We haven't announced the exact date yet.
The initial schedule was ~2 weeks after ICO. Right now it looks like it will be delayed a little bit.
The BTCD swap feature should be ready soon, and after that everyone can send their BTCD to our ICO site. The timetable looks something like this:
-> BTCD deposit process begins
- we must wait several days (possibly a week) that everyone has enough time to deposit their BTCD
-> BTCD blockchain snapshot
-> Voting starts
- during this process BTC and BTCD investors will vote & redeem their KMD
We would like to have easy installers and Komodo wallet ready when we launch. Satinder has said that the Komodo wallet (in EasyDEX GUI) is ready, but it has to be compiled. Right now they are working on a single executable/installer. For this there is no set date, but the team is working on it hard and it should be ready soon.
All in all there are a lot of moving parts still, so we cannot promise any date. The network is running, as our testnet actually became a mainnet. We just need to wait for these various parts to be completed, and then we can announce the final schedule for elections and KMD redeems.
I think I don't have an account on the ICO platform because I want to swap BTCD, but it seems as if I can't create an account any more because the ICO is finished. Do I have to send my BTCD for the swap to a specific BTCD address instead of keep them in my old BTCD address? I just successfully created a new ICO account. Try a hard refresh (shift + F5) It should work. |

You can now check your seed!-> Click "Check KMD Address" -> Enter your seed -> You will get the public KMD address Now you can be 100% sure you have successfully saved the correct seed! Please double check!

Yes, when you created the account it gave you a seed (or passphrase) that you should have saved somewhere. If you lost it you can now create another one. Just to be sure:

Iguana Update #14
1. Native builds
Last week update showed that the builds are still in development. Was not in charge for them, but planned to dig deeper and get a clear picture on their status this week.
As we discussed before, first we need to focus on Windows and Mac installers. Native Iguana Full Wallets will let found a primary network of full Nodes so that we can move further with Lite Nodes, Chrome app, and mobile.
2. Testing
We discussed what test we would apply before, this week we are busy with all tasks to setup testing infrastructure and get all papers ready. I will update on with what testing tools and flow we decided to go.
3. GUI features
We've already compiled backlog for 0.2 version, but I will be grooming it today. Moreover, I planned to compile backlog for 0.3 this week too.

We now have our candidates!We have split the world into four different regions, and each will have its own election. By doing this we ensure that we will have nodes all over the world, and no single country can shut them all down. Each KMD can vote once on each region or election. You can vote one node per region, so at the end you will vote 4 times. The four regions are: - EU (Europe) - NA (North America) - AR (Asia & Russia) - SH (Southern Hemisphere)  All the nodes are marked on the map, including the borders of each region. We will have to give them several days to do this, and after that we can take the BTCD blockchain snapshot. The end result is, that everyone can vote and get their KMD coins at the same time. When will we be in exchanges? The situation hasn't changed: we cannot promise anything. Of course if the situation changes we will update everyone about it.

As in 1.25n (for the avatar) * 1.25 (bonus for choosing KMD) = 1.5625n (56.25% bonus) where n is the amount one would receive in bitcoin without the avatar. Logically it should be as you count. But KomodoPlatform has not specified what will be the base for the calculation of the KMD bonus. Now he can say that base for both bonuses is post count earnings and it will be 1.25 + 1.25 = 1,5 (50%). Let's wait for official statement. Yes, your rate * bonus * bonus So it is very nice!
