901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Bear Market is BAD? on: January 03, 2020, 06:07:15 PM
I don't think bear market is bad because we have seen many time that when the best market occurs most of the big traders do some research and get their coins and find their positions from where the coins go up and the traders book many profit .

That's true it's actually a door that opens an opportunity for people to buy coins with good potential at a much lower price and this is what whales are doing right now, wait for the price to go down, buy huge amount and sell to bring the price down in the bull season, bear season are whales playground.

We should always be very active in the market because sudden drops will always help us to grab the low valued coins, so there is always room for the coin to increase their price when the market bounces back. We should also be very careful with some coin which they might dump very quickly, I hope the market situation is completely bad.

As a matter of fact, the best time to buy a good coin is during the bear market. 2018 was a great year of dip and experienced investors cashed out. Buying ltc, xrp, xtz, bch were all money multipliers for those who took the opportunity. 2019 was the year of IEOs and It paid well while it trended too

I don't agree, 2019 was bearish and many investors failed to take the profit from the token sales. The rise of IEOs squeezed the ICOs and the experienced investors started to invest in the IEOs for their own safety. Scam project count also decreased because of the lower movement circle and educated investors, maybe this year will be profitable but honestly, I lost my belief.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tap (XTP) is up 300% After Bittrex Listing on: January 03, 2020, 05:34:27 PM
initial pump do not guarantee success, remember Quarkchain, it did 23X the day it was listed and the price has dipped seriously now. Good if you get in early into the project and make decent profit, but initial success do not equate to long term success

Exactly, you nailed the point.

The pumped coins don't last long, the traders just pump it with the fuel of FOMO but the dump follows the previous trend direction. The early exit is necessary for making nice amounts, otherwise, HODL-ers and long term investors fail in the pump.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Steemit.com: Blogging is the new Mining on: January 02, 2020, 09:40:53 PM
I am tired of waiting for the new account in Steemit. There are two choices: Open the new account with entering the details during 2-3 weeks and pay the required fee for instant access to the new account. The first option has taken my 3 weeks and there is no update by the Steem team.

If you like I can make you one for free! Just shoot me a private message with the desired nickname. The good thing now with RCs is that members with a relatively big stake (like me) can set up accounts for others for free, making onboarding much easier and not dependant on steemit sinc

Thank you very much! Please check your pm, I hope you will help me to open the new account.
P.S: Btw, there is no update by Steem team yet.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 888,888 KickTokens Frozen Drop to each of 167,375 crypto users on: January 01, 2020, 12:52:10 AM
I don't want to judge it quickly but the shitcoin airdrops have no value in the ETH blockchain. The airdropped KickTokens also has been sent to my ETH address but there is no market to sell this shitcoin. The frozen drop has no use case for me, I will send it to the shitcoin burn address of 0x0(N).

906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BNB? on: December 31, 2019, 05:31:40 PM
Let the numbers speak for itself. The high expectations in the IEOs boosted the interest towards the Binance IEO which has the rule to hold some amount of BNB for being a participant in the IEO. The predictions are usually given after looking at the market history and the project/exchange. I expect the price of BNB will touch $100 next year.

Thanks for the sending XRP to the old users of Stake! Unfortunately, I lost all the amount in the Limbo, is there any strategy that can bring a stable gain over the 1000 roll? Thanks beforehand for sharing your ideas. Happy new year!

It is funny you have mentioned the altcoin which no one has heard about it:

909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: December 30, 2019, 04:43:30 PM
Hello everyone, I have a question for the GOLD project.

Is the current gold coin price following the world gold price?
This is my main question, because I am confused by the conditions in crypto and the real world ... if you follow the real gold price, then your inventory will be minimized risk
As mentioned, the price follows the Gold price but how they convince the people about the full reserves? Is there any documentation or paperwork to check the reliability of this project? What is the difference between the other gold-backed altcoins and the GOLD coin? Thanks for answering my questions!

🌉 We're thrilled to partner with Kyber Network on a new bridge that integrates BNT & Bancor pools to enhance liquidity for the DeFi community!

https://twitter.com/Bancor/status/1211643594920144898?s=20

Announced today on BLOCKTVnews: ban.cr/DeFi600

Another testament that this project is continuously finding ways on how to serve its community at its best. Last hurrah for this year! Hopefully, the increase of BNT price is also in continuous motion, and maybe this coming year or months, can we see it at $0.5?  Wink
I remember the days when the price of BNT was around $8 and the recent price is ridiculously low. The development news from the team is not enough to see a high soaring on the price of BNT, the overall market heads down.

912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling my 51,000 DGB ( DIGIBYTE ) on: December 30, 2019, 02:27:05 PM
thank you, that was very useful indeed.

if you sold your coin by yourself you will get around 275$ while if you sold it to another member you will lose 30$
If the OP can't prove the source of funds, the hacked coins can be sold in this way. Maybe for avoiding the KYC OP prefers to sell P2P.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: December 29, 2019, 05:24:20 PM
Are there any non-shills in this thread? This is quite ridiculous.
It is commonly known by the forum members, new accounts came to this thread for shilling their bags. Thanks to forum administration, the "bump" function is necessary for really bumping the ANN thread.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies are highly undervalued these days? on: December 27, 2019, 12:11:25 PM
Everyone keeps saying altcoins are losing value, what about bitcoin? From it's ATH of 19k it's now at 7k what else do you expect from altcoins? That's like 74% off bitcoin, let's take a look at Bnb token ATH which was 30$ and now it's trading at 13$, this is all normal to me and good altcoin are all doing fine
Don't compare both digital asset with the same logic. One is established and the oldest cryptocurrency in this industry, while BNB has been around for a several years. The new altcoins and exchange coins will increase the competition between exchange altcoins, this can be the reason why BNB price heads down.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: December 27, 2019, 11:35:19 AM
If you really want to invest in altcoins right now, do so with your disposable income. For instance, instead of buying a pack of cigarettes, buy an altcoin instead. Instead of subscribing to a gym membership you know you won't go, buy crypto.
Perfect plan, but it is very hard to practice. Cigarettes, gym membership, spending on movies, etc were much close to one's life as these are ones habitual activity. In simple it is something that is a part of day to day life. To avoid these and making an investment could get good profit, but very few will get adoptive to it.
I don't agree, replacing the daily entrainment with buying altcoins will have a huge pressure over our shoulders. What am I supposed to do if I spend my weekly time on gyms?  It doesn't make sense, I will stare at the Coinamrketcap page for days with the hope of "I can re-register my gym membership as soon as altcoin season happens". Come on, guys.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins getting delisted on: December 27, 2019, 11:04:23 AM
The natural selection works very well and the dead volume altcoins get delisted because of the mentioned reasons. The many altcoin pairs are not traded by traders due to the illiquid market conditions. The bull market will give these altcoins a second breathe if these dead altcoins can survive until the arrival of the bull market.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which are your recommendations for best coins to invest in 2020? on: December 26, 2019, 05:11:58 PM
Hi. I am sure that I will only like and invest in bitcoin next year. because I don't like altcoins, no matter how attractive altcoins I don't change my mind.
Because of the use case, some altcoins have higher popularity and investing in the promising altcoins will not make anyone upset. The potential return on the investment is bigger than investing in the Ethereum itself but the ETH price will boom after the full POS implementation.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: December 26, 2019, 04:55:20 PM
So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?
The only countermeasure I can think of is to obtain more knowledge. Having a lot of knowledge will be great help to determine the credibility of one project. You need to be overcritical in choosing where project you want to invest to. Moreover, ICOs are now not like before there's a lot of project failed to reach their cap and even if they did it  listing on exchange platform will be another problem. However, there is an IEO which is much better I think because it is already been partnered with exchanges so there's no need to worry about listing.
The mentioned countermeasures are not enough to protect the investors and bounty hunters, from my own experience. The knowledge without the experience is enough only over the paper and in the real crypto world, the sharks swallow the planktons in the first mistake. Besides the many new projects, the quality of the projects is not heartwarming.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of Altcoin on: December 25, 2019, 05:19:51 PM
I realy want to buy altcoin which coin can i buy to hold and make big project in future any idea tell me best profit coin to buy thanks.

After reviewing the opinions of members, you should conduct your own research on all altcoins that you want to invest in, With many old and new altcoins projects, it is difficult to give an opinion that everyone agrees on, I think these altcoins that I will mention to you will have a high profile in 2020 and they are BAT, Chainlink, Fetch, QAN, RSK and XRP
It is best for people who are in the cryptocurrency space to find the altcoin that they are about to invest by themselves. It is also better if we will not base our decision to the other people's suggestion. Learn how to conduct both fundamental and technical analysis so you can combine those two and make a good investing decision.
Makes sense, investors have to learn this in a hard way or they can educate themselves thought the education platforms. The investment is not game especially in the crypto industry, the trend can take all the gains of years faster than before trader clicks the stop order. The fundamental research is the basement for building a solid portfolio, investors should make the research in investments.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Points Why Crypto Future Will Be Totally Unstoppable on: December 25, 2019, 04:44:49 PM
Let me add a few more lines to your arguments why the crypto mass adoption will live in its higher in 5 years:

The Digital assets will be an alternative choice for the institutional investors
The collapse of traditional financial markets will be the reason of money flow to the crypto market.
Lower inflation rates create its own demand in the crypto ecosystem.
