901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The is always on gambling, never the individual. on: January 04, 2024, 12:41:46 PM
Why do people blame gamble for their own act of irresponsibility. No one is talking about their own part in their story of bad experience's with gambling, all we get to hear is gambling is bad and a useless activity. Why?
Because this statement appears based on the general view of society and is reinforced by evidence which always shows that people who gamble almost end up losing everything. Then another view like the one you expressed refers to the individual himself because he is unable to control his emotions and lacks financial management when gambling. In my opinion both views are equally correct based on their respective realms of thought and cannot be rejected. People have different views so that they can produce different statements about one condition. Don't be surprised because this is just a matter of the results of people's gambling activities in general.

NFTs have taken the digital world by storm. How do you envision non-fungible tokens impacting industries beyond art and gaming? Share your wildest NFT use-case scenarios!

I was never interested in NFTs anymore, now everyone knows that NFTs are very easy to manipulate and have no value at all. There may be some but overall NFTs will just be trash in your wallet. In my opinion, people who feel optimistic about being bullish on NFTs are just a defense because they are the last buyers whose NFTs are no longer interested. The question is simple, how many NFTs have you sold so far and how much have you earned?

Harry Kane was a top striker with excellent scoring ability and was regarded as one of the best Premier League strikers at the time. His performance there, as well as being the Bundesliga's leading goal scorer, comes as no surprise to me. If you can shine in the Premier League and be rated as one of the best strikers at the time, you can go to any league in Europe and become their best striker because their competition is less competitive than that of the Premier League.

Harry Kane is 30 years old and still doing an excellent job, leading other younger strikers in the league, thanks to his previous experience in the Premier League and the new team he has joined, which has all the quality players required for a team to succeed. I am not surprised by Ronaldo, who continues to score like a young striker; this can be attributed to the intense competition he has faced in the Premier League and the second most competitive league, La Liga.
It is true that in the Premier League Harry Kane is one of the most taken into account players, but personally what is very unfortunate about Harry Kane in the Premier League is the club he plays for. Imagine if Kane belonged to Man City, Liverpool or Man United, perhaps his reputation would be even greater than when he was at Spurs. In the Bundesliga, Harry Kane is an important figure in replacing the position left by Lewandowski. After many times Bayern Munich searched for the right candidate, now Kane deserves to be in that position.

I will not worry about Kane future even though he is 30 years old, at Bayern Munich his presence will always be special. Because if Bayern has found the right sticker, their loyalty will not be in doubt.

~~~
Real Madrid is a team that considers every possibility. Therefore, even if there is a problem in Real Madrid's defense, Ancelotti will solve it somehow and put the best squad on the field. Rudiger is an important name, of course, and I'm sure the reserve players are capable of being as successful as him. Even Real Madrid's substitute players must be of top quality.
Real Madrid senior era will soon end this year, marked by the end of the contracts of Kroos, Nacho and Modrić, which will definitely leave a deep mark on fans and all current Madrid players. It's a shame that if they choose to end it, Ancelotti will not insist on staying because he is aware that Kroos, Modrić and Nanco have the right to decide their own path after giving everything for Madrid for so long. By leaving a legacy for young players, there are many hopes that they will definitely want to see in the new era of Madrid.
So is it time for the successors, dominated by young players like Bellingham, Vini and Rodrygo, to be able to take on the tough task? Hopefully this decision will not have a detrimental impact on player performance. What if Kroos and Modric played a role in supplying the ball that became the goal. Florentino Perez needs to take action by targeting the transfer market so that if he buys players this month he has time to properly oversee the adaptation process.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 02, 2024, 02:10:22 PM
Even in his first season with Bayern Munich he was already at the top of the Bundesliga top scorer list. It must be admitted that he was able to adapt well to a new environment and even though he was still new, he was enough to meet most people's expectations regarding his performance which still showed stable numbers for an experienced striker.
He has answered all doubts by becoming the Bundesliga's top scorer with 21 goals. 30 years old with 15 Bundesliga games is incredible. I think the Bundesliga also has similar quality to the EPL. But it's the EPL that I consider the most competitive league so far. But it's also possible that Kane gets better support at Bayern Munich. So Kane seems to perform more perfectly in the Bundesliga than when appearing in the EPL.   With a price of €100 million I think Munich is not a loss for playing time until the age of 33-34 years.
Apart from having a leadership  and professional spirit  Kane also has long experience in the Premier League, so with his abilities he makes the Bundesliga the perfect league for  his current age. Meanwhile if he is still active in the Premier League his record will not be as high as in the Bundesliga. For now, Bayern Munich is very lucky because Kane contribution has  helped Bayern Munich maintain its level. Kane is the type of player who gets along easily but is  a striker who is able to research on the pitch so it is not surprising why he is increasingly fitting into Bayern Munich style of play.
But that's still not enough because the Bundesliga has competitors whose positive trend is very difficult to stop. Leverkusen will not let Bayern Munich feel  comfortable in their place and give a warning that the  Leverkusen squad does not have star players but is capable of leading the top of the Bundesliga standings.
Real Madrid seems to remain firm in its stance not to recruit new players, especially to fill the back line this season. Ancelotti relies on existing players or indeed Anelcelotti does not want his current stability to be disturbed by dealing with the adaptation of new players. In my opinion, additional options are important when financial conditions are favorable, but there is no harm for Madrid if they are able to bring in new players who can fill gaps in the back line. Ancelotti placed Nacho and Rüdiger as center backs, then his options were Tchouaméni and Carvajal.
What do you think? Can Madrid afford to rely on limited players? By facing a busy schedule, players are definitely required to remain in top condition. Isn't it ideal that having anticipation could be a solution? Next month restarts the UCL and Madrid doesn't take advantage of the transfer window?
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 02, 2024, 09:40:29 AM
After the first game of 2024, Liverpool is still leading the Premier League. I believe that we should pay close attention to Liverpool because they are making an effort to convey to the public that they will be the team to win the title this season. Their defensive players and even their midfield players are in good shape. The only area in which Liverpool is currently struggling is with a striker who is not as intelligent as Haaland in Manchester City. If he were intelligent, I think no other team could defeat Liverpool and win the Premier League title this season.
Liverpool's optimism about winning a trophy this season is very supportive because now they can breathe a sigh of relief and continue to focus on maintaining the top of the standings. Based on trends, it certainly does not rule out the possibility that Liverpool will become more confident. In today's match, Newcastle has put up extraordinary resistance, but because of this, Anfield is the most terrifying stadium and is able to provide plus points for the hosts in improving their playing mentality. So his aggressiveness in the second half could not be stopped.
On the other hand, Man City experienced a slight decline compared to last season because the composition of its players was incomplete. Forcing them to fall in quite a surprising position. Haaland doesn't seem to be able to repeat the success like last season.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 01, 2024, 12:27:37 PM
I want to ask, do you believe in experts gambling predictions?
I never trust the predictions of gamblers and never follow other people's directions in betting, because I think it would be better if we bet on something on our own basis without any pressure or orders from others. So that when we experience defeat, we don't blame other people's predictions. That way we are responsible for what is at stake, whether in small or large amounts. Gambling is too risky to depend on other people's decisions and it is very unethical if we bet but feel like we are not betting. I mean, we bet because we really want to bet money on what we think is the right bet. Whether it's true or not, gambling doesn't always bring luck.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC unconfirmed transactions exceed 500k on mempool on: January 01, 2024, 11:13:24 AM
do you think this may affect BTC usability especially for small transactions right now
you need to pay 15% fees for 100$ transaction if the devs didnt ban those BRC tokens
This has become a hot topic of conversation, not only on forums but at my place several friends have complained about high fees.
Imo it is quite reasonable that high fees make people reluctant to spend more than they would have to pay for a small transaction. Then for hodlers this further strengthens them not to sell their bitcoins. It's better to just use another payment method, because no matter what, up to now there is no solution to overcome the transaction congestion that has occurred. There needs to be some new ideas that need to be offered to miners but we haven't seen them yet. Another large-scale impact may be its adoption to become a global payment method making bitcoin currently increasingly avoided.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: January 01, 2024, 11:02:48 AM
The last thing I knew regarding Pacman, he seemed to want to retire after running for office as a political figure, but I didn't really follow him until now. It turns out he returned to the ring and made a debut that hasn't entertained us for a long time. Yes, as many people have said, this fight is for no other reason than to raise more money because it is clear that all the spectators will be very interested, even though behind the scenes there may be an agreement. Pacman on the field makes me nostalgic so if a fight happens I will happily watch it.
The key to make money in healthcare is don't cure your patient too fast, make them back to you and spend more money to follow other steps. Since a pharmacist not allowed to diagnose the patient, you need to make a personal agreement with the doctor who work as private medical practice in your pharmacy.
This sounds like an evil, but that's a way to make more money in healthcare if your goal is for business.
And this has happened as the doctor said if you still feel pain come back immediately and get further treatment don't forget to contact the doctor. This is enough to illustrate that the patient will change his mind and return to asking for more effective medicine. Health is number 1 no matter how much money you spend. The health industry definitely knows the prescriptions for medicines etc, thereby minimizing patients going to traditional medicine.
Returning to the initial setting, Man United had just been praised for their dramatic win over Aston Villa, but in front of Notthm Forest couldn't do much more than have to submit with a score of 2-1.  What's wrong with this fight?  Man United really can't predict the direction of their game, sometimes when they are in doubt  they actually play well but on the other hand, when they are sure they can get 3 points against a weaker team the results are always  surprising. For Notthm Forest, they have played  an extraordinary game which is able to provide an important lesson to Erik Ten Hag that in the Premier League even  weak clubs  can be deadly weapons on the pitch. What made this match interesting was that the second goal was scored during a counter-attack carried out by Notthm Forest players, which was due to the contribution of former Man United himself namely Elanga, and he managed to open the way easily in the opponent's defense line when he was ready.
There is now a higher possibility for Mehdi Taremi to leave Porto for Inter Milan and this Iranian player is linked to Serie A.
Mehdi Taremi has been playing for Porto for years and has achieved many achievements in this team, also is well-known among the fans of the team. But Sérgio Conceição the coach of Porto said they are looking for alternatives to fill the place of Taremi when he leaves the team, and it shows the case about Taremi s getting serious.
Inter Milan is probably going to buy Taremi during January to improve the team.
In Serie A, there are many clubs that need players like Mehdi, it's just whether he can really adapt quickly to Serie A, where the playing atmosphere is very far from competing with the competition he plays in the Portuguese League. The Serie A level is quite strict, he is already 31 years old so Mehdi needs to reconsider his decision.
But this time is different because I think Mbappe slowly realizes that he is running out of time. He has to make a choice and in my opinion he is at a stage in his life where money should not be the main driver of his decisions anymore. I would be surprised if he again extends his contract and keeps wasting his career, but it's not impossible if he can't resist the offer. Good though that so far he didn't end up playing in Saudi Arabia. That would be a nightmare given that he is the greatest talent out there.
There should be no reason for Mbappe to go to Saudi Arabia too quickly. He is still young and still deserves to have a brilliant career in Europe. His name is now one of Europe top players and if Mbappe succeeds in making the decision to leave PSG it means he is on a path that will take him to the highest level. Regarding the club of his choice so far, the biggest possibility is still Madrid because that is the only door to making Mbappe a real football star.  Don't let Mbappe extend his contract at PSG, because there his abilities will not be very prominent, in League 1 the competition between clubs is too predictable.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 30, 2023, 11:57:11 PM
First time when I read about the news I thought it was a rumor since the information has been on going that Ancelotti is going to be the next coach of the Brazilian team but when the news of his contract extension came up, I wasn't surprised because he's been a great manger so far working with the Real Madrid team and his relationship with the players has been great to since he's helped the team to get back to it's lost glory having gathered a group of young players in the team which in turn will see him and the boys grow together as they keep working to achieve more trophies. Ancelotti is a good coach and he deserves whatever he's getting right now as a great manager.
It is clear that Ancelotti deserves to extend his contract at Madrid. He may still be worried if he leaves this club in very unconvincing conditions, meaning there is still no stability in the attack line. Apart from that, not having a replacement for Benzema as the main striker means Ancelotti needs to ensure Madrid has the right striker and Ancelotti needs a few more seasons. I'm also not surprised because only Ancelotti knows exactly what the club needs right now. If he leaves in a hurry, Madrid's performance could become increasingly inconsistent. There are not many coaches who are suitable to handle a club as big as Madrid, it is very difficult to find a replacement for Ancelotti who has managed this club very well for many years.
~
I personally think Lewandowski will be released this season to the Saudi Pro League the reason Lewandowski is no longer reliable and his contribution to the team has been low this season so it was the right choice to let him move, especially since the Saudi Pro club was willing to pay a high price to bring him in. Previously I checked the top scorer list and didn't see Lewandowski name so I assume he is no longer able to compete, Barcelona should realize that there is nothing more they can expect from this 35 year old man.
Lewandowski has not always been in consistent form this season, he has even been criticized by Xavi himself. So it is not surprising that Barcelona is now starting to distrust his services at the club. In my opinion, Lewandowski should leave immediately and let this club be run by young players. Moreover, the club's financial condition can no longer guarantee anything to pay players. Saudi Arabia has become Lewandowski place because at his age his services can still be utilized there.
There were rumors about Xabi and Real Madrid being close, but now Real Madrid have extended their contract with Ancelotti and this is good news for Leverkusen as they have lost a rival to take Xabi away from them. Leverkusen will certainly keep Xabi, because he has given Leverkusen something extraordinary and to get a coach like him will be very difficult. At least they can breathe a sigh of relief with this news coming from Real Madrid and Ancelotti.
I also think so, where Leverkusen can be calmer with Xabi for the next few seasons and maximize his current ideal situation to continue maintaining his winning trend in the Bundesliga. Don't let Leverkusen lose Xabi too quickly because this season they are enjoying victory after victory. It would be very detrimental for Leverkusen if they had to let Xabi go to Madrid. For Madrid itself, this decision is also the right decision, the chemistry between Ancelotti and Madrid is still irreplaceable.
btw, Bayern Munich has 1 match remaining which they must win to continue to narrow the point difference with Leverkusen. Against Hoffenheim it could be said that it was quite difficult for Tuchel to overcome because his opponent also needed this win to occupy 5th place.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 30, 2023, 01:27:18 PM
I had the same thought. Chelsea has had a very inconsistent performance. So even though they play against mediocre teams, which incidentally are at a level below them, but there is no certainty that Chelsea can win the match. Luton is not better than Chelsea, but they have the advantage of playing at home, so there is still a possibility for Lutton to get points in this match.
Luton 0 vs 2 Chelsea and the first  half result was enough to put Chelsea  above the clouds by leading the match. In my opinion this is not a problem  of a mediocre team, it's just that Luton doesn't have players with the experience capacity like Chelsea so at least Pochettino still uses this game with  good control. Cole Palmer opened well in the 12th minute  while the second goal was finally scored by Madueke  a player who is doubtful for Chelsea this season.
In the second half, Luton who was playing at home had to be able to reduce the deficit, at least being able to score 1 goal because the first half without a shot on target  clearly disappointed the audience. Luton once beat Newcastle but unfortunately in this match they couldn't  silence Chelsea easily.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 29, 2023, 03:36:43 PM
I don't think Arsenal is ready yet this season, Arteta needs to make improvements to his team if they want to win the title, as their current performance which includes not scoring a goal won't get them far. Arsenal is set to lose another trophy this season. They play the entire game, but West Ham is the only team scoring. I disagree with anyone who predicted that West Ham would defeat Arsenal. My expectation was that Arsenal would win because they need the three points to get back the top spot in the league, but they are unable to defend their home. If West Ham not missed the penalty, the score would have ended in a 3:0 defeat for Arsenal. Liverpool is still leading the league right now.
Like the previous season the Premier League title for Arsenal is still a mystery so it is not surprising why many people are quite doubtful when facing the final season making it a habit for them  to show less than good performances. We know that Liverpool and Man City are always aggressive when clubs like Arsenal are starting to falter, Arteta is still focused  on building a team by gathering young players. Maybe he would prefer to see Arsenal in the long term but if they are  unable to win the title Arteta will get a warning from the fans.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seems it's alt season... Any suggestions..? on: December 29, 2023, 02:20:29 PM
Is there any particular one you would suggest for me to research on?
There's no harm in targeting a market cap that is still low but you still shouldn't rule out the top altcoins  that are stronger in terms of investor support.  I will add $TIA, $RNDR to the short-term portfolio to take advantage of the atlseason which generally cyclically returns to profitability after Bitcoin ATH in 2024. then I want to dive into some Layer2 projects as this is one solution to address fees on the Ethereum network, Layer2 has been a developer hunter till  now as it offers bridge options to a variety of different networks. so with massive use it will increase the market price.
919  Economy / Economics / Re: How will the BRICS currency influence Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2023, 02:03:31 PM
So, we have seen a recent attempt by some of the BRICS nations to create their own currency to rival the US dollar in international trade. We know some countries that form part of this alliance, have been sanctioned and international transactions were blocked by SWIFT that are controlled by Western countries.
A lot of these countries started to use Crypto currencies like Bitcoin to bypass these restrictions, so it will be natural that less demand for Bitcoin would occur, once these countries created their own single currency.
What do you think will happen to Bitcoin, when these BRICS countries created their own digital currency? Will there be a significant drop in the demand for Bitcoin?
Do you think BRICS countries might opt to use Bitcoin for international trade or even as a replacement for the US Dollar? Will they simply exchange local currencies OR will they develop something new? ( Something that can be controlled by them?)
Let's discuss this...
what is clear, in my opinion is that BRICS will focus on developing the currency they created  first because this is the only foundation for  building relations between countries. because after all BRICS  wants to have control over financial growth while also encouraging their respective fiat currencies. using Bitcoin still cannot be used as a specific benchmark plus  decentralization itself. moreover BRICS is considered to be late in entering  the realm of Bitcoin where Bitcoin ownership already exists so minimizing price fluctuations taking the  option of creating a new  currency is the solution. accompanied by  new agreements, new controls and currency distribution can still be controlled.
Real Madrid and Girona are both fighting to get full points in every remaining match in the first half of this season as the main competitors in the La Liga standings. Atletico Madrid and Barcelona also have the same ambitions because they both have the same points in third and fourth place in the standings.
Competition in La Liga will be much more competitive because the distance in points between 1st and 2nd place is the same and vice versa for third and fourth place. But I am much more competitive when I see the competition between Real Madrid and Girona because surprisingly Girona has so far been able to remain consistent by relying on their limited strength.
In terms of health level, Girona is clearly superior at the moment to Barcelona and Madrid. Therefore, in January Madrid must be able to cover this problem by buying several players. Because if left unchecked, Girona will be increasingly confident that they will be able to take advantage of the condition of their fit players to win. Meanwhile, Barcelona is still having the same financial problems and has to sell several players. In my opinion, Girona really benefits, Madrid should not be too confident in the condition of the squad as it is continuously because when all the options can no longer be used, the solution is to buy in the transfer market.
