901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 01, 2019, 05:34:14 AM

If I remember correctly David West, for example, is one of those players who have made so much money that he could have retired 10 years earlier and still would be have been super rich. I mean it is ups and downs kind of deal. Of course, no business brings in as much as playing basketball, you get to be paid 10+ million a year (as much as 40 for high end superstars) and than you get to make tons of money with endorsement deals as well, Gatorade, Nike, many other stuff as well. That is why I think players are not that poor anymore, maybe 10-20 years ago but nowadays they are getting paid insane amount of money and you could totally live with that anywhere in the world, even high end cities like London.

This is the reason, being smart about your investment is important but not spending all you have is more important, you can live with no profits on your investments and just the money you made, let it be on your bank account without gaining a single dollar interest, you would still be fine, all you have to do is not spend too much.
You can still survive if you won't spend too much and not to live like it will never be emptied, most of those wise players do have business or investment that will allow their money to grow more, it's hard not to invest once you have a luxury lifestyle, you should think wiser instead of keeping your check inside the banks, best to find good investment and make your money work for you.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: September 01, 2019, 12:00:23 AM
Just curious here.
I know there are tons of way to live.

but is there such a thing as professional gamblers?

people who make a living onlyout of gambling (online or on rl)?

resources and comments on that are really welcome.
I have not found anyone who depends on income from gambling, but there are people like that, whether it has become a hobby or because they are forced to get rich quick. need experience and techniques to become a professional gambler.
Needs a lots of experienced and a very good attitude towards this industry, maybe it can be done for someone who is really good in controlling their emotions, they can workout  independently and do manage to get some profits from each time they've played with the games that they've mostly use, most of the time it's poker or sports betting where professional finds some good edge to work and earn some money.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You Should Know Before Playing A Crypto Betting Game on: August 31, 2019, 04:40:13 AM
Can you name that website?

Usually if you want assurance that you are treated well while playing on a casino, you should play only to the reputable ones.

Some can be new and still be great. Remember, every business starts one day. Just look for Crypto gaming site that has provably fair games and play with. You can test their customer support to see how proactive they are. Those should be the deciding factors.
This is all about the business growth. If you are providing great services on day one, bear in mind that you are going to get huge number of costumers. The same concept is used by Tesla Car maker Elon Musk who made model3 back in 2013 and is still the best car in terms of price and quality. Same goes for such sites. If you are not providing good services, you are elbowed aside.
Giving what's best for your customers and providing great services will bring them to keeps on coming back,  the competitions are always be there it's the owners responsibilities on how they will bring the best that they have in order make it pleasable to every gamblers that will visit and play inside the house, gamblers always decides once they've feel the comfort and good treatment from the house.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 30, 2019, 01:58:27 PM

Which is why, I'm deeply curious to know if there's actually a secret within gambling that would allow me to win more than losing? Any thoughts about this will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

This is very contradicting, we are talking about gambling, so we could easily say or expect that we are going to lose more than winning. The house edge on each gambling sites that you could find in the internet are designed to make a huge amount of money to sustain the needs of the site. Winning in gambling for me seems to be just because of pure luck, winning once or twice doesn't mean you are good at it, sometimes it is just a trap.

Gambling sites are very tricky, they have this algorithm which runs randomly so you can't easily predict each roll if you are thinking about it. So if you win a huge amount of money or even just enough, save it and call it a day.

And that's what we called self control, if you have this whenever you play then it will bring you good outcome, quitting once yup already got enough earnings serves as your safe haven since it's really difficult to control greediness when you are in the momentum, knowing when to quit both with winnings or losing strict is very hard decisions once you are already engaging with this activities.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 30, 2019, 12:11:53 PM
So KD and Kyrie are recruiting the still unsigned Melo to join them in Brooklyn. What do you guys think? A one year contract sounds like a good deal to me since KD won't be able to play for a long time. I hope Melo's manager don't act like a tough guy if ever the Nets management contacts him.
If Melo can adjust and he can remove his ego and accept his role as a bench then maybe a one year deal will be a worthy deal for him and a chance for him to redeem himself. I watched him carrying the Knicks way back 2014 I think and carried it to playoffs. The all-star Melo type is gone already but he can be helpful in the Nets with KD out for the whole season.
It's a good addition while Kyrie taking incharge there's another veteran who can lift up the competitive spirit of the entire team, hope he get this and have him another chance to play again, there's always a good time for a star who's passion is to entertain the fans, one year contract might be enough whether he deserves to comeback and redeem himself and play.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: August 30, 2019, 07:00:43 AM
Focus on a single game and then review past tournaments. Check out the teams that have participated to see their winning ratio then follow them online to find whether which teams might participate at any certain event. Also follow individual players in each to know if they'll be in the lineup. That should at least give you an idea on how they'd fare and which is the more skilled team.

That's a good point. Now the question. What do you use ? What information do you need? Do you read the first better newsletters?

The thing about single game is that, they take a lot of money if you want to bet on them. You have to use a lot of money on it so that the odd and reward will increase a little. Usually, single games have lower odds and that makes the risk higher because you want to play with much money
The odd is small whenever the winning chances is higher, if you are aware and very confident that the game you pick can generate you a win then even in small odd it's far better than risking with higher odds but the winning chance is very low, small profits is good if you have continuous run and you have a good sets of goals that you can achieve each time you play the game that you fully understand.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: August 29, 2019, 11:47:45 PM
What would Joshue do, if he loses to Ruiz for the second time ? Who should be Joshua' s next opponent if he loses in his 2 last fights ?
If the game will turn against Joshua then the possibility of him start all over again will be there. But am not seeing this rematch be in favor of Andy rather in favor of Joshua, Joshua will just need to intensify on his strike against Andy to win on this rematch.
If everything will work out for Joshua then boxing fans will expect for another rematch as a deciding game for this two fighters, most of the fans will be eyeing for him as he's more on the aggressive side of this fight, though Ruiz knock him down the momentum still on his side to win back his title, still have to prove it as there's many speculations around regarding to this rematch.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 29, 2019, 01:55:41 PM
Losing isn't an end for everything, it's just a lessons that we need to learn. Don't be disappointed when you fail on gambling, because having serious attachment with it was stressful to us. What's important is we should have strong faith and determinations to face and battle emotions in order to overcome another loss.
If you are really deeping into this business then you need to have this courage to face and accept loses that happened to you, it's hard in a way that it will be  full of regrets once you encounter very huge  loses or when you almost have a good run but failed to quit and losses it back, we do have different experienced where we really needed to overcome in order to continue both to be entertain or to earned decent money from this industry.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: August 29, 2019, 01:31:28 PM
Have anyone profited out of dice in the short or long term. I have been trying the best and lost all, I can't leave it. Once after I loss I have gone beyond my ability. Finally as the wallet got emptied, I bought bitcoin particularly for betting and lost even the amount earned from my day job. I used to experience win, but at the end it is a loss. I miss the right time to stop and leave. Cry Cry Cry

You probably need to take a break. People definitely profit from dice but it's not regular profits. Huge wins happen randomly or once in a while especially for luck-based gamblings. You just got lucky with your former wins, I guess.

You need to realized everything especially with a luck based gambling games, it's tough to say that you can have more positive than negative results,
it's not everyday that you'll have the chance to take a piece from the house bankroll, though there's really a lucky day where you can have big profits but along the way if you don't have the right attitude you'll be going back to lose it again, you need to settle your emotions and make a much deeper assessment to make sure that you'll not suffer from this activities.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 29, 2019, 12:53:34 PM

They can't have both and the team chooses blatche over clarkson as they need a center who can dominate.
Philippines have 7 footers as well, but they are slow unlike Blatche who is an almost all around player, he knows how to dribble, drive, and even shoot 3's,  local centers are more like post up players.

I think without clarkson, there are other players that will step up as every FIBA tournament  they have new players added in their squad, so let's see if the new players will be able to contribute in this game.
Though you are correct since there's a ruling that clarkson can't play without naturalizing him so the team chooses Blatche over him, mentioning those qualifications it's really hard to lose Blatche from the squad, he's dominance as the big man can play the opponents both inside and outside, it's still
better keeping him, if only FIBA allowed both Remy and Jordan then the chance might be much higher.

The goal is to compete and try to step forward if chances open it's door to move in to the second round.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 29, 2019, 07:46:09 AM
I won but I can count it on my fingers. There are more losses than winnings for me. But everytime I win and make it to the minimum payout, I just transfer it to my wallet and reinvest it to btc or eth. All my profits, I've managed to save them up for good and wait for the major pump to gain another profits. But recently, I luckily won just enough. So i cashed out the half to buy my personal things to reward myself and then save the other half.
I really respect the fact that you're able to control your buzz but gambling is a game of chance not an investment which is the reason why you loose more than you win. However, I will advise you to plan an exit game strategy in case reach the minimum payout.

Having a good sets of plans where you can stick on it and allow yourself to follow whatever the situations brings you, there's always a good chance if you have relatively system that can work with the sway of the mod while playing, if happens that you are lucky and can win something then quitting and enjoy will be a better option, it's part of a plan that will gives you great outcome while you are enjoying your game.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 29, 2019, 06:46:38 AM
if he will do good, there is a big possibility of an NBA comeback just like what other NBA stars did in the past.
Forget about going back and move on. Be a star in China.
I agree with Reid here. What's the point of coming back? He should just enjoy his playing time in China and retire there. He gets to play basketball and he gets to earn millions. He can simply become a basketball ambassador there just like Yao Ming.
There's no space for him to come back as there's a lots of new star that will keeps on rising that will continue disappoint him, stardom is fading for him so while he's still the got the chance to play then it's better for him to sign to whichever league that he will be able to show his skills if he's still have the opportunities to show up, no need to force himself just enjoy the money.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: August 29, 2019, 02:28:02 AM
For me, I think KYC is not necessary anymore even if you win big amount, if you are a gambler and been using the site regularly and you don't break any rules that triggers them to require you a KYC, then you will be fine. My personal experience tells me that gambling sites does not require KYC, in my many years of gambling, I also won big but I was never required to do a KYC compliance.
Yeah, I don't think it's necessary to do KYC even if you won a big prize. Since this is cryptocurrency, it promotes being anonymous online. What is the essence of being anonymous when you need to comply KYC? But, the thing in KYC is that this can be also served as the security of the gambling site and the person who won the jackpot. I just don't know what the future holds for the information you sent to them.
If the gambling house got a licensure from the government then they needed to follow procedures providing kyc especially for high earners, it's about taxes and maintenance costs that they've needed to provide with the government, though it's been always have a case where gamblers doubts this process but there's nothing that they can do if this really being required.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Service on: August 28, 2019, 05:23:21 PM
I wonder if he can get a customer who will want to share his account and bet for him. I am curious how he can win the game with his method, but I think that will be too risky to do that. Not mention the worst thing that might happen, but it is better if we bet by ourselves without depends on the other people. But that will be that personal decision to join with the OP, and I hope that he doesn't try to scam people from here.

There was no way he wasn't trying to scam, his motives were very strange and absurd. Even OP provides services but does not provide proof of method, then how will members believe? yeah only stupid people try it. If OP is able to make $ 20-30 per day why he doesn't play alone, isn't income much better than playing someone else's account. strange.
If you have the real method why sell your service and let the method be caught by the house? It's very obvious that this is no guarantee as gambling will keep being gambling the risk are still the same, if this system exist owners will keep it safe it will not be revealed to anyone, having a strategy that can fed you up every play you'll take. Always think twice before doing anything.

To all the Gilas fans out there, what do you think about the upcoming first game between Philippines and Italy.

This are the line offered in my sportsbook..

Philippines to win 13 , Italy to win 1.03.
Philippines +17.5 , Italy -17.5..

What do you think about the Philippines ML? This is so tempting for me.... Grin
ML is a trick while handicap can give some chance winning if PH able to get close against this giants though it's still a big challenge to the entire squad, much better to stay safe and watch the game and enjoy instead of betting and be stressed once you fail to pick the right choice, I'll be glad to see PH team to try harder fighting with the guys that left for this team.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 28, 2019, 06:55:59 AM
Theres always a chance for them to team up. The real question is, can KD play the way he did before the injury? I mean that was a major injury right there, most of the player who had a major injury are struggling for recovery and might end up in an early retirement.

That's not good, KD already had Irving and if he comes back playing his old self, they had a chance to win championships.
KD leave Warriors because he don't want to play with a superteam, he wanted to prove again in another team and Him and Irving are like Lebron and Irving in the Cleveland days and I think Durant is even better.

That is if KD is the same KD we used to know during his GSW days. I think after his rehab in his injury, KD will never be the same as he was. Like most players suffered the same injury as he acquired now, their skills drops drastically and it would be what KD will be. Though he will still be a superstar but not like what he is at his peak.
Maybe yes he won't be the same, but also Kawhi suffered before but happened to came back stronger, it's a love from the game and the passion that he will continue playing the same intensity that he have way back, KD is one of those prime player from the league and having him back with the same types of athletic attitude will keep him as one of the best that the sports ever have.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: August 28, 2019, 04:58:14 AM
Yes, gambling can make man destitute at any time. Gambling is just for fun only. Gambling is not a way to make money. I know many people play gambling to earn money. But it should not be done at all. Gambling will have to play for fun. Humor pressure can never be taken if you lose in gambling. Remember gambling is just a simple game that is fun to play. Never invest more money in gambling. If you invest a lot more in gambling then you can be destitute.

Thank you

Gambling is so much like investing, you should only invest what you can afford to lose, in the case of gambling, you should only gamble with money that you can afford to lose and do not go after you lose, the temptation to go after your losses is very high, because the momentum will always be there, and this is something you should learn, do not go after your losses however tempting it might be.
Adding more bankroll once you lose is not a good idea as you will surely suffered for more, emotions lead us to worse decisions that we can made, you have to be well prepared whenever you start playing, don't chase those loses keep enjoying your game so it Won't affects your system, playing for fun or even playing to earned needs to works with right emotions to use not being bothered by mistakes.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: August 27, 2019, 09:42:23 AM
I'm not very experienced, but I've noticed that the best strategy is to go big in one or two rolls or leave it.
The longer you try to play, the more likely it is for the possibilities to turn against you!

It makes sense you know, since the chances are usually around 51% you'll lose.
When you lose then move forward and forget about everything, it's a good strategy than trying to make something that will also ends up losing, though there's also some gamblers who play dice very well especially those gamblers who have a good attitude in making decisions that controlled their very emotions not to lose a lots of their bankroll, experienced gamblers have this advantage as they've been there being burned out.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What withdrawal fee do you consider as fair in gambling sites? on: August 27, 2019, 07:31:37 AM
It's always good to have options and not just a fixed rate once you're going to withdraw your balance, or if possible much lesser fee to be collected since it's already a business and with the house edge they have the shares from each games gamblers being played inside the house, it's better for each gambling house to adjust from what the players demands especially if it's take about having more gamblers to use the site.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 26, 2019, 04:18:39 PM
I have least interest in politics. I consider politics a toxic issue. But it sounds like politics betting is interesting. It is better if people will only treat politics as a way to gamble. That is a fun way of looking at it because, to be honest, politics is nothing but a systematic and constitutional game for the elites and their puppets to fight it out for a few positions. So we better treat it like betting on a horse race.
Politics is really like gambling you are betting with the fate of your country and knowing who's getting the edge and who's behind them will give a good advantage if you will going to bet on an actual betting sites, it's still unpredictable since it can also be manipulated by those dark horses behind it, politics doesn't have real assurance indeed but you can call it as gambling whether you place a bet it not.
