. Cappasity has already been in the business for a long time. It is basically focused on 3D business. The good thing with this ICO is that you are assured of the project to continue because it is already an existing one unlike other ICOs that may opt to stop altogether when the ICO turns out badly.
915  Economy / Speculation / Re: when will bitcoin price struggle to breach $6000? on: October 17, 2017, 08:27:07 AM
$5645.72 #bitstamp;
$5661.96 #GDAX;
$5654.80 #gemini;
$5655.00 #kraken;
$5642.49 #hitbtc;
$5695.34 #cex;
when will bitcoin price struggle to breach $6000?

Let us just patiently wait for its right time, bro. Let it unfold timely. I believe it will happen within the month.  Wink It stopped and then recede a little. This is not something we should interpret negatively. This might just be one way for bitcoin to gain acceleration and then break the $6,000 limit. And then $10,000 by December.  Cool
916  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Almighty bitcoin" still pushing on: October 17, 2017, 07:13:19 AM
 Grin.I had already known it was going to touch the $5000 mark this month, it got to my prediction quite early.

I'm now expecting a retracing step backwards to $4800 mark before a new trend would be formed either another bullish or dip.
Guys what do you think?

The $5000 breaking was rather expected. It has gone there once in the last month but very quick only. I think there will be a retracement. Well, if you look at the movement of Bitcoin as of the moment, it has already stopped its high flying. Kind of stable in somewhere around $5,500. I think it won't go as down as $4800 though.
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: October 17, 2017, 06:28:21 AM
Bitcoin is both. It is a currency because it is intended to be one. It can be used as a currency, although much different from fiat because it is an online currency or money. It is an asset at the same time because if you keep it for a while, it grows in value. Unlike money that depreciates over time, Bitcoin appreciates.
918  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaching $10,000 worth is possible this year. on: October 16, 2017, 04:17:40 AM
Base on the current upward trend of bitcoin in recent time don't you think it is possible that bitcoin value will reach $10,000 in the nearest future? As for me I'm optimistic that bitcoin will reach $10,000 before end of December, 2017. And I believe that the sailing will start by November after Sewig2x. Do you agree with me?

You are probably correct with your prediction that Bitcoin might reach $10,000 within the year 2017. I am also optimistic about it. However, the sailing will not start in November. We are actually already setting the sail now and have in fact started going there. The month of October might end up seeing more than a $6,000 bitcoin.
919  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: October 16, 2017, 02:38:55 AM
I heard Robert Kyosaki is talking about the crashed of FIAT CURRENCY? when this thing will happen? how are we going to respond?

That is simply the vision and speculation of Robert Kyosaki. But I agree with him. Time will really come when fiat will be totally replaced with cryptocurrencies. Crypto is the future of currencies because it is totally digital. The world will be using a version of money that would perfectly fit the social situation.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: October 15, 2017, 01:14:00 AM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

Not necessarily, altcoins are not totally dependent on bitcoin. They have their own projects, their own roadmaps to be fulfilled, and their own coins. They have their own partnerships and supporters. They generate their own value. However, if bitcoin dies, it will severely affect the entire crypto world, thereby affecting the prices of altcoins for sure. It will extremely cripple the crytpo market.
