901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How interested are you to re-invest BTC? Need Your Input! on: May 18, 2020, 05:11:57 PM
The survey says it's private so I'll answer it here.
I hold some bitcoins and I do want to earn some interest while I hold them. I don't want to exchange them to any other crypto or stablecoin as it might be a loss if I miss the bullish trend of bitcoin. Speaking of interest rate, anything below 12% per year are not worth bothering moving coins in and out. I personally have invested my bitcoin on several platforms and my average return are 1% per month.
902  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 INVESTING BTC, LTC and DOGE is OPEN NOW on: May 18, 2020, 04:42:50 PM
I tried their investing option, but tbh, if u dont invest a serious ammount, maybe something like at least 0.35 BTC, u shouldnt expect much profits Smiley

Every profit is still a profit, whether you invest small or large amounts. For some, a small passive profit from a investment is better than taking the risk of gambling for a higher profit.

Investing in a casino is worthwhile if you keep for a long time. For anyone checking their balance each and every day, it could be frustrating. It's good that yolodice displays the stats on real time but a difference of 1% can go any side in anytime specially when the bankroll is small. As the bankroll rises and you let it stay for long, the profit would be much more predictable.
903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's something Satoshi didn't think of. on: May 18, 2020, 01:20:21 AM
I would like to think satoshi planned most of it. Bitcoin was not intended to be a currency but an investment. Satoshi planned it all from the start, all of his holding and disappearing are linked to inflationary nature of bitcoin. As of the future, the number of transaction may decrease but that necessarily won't decrease the price. The fees would be high to sustain mining.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 17, 2020, 04:15:54 PM
All of the licensed casinos are of course closed here. But the shady ones that operates without a license and local poker groups are always filled with gamblers. There's a fake understanding that if the participants are all known and from the same place, they won't contact coronavirus.
Today our city had the first cases of coronavirus, let's see if that changes anything.
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Reveals How much Bitcoins he Hold on: May 17, 2020, 10:09:51 AM
Elon Musk is one of the guys we follow and recently he started speaking about Bitcoin (Cryptocurrency) and recently he Told in a tweet How much Bitcoins he actually Holds
Can You Guess That How much this Billionaire Guy Hold Bitcoin

He Revealed that he Hold only 0.25 BTC Worth Upto 2000+ Dollars
Source: https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1261429085999296512?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fdecrypt.co%2F29053%2Felon-musk-reveals-how-much-bitcoin-he-owns

Also CZ Binance Reply ELON

Do you guys realy think a 40$ Billion Networth Guy Hold only 0.25BTC?

This is a joke of the year that Elon Musk hold only 0.25 bitcoins.  Even if he did not wanted to tell the truth he could have announced some reasonable amount. No one will believe that a millionaire is holding such a small amount of bitcoins.

Elon musk claiming he have 0.25 bitcoins is strange. Atleast he admitted of possessing bitcoins. That would make him poorer than myself. Elon is a intelligent person and a tech enthusiast. Has talked about bitcoin and Ethereum on several occasions. It would not be a surprise if he's saying he have 0.25% of all bitcoins.
906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins joins the bank on: May 17, 2020, 10:04:44 AM
People are resistive to change. And they are not always right with what they think they know. JP Morgan might not have understood what bitcoin is at that moment and when he realized it, his banking service extends to crypto exchanges. It doesn't mean JP Morgan likes or is bullish about bitcoin. He is a businessman and he does what makes him money.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC halving party is over, MASS PoC takes you back to ten years ago on: May 17, 2020, 04:24:34 AM
Easily mineable coin are surely a great way to start your journey into crypto currency. Not only they will make you understand how real mining works, they could even increase in price over the time and yield you some good rewards. I've been lucky for biblepay getting 10s of block solo mining on my PC which went pretty high after some times.
Bitcoin mining is a totally different league. It would need dedicated hardware and planning. And you can with those miner mine only the SHA256 coins.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Electroneum TOPS +450% ROI in last 30 DAYS! on: May 17, 2020, 02:05:36 AM
Electroneum was a potential coin and a pump was surely coming but again this large growth could be unsustaining and probably go with a correction. If it goes on one, it would be a good time to buy Electroneum as they have large plans ahead. Though I was holding no large amount of ETN and missed the bull ride.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Third party will launch TON on: May 17, 2020, 01:21:11 AM
I am curious enough if it's okay with Telegram to use their project that suspended? For sure, these groups of developers has authorized by Telegram. The difficulty here is what if, these groups of developers are also connected with Telegram? Do they just want to cut the connection of Telegram to the TON cryptocurrency?
Read more about the issue here: Telegram Drops TON Cryptocurrency Project After US Prohibits Global Distribution

I don't think Involvement of telegram developers on a project that was pursued by telegram is a bad thing. It's not the people who wanted to exclude telegram of TON. It was the Securities and Exchanges Commission which is forcing Telegram to not get involved in it. It's more of a legal issue that telegram is not involved not and ethical one.
910  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: May 16, 2020, 05:08:09 PM
I am not saying that they should be attacked or scammed or anything, I am saying that if you want to stay hidden you should basically not be considered in the wagering competition at all, because you wanted to be out and you do not want to be part of it, and you do not want your name to be shown, so stay hidden, do not give your name anyone, and do not be considered in a competition as well.

This was of course just one part of it, makes no sense because you are losing out on all players who want to wager and make money and join the competition and that means less money and less profits for the casino, why would any casino do anything like that so I agreed that the idea I suggested wasn't really that great and gave a better idea as well for it.

bustabit doesn't ask for you to provide your real name for the userneame. You can put anything you like be it numbers or symbols. And unlike other gambling platform, it doesn't have the limit of users you can create. So, if you feel you've used an obvious username from which others can recognize you, you can always create a new user with a unique name.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Altcoins Set To Explode in 2020 on: May 16, 2020, 01:39:48 PM
POLIS is a scam don't invest in it.
BNB is a good coin but its success is highly depended on the success of Binance. I don't think Binance would rule the market for very long.
Ethereum's success also depends on how good they execute the new blockchain on POS. But with so much work done, Ethereum is a safe choice.
If we are to consider a real third option, it would be cardano as they have better chance to rise in 2020.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino observations (Campaigns, Promotions, New games, New tournaments). on: May 16, 2020, 01:23:12 PM
Nice reference thread. I hope you'd keep it updating.
You could even add faucet with color coded for amounts or coins they provide. Faucet are one of the promotion that lets players to test the casino without depositing at first. So, they are a good tool specially for newer casinos. Whether or not they provide a referral reward is another. About half of these casino do provide that.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto PaiGaw gambling on: May 16, 2020, 01:15:42 PM
Sportsbet have Pai Gow https://sportsbet.io/casino/table-games/pai-gow-betsoft

Glad to see every form of poker and games are coming to crypto based poker sites. And it's amazing how sportsbet has grown from a sportsbook to a great casino. I was surprised to see some locally played games here been listed on sportsbet.
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.K. Rowling, Author Of Harry Potter Is Interested in Bitcoin, Time To Short? on: May 16, 2020, 01:11:16 PM
Even if she was not clear about anything, Elon Musk came there to preach bitcoin. Though there's very less people left to hear about bitcoin but their ideal personality talking about it would bring in more interest. And such discussion would take us from here to a bitcoin accepted here.

And I laughed hard here. Take a merit.
915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Personally i think bitcoin is future on: May 16, 2020, 10:53:29 AM
These are speculation which would come true only when bitcoin overcomes all of its hurdles. The two largest being the scalability and legality. One is an internal and technological hurdle while another is external. For it to come true, there should be an overwhelming support for bitcoin by all of miners, developers and general public.
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is our killer app? on: May 16, 2020, 02:24:37 AM
High graphic battle royale game are still way far from blockchain based games. Even the privately operated blockchain based gaming platform are failing to build and engaging game. There have been some approaches towards P2P games with lightning network like https://www.lightningbattle.com/ which have 2 games at the moment that could be played P2P. I remember playing one P2P coinflip but don't remember the name.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Visa applied for Digital Dollar Patent in US on: May 15, 2020, 03:11:22 PM
Visa one of the largest financial service providers in the world with its global debit and credit cards has filed a patent for ‘Digital Fiat Currency’ which is going to be a digital currency on a centralized computer using blockchain technology.
Visa was initially a member of Libra association but withdrew from it and now is pursuing a digital blockchain currency of its own. What's your take on it?

918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should startup crypto projects use DYCO instead of IEO/ICO? on: May 15, 2020, 02:57:47 PM
Once the token price falls by more than 20% from the initial price, there's this offering called Dynamic Coin Offering where participants can generate risk free profits by buying tokens from the market and be able to refund them. Those tokens that were refunded are automatically burned reducing the circulating supply by up to 100%.

Is this better than IEO and ICO itself being that people are entering crypto, risk free?
Interesting, it looks like they saw the weakness of ICO due to trust and confidence with the project. What worries me here is the ability of the project to sustained all those refunds that will be push through by the investors. This is a win win situation if you think about it. Comparing to IEO there is a chance that you can participate as I read even sold at the market is capable of selling on the team. But as I read the terms, this is something new that might work or not. But lets see, it says that there will be the first dyco around May so we can hear it sooner as we already on the middle of the month.

And for burning the tokens, they should be bought from the market and who would buy those coins? Would it be daomaker or the project itself. If the project have to instantly buy back their token after getting listed, they'd never get listed at all. ICO are done for raising the funds, if they won't be able to use that money, they won't issue an ICO. The gradual unfreezing of funds is a better idea.
919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we know how many nodes are connected to network? on: May 15, 2020, 12:47:06 PM
This site literally shows the live number of nodes https://bitnodes.io/

I think this also does not include the listening only nodes and are just the active fully-validating nodes.
They also break it down by countries which shows US and Germany are the leaders for fully validating nodes.

920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know any comprehensive study about lockdown effect on online gaming? on: May 15, 2020, 09:55:39 AM
There probably are more number of people gambling and more number of bets placed but I think the amount would be smaller. With many people losing there job and many fighting to keep their stomach feed, people would be saving anything they have and only gambling with the money they would not mind lose. Gambling certainly is a good past time but people are doing it with lower amount.
