Wow thanks for the heads-up!
They made it look really good and a newbie could and would certainly fall for a scam like this!

 I certainly hope that nobody has fallen for it!
904  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: April 06, 2020, 06:25:43 AM
I am not entirely sure if I am on negative, I haven't checked the stats for a while now but I am also investing, so I might be in "profit" sort of speaking, not because of gambling but because of investing. I started out way back and gambled here and lost a ton of money, however after a while I realized the house always wins, so instead of keep gambling and keep losing money I said maybe I can invest and be the house and not lose any money?

It worked out pretty well and right now I have been both invested and gamble as well, sometimes I gamble and lose more than I earn as an investor, sometimes I earn more from investing, it depends all on how much I end up wagering and how lucky I get that day. If I can only stop gambling and only take the profits Cheesy.

This!
If I can stop playing and just keep the investment I would be fine! Cheesy

Lol.

My math says that you make money and users send traffic to the site.

I register and pay 0.01BTC
I refer 5 People that each pay 0.01BTC

So with this little Example.

I have made 0.015 BTC (in Profit after my initial "Registration Fee") and you made 0.035BTC for doing absolutely nothing.
Yeah ok, this is one of the craziest, most stupid sites I have seen around.

And all of this is manual too?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

How many picks do you normally have on a day?
What book do you use to place these bets?
Whats the min. Bet, that you accept to receive a commision on (small time better here)

Thanks and Good Luck!
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of Covid on: March 31, 2020, 08:57:50 AM
I kind of assumed as much.
I mean Covid caused a big stir and created alot of panic.
Panic meaning people losing their jobs or not getting paid, so I can understand people liquidating their coin to spend $$$ to feed them and their families.
This money will come back and much more after all this Covid stir is dealt with.
My prediction is, buy now.

I have good feelings about Ripple!
Yes ETh took number 2 spot and passed Ripple but ETH has been on quite a tear anyway.
I see XRP coming back strong!

913  Other / Beginners & Help / Airdrops Question on: January 29, 2018, 09:12:53 AM
Hi,

Please be gentle as I have researched but I have nowhere found a reliable place for my inquiry.

Is there a site that lists all upcoming and running airdrops, I dont mind if these sites use reflinks and I sign up using them.
I want to start promoting airdrops and would like to also use my ref link, so it would also be nice of the website to post what the ref bonuses are.

Am I asking too much here, or is there a site that offers what I am looking for?

Thanks for reading through this post and have a nice day.

914  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bustabit (v2) Seeding Event on: January 23, 2018, 01:23:38 PM
In a few days I will be releasing version 2 of bustabit. The principle of our provably fair system remains the same, but the algorithm that converts game hashes to game results has changed. Therefore I'm holding a new seeding event.

Starting with a secret I've generated a chain of 10,000,000 SHA256 hashes. Each element is the hash of the lowercase, hexadecimal string representation of the previous hash. The hash of the chain's last element is 86728f5fc3bd99db94d3cdaf105d67788194e9701bf95d049ad0e1ee3d004277.

Every game maps to a hash in the chain: The 10,000,000th element of the chain is the hash of game #1 and the first element in the chain is the hash of game #10,000,000. To verify that a hash belongs to a game #n, simply hash it n times and compare the result with the terminating hash.

To calculate a game's result from its hash:
Code:
const crypto = require("crypto")

function gameResult(seed, salt) {
  const nBits = 52 // number of most significant bits to use

  // 1. HMAC_SHA256(key=salt, message=seed)
  const hmac = crypto.createHmac("sha256", salt)
  hmac.update(seed)
  seed = hmac.digest("hex")

  // 2. r = 52 most significant bits
  seed = seed.slice(0, nBits/4)
  const r = parseInt(seed, 16)

  // 3. X = r / 2^52
  let X = r / Math.pow(2, nBits) // uniformly distributed in [0; 1)

  // 4. X = 99 / (1-X)
  X = 99 / (1 - X)

  // 5. return max(trunc(X), 100)
  const result = Math.floor(X)
  return Math.max(1, result / 100)
}

Before being used to calculate the corresponding result, each game hash is salted with the lowercase, hexadecimal string representation of the hash of bitcoin block 505750. This block has not been mined yet, proving that I have not deliberately picked a chain that is unfavorable for players.

I have been waiting a while for BaB2.

Its having its little burst at the moment. It might rise to a higher amount but it will never be a high $ alt.

Its nice to have on the side, but nothing serious!

919  Other / Meta / Re: [Help] How do I increase my activity on bitcointalk? on: December 28, 2017, 02:54:06 PM
Please how so I increase my activity here on bitcointalk? Tips would be appreciated. Thanks

By simply posting once a day. That's the maximum efficiency. Read the stickies.

Activity is updated/increased with 14 every two weeks on tuesday. For every period that you post in you get ~14 potential activity ( 1 period = 2 weeks interval).

Meaning that 14/2 weeks = ~1 activity each day. (which you will get by simply making 1 post.)

So, does it mean it takes 30 days to reach activity 30?

Yes.

The highest activity is one per day...
Spamming or posting more will just increase your post count, but wont increase your activity.
920  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the average amount you invest? on: December 23, 2017, 01:01:57 PM
There isnt a general answer to that question.
Invest how much you are willing to lose!

Dont go too crazy and if it all crashes and burns it will ruin you.

Invest some money monthly from each paycheck and slowly build your cryptos!
